Underestimate me, that’ll be fun.
Resident Sage Carter came to the neighborhood of West Highland about six months ago. She’s currently 30 years old and was born in New Orleans, Luisiana. She makes a living by working as an actress and singer with Bold Talent Agency. Her neighbors often compare her to Dove Cameron, but she doesn’t see it.
ABOUT THEM.
Sage was born on June 3, making her a Gemini, according to the chart.
She’s been described as inquisitive, flirtatious, and creative. She’s also been noted to be anxious, impulsive, and indecisive.
Her dream growing up was to be a ballet dancer.
Sage is double jointed. She can contort her body in all different ways, something she’s done ever since she was young.
Sage is a twin. She’s the oldest twin by a whopping five minutes. Something she never lets her sister forget.
Two of their favorite ways to relax are by drinking a glass of red wine, some Mary Jane and a good book. She also loves to do hot yoga and listen to music.
Two bad habits she has are that she never shuts the kitchen cabinets, and she has a terrible habit of never folding her laundry.
She can be found on all social media by the handle @moonchildx
A RUMOR FLOATING AROUND ABOUT THEM IS….
She was the reason her husband died in the car crash.
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.
There’s no truth to that rumor. Yes, Sage was driving but the car that crashed into them was being driven by a drunk driver.

She’s a little bit of heaven with a wild side.
Resident Autumn Prescott came to the neighborhood of West Highland about nine years ago. She's currently 34 years old and was born in Denver, Colorado. She makes a living by owning Salem Vibes, a bakery. Her neighbors often compare her to Danielle Campbell, but she doesn't see it.
ABOUT THEM.
Autumn was born on December 25, making her a Capricorn, according to the chart.
She's been described as helpful, loving, and adventurous. She's also been noted to be stubborn, perfectionist, and blunt.
Her dream growing up was to be a librarian.
She's a certified Scuba Diver. It was just something she wanted to get ever since she was young.
Autumn loves Disney so much that she has an annual pass to the parks to visit once a year. The specific reason is because Disney was the place that helped Autumn get over a traumatic event.
Two of their favorite ways to relax are by watching true crime documentaries and attending paint and sip events with her best friends.
Two bad habits she has are that she always checks social media and she collects stuff.
She can be found on all social media by the handle @thexhalloweenxqueen
A RUMOR FLOATING AROUND ABOUT THEM IS....
The rumor is that Autumn is stealing recipes from other businesses. They say she goes to other bakeries trying out different items then going back to her bakery and making her versions of the same item.
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.
The rumor is 100% false. Autumn DOES not steal recipes. She might see inspiration from her competitors but she would never steal. She does her research and gets ideas from her childhood and wherever she sees in her travels.

Urban Design Concept of the Day
Streetcar suburbs
The Streetcar suburb is a form of transit oriented development where a neighborhood is oriented around a Streetcar stop. They grew to prominence between the 1880s and 1920s during the height of streetcars in north america. Drspite the removal of streetcars they havr still thrived as urban neighborhoods even today as a result of of how they differ from modern suburbs by being denser, having mixed use zoning and being more Walkable making them a healthier, more environmentally friendly form of the suburb. Examples of Streetcar suburbs can be found in Louisville with the Highlands, West Philly, Shaker Heights in Cleveland, Somerville in Boston, and West Hollywood in LA

Recently read: Thanksgiving long weekend reading round-up time! Heading into the clear the to-be-read shelf phase of the year, so the next few round-ups will probably be an interesting mix of things.
The Indifferent Stars Above by Daniel James Brown is a harrowing look at the experiences of the Donner Party during their fateful trip out west. Despite the latter half of the book being pure nightmare fuel, the audiobook’s narration is pretty soothing in the first half and the descriptions of life on the prairie were very evocative. Would recommend if you’re interested in Donner Party stuff! (★★★★★)
Candace Camp’s back catalogue continues to delight me. Treasured was a fun marriage-of-convenience romp in the Scottish Highlands with a bonus treasure hunt. Belatedly annoyed at myself for only picking up the first and third in the trilogy while at the thrift store for reasons that don’t make sense to me now. (★★★)
Hello, I would like to rave about Kamila Knows Best by Farah Heron!!! I didn’t realize this was an Emma retelling when I picked it up and I almost put it aside once I did, but I’m so glad I didn’t. I adored this book and the characters, as well as Heron exploring Kamila’s people pleasing nature through the lens of anxiety and self-esteem issues. The romance was wonderful. Gah. Can’t wait to read Heron’s YA debut in a few months. (★★★★)
Alisha Rai’s Partners in Crime was a lot of fun! Vegas diamond caper with a second chance romance. Not as steamy as some of her other books, but the romance was a delight. There was just a little something missing to take it from a four to a five-star read. (★★★★)
I’m not sure where I stand with While No One Is Watching by Alyssa Cole. It starts as a thriller/mystery about gentrification of a Brooklyn neighborhood and then zigzags over to a hollow romance for a bit before exploding into action horror at the final third. I loved the concept, but a lot of it was pretty heavy handed in regards to messaging and the antagonists were cartoonishly evil at the end. It was an easy and gripping read, but the abrupt, kinda shoulder shrugging ending didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the book. (★★.75)

How do you feel about MARTA’s plan to redesign train stations (starting w/ Indian Creek, College Park, Five Points, Lenox, Arts Center, H.E. Holmes, & Airport) and to purchase new rail cars? Apparently it is being funded by DeKalb County’s penny sales tax. I appreciate that back in 2021 they did a “You Ride, You Decide” vote on what the new rail cars should look like, but personally I’m kind of nostalgic for the 90’s and I am really in love with the way that the stations look today. Especially Decatur…. Thoughts?
When it comes to MARTA’s revamp, like you, I’m on the side of nostalgia. I think the old rail cars look SO much better that the new ones to come. Having said that though, they’re old, worn out and definitely need to be replaced. As far as the rail stations go, I don’t feel like any of them need much more than a slight facelift and should remain the way they are (especially Decatur Station). There’s an old building facade at the bottom level of Five Points Station that shouldn’t be touched. It’s all that’s left of a pre-Civil War era building that was at street level before the city was burned. I say leave all the stations the way they are and use that money to expand the rail line. Not outward to the suburbs; maybe something easy to west through north Atlanta/ Midtown.
It seems like the theme for Atlanta’s growth is “out with the old and in with the new” … all to make way for million dollar townhomes. Brand new isn’t always better. The Beltline Trail was and is a great idea, and right along with it has come commercial opportunity and urban renewal. Neither of these, however seem to bring affordable housing. I don’t even recognize half of the Old Fourth Ward or Poncey Highland neighborhoods anymore. Murder Kroger no longer feels murdery. They even moved The Masquerade downtown. The Masquerade belongs on North Avenue in that historic excelsior mill where I saw so many great bands back in the 90s. Next they’ll move The Claremont Lounge to the Marriott Marquis.

Top Benefits of Upgrading to an Insulated Garage Door
Introduction:
If you’re considering a garage door upgrade, an insulated garage door might be the perfect choice. Insulated doors offer more than just a fresh look—they can improve energy efficiency, reduce noise, and even add value to your home. At AZ Garage Door NJ, we’re here to walk you through the benefits of making the switch to an insulated garage door.
1. Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings:
Insulated garage doors help regulate the temperature inside your garage, which can lead to lower energy bills. In colder months, they keep warmth inside, and in the summer, they help prevent the hot outdoor air from entering. If you have a room above or next to the garage, an insulated door can reduce heat transfer, keeping your entire home more comfortable and energy-efficient.
2. Enhanced Durability:
Insulated garage doors are built with multiple layers, making them stronger and more resistant to damage than single-layer doors. The added insulation provides extra support, reducing the chance of dents, cracks, and other common issues. This durability means less frequent repairs and a longer lifespan, saving you money in the long run.
3. Reduced Noise:
If you live in a busy neighborhood or have an attached garage, an insulated door can help reduce noise. The insulation acts as a sound barrier, blocking outside noise and making the door quieter when it opens and closes. This feature is particularly beneficial for homeowners with living spaces next to or above the garage.
4. Increased Home Value:
An insulated garage door can be an attractive feature for potential buyers, adding value to your property. Not only does it enhance curb appeal with its solid, stylish look, but it also offers practical benefits that appeal to eco-conscious buyers. If you’re planning to sell your home in the future, an insulated garage door can be a worthwhile investment.
5. Improved Safety and Security:
The additional layers of insulation make these doors thicker and harder to break into, adding an extra layer of security to your home. Plus, insulated doors are less prone to warping and malfunctions, ensuring they operate smoothly and securely for years to come.
Conclusion:
Upgrading to an insulated garage door offers a range of benefits that go beyond appearance. From energy efficiency and reduced noise to increased security and home value, an insulated door is a smart investment that enhances the comfort, safety, and appeal of your home. At AZ Garage Door NJ, we provide high-quality insulated garage doors and professional installation to help you enjoy these benefits.

Revenge is a dish, best served cold.
Resident Skyler Montgomery came to the neighborhood of West Highland about three years ago. She’s currently 45 years old and was born in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. She makes a living by being a 9-1-1 operator for the Denver Police Department. Her neighbor’s often compare her to Jennifer Love Hewitt, but she doesn’t see it.
ABOUT THEM.
Skyler was born on July 31, making her a Leo, according to the chart.
She’s been described as open-minded, bubbly, and caring. She’s also been noted to be compulsive, defensive, and gossipy.
Her dream growing up was to be a youth counselor.
Skyler was a result of a one night stand. But this wasn’t like normal one night stands, her parents actually fell in love and they stayed together. She only just recently found this out during a drunken night with her mother.
When she was younger she was put into a bunch of beauty pagents much like Jonbenet Ramsey. She did not like it, because she felt like a prize to be won, but she did it to appease her mother, but as she got older she enjoyed the spotlight.
Two of their favorite ways to relax are by listening to true crime podcasts and drinking wine with her sister.
Two bad habits she has are digging their nails into their legs when nervous and biting the inside of their cheek when they are anxious.
She can be found on all social media by the handle @nquesoemergency
A RUMOR FLOATING AROUND ABOUT THEM IS….
There is a rumor going around that Skyler killed her abusive ex husband three years ago while still living in TN and felt the state to Colorado to start a new life.
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.
Yes, she actual did kill her abusive husband. She was the reason the rumor came out, Skyler over shares when she is drunk and comfortable with people that she is around.

She has a huge collection of horror movies. Some that aren’t being made anymore. She is a huge collector.
Two of their favorite ways to relax are by binge-watching horror movies or by reading a good book by her fireplace.
Two bad habits she has are that she bites her fingernails and smokes.
She can be found on all social media by the handle @sassyNclassy
A RUMOR FLOATING AROUND ABOUT THEM IS....
She came to Denver not to start over and find her place in this world. But to get away from her family and their drama. Her parent’s constant fighting and affairs.
THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.
It’s a mixture of yes and no, she wanted to start over, but her family was a small part. Her parent’s fighting and their many affairs drove her away. So the answer would be yes and no.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? First, the best piece of advice that I have ever received was to get baptized on Sunday February 15th, 2015 at Fort McKinley United Methodist Church located on 3721 West Siebenthaler Avenue Dayton, Ohio 45406. My AA Sponsor helped me to get baptized right along with Pastor Jon Morgan, who was the Pastor at Fort McKinley United Methodist Church during a 12 year stint. My Pastor made sure that I would get baptized because I officially repented of all of my sins to God & Jesus Christ & to everyone worldwide on that day because it was-18 degrees below zero and God was with me. Second, I was advised to remain in the Toledo, Ohio Area in order to graduate from the University of Toledo on Saturday June 12, 1993 & On Saturday June 17, 1995. I was thinking about moving back to Dayton, Ohio because my house; 126 Rosalind Place Toledo, Ohio 43602 was deliberately set on fire. I had lost everything that I have in the fire. Therefore, I had to move to another house 4 miles away from Cherry Street in Toledo, Ohio. I was working 3 jobs , and I was attending The University of Toledo on a full-time basis. I was working at the University of Toledo William Carlson Library from December of 1992 through June 15, 1996. I was working at the Jerusalem Outreach Center located on 445 Dorr Street for a total of 3 years. I also worked at the University of Toledo William Savage Hall as an Usher from December 1, 1991 through June 15, 1996. I also worked temporarily at the University of Toledo Bookstore for 3 years. My Landlords house was inside of an excellent neighborhood. The House was located on 526 Highland Avenue off of Collingwood Boulevard in the Toledo Ohio Area. My Landlord's Family members allowed me to stay at the house until I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies & Social Work. Two years earlier, I graduated with my Assistant Degree in Applied Sciences in the Social Services Technology Profession from the University of Toledo County and Technical College at Scott Park. The reason why I had to attend a Community and Technical College because I had a 1.1 Grade Point Average in High School at the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday June 10, 1986 at the Dayton Memorial Hall at 7:00pm through 9:30PM. The Memorial Hall was right across the street from Patterson Cooperative High School on Second Street and Sinclaire Avenue in Downtown Dayton, Ohio. Afterwards, I walked to the Bus Stop on West Third & Main Street to catch the bus with my Cap and Gown on from the High School Graduation. On that day, I was the oldest student to graduate from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School In History. I was 20 years old when I earned my High School Diploma. The following year, I attended Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio for only 2 years. I moved out of my Great House to the YMCA for 3 years. I enlisted in the United States Marines Corps on January 21, 1988. I didn't stay very long because I wanted to finish College. Third, and Finally, I got into a fist fight with one of my Friends because he wanted me to finish high school. I did exactly what he told me to do by earning my High School Diploma for him and myself. My friend passed away on March 21, 2016. His name was Eric Hill. I told his family members that if it wasn't for him, and God, I couldn't do nothing. Thank You Eric Hill , and God, & Jesus Christ for my Success Today. Thank you for reading my essay today 🙏.
