Oggi sarebbe stato il turno del caffè di Pasquetta dalla foresta 🌳 di Yosemite, ma diciamo che un incidente di percorso (all’epoca) ha reso impraticabile parte del soggiorno. Allora ce ne andiamo fuori porta nel deserto 🌵 del Mojave, Nevada, tra gli eccessi kitsch di Las Vegas! Di giorno puoi fare ben poco, se non stare a mollo in una delle millemila piscine di Wet ‘n Wild, c’è pure quella con l’onda anomala e la vasca per imparare a fare surf, o il Lazy River da guadare acciambellati dentro un copertone giallo. Poi, col calare delle tenebre, tra i tanti hotel mirabolanti (quando ci sono stata io il Bellagio era fresco di inaugurazione) ti perdi nella pacchianeria del diorama con la tigre 🐅 albina siberiana in cattività (povera creatura, più che paura faceva una tristezza ☹️) o nello scenario inverosimile del Caesar’s Palace. Io alloggiavo al The Golden Nugget, ho un ottimo ricordo dei letti 🛏 queen size e del barman che mi chiede se avessi 18 anni (ne avevo solo dieci di più, in fin dei conti...) prima di servirmi da bere 😊😊. Dove prendiamo il caffè ☕️ dell’Angelo, tra una slots 🎰 ed una mano di black jack ? Suggerisco di non avere grandi aspettative, perché a Vegas se esci di pomeriggio sei uno sfigatone, ma la terrazza del Treasure Island non è niente male😊.
