seriously can catastrophes stop happening for five minutes my brain is already fried from the ones we're already experiencing
#I fucking. missed d&d tonight by accident#I straight up forgot#and just didn't show up to the session#my sleep schedule is absolutely fucked#I should be sleeping now but brain won't shut up#my creative output is the lowest it's ever been and I've been in some level of depressive funk since like early january#I am just deeply unfathomably exhausted#like mentally and spiritually#all the time#my memory and sense of time are both shit#my spelling is worse than it used to be for some reason??#I really don't know what to do to make my brain start functioning again it's frankly worrying me#I couldn't even handle college so it should come as no surprise that I'm reacting poorly to the world being a perpetual screaming trash fir#and yet#idk it's been hitting again lately that I have never succeeded at anything in my life and just keep tripping and falling up for some reason#fucking everyone is in hell right now and with my overall success rate I should be dead in a ditch but I'm actually doing spectacularly#due to a series of improbable accidents and weird circumstances that happened to turn out in my favor instead of completely fucking me#aside from the looming spectre of my various failed attempts to have some kind of life trajectory#it just doesn't feel like this can keep up forever#like surely at some point the luck has got to run out I can't just keep living like some kind of folkloric trickster archetype#but my motivation and sense of purpose kind of died after the last failed attempt so I'm still just here#doing whatever this is#maybe I should drive out to the coast#maybe staring at the ocean would fix me I've been away from it for too long#I mean it can't make me worse#I should wait until further into summer though so I don't have to drive back in the dark#everyone around here has trucks with those goddamn LED headlights and I've got a little sedan that's directly in their blast zone

Ya know. Wild that I got so many replies from people correcting / trying to correct things that were super minor or didn't matter on the vmd blog
BUT NO ONE POINTED OUT THAT I HAD THREE SEPARATE TAGS FOR つばきP!!!! anyway that's fixed now bc they put all their motions on their booth account to "avoid careless downloads" and it made me realize i missed a few. So the queue is very full again.
Also, my smoke detector started doing the low battery chirp wednesday morning. Unfortunately, the ceilings here are about 8 feet high? I think? so there's like no way in hell I can get to it on my own.
The leasing office has a service request system that specifically lists "low battery smoke detector" as an option (bc ALL the ceilings are high, and i know a good number of elderly people live here).. STILL HAVEN'T HAD ANYONE COME OUT AND FIX IT YET.
IM BEING DRAMATIC BUT MY APARTMENT IS VERY SMALL AND ECHO-Y BC OF THE CEILING THING AND IT'S VERY LOUD AND I AM LOOSING MY MIND.
Anyway, assuming I don't end up dead from a smoke detector related casualty, I'll have something to post very soon.

Roxy finding one of such tanks and suddenly it's her life's purpose to get this thing up and running again.

fun fact i learned about merlin through tumblr posts on instagram when i was like 13 and fully thought they were canonically gay for years until i finally got netflix and got around to watching it a couple years ago to realise oh no they're not actually gay and being severely disappointed, THEN getting to those episodes in s1 and realising no they are Actually Gay, then proceeded to be absolutely blown away by the shit quality and fucking loving it. also i just never finished the last couple episodes so no he is not dead thank you <3

Tbh despite getting canceled and having to cram its story into twelve episodes and not making good on a lot of things that were planned or probably should've happened earlier I actually don't think Gotham really declines in quality
The feeling of the atmosphere changes over time, sometimes by design, other times by changing hands, but I don't think it declines in quality
I kind of 🧍 think a lot of the writing was pretty bad/silly to begin with, it doesn't really get Worse

Literally s2 but here's the thing#That was a rly dumb plot point it might as well be like that#Idk I think apart from what fish was up to the dollmaker stuff was much worse than strange#EXCEPT THE SCENES WITH STRANGE WHERE THEY TRY TO BLAST YOUR EYEBALLS OUT THAT'S P. BAD#But whatever they did to the like third guy who voiced BTAS scarecrow was like. Stupid + some of the worst cgi I've ever seen on tv#Admittedly that has nothing to do with the writing though I'm just thinking#But like idk the show is pure junk food and it hates women from beginning to end.
