📓 all I love songs n lyrics associated w ocs !!
The questions
OK SO- >:D
I tried to find songs that are only related to one of the characters but that would be boring and what you did, describing what you see when listening to the songs was way more fun to look through so here we go!
Saint Bernard by Lincoln - The Dragon Revived going on about his death and the owner~
Спова by Ferry - Skyler and Henryk's dynamic
KT's official Guide to Coolness by Ferry - Skyler who just like KT (the brown haired girl in the MV) is trying really hard to fit in this whole new world (The Advena City) that unravels before him ✨️
Angel with a shotgun by The Cab - Violet Sky (as in, Tom X Skyler) either of them could be the one singing but it matches the plot more when it's Sky!
Rät by Penelope Scott - Henryk, about Advena's higher ups, mostly about Matylda
Freaks by Surf Curse - Tom being sick of his exile out of The Advena City
Like A Dog by Ferry - The reason for the mains' (especially Skyler's) fear of Snails (spoilers :) )
Ain't it fun by Paramore - Camille finding the outside of Advena's walls, where they're out of their siblings guard, more fun than the Advena City itself
Faulty Feline Philosophy by Ferry (again) - The Cat Revived (aka Karo's Revived). Just in general, throughout their life after death. (Ik I don't usually talk much about her-)
Blood // Water by grandson - The Dragon Revived to Weronika Strzelec (Matylda's mother) (and in case ur asking, yes, I'm litterally Polishing the entire Strzelec family-)
Skrzydlate Ręce by Enej - Tom wishing he had a revived or basically any kind of power and then him actually getting it by the end
Summer nights by SIAMES - Karo and Charlotte making the best they can out of their time in Advena
Boy in the Bubble by Alec Benjamin - Raphael in S3 accidentally going against his morals :) (spoilers)
Open up your eyes by Emily Blunt and Daniel Ingram (I think?) - Matylda as she visits Karo at the beginning of S4 when Advenians finally get a reason to imprison her. She comes to offer a deal to break her out... and some life lessons.
Aaand those are the most accurate ones where I don't have to pretend like half of the lyrics are something else to fit the story 🙃👍

turns out im unable of collecting my thoughts properly so im just gonna do this as a ramble
about abyssmare and the latest story released in d4dj english
and this. the chapter titles. a countdown.
and what is in each chapter? the other abyssmare members’ first meetings with neo
and how they came to join the unit
and neo tells them what do you see. you only see me. or you see the world that’s the same.
like yeah we talk about the neo and sophia codependency but it’s all of them.
sophia doesnt want to live anymore but then ends up dedicating her life, herself to neo.
elsie had her life laid out for her, she has never even thought about going against that. the thought of going against father’s wishes was unimaginable. until neo came along. and it chenged her.
weronika was reigning as the queen in her own world. unbeatable champion. until neo took that title away from her and now all she wants is to defeat her.
they all revolve around her. neo neo neo. their god the savior their ruler the center of it all.
everything about abyssmare hinges upon the fact that neo is perfect and unbeatable. this is the world they all live in including neo. this is their abyss.
and when neo breaks. it all falls apart. everything.
because they havent had any kind of actual support system. and they dont know how to deal with any of this. collapse.
-
theres something to be said about how it is after this that we get to see them in a school environment. how these larger than life figures are now shown outside of their unit. and like regular people. the illusion is broken.
-
i dont really read ahead since the official tls are not too far behind the jp release so i dont know whats next. but i am really excited to see where they are going to go next. as the designated quote unquote antagonist unit and as the mirror to unichørd.
#does any of this make sense idk did i get to the point i originally wanted to make i dont know im jsut throwing it out there now#d4dj#abyssmare#neo d4dj#weronika d4dj#sophia d4dj#elsie d4dj#yall coud have last names you know. that would help a bit.#didnt edit or reread this. no brain capacity and also its not like it matters

The Vatican MCs
Author's Note: I'm going to do these MCs all in one post 'cause I didn't feel like doing my usual format. Bruh the moodboards get cut off slightly, make sure to click on them/open them in a new tab/whatever you're supposed to say.

Bennett 'Ben' Honeycutt | man + He/him | 22 | Face claim: Paul Simonon | ❤ Ace or Jules
Punk man with a motorcycle, he's cheery and enthusiastic. Ben's loyal to a fault and way too forgiving. No self preservation to be found, he'll dive head long into danger for his clients with little to no plan but somehow walks out with the best result. He spends so long moving around that he doesn't actually have a permanent home. Everything he owns fits in one suit case that he takes everywhere with him. I imagine that at some point before the story he had a cat that he had to give up due to his aforementioned lack of a home. He's a big music snobfan and can talk your ear off about the ins and outs of music.
Makana Raiola-Jamison | Demigirl + She/they | 20 | Face claim: Auli'i Cravalho | ❤ Ezra
Calm, blunt and protective, she's a good person to have as a paranormal investigator. She doesn't rest until her client is satisfied with her work and is relentless in her pursuit. Her goth aesthetic wards off the people she doesn't want to talk to, namely old conservative people. They don't have patience for people like that. They have a pet tarantula named Euchariah and they love him dearly. Yes, that is a reference to something. They do photography in their free time and holds the photos they take close, especially while they travel.
Roksana Kupiec | nonbinary + Fae/they/bun | 26 | Face claim: Weronika Spyrka | ❤ Stevie or Vinny
Fae act professional with faer clients and fae dress the part as well. Fae love faer fashion and you can find fashion magazines in most, if not all, of faer bags. That's not to say that they can't be chaotic and bratty, though. It's just that people don't usually see that side of them. Maybe the boys can help them loosen up a little.... without pissing them off too much in the process. I doubt it. Bun is the most prepared of the bunch, think doomsday level of ready. Shit is stashed everywhere and I feel like bun pulling things out of nowhere would be a running joke of some kind; a little container of salt shoved under the couch, a book with a thousand ways to banish a demon in the kitchen cabinet where you keep cereal.

Investigation - CAS Project
On the 21st of September there was an Open Day to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our school. I was present at this Open Days with my friends Anna Rotko, Eryka Rozmus and Weronika Krężołek and I volunteered at the biology station. Along with my friends we heard that students and parents who attended the Open Days had many different questions about our school. After a meeting with our CAS supervisor we decided that there is a need to prepare a material that would present the different aspects of our school. We started to talk in a group and we agreed on making a leaflet/brochure that would help students interested in our school and their parents to get familiar with the IB, MYP programmes, the values of our school and various activities and trips that make our school unique.

'...Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series
Who will win: Baby Reindeer
Who should win: Baby Reindeer
Baby Reindeer is the frontrunner in the limited series categories this year, and rightly so. This show was chilling, and I can't even accurately describe all the reasons why. You just have to watch it for yourself. Baby Reindeer should be thanking Shōgun for moving to the drama category because it has paved a clear path for this unlikely Netflix series to win some big awards.
Other nominees: Fargo, Lessons in Chemistry, Ripley, and True Detective: Night Country
Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie
Who will win: Andrew Scott (Ripley)
Who should win: Andrew Scott (Ripley)
As a ride-or-die Andrew Scott fan, I am just hoping this is when he finally wins an Emmy Award, and I'll pretend it was for The Priest in Fleabag. His work in Ripley is very good, so I would love to see him recognized with this award, and I think there's a high likelihood it could happen. I think Richard Gadd, who is nominated for his performance in Baby Reindeer, is more likely to win for writing (more on that below), so I'm pulling for Andrew Scott here.
Other nominees: Matt Bomer (Fellow Travelers), Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), Jon Hamm (Fargo), and Tom Hollander (Feud: Capote vs. The Swans)...
Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie
Who will win: Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer)
Who should win: Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer)
Jessica Gunning's work in Baby Reindeer was easily one of the most talked about performances this past year. If you had a friend tell you about this show, then chances are they mentioned how chilling and mesmerizing Jessica was as Martha Scott. I think this is a category Baby Reindeer has locked up, but I really also loved Lily Gladstone, Kali Reis, and Aja Naomi King's performances, too.
Other nominees: Dakota Fanning (Ripley), Lily Gladstone (Under the Bridge), Aja Naomi King (Lessons in Chemistry), Diane Lane (Feud: Capote vs. The Swans), Nava Mau (Baby Reindeer), and Kali Reis (True Detective: Night Country)
Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie
Who will win: Weronika Tofilska ("Episode 4," Baby Reindeer)
Who should win: Weronika Tofilska ("Episode 4," Baby Reindeer)
The fourth episode of Baby Reindeer is easily one of the most chilling and wild hours of TV I watched this year. In fact, every time I've talked to someone about the show, it usually includes them saying, "OMG, Episode 4!" So, it's no surprise that Weronika Tofilska was nominated for directing this episode, and it should equally be no surprise that she's the clear frontrunner to win the category.
Other nominees: Noah Hawley ("The Tragedy of the Commons," Fargo), Gus Van Sant ("Pilot," Feud: Capote vs. The Swans), Millicent Shelton ("Poirot," Lessons in Chemistry), Steven Zaillian (Ripley), and Issa López (True Detective: Night Country)
Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie
Who will win: Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer)
Who should win: Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer)
As I mentioned above, even if he doesn't win in his acting category, Richard Gadd will likely leave a winner following the 2024 Emmy Awards. There is no Baby Reindeer without Richard, and I think the most poignant way for this chapter to close is with an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. The show was adapted from his one-man autobiographical show, and I think what made the show work so well is how well Richard penned all seven episodes.
Other nominees: Charlie Brooker ("Joan Is Awful," Black Mirror), Noah Hawley ("The Tragedy of the Commons," Fargo), Ron Nyswaner ("You're Wonderful," Fellow Travelers), Steven Zaillian (Ripley), and Issa López ("Part 6," True Detective: Night Country)...'

Queer Books for Pride Month:
"Hurt/Comfort" by Weronika Łodyga
This time around, I bring you something by a Polish author.
"Hurt/Comfort" is a sweet and heartwarming, young adults novel, that touches on many differnt issues. It shows, quite frankly, the reality of growing up in Poland.
It talks about struggling with mental health and shows, that being quiet and reserved isn't a bad thing, that needs to be changed.
Artur and Janek find comfort in each other and help each other with navigating life.
There's also this one particular fragment, that makes me immensely happy, as a history nerd, but I digress.
The story is really beautiful, sweet and on many occasions funny. And I'll leave figuring the rest out to you, dear reader.

Opening this weekend:
Love Lies Bleeding--It certainly does, along with a fair number of corpses, before this New Mexico noir has run its course. It's 1989--the Berlin Wall is coming down on TV in the background--and our heroine Lou (Kristen Stewart), a lonely employee at a low-rent desert gym, spends her days unclogging toilets and stonewalling FBI agents who would like to talk to her about her estranged arms-dealer dad.
Lou falls hard for Jackie (Katy O'Brian), a beautiful feral bodybuilder who's in training for a competition in Vegas. Jackie moves in with Lou, but as you might guess, all does not go smoothly. Jealousy, domestic violence, gang violence, PEDs and the rage to which they give rise all intrude on this sweet romance and lead to gruesome murder and desperate cover-ups.
Stewart and O'Brian are both believable, and their passion for each other is exhilarating, even as you see the collision course with disaster that they're on. Ed Harris is at his creepiest as Lou's Dad, but Dave Franco wins the award for most odious as J.J., Lou's brother-in-law who abuses her hapless sister Beth (Jena Malone). Anna Baryshnikov is wistful as Daisy, who has the bad luck to have a crush on Lou.
The director is Rose Glass, the Brit behind Saint Maud, working from a script she wrote with Weronika Tofilska. As with Saint Maud, Glass is adept at blending the horrific with the ecstatic and the erotic, and her style, abetted by Ben Fordesman's queasy fluorescent cinematography, shifts comfortably from bleak British nastiness to gritty, lurid '80s-style southwestern nastiness. While the story gets a bit chaotically close to running off the rails in the homestretch, Glass even manages a surreal, magical-realist flourish near the end that feels right.
Arthur the King--This isn't a new version of Malory or T. H. White or Camelot. The title character here is a scruffy third-world street mongrel of such dignified bearing that he's given the royal moniker by his new best friend. Said friend is Mike (Mark Wahlberg), an "adventure racer" who impulsively feeds the dog a meatball during a break in a grueling event in the Dominican Republic, after which the mutt shadows Mike's four-person team as they run, bike, free-climb, zip-line and kayak across hundreds of miles of jungle. He even steers them away from peril.
Directed by Simon Cellan Jones, this is based on the 2017 book Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home, by Mikael Lindnord. The script, by Michael Brandt, is fictionalized; Lindnord is a Swede, not an American; he met Arthur in Ecuador, not the Dominican Republic, and Wahlberg's teammates in the movie (Simu Liu, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ali Suliman) are likewise made-up.
More strikingly, the real-life circumstances of Arthur's adoption may have been more ambiguous: an Ecuadoran man later claimed that Arthur, originally named Barbuncho, belonged to him, and that Lindnord had essentially dognapped him. Many hardcore dog lovers, of course, will be unlikely to feel much sympathy for the owner of a "pet" who's at liberty to join a dangerous cross-country race.
In any case, Arthur the King is an unembarrassed and pretty effective hybrid of the venerable band-of-misfits, last-chance-for-glory underdog sports movie with an old-school "I think he's trying to tell us something" dog picture. It's admirably attuned to the plight of strays; there's a hint of reproach, probably unintentional, in the contrast between Arthur's struggles to survive on the streets and Mike's self-imposed travails in his rather bougie, corporate-sponsored sport.
Ultimately, though, the movie is really no less corny than any Rin-Tin-Tin or Lassie flick. But it's well-paced, and if, like me, you're a sucker for dogs there's a good chance you'll enjoy it. Wahlberg is agreeable as the boyishly earnest Mike, but neither he nor any other member of the human cast is a match for Ukai, who plays Arthur, and steals the movie like it was a meatball.

CAS PROJECT
GENERAL IDEA Our general idea was to create an event for kids at Ronald Mc'Donalds Foundation with scientific experiments. We thought that it would be a great idea for kids to forget about hospital for a few hours.
creating a group
Our main idea was to create a group of people who are already volunteers in foundation due to the fact that they already know what are they doing. We talked about this idea and decided that we like it and we agree on it.
final idea
We decided that we will make an event with experiments for kids. We agreed that all kids that can exit the wards will be welcome and we want to make it for a quite big scale. We also decided that the half of a conference room in the hospital would be ideal for our needs.
REFLECTION
During this process we started to notice that right know we have a long path to finishing our project. We need to decided about details of the events which will create it.
2. DECIDING PROCESS
sharing our idea with foundations coordinators
Our next step was to talk to coordinators about our idea and wait for their permission. After discussion with them they agreed and it was the next step for us to succeeding in our project.
experiments - ideas
Nów we needed to talk about details and decide how many experiments we want to do and what are they, so we wrote down several ideas and we voted for one we like the most.
decorations
We wanted to make the conference room look good for our event, so we started talking about the vibe we want to achieve and how we will do it. We also talked about music we want to play and lighting.
communication
We were communicating with each other on our massager group and we were slowly deciding our tasks.
REFLECTION
I think that this process was the hardest, because there is 11 of us and we all have our own ideas and different visions. So, it is hard to make everyone happy and satisfied.
3. ACTION
practice
In order to make everything perfect, we were visiting hospital and playing with kids to make ourselves comfortable with them. We asked kids what they find interesting and what do they wan to see during our event.
decorations
We started creating decorations quite early because we new that it will be extremely time consuming. We did an entrance for kids which will make them feel on another planet. We created a lot of decorations for walls which consisted of fishies, words and scientific connected objects.
equipment
At this time we slowly started to do lists for equipment we will need during our project. Next questions like who will pay for all of this have appeared. This was another challange, however we managed to do it in as cheap way as possible, but with a good outcome. We also tried to use stuff we could find in the magazine.
room plan
We did a room plan and it turned out that there will be three different typed of experiments, coloring station and face painting. We draw a plan to make it easier to create in the conference room.
experiments
We decided that our experiments will be: slime, cars, magic balloons, face painting and coloring station
tickets and posters
Our member, Zuzia did a poster to print out for our event however it turned out that the poster needs to fit in foundations criteria, so we changed it a bit and printed it out in A4 format as well as the tickets which will be given to kids as an entrance ticket. On the other side of them there will be a permission which will need to be signed by a parent.
final roles
MANAGER: Julia K.
EXPERIMENT 1 (slime): Patrycja, Marysia
EXPERIMENT 2 (magic balloons): FIlip, Julia S.
EXPERIMENT 3 (cars): Francesca, Kacper
FACE PAINTING: Zuzia, Weronika, Zosia
4. CHALLANGES - reflection
Our biggest challange wa remembering that we are making event at a hospital and not everything is permitted. Some kids have diseases which can cause allergies and make them feel bad. So, we needed permission from doctors to do that. We also were extreme careful with kids because we knew that something bad might happen. We also noticed that due to the fact that our event is pubic we cannot play music, base firstly you need to pay a fee for it otherwise there is expensive ticket you need to pay. I think that organizing such an event is a extremely thoughtful experience. Bemuse you need to start thinking about things which are behind the curtains and which are not visible for an audience. You also need to remember that your are responsible for it and if anything happens it will be on you.
5. FINAL PROJECT
Or project will take place on 2nd June from 2:00pm - 4:00pm in conference room in the hospital.

Production proposal pt.2
Production proposal - Romeo and Juliet Romeo sits down on his couch opposite Julia. They begin to discuss her journey, Julia talks about her sobriety, whereas Romeo focuses on the journey they went through ‘together’. Julia begins to bring up the topic of Paris, her love interest. The camera moves to Romeo, whose features intensify. There is a close up on Romeo's new part of wardrobe, a scarf around his neck, who he now begins to fix, almost as if he was playing with it, grinning slightly. Romeo starts to strongly suggest Paris should no longer be in Julia's life, saying he is a bad influence on Julia. She begins to defend him in a polite manner. The conversation begins to intensify, Romeo suggests Paris should be dead to her, whether she wants it or not, moving away from the topic of Paris, he once again talks about Julia and him. Julia becomes clearly more and more uncomfortable. Romeo stands up and fixes the cup of tea, turning it, so the exquisite floral pattern faces him. Audience can hear each sound, from the squeaky turning of the cup on the plate, to Julia’s nervous heavy breathing. Romeo jumps into a monologue in which it becomes clear he has killed Paris and his real feelings towards Julia and the relationship he was sure of with her. Julia jumps to defence, upset about Paris' death, denies ever suggesting any sort of relationship or flirtation with her psychiatrist. Romeo's voice overshadows Julia, she is now a faint whisper and shortly we just see her mouth moving yet no sound coming out. We are now in the brain of Romeo. He has never seen Julia as a person, partner, he saw her as an object belonging to him, an object of admiration. Him having a couch to sit on, suggesting the freedom and power he seems to pose, Julia squeezed into the beautiful but clearly uncomfortable armchair. Romeo fixing a small detail like a floral pattern on a teacup to face him, putting her in a grand chair, valuing beauty over comfort, it is almost as if he was setting up his model for a painting. The intense monologue of Romeo has taken over audience's hearing and visuals, we just see his face and mimics change with each word, to really see into the mind of Romeo. We start to move away as the sound intensifies, there is a short high pitch sound and we begin to hear Julia's heavy breathing in the background. Camera turns to her as she now lays on the couch. We've been tricked along with Julia. Romeo's mundane, almost abruptly polite manner of always offering Julia tea, was a cover for slowly poisoning Julia, not only killing her, but slowing down her recovery from addiction. Romeo positions himself walking away and to the couch a couple times, as if he was trying to see what one would see when they walk into the office. It was not a precaution, a safety measure, it was simply for the aesthetically pleasing visual he was already imagining. Romeo lays himself along Julia and shares a passionate kiss with the young unciouns girl. As the camera moves away we hear the voice of narrator, now dead Romeo, closing by speaking full of delusion: “A glooming peace this morning with it brings; The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head. Go hence to have more talk of these sad things; Some shall be pardoned, and some punished. For never was a story of more woe Than this of Juliet and her Romeo. “ Authors (group project): Karolina Kuczmarska, Emilie Livingstone, Weronika Majos, Nella Żórawska, Klara Mikina
