These days it's hard to admit you done fucked up.

Very hard.

Especially hard for a professional company.

Watcher fucked up. And today they admitted to that publicly, and turned tail. It's the smartest thing they could've done both for the fans and their continued survival. Their new plan for the service is smart, and should have been the plan from the get-go. Because as much as they might actually hate YouTube, it is their front door. That's the welcome wagon. That's what gets viewers and new fans to onboard with you. Removing that only binds your hands. You may have wanted to make TV caliber programming (and you may all still do so), but it'll forever be tied to YouTube because that's where you started. That's where you're known.

It did not help one iota for Shane to be anti-capitalistic as part of his personae and then for him to seemingly ignore it. It felt disingenuous to the fans, and they were noticeably blown back by it. I'm glad that the new model seems more in line with his personae and that he looks more at ease with what's going on.

I hope like hell the Steven bashing stops, and the internet can collectively keep a cool head, not pirate their hard work, and consider giving their channel another shot.

Like I said, it takes a whole metric ton of gumption to admit you were wrong, and even more to refund subscribers, give Patreon members free subscriptions, and all-around make things better.

#weird things are happening #friday night one minute I'm cooking dinner next im in tears thinking about the shit with my mam.. standard friday eve whatever. we move #saturday my friend asks me if i wanna go to see the mother and the weaver exhib #which centres around the artists complex relationship with her mum who she relates to a spider #it makes me feel fucked up and weird #we go for dinner then part ways and im feeling odd and i pass Curzon so i decide to go watch fremont to cheer myself up #did no research thought it was a sweet quirky romcom abt a fortune cookie writer with jeremy allen white #well. dont get me wrong it was so wonderful highly recommend. but i left that screening feeling FUCKING TERRIBLE and incredibly lonely #anyways. i decide im gonna have a bubble bath when i get home. RAAAHH this is what we would have gotten the kids to do #so I guess we're just too good at our jobs lol #that one LU post with the lads lined up with their bows? It's AWESOME #but I taught a bunch of kids archery this summer and none of the lads have the right posture lol #I'm walking up and down that line readjusting all of them ahsgdsdf #Imagine Wars going to Wind though like 'remember to pull back to your smile! :D '#and Wind just deadeye staring him down like you serious rn?#caught and removed a scorpion from the lake cabin biffy this summer - that was very exciting #calmed the campers down and put them to bed and then rolled up my sleeves and asked the program staff who was staying with us #for emotional support #her only experience with scorpions was from animal crossing so she was like 'get ready to run' and I'm- I think we'll be okay #anyways it's her perched on one of the toilets with a spray bottle of bleach and me with an empty tupperware from dinner #I caught it under the tupperware but IT MOVED THE TUPPERWARE #we drowned it in bleach and it like finally died but it took a while and then we flung it into the woods BYE BUGGY

I'm planning to have it launched within a year! I'm hoping for summer 2025. I want to make a prelaunch page before Time and Time Again ends so people can subscribe if they're interested, but I'm worried the series return would be too early...
