having a little get together for new years and inviting the 141 men, you honestly think they won’t show, they’re a little too in their own bubble, too focused on the job to let a silly little party even cross their mind. and you don’t take it to heart, you’ve had conversations with almost the whole task force, you know they’re kind or at least respectful for the most part. soap can’t help the flirtatious quips and gaz gives you the sweetest (manipulative) puppy eyes whenever you decline lunch or being his work out buddy. price gives you warm hellos when he catches you on base but not much more, which isn’t surprising considering his high status.

ghost, on the other hand, lives up to his callsign. you see him out the corner of your eye sometimes, haunting hallways and generally being spooky. but you don’t let it faze you, he’s never been rude to you, whenever you drop something he happens to be close enough to pick it up for you and when you had leaned down under an open cabinet to grab a tea bag his hand held the corner of said cabinet to make sure you didn’t hit your head. you just thought he was a caring guy that liked to help (you’re the only one who thinks this). there couldn’t be a hidden meaning to it.

that is until the four men do show up to your little get together, greet you with hellos (price) and hugs (gaz and soap) and one gruff nod in your general direction (ghost). you’re happy to see them, and immediately start to play the gracious host, offering drinks and appetizers. but before you can really get into soaps story about being shot in the ass you’re ushered off to do something else, and you end up hopping from place to place, person to person, up until 11:58pm.

and yeah you’re a little tipsy, the few drinks you’d had were strong thanks to a friend, and the thought of going into the new year without a sweet kiss was absolutely repulsive. soaps been in your peripheral for close to an hour, and you know he wouldn’t mind a kiss from you to bring in the new year, he probably has a line forming already.

but as you’re making your way to him, eyes locked and a shit eating grin on his face, you’re pulled to the side by a large hand on your jaw, and you gasp when a pair of chapped lips meet yours as everyone yells happy new year around you. and when the assailant finally lets go, you’re met with big brown eyes and half a black balaclava scrunched under his nose.

this one with a lot more lore and a lot less silly

so basically, she’s from amazon lily, and was raised by her older sister, who is a kuja pirate

she idolized her, and decided to sneak onto the kuja ship one day

long story short, they stopped at sabaody, and she was taken by slave traders

while imprisoned on their ship, she found a devil fruit that they were planning on selling, and out of desperation, she ate it

the fruit was the marrow-marrow no mi, which gave her the ability to manipulate the bones of living beings (when making contact with them)

since she had no control, she went out of control and massacred her captors

there was a survivor, and he saw her potential as an assassin, so he brought her to his boss to be trained

killing became her normal, and the only emotion she held on to was a vague longing for her sister

(this could be relevant if she happened to encounter a giant that just so happened to resemble her sister 🤭)

there are two things i wanted to say about this edit which are:

1. i am not an expert when it comes to astrology and so i wasn't completely sure if the phases of the moon could be considered part of that pseudo science in all its glory. thus, i might have taken some liberties interpreting this bingo square, but i figured that bc the moon is recognized as one of the planets affecting us, and astrology thinks that at least the phases of the moon can affect ie. our birth charts and whatnot, it would be close enough. i also interpreted the meaning of all the phases a bit differently than the original ones i followed for this edit were, just to make them fit better with the story. so excuse me for that.

2. sanvee's love story here is mostly told from san's perspective and the edit shows his change and growth more than vee's. i would've liked to include both sides but that would've meant including so much more material than i already had that i decided to make some sacrifices. the moon phases also felt like they fit san, as an immortal being, somewhat better. like that, this edit follows the story line where san first discovers vee as the reincarnation of khun wad, struggles with accepting this change, and then comes to embrace vee as his own person and a new chance in life and love. that is everything i loved about century of love as a show bc i enjoy stories about immortality and reincarnation plus the hints of tragic love they give us in the sense that san's love seems to require big sacrifices.

i had a ton of fun making this edit and it might be one of my biggest sets yet. i like it. am happy the network is giving me so much inspiration to work with ♥

There’s a reddit post on r/eldenringdiscussions called “post-DLC opinion of Mohg” or smthing it talks about how Mohg would have probably been worshipped in the shadow lands and it made me hella sad

The hornsent would have had their horny heads blown off at the mere presence of Mohg because of how unfathomably based he was by their own metrics. fucking LOOK AT HIM BRO. Like, actually let us look at him. Even without the hornsent/golden order "ooh omen divine/evil" propaganda, he alone stands majestic. You could have had no context before entering mohgwyn palace and still come out of that fight thinking "Okay he was definitely a big deal".

A hornsent stands beneath him; He is tall, aloft, his wings like a roof over their world. He delivers, from every angle, the ambience of a divine lord. His drip is immaculate, his horn alignment is omen goals, his bloodboon generous with strength. He is THAT o-MAN. Mf emerges out of a pool of his own blood, blinged out, and slays tarnished trespasser with pitchfork. +100000000 aura. He walks, struts, fights like a born king/lord/god. He is proud too, reveling in the fire of his noble blood. The formless mother of truth herself plays as his godly patron; He is EVERYTHING that would have had that hornsent noble npc frothing from his mouth

I am convinced that, in the shadow lands, he would have been worshipped as a figure of divinity. An irrefutable proof of their own blessed nature. People would have kissed the very grounds he walked on, maybe even make headdresses mimicking the heart shape of his horns. He would have had it ALL, and his mother took that from him. And his father. And the world they brought after. It is tragic man.
