“I don’t want to do it, Enid,” Wednesday hisses through gritted teeth, casting a cold look at the blonde in front of her.

“It was my turn last year! Can’t you do me this favor just this once?” Enid responds, her tone a mix of sweetness and desperation, her eyes pleading with her roommate.

I decide to look away, letting my attention wander around the room’s decor. I had just arrived at Nevermore Academy, and the headmistress had assured me that someone would show me around. But it seems she had asked the wrong people.

I was born with two powers: super hearing and the ability to read minds. The latter I try to avoid as much as possible; it feels like invading people’s privacy. But with super hearing, there’s no way to turn it off. All I can do is try to distract myself by focusing on something that captures my attention.

One of the main reasons I avoid using my powers is the discomfort of hearing what people think and say about you. Discovering what others are hiding can be devastating, and...

Oh, look. There’s a hand walking by itself.

I raise an eyebrow in confusion, but a slight smile escapes me at the unusual sight.

“Is something amusing you?” Wednesday Addams asks with a hint of venom in her voice. I look up, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment as her dark eyes lock onto mine with a chilling intensity.

Her body is rigid, her posture upright, and her head held high with an unshakable pride.

As soon as I meet her gaze, a strange sensation crosses my mind. Then, a phrase materializes in my thoughts: I don’t like this girl. The feeling of discomfort replaces my initial embarrassment.

Enough, Y/N, I think to myself. Stop reading thoughts.

“Sorry, she’s just like that...” Enid interjects with a nervous smile, shooting a sidelong glance at her friend.

“No, it’s fine,” I quickly reply, trying to mask my discomfort as I set my suitcase on the floor.

Wednesday huffs with a hint of annoyance and gracefully walks over to her desk. She grabs the bag that was on the chair and, before leaving the room, gives me one last look that makes me wish I could disappear. Then, without a word, she steps out of Ophelia Hall.

“I think you should follow her,” Enid suggests with a small smile.

I give her a small wave, almost as a thank you, and hurry to exit, trying to keep up with the small but surprisingly fast Wednesday Addams.

Wednesday walks ahead of me, her steps light but purposeful, as I try to match her pace. She doesn’t look back or check if I’m following, but her silence is a clear signal that she expects me to keep up.

Wednesday stops in front of a large wrought-iron gate that leads to a circular outdoor space. In the center stands an old and somewhat eerie fountain, with five paths branching off in different directions, forming a sort of pentagon.

“Welcome to the Pentagram,” she says in her usual flat, unenthusiastic tone. “This is the heart of Nevermore Academy. From here, you can access all the main areas of the school... and encounter the different ‘categories’ of students.”

I stop beside her, observing the area. There’s a strange energy in the air, as if something darker lurks beneath the seemingly tranquil surroundings.

Wednesday turns slowly to face me, her dark eyes boring into mine with an intensity that makes it hard to look away. “Here at Nevermore, we’re not all the same,” she explains, gesturing vaguely towards the paths around the fountain. “There are vampires, of course. They’re not as charming as in the movies, but they consider themselves quite superior.”

She indicates one of the paths with a slight nod of her head. “Then there are werewolves... Enid is an example. Unlike vampires, at least werewolves have a sense of loyalty, though their pack mentality can be... irritating.”

Continuing, she shifts her gaze to another path. “Mermaids,” she says, with a note of slight disdain in her voice. “They’re natural manipulators. They can control minds with their voices, but they’re very appearance-conscious. Never trust a mermaid. They have a talent for deception.”

She takes a brief pause and then gestures towards another corner of the courtyard. “And then there are the Gorgons. Not exactly Medusas, but if they look you in the eye without their special glasses, you turn to stone. Literally.”

I watch her closely, trying to discern if there’s a hint of irony in her tone, but her face remains impassive.

“Finally, there are those who don’t fit into any specific category,” she concludes, looking up at the dark sky above us. “The anomalies. People like me.”

“What do you mean by ‘anomalies’?” I ask, intrigued.

Wednesday stops and turns to face me, her black eyes shining with an intensity that makes it difficult to look away. “Anomalies,” she begins, “are people who don’t fit into the predefined groups of Nevermore. They don’t fall into common categories like vampires, werewolves, or mermaids. They are... different in ways that our classification can’t always explain.”

She looks at me with an expression that suggests how little she understands my curiosity. “They are individuals who possess unusual abilities or characteristics that defy the usual labels. Some may have strange powers, while others simply don’t conform to expectations.”

Her words leave me with a sense of wonder and a touch of unease. “So, students who don’t belong to any of the main groups are considered anomalies?”

“Exactly,” Wednesday confirms.

I remain silent for a moment, reflecting on what she has said. “Then I suppose I belong to this group.”

Wednesday gazes at me with attentive eyes. There’s a subtle shift in her expression, as if my question has finally piqued her interest. “What powers do you have?” she asks, her voice softer, almost interrogative.

My heart beats a little faster. I’ve never liked talking about my powers, but I can’t avoid this conversation. “I can... hear thoughts. And I have super hearing. Though I try to avoid using telepathy, out of respect for others’ privacy.”

As soon as I say this, I notice a slight stiffening in Wednesday’s shoulders. Instinctively and somewhat awkwardly, she raises her hands, bringing them near her head as if to build an invisible barrier around her mind for protection. The gesture is oddly endearing, a contrast to her usual unflappable demeanor.

“Are you reading my thoughts right now?” she asks, with a calm exterior, but her guard is clearly up.

“No!” I reply quickly, also raising my hands as if to demonstrate my innocence. “I never do it intentionally... unless it’s an emergency. I really do respect other people’s boundaries.”

Wednesday watches me for a long moment, scrutinizing every detail of my face as if trying to decide whether to trust my answer. Then, slowly, she lowers her hands, although she still seems cautious.

“It’s... an annoying power,” she comments finally. “It’s not very common here. Nevermore students tend to be very protective of their secrets.”

I lower my gaze, feeling embarrassed. “I know. That’s why I try not to use it.”

Wednesday gives a small nod of approval and, without adding anything else, turns and begins walking towards one of the paths in the Pentagram. After a few steps, she stops and looks back at me.

“Are you going to stand there staring all day, or do you plan on following me?” she asks in her flat tone. “The tour isn’t over.”

I take a deep breath and hurry to follow her. It seems that Nevermore still has many secrets to reveal... and Wednesday has no intention of slowing down for anyone.

Wednesday continues to lead me through the corridors of Nevermore, passing by groups of students chatting or hurrying to their destinations. She doesn’t seem to notice anyone around her, walking with a decisive and assured stride, expecting me to follow without question.

After navigating various narrow passages and dark staircases, we finally arrive at a pair of imposing dark wooden doors. Wednesday opens them without hesitation, revealing a vast hall filled with towering shelves brimming with books that seem as ancient as the school itself. The soft light adds an almost mystical touch to the environment.

“This is Nevermore's library,” Wednesday says in her usual flat tone. “A place many students use as an excuse for making out in hidden corridors or, worse, for reading poorly-written romance novels.”

I can’t help but smile slightly. “That’s not really my genre,” I reply, admiring the massive collection of books. “I prefer something more... stimulating. Like mystery or horror.”

Wednesday stops abruptly and turns toward me, with a slightly curious expression. Her dark eyes scrutinize me as if trying to determine whether I’m serious or just trying to impress her.

“Interesting,” she murmurs with a faint smile.

She gestures for me to follow as she makes her way through the library and heads toward the exit.

“So,” she begins in a measured tone, “if you prefer mystery and horror, who are your favorite authors? I hope you don’t just name the usual clichés.”

I sense that she’s testing me, seeing if I truly have an authentic knowledge of those genres. I think for a moment and then answer confidently. “Shirley Jackson, for example. Few manage to capture the hidden horror in everyday banality like she does.”

For a moment, I see something change in Wednesday’s expression. It’s uncommon to see her surprised, but it seems that the name I just mentioned has struck a chord with her. Her lips curl slightly into a barely perceptible smile.

“Shirley Jackson,” she repeats, as if savoring the name. “Finally, someone with good taste. We Have Always Lived in the Castle is a masterpiece of unease and despair.”

I can’t help but feel a bit satisfied for having passed her test. Wednesday continues to observe me for a few more seconds, then turns and resumes walking. Although she doesn’t say anything, there’s a new dynamic between us, a sort of mutual respect that wasn’t there before.

“Follow me,” she says finally. “There’s still much more to see.”

Wednesday continues to lead me through the school with her determined stride, guiding me down a long corridor that leads outside. We cross the courtyard and head toward a separate building, surrounded by climbing plants and well-tended shrubs.

“This is the greenhouse,” Wednesday says as we open the glass door. Inside, the greenhouse is a tangle of exotic plants, some with an unsettling appearance, with flowers in unnatural colors and leaves that seem to move on their own. “Here, the rarest and most poisonous plants are cultivated. Mortality biology, as I prefer to call it.”

As we observe a plant with leaves that shift slightly as we pass, Wednesday turns to me. “The greenhouse is managed by Professor Thornhill. Many people like to spend time here, but only a few truly understand the lethal potential of what grows here.”

I nod, a little intrigued and a little unsettled. The air is thick with intense scents, some sweet, others sharp, but all decidedly... strange.

Wednesday doesn’t linger longer than necessary. “Let’s go,” she says, quickly exiting as if the greenhouse is just one of many stops of the day.

After a few minutes of walking in silence, we arrive at the Nevermore gymnasium. We enter, and the atmosphere changes dramatically. The room is vast and well-lit, with walls adorned with ancient swords and shields, and fencing equipment neatly arranged. Some students are engaged in intense fencing sessions, maneuvering their swords with extraordinary skill, while others are working out with exercises that combine agility and strength in almost supernatural ways.

“The gym,” Wednesday says with a tone that reveals her disinterest. “Here many seek to refine their combat and fencing skills. It’s a place of competition and discipline. Personally, I prefer to exercise the mind rather than the body. However, if you like the idea of facing others in duels and tests of strength, this is the place.”

I watch the students training fervently, their swords glinting under the fluorescent lights, and the fluid and precise movements of their techniques. It seems like a dynamic and competitive environment, very different from the other areas of the school.

Wednesday continues to walk, passing by the ongoing training. “It’s not my ideal environment, but every corner of Nevermore has its purpose,” she adds, casting a distracted glance at the room. “Don’t worry if it doesn’t seem like your kind of place. Many students feel at home here, but there are others who prefer different spaces to express their abilities.”

Although this part of the school is vibrant and full of energy, it’s not the kind of place where I would feel comfortable. But, as Wednesday says, every place has its role, and Nevermore seems to have a spot for every type of person.

Wednesday gestures for me to follow her again, and we head toward another room. As we enter, the smell of food immediately hits us. The large space is crowded with students talking among themselves as they line up to get food or sit at long tables.

“The cafeteria,” Wednesday comments, observing the environment with an almost disgusted air. “Where the common people eat and socialize. If you’re lucky, you might find a quiet corner. But don’t expect much in terms of culinary quality.”

I can’t help but chuckle at her comment. The chaotic atmosphere of the cafeteria makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, but at least it’s warmer compared to the greenhouse and gym.

“We won’t stay here,” Wednesday says quickly, leading me out again. We move toward a quieter, more serene part of the school.

Wednesday guides me down the corridors of Nevermore, her pace steady and unyielding. “So, you’ve seen almost everything,” she says, breaking a silence that had only been interrupted by our footsteps. “If you have any other questions, now’s the time.”

Taking advantage of her openness, I ask, “I’ve noticed that everyone wears the purple uniform except for you. Why?”

Wednesday raises an eyebrow and gives me a scrutinizing look. “The purple uniforms are standard for all students at Nevermore. They represent a sense of belonging and uniformity. However, my black attire is a personal choice.”

Her answer seems a bit cryptic, so I continue probing. “But is there a specific reason you wear black? It’s not a rule, is it?”

Wednesday smiles slightly, an expression that could be interpreted as a kind of personal satisfaction. “Black is a manifestation of my style and preferences. It’s not so much a rebellion against norms as it is a statement of individuality.”

“I see,” I say, reflecting on her comment. “So it’s a conscious choice that reflects your personality.”

“Exactly,” Wednesday replies with a tone suggesting that the conversation might be closing there.

“Do you know where your room is?” Wednesday asks, raising her gaze with an impatient question.

I raise an eyebrow and reply with a subtle smile, “It’s practically yours.”

Wednesday looks at me with intensity, as if evaluating my answer. “I know, but I have to go somewhere else, and I’m not sure if you know how to get there.”

“I can find it,” I say calmly. “Thanks for the tour.”

As I look at her, I notice her eyes fixate on me with a penetrating intensity. I take a moment to observe her closely. Her figure is petite and slender, but she exudes a presence that fills the space around her. Her black hair is neatly styled in two braids that fall down her back. Her pale face is dotted with subtle freckles that seem to peek timidly above her nose and on her cheeks. These small details add an unexpected dimension to her austere beauty.

Her dark eyes are like two deep wells reflecting an eerie light, and her thin, well-groomed eyebrows accentuate her detached expression. She wears the black school uniform, which fits perfectly with her elegant figure and stern demeanor. Her movements are fluid and measured, imparting an aura of control and authority.

In her mind, I catch the thought: I don’t know if she’s reading, but this girl is really interesting. My cheeks involuntarily flush.

Wednesday, noticing my embarrassment, tilts her head slightly to the side and adds with a faint smile, She’s cute when she blushes

I try to look away and calm the redness on my face, feeling a mix of embarrassment and curiosity. “Again, thanks for the tour,” I say, trying to keep my composure.

Wednesday gives a nod of approval and resumes walking, leaving me with thoughts about her words and the impression of how Nevermore can be both fascinating and enigmatic.

Murf's Top 50 Mods - Part 3 (2020 - 2023 Edition)

I made a Top 50 list (Pt 1 and Pt2) back in 2016, talking about mods that I've used & love. But with all the goated content that the amazing TS3 community continues to churn out, I NEEDED to update my list! This one in no way diminishes or negates the other mods I've already listed--like, I shouldn't have to sit here and explain how NRAAS continues to carry TS3 on its freaking shoulders, ok. This is just MORE mods, the Top 50 most RECENT ones I've tried out since, like, quarantine.

I am a VERY niche simmer--I love fantasy gameplay, so my fave mods are the ones that not only offer general quality of life improvements, but also add new abilities and interactive objects inspired by different cultures, time periods, or genres. So y'all already KNOW which ones have earned my top spots. They're not based on which mods are "better," just which ones I personally have been using the most.

1: Smooth Patch, LazyDuchess

I've already gushed about this mod, but oh well. Like--I use an EFFTON of CC. My Live Mode gameplay itself doesn't tend to lag so much as my game's slow to LOAD, slow to save, CAS is a nightmare, I can do my taxes waiting for the Misc Decor section to open, etc etc. But the Smooth Patch loads everything so much quicker for me! 😭

One thing is that on the EA App version (curse you, EA) the Master Controller package didn't work on my end, so I took it out, but everything else has been great!

2: Search Mod, LazyDuchess

Speaking of the Misc Decor section -- HOW LONG did we ask EA for a Search function y'all? Only to be ignored. Then the second TS4 is released, it ain't got a effing thing in it, but it's got a Search function??? 🤔 ISTG it's like the simgurus were told to take all of the TS3 community's best suggestions, and poach them for TS4 (like vampire coffins--NO I'm not over it!). WHY do modders have to do your frikkin job for you, EA?! I call EA lazy all the time cuz EA you suck, so it's the most ironic thing ever that LazyDuchess is out here KILLING IT.

My ONLY "complaint" about the Search mod is the position of the icon. I use A LOT of Collection Files, and I noticed that the Search icon actually covers the Delete button when in the Collection viewer. So I can't delete items in collections with the Search icon in the way.

But this is a MINOR nitpick--I almost never delete items, it's just something I noticed is all.

3 - 8: OCCULT MODS: EVERYTHING by @puddingface1902

Y'all already know the Enhanced Witches mod is my favorite mod ever made. But PF1902 also made cool enhancements to the Fairies, Genies, Vampires, Werewolves, and Mermaids too! My sims are usually Nraas hybrids (e.g.: Sakura is a faery, witch & plantsim; Magnus Bane is a witch & genie; etc.), so it's FANTASTIC having so many new abilities for my magical occults. 😍

9 - 11: OCCULT MODS by xantak22

Even more occult mods at MTS are for enhanced Plantsims, Ghosts, and Mummies! I was dying for more Plantsim abilities, omg, they're my 3rd fave occult after Witches & Fae.

12: Sim Control Tools by Knight

Sooooo many quality of life mods have come out! ^0^

I've been ABUSING the Teleport To Me function, to quickly get sims off of lots & where I need them to be. It also lets sims unlock more Social/Romantic interactions. (Now all we need is a way to interact with sims from EA's useless thumbnails.)

13 - 18: @anitmb's mods

There are SOOOO many--most I've yet to even try. But so far newer ones I've been using are the Deck of Cards (FINALLY something other than EA's bulky AF poker table!), Farm Mod (look at all these CHICKENS!), and Hunting mod so my 8000 archer sims can actually hunt! (Ofc I've also used the Woodcutter and Anvil mods in my older gameplay posts, too.) And @mspoodle1's edit of the Cup of Tea mod is so pretty.

19: @mspoodle1's Poker table

Another excellent cards mod is this medieval style poker table I use a lot now, too.

20: @omedapixel's Wildflowers DR

I like EA's default wildflowers from SSNS, but Omeda's are just sooooo much nicer. (I haven't gotten around to trying out their Harvestable Plant DR yet.)

21: Swordfighting mod by CyrusBanefort

En garde! This mod is so freaking epic!

One thing I've noticed is that the game lags while it waits for the mod to boot up (a message has to first pop up saying it's running when you first launch your saves). But other than that this mod is excellent.

22 - 24: Yoga rugs

I've long been using the yoga rugs by Kitabalibar and the edited one from @mspoodle1. But now there's the newest one by @twinsimming, with brand new animations & features. The more the merrier I say, LOL. What's especially neat is the kids wobbling around as they try to do yoga! :3

25 - 30: TheSweetSimmer's mods--so cute! :3

Omg so frikkin many, I can't even catch up! The interactions are so freaking precious, like from the More Toddler Interactions (cuddle, look at, etc) & Biggest Little Mod (hug legs), I've never had so much fun playing with kids! <3 And I LOVE that they can Catch Butterflies and Pick Flowers--you'd think plantsim children would be able to do this by default, EA! Honestly, just grab everything by TSS, your kid sims will thank you!

31 - 33: @spheresims Medieval/Nature/Tribal mods

Y'all know I'm crazy about the Functional Fireplaces mod (the cauldrons, baby! 😈), but the One with Nature and Wildlife Hunting mods are great too, perfectly complimenting the off-the-grid realness.

34: @olomayasims/Cmomoney Smoking Mod Overhaul

The original smoking mod was on my first Top 50 list, so it's awesome seeing it get new upgrades, interactions & animations.

I've never smoked IRL, but sooooo many of my sims just puff-puff away; I'm such an enabler. U_U Now all we need is cigars and pipes!

35 - 38: Callia-Evergreen/Camkitty's CAS CC for animal hybrids at MTS

Not a "mod" per se, but whatever--my list my rules! I love ALL of their CC, but I get SO MUCH use out of animal-themed CC like the digitigrade sliders, wolf feet, lizard tails, and fae wings. Do check them out if you like to play with horror and monster-sims!

39: @greenplumbboblover's Sheep

EASILY one of the most incredible mods I've ever seen. Like....HOW? (Once @omedapixel's Goats are done I'm gonna start screaming someone do llamas pleeeeeaaaaase!!!)

40: Arsil's musical instruments mod

I used the sax most recently in my IWTV gameplay, and it was excellent, perfect for the NOLA vibes! However, although I use the flute A LOT more (for my Untamed gameplay--it's been such a GODSEND!), I really wish the hands were positioned better, preferably using the poses from Chisims' flute poseset. (But I don't eff with poses/animations, otherwise I'd do it myself. U_U) Ah well, it's still one of my fave mods though.

41 - 42: Flower Arranging mod by zoe22 + @mspoodle1's Florist Collection

Guys, I've been wanting this mod since FOREVER! ^0^ (I swear, the best thing about TS4 is all the 4t3 conversions, LMAO!) I just wish Teens could Dabble and use it, too--all they can do is stock the table.

43: Just Sit/Nap Anywhere by FloTheory

Sometimes you just want sims to fall asleep anywhere, DANG, EA!

44: @sweetdevil-sims' Toddler Food DR

Cuz EA's food is UUUUUUUUGLY~! I kept forgetting to install it, only to be rudely reminded every time I had to look at my toddler sims eating MUD.

45 - 46: @mspoodle1's mail pen quill DR and @omedapixel's pencil quill DR

I looooove quill pens IRL (ballpoint pens, not the fountain pens--I'm way too messy), so having mods that let my sims use them too is 👌

47: Fireflies Enhanced! by Canibal_MLO

I love anything that enhances the wildlife and collectibles/harvestables to be more dynamic and interactive. And I was JUST about to do a firefly catching scene for my IWTV insp. gameplay, so this came right on time! The falling leaves effect is delightful, but I kinda wish it was falling flower petals instead, cuz ofc I do. 🌸

48: Unicorn Aurora DR by Canibal_MLO

GORGEOUS. This mod replaces the unicorn mist with northern lights, like.... I love the genius ideas simmers have.

49: Custom Plumbbob Color tool by CrossTheMersey

What a neat idea! Although the default Maxis colors are ingrained in my psyche, with the iconic green plumbbob, as soon as I saw this mod I knew I wanted to at least try something different and play around with it.

50: @aa6x7's Teru Teru Bozu + other edits [Honorable Mention]

I rave about Cmomoney's Time/Weather Mod all the time, I use it constantly. AA6x7's Teru Teru Bozu (Japanese "Sunshine Monk" charms) is kinda like a simpler version of it, as it just resets bad weather back to Sunny. But it's such a cute idea and perfect for my gameplay. Plus, AA6x7 makes all kinds of neat edits/mods to EA's bulky AF meshes, so if you haven't checked them out already, DO!

And that's all the mods I've managed to try out recently!

I don't have anywhere near the kind of free time that I used to, so my simming has been put on the backburner and I've missed all kinds of cool and exciting releases. But trust: I am taking note, so that I know what to try once I have time.

Piggybacking off your last ask: thoughts on a monster AU for the cast? :0 It's canon it's a magic universe and there's witches/dragons at the very least, I wonder if werewolves or mermaids exist as well!

Oh my gosh yes! I love this!! I love supernatural or like monster AUs!! I had my friend help me imagine some too- so Hayden, Balor, Reina and Valen all have her ideas as well :3

Adeline: I think given her status- she'd be a dragon hybrid. Maybe not fully dragon but she definitely would have the scales and maybe horns and a tail.

Eiland: Piggybacking off of Adeline. This man is a dragon. Through and through. Not one single character screams thier monster more than Eiland screams Dragon. Balor: Vampire. Enough said. If you've ever played Balder's Gate 3? Astarion types of Vampire. Or, a trickster fae who likes to make deals with people. Celine: I love her so much and I can not decide if she would be like a fairy, or a mermaid. Im leaning toward fairy more than mermaid for the soul fact that she would be like Thumbelina and also she could sleep in flowers. Hayden: Mans is the Minotaur. Look at him, then look at the Minotaur and tell me I'm wrong. You can't. Ryis: This man is a dryad. Made of wood and likes to attract creatures. He would be so happy to be a tree and have birds sit on him and be so happy. Reina: I can not decide what she would be. I think in this fantasy world she's the bar maid who sends people one quests and takes no shit. She could be anything and also nothing. March: He is a werewolf. He would be the same way in his human form as he usually is- but his wolf form? They would love you so much, like good luck getting up from his big paws. You have to cuddle with him during the full moon and he is so happy about it. Valen: Vampire. I mean- c'mon. Doctor? Blood? She'd be all about it.

OKAY BUT Y'ALL. I'm genuinely curious. About the Monster Falls au. Fyi this post is going to be me throwing crap at the walls to see what sticks.

When it comes to Monster Falls...why has no one ever suggested a Harpy or Werecat for Mabel?? I feel like these monsters also fit our Mabes. Now the question for Werecat Mabel- is her body like that of a faun or a tuar?

I mostly agree with the main cast's monsters (erm Deer-per is precious??) aside from Mabel even if Merm/Unicorn her is cool

Also Wendy is usually a werefox but I feel that a werewolf also fits (especially considering how hairy werewolves are. Who else is hairy? Oh yeah! The Corduroy men)

According to the GF au wiki Soos is a clay golem. It works! I think we can still get creative with this! He could be a slime or alien (I'm picturing Toy Story lmao. "You saved my life dudes, I'm eternally grateful") or robot or faun or really any monster lol. I suppose he's of Mexican descent and therefore could be a Mexican creature! Maybe HE'S the unicorn because he's pure of heart...🥺 He could also still be a human super hyped that his friends are now monsters. What we think y'all I'm stumped.

Again going by the wiki Pacifica is either a gorgon or unicorn. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE IDEA OF GORGON PACIFICA I just wanted to propose a nymph as an idea. Do I want gorgon or nymph...

"Old Man McGucket is usually a scarecrow, warlock or a demon." - GF AU wiki. Ehh idk about these. Maybe McGucket is the slime? A cow creature or smth? A Kill Billy? Oh, he's a Kill Billy I found it! EUREKA!!

Now that I'm thinking about it Gravity Falls/Journal 3 specific monsters could be included in the ideas. Soos is another Abominable Broman haha.

Gideon is said to be a vampire, which just makes sense (bloodsucker lmao). I purpose an alternative: gnome.

Once again according to GF wiki Candy is a kappa. I say no. It's a cute idea but I'm also iffy about it considering the fact that Candy is of Korean/Chinese descent and a kappa is from Japanese folklore. That's not to say species/monsters can't cross nationality/ethnic boundaries, I'm just saying why not a Korean or Chinese monster? For example a g/kumiho (Korean) or qilin/kirin (Chinese/Korean)!

It also says Melody is a Harpy. Approved. She can apparently also be a ghost which is fine but Harpy Melody is adorable thx. I suppose maybe she's the mermaid of the bunch but now I'm team harpy

Is Tad Strange still a human? Or a piece of bread? IS HE THE SQUARE VERSION PEOPLE THEORIZED ABOUT

💡 - How did you come to create this oc and what were you inspired by?

I really wanted a monster oc in Spooky Month.

Winifred was originally supposed to be a siren/mermaid with a passive-aggressive personality! Though, the colours I was choosing was too close to another character of mine (Felix), so I altered the green-blue to a bright-blue instead, which created a winter look to her.

Randomly, I was thinking about cranes so I thought to give her black. I couldn't decide between that or pale hair so technically, Winifred canonically has both (hidden in lore).

I went "okay" and continued with that energy. I have always loved the "white hair + blue outfit" combination. Off in the back of my mind, I wanted to keep the "monster" aspect to her... then I realised: oh, Spooky Month has plenty of characters dressing up as eastern yokai*, so there should be more eastern yokai characters in general!

*i say eastern yokai specifically because (depending on your definition of yokai) in the western culture, yokai would include creatures like vampires, leprechauns, fairies, werewolves, etc.

So, I went around to see what I can do with that idea. I was set on making Winifred a kitsune but I don't think I liked my ideas for it. It did however, set a key characteristic for her though: closed eyes. Anyways, I went around again for any particular ideas. Characters that are based off of the futakuchi-onna are a sweet spot of mine (like the pokemon, Mawile!) so I ended the hunt there.

Winifred was born and her personality has dulled down to something more secretive. Her design did end up more simplified to match the Spooky Month style but I'm thinking about redesigning her a little bit.

Oh, and I always loved characters with coloured eyelashes.

It's really sweet how they keep accommodating each other until they find a way to be together. And Steve getting all hot and bothered over French kisses is so fucking cute, oh my god, I love him. Definitely go and read this one, it's so much fun!

I hope you check this one out, because it's wonderful!

Welcome to Earth

P’tonia sat there, shocked. She learned from Perlas, who was very patient with her, that this planet is called Earth, and the “main” race living here are called humans.

“But you said you’re a mer…mermaid?” P’tonia asked, confused.

“Yes,” Perlas nodded. She smiled apologetically, “I didn’t mean to confuse you, Tonya. I’m not human, I’m a mermaid. Though physically, I look like a human.”

And speaking of mermaids, P’tonia learned that there are other…peculiar…races that Earth breathes. Perlas called them occults, and she learned that besides merfolk, there are also werewolves – a race similar to wolves and dogs, an animal. P’tonia doesn’t know what they look like, but Perlas tried to fill in an image where a human with a snout and with fur.

The princess also learned that there are vampires, a race that feeds from blood, to which P’tonia shivered. She cannot imagine a person drinking her blood. There are spellcasters as well, and they bore “magic”, some human otherworldly power that was believed to be gifted by the Watcher, the human deity.

“Would that make you a spellcaster, Perlas?” P’tonia asked. “You used magic on me, so does that mean you are one?”

“No, I am a mermaid. The magic I bear is different from spellcasters. They practice other types of magic; I practice the ocean’s power,” Perlas explained. “If I were a spellcaster, the magic I would have used on you would make you able to speak the universal tongue, but what we are speaking right now is native to Sulani.”

“There are other languages?!” P’tonia exclaimed. “How exciting! I must learn them!”

“Yes,” Perlas chuckled. “In time. Maybe if you encounter tourists, you’ll learn them.”

“Tourists?”

“Sulani is famous to foreigners. They stay here for a short period of time to relax and enjoy what the islands could offer,” Perlas explained. “We welcome them as long as they respect our home.”

“Then I can’t wait to meet them!”

“Calm down, Tonya,” Perlas laughed. “I don’t think they’ll be welcoming when they see you.”

“Wha…what?” P’tonia furrowed her eyebrows.

“Humans are not aware of the occults,” Perlas clarified, “a long time ago, they were, but something…happened. Now, they forgot we existed. We are mostly in hiding, disguising ourselves, blending in. The people of Sulani know I am of merfolk, and they do their best to keep it a secret. You are an alien, Tonya. I don’t know what will happen if they learn about you. Scientists might get a hold of you – study you, hurt you. We don’t want that, do we?”

She was silent for a moment, taking it all in. P’tonia is familiar with a scientist’s curiosity. She’d seen countless times her fellow peers, who were the designated scientists of the Ach’ska Memoir, doing experiments on creatures and things they’ve taken in. She imagined that she would be on the shoes of these creatures, and she knows it’s not going to be a pleasant experience.

“So I must disguise myself as a human…” P’tonia mumbled.

Perlas nodded, “But how do we do that?”

P’tonia snapped her fingers. “Oh, it’s easy. We, Galateans, have this bodily function where we are able to “camouflage” when we feel danger is near. It’s helpful when exploring uncharted planets with hostile creatures or race. I just need to see more of…you as a consensus!”

“That is a convenient ability, Tonya. Why don’t we go down the village now?”

“But what about the tourists?” P’tonia asked, worried.

“Don’t worry, I’m a tourist guide. I know a path that can hide you from them. Let’s meet some of my friends.”

And so, P’tonia and Perlas rode a boat to one of the islands. The princess dipped her hands on the water as Perlas guided the boat to a path she knows no tourists will take. The air is different; it’s crisp and it feels healthy.

When they reached the shore, Perlas guided her to a…house. It is made of a material…which her tongue supplied the word, wood. She touched it gently. Her home uses metal, but wood? Odd.

“This is…”

Perlas introduced her to her friend. They talked for a while, relaying what the mermaid had discovered.

“An alien…” the friend said, “That big ball of fire from last night…that’s them? They’re here because…?”

“I want to reach a consensus on how I can disguise myself properly,” P’tonia stepped in, explaining, “I don’t think I can go home immediately, with my shuttle broken and battered in the ocean, so I might be living here for a while…and I don’t want, uhm, attention with how I look…”

“You do look different…Wait! Are you going to steal my identity – my skin?!”

Perlas tried to calm her friend, “I don’t think – ”

“No, no, please! I would never do that! My people do not do that!” P’tonia cried.

Sighing in relief, the friend let P’tonia and Perlas stay for a while. After that, the mermaid guided the alien princess to another local. They did that the whole morning, introducing her to the Sulani people, before Perlas led her to a hut.

“Welcome to my humble abode.”

“You have a lovely home, Perlas,” P’tonia noted.

“Thank you,” Perlas took a seat, and so did the princess. “So, what now?”

“Now…” P’tonia took a deep breath, “Do you have a room or something that I could use to practice my camouflage? I’m usually shy when doing this in front of others…”

“You can go inside that door,” Perlas motioned the door behind her. “That is my bedroom. Take the time you need!”

Perlas took a moment to observe her.

“How do I look?” P’tonia asked her shyly.

“Like a human, Tonya!” Perlas gleefully smiled. “Very well done!”

“Thank you!” the princess smiled. She dropped her smile when her stomach growled.

Perlas, with a chuckle, motioned for her to take a seat. “Sit down. I’ll make you food.”

P’tonia was glad she’s not allergic nor felt poisoned from Earth food. It would be a shame if she did because they taste wonderful!

“Where will you stay? You can stay here in my home if you like.”

“Oh no,” P’tonia shook her head. “You’ve been welcoming already. I think I’m going to be staying at that shipwreck. It’s closer to the crash…even if my shuttle is in the ocean.”

“Alright then,” Perlas nodded, standing up. “I’ll walk you back. Even if you look like a human already, your clothes are…”

P’tonia stood up as she looked at her clothes. “Is it strange?”

“Well, in this place, it’s not but…” Perlas hummed, “Anyway, you can borrow some – ”

“No, no, it’s alright! Maybe the shipwreck has something!”

“Okay, I’ll help you look!”

“Look what I found!” P’tonia jumped out the bedroom of the shipwreck.

“You look great, Tonya,” Perlas nodded. “Now, more human than before! That necklace looks beautiful as well. Where did you get it?”

“It is actually mine,” P’tonia said, touching it. “From Mother. It breathes the same way I do. I am lucky it wasn’t lost nor broken when I swam ashore. I was apparently lying on it when I drifted to the beach.”

Perlas smiled. “How do you find your time here?”

“Lovely, Perlas. Very.” P’tonia sighed. “Thank you for showing me around. I’m not sure how I’ll be able to go home, but I’m glad I washed up here.”

The mermaid smiled. “It’s getting late; I must get home. I’ll come back tomorrow. If anything happens, you know the way, right?”

P’tonia nodded.

Home is far away from here, and P’tonia, for the first time since she crashed here, felt lonely. She sighed. At least it’s not an empty planet; being stuck in one would make her insane. Earth has people and creatures, and she’s lucky she met a merfolk – an occult; something…someone like her: foreign.

P’tonia gazed at the starry sky. Before, she would be able to travel to and fro, between planets and systems, and now…

Instead, she tried to identify which star is which. Eyes growing heavy, she hummed a Galatean lullaby, putting herself to sleep. Her dreams were filled with her memories of her homeworld.

Hello again, Creampuffs!

In honor of the 10 year anniversary, this blog will be hosting Carmilla Week 2024 leading up to the anniversary of Season 1 premiering! You have a bit over a month to complete any prompts you'd like (Hopefully, all of them!) and should upload any submissions here with the tag #carmillaweek2024 so we can see all of your amazing fanworks! Anything goes so long as it relates to the theme and any questions are welcome! That and posting on the day the theme is scheduled for.

Day 1- Orientation Day (August 13)

Welcome, everyone to Carmilla Week! Orientation is underway where you can explore different clubs at Silas University! Check in with Danny and the Summer Society as they do their morning runs. Or perhaps you want to party with Kirsch and the Zetas? Speaking of, what’s the Alchemy Club been up to…? Whatever it is, there’s a club for everyone (Unless you’re Laura Hollis… She didn’t make the cut for the Newspaper Club…) Either way, Orientation Day lets you explore any clubs Silas has to offer, including ones you headcanon exist or the ones that do exist. Perhaps Laura did find a club to join or it could explain why Carmilla sneaks off so often.

Day 2- Zombies and Werewolves and Vampires, Oh My! (August 14)

Ignore the evil cabal of vampires running the place, we’re diverse! The captain of the swim team is a mermaid, there’s that rumor the Summers are a werewolf pack, and our gardener is actually a zombie tending to graves and flowers alike! Today is the day where anything goes and you can even explore if LaFontaine is a cyborg or maybe Laura is a fairy. Be creative and explore what supernatural creatures may exist within Silas!

Day 3- Dorm Life (August 15)

Silas University is prestigious and offers only the best of the best! Not counting the lack of knocking and paper-thin walls… In any case, explore what you think dorm life is like on campus! That includes (but not limited to!) trying to pass Professor Cochrane’s class, how out of control a Zeta party can get, or even a slice of life behind closed doors in 307. Have fun!

Day 4- Raining Cats and Dogs (August 16)

We all love Catmilla. Who doesn’t! Take this day to explore all the possibilities. Perhaps one of our beloved cast has found a loving pet? Maybe you want to explore the other vampire’s ability to shapeshift? Just don’t let the Dean catch you with a pet in your room, that can be grounds for expulsion.

Day 5- Road Trip (August 17)

All roads lead to Silas as they say. Laura, Perry, LaFontaine, and Carmilla certainly learned that trying to flee through the Alps! Who’s to say they can’t enjoy a fun road trip though! Laura and Carmilla did go to Paris. Maybe Perry and LaFontaine

Day 6- Life After College (August 18)

All good things come to an end and so do our college years. We got a sneak peek of how the gang lived 5 years after Silas, but what about the before and after? Your imagination is the limit as you can explore Laura’s first job or Carmilla finding a fun way to spend her vampire trust fund. Perhaps the LaFerry Industries had a shaky start? You can even get into Danny’s new life as a vampire working as a vampire’s rights advocate… And maybe something a bit more secret!

Day 7- Anniversary (August 19)

The reason we’re all here. Happy 10th anniversary to Carmilla: The Series! Explore what an anniversary means to you. Maybe you want to explore how Laura and Carmilla celebrate their first anniversary, whether girlfriend-wise or wife-wise. You can dedicate a piece to the show in general.

Skz as Mythical creatures

Bang Chan - Werewolf. There's nothing to question here about this. Man literally gives so much wolf vibes that writers on Tumblr use wolf memes for his smaus. But also werewolves have been used throughout history to provide a sense of wisdom combined with misinterpretation. Wisdom, in the form of living and going through so much in their moon drunk lives. And like is that not Chan?

Lee Minho: A warlock. Warlocks are basically wizards who get their magic from evil sources. They conjure magic called 'blue magic' aka evil magic from shady sources and repay that debt with their own blood. They have been known to help people from time to time but only the people who need it the most, like a raped woman who no one believes. Oh also they are known to have cats as their companions! And they live very secluded lives usually in forests and grow mushrooms. My brain is dying thinking about evil warlock Minho cause my standards are so fucked up

Seo Changbin: A dragon. Listen LISTEN TO ME. I chose a dragon for Changbin, because they have many myths of false appearance. When I first got into skz, I really though our Binnie was the most serious person in this group. But then I saw how those hips moved, and I was like 'oh so he's Barbie and Shakira combined and put into one man'. Dragons are known as fierce creatures who protect the gold that they hoard and destroy villages, but how much of that is true? Mostly they do it to protect themselves and the gold which they have rightfully earned. Also they are extremely loyal and friendly once you understand them and don't harm their loved ones (yes even dragons have loved ones)

Hwang Hyunjin: Selkie. Selkies are basically mermaids, who originate from Scotish folk tales (trust me they are VERY popular here). They turn into seals in water and turn back into human if daylight or moonlight touches them, Aka if they come on land. They are very dual creatures, being pretty and kind to most humans, especially women, but they can also be the most savage beasts when it comes to men who have corrupted for their own pleasure. Their siren songs are very captivating and they are known to make art out of conch shells.

Han Jisung: A shapeshifter. Han Jisung is truly a puzzle. Like man could be intense babygirling one moment and then two seconds later literally kill all of us with wavy hair, sweaty face and those fingers playing the guitar finger kink go brr. Jisung is more fitting to the shapeshifter brand when you realise that the humans who used to be good at doing everything and not crack under intense pressure were awarded this shapeshifting power by the Gods. So yeah our fourth gen ace would definetly be a shapeshifter.

Lee Felix: A fairy. Need I explain anything? Need I even write an entire essay about this? (Already wrote it but fine). He would definitely be a healing fairy. Like he would whip up medicines and hide them in his delicious brownies to trick unwilling children into taking them (MY HEART IS TOO WEAK FOR FELIX HANDING OUT BROWNIES). He would def live in the woods in like a tiny cottage, which is decorated with creepers and vines and soft moss, where he rests his pretty wings, excuse me I need to write something on this.

Kim Seungmin: A nymph. Nymphs are actually more powerful than they are portrayed nowadays. Many of them were sons and daughters of river or tree Gods and they used to possess the quality of being able to fic someone in a trance with their voices. LIKE HELLO? MR KIM SEUNGMIN WITH THAT GOLDEN VOICE? Also they were known to be mischievous, always teasing pixies and fairies and taunting beings older than them. (I am not making this up yet legit used to taunt old trees for being so old and wise because nymphs never used to age or they would age VERY slowly)

Yang Jeongin: A vampire. Alexa play Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo please. I mean dude's literally immortal I'm telling you. He looks LIKE THE SAME PERSON EVEN WHEN HE WAS A CHILD LIKE HOW? If y'all look at me, I look like a completely different person from when I was a kid. And also there's something about our baby bread that just screams vampire vibes. Like he would totally live in a castle all alone, drinking blood and having foxes as pets.

a list of media that I was obsessed with (or still am) and I now know it's because I'm nonhuman (with explanations)

the x-men movies and x-men: evolution- general themes of not being normal/not fitting in with normal humans. wolverine, nightcrawler, rogue, beast, mystique- all beastly/shapeshifter characters that I love. I used to watch one specific episode of x-men: evolution over and over again because there's one part where rogue uses her power on Sabretooth and she gets fangs and claws and its super awesome.

wild kratts- got to see and learn about lots of cool animals!! and ofc they have cool suits that let them change into whatever animal they interact with. in one episode Chris's suit malfunctions and he goes kinda creature mode as a Tasmanian devil (my favorite episode, if you know you know)

wolfblood- the intro slaps major ass- so does all the music actually. werewolves going to high school in England (my dream.) I was IN LOVE with Rhydian, I specifically remember packing up all my art stuff dramatically just like he does when he runs away. also a werewolf getting adopted by vegans is so funny to me. lots of late nights staying up watching and imagining myself running through the woods with them.

teen wolf- a classic in the werewolf community. I never finished it, I found it a bit weird at points, but I definitely liked the transformation scenes.

my babysitter's a vampire- vampires are kinda eh to me but there were other mosters in that show, including werewolves <3

H2O: just add water- 🎶🎵CUZ IM NO ORDINARY GIRL🎵🎶 I genially just love this show. I wish I was a magic mermaid. the cove with the moon and the glowing water was so cool to me. aohr narh! cleaoh!

fairy tail- the first anime i ever watched <3 not my favorite but i still love it. magic system is cool, there's monsters and dragons and flying cats. Natsu is my favorite, he has a super special dragon power and at one point i think he kinda turns half-dragon? idk its been like 6 years since i watched it. this was right around the time i started drawing and making my own characters, so i made my first ever self-insert oc- she was a super bad ass half fox girl that wore chains and spikes and was ofc friends with Natsu.

Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden- my favorite anime, I will never not love it. Naruto has a giant fox spirit sealed in his belly and goes crazy feral wild sometimes and its so awesome. foxes are my favorite animal, and yes I did make a self-insert that was friends with Naruto and also had a piece of the fox spirit sealed in her.

blue exorcist- main character rin finds out hes half demon and son of satan (very cool!) he gets pointy ears and fangs and a tail (!!!) hes treated like a beast and something to be feared when his friends find out but they eventually come to accept him :3

the last unicorn- I have this movie on DVD so I frequently watch it. the OST is absolutly unmatched and the animation is beautiful. the unicorn gets turned into a human and is confused about her identity, which is so me fr. the song "now that im a women" was a huge part of some of my artworks in art school, I used it to talk about my gender identity (it also applies to my nonhuman identity obv)

the curse of the were-rabbit- werewolf but cuter cuz its with bunnies. stop motion transformation scenes are really awesome.

howls moving castle- howl save me. save me howl. turn into a big owl beast and please come save me. I love the sound his big talons make on the tile when he comes back from fighting in the war <3

princes mononoke- literally my first post on this blog was my beautiful wolf mother moro. i wish i was her i wish i was the wolf princess i wish she was my mom plz let me get adopted by giant wolves in a magical forest plz. also my favorite Ghibli movie ever.

luca- this one is recent and oh god. this movie got to me so bad and gets to me every time i watch it. its gay AND nonhuman?? i love those lil Italian fish.

wolf walkers- very obvious choice, but i haven't even seen it yet !!!! its not available on any streaming services i have but I've seen enough clips. also the secret of kells and song of the sea are amazing movies by the same studio and i love everything about them. and we got that banger song (we are running with the wolves tonight.)

sweet tooth- such a good show. half animal people lets go! they are literally hunted down and have to go into hiding, and then theres that super cool group of older teens with the cool masks. i would definitely be apart of them (if i wasn't half animal) ((I totally would be)) cant wait for the last season and im also sad its ending.

Okay but Caleb Covington's Home For Extraordinary Orphans. He's not exactly evil, but after 20-plus years of dealing with everything from mermaids to were-elephants, he is Grumpy.

The Molinas always wanted a big family. Most Werewolves do. Something about a big pack just makes them happy. Not all of them turn, Julie and Victoria don't, but Rose, Ray, and Carlos do. (There have been So Many Arguments in the past about Carlos chewing on Julie's shoes.)

Except Rose found out that after her cancer, she wouldn't be able to have any more kids. They'd been trying for some time but hadn't had any more after Carlos, and now there was no more chance to have any at all. They mourn for a year, before talking it over as a family and deciding that pack is pack and they don't need to be blood related to be family. When Julie is fourteen and Carlos is ten, they finally get approved to adopt.

Victoria goes with them, if only to make sure they don't 'bite off more than they can chew'.

They meet a lot of kids, and just like Victoria expected, they want to take home Everyone. She has to be the voice of reason that no, they do not have a big enough back yard to convert into a lake to adopt that mermaid girl. And adopting Willie, the raccoon shifter, was a terribly unsafe idea because Carlos still hadn't learned to control his chasing-prey instinct. Do they not remember the ordeal with the Henderson's cat?

Eventually, Carlos and Julie come running up to their parents, dragging just about the palest young boy Rose has ever seen.

"Mami, this is Reggie!" Carlos proudly proclaims. "He likes dogs and music and pizza so he has to be our big brother."

Reggie is a sixteen year old vampire who is just grateful he got turned after he was allowed to drive. It's better than being fourteen for the rest of his (after)life, that would be rough. Oh shoot sorry Julie. It gets better, he promises.

Ray and Rose are just so charmed by Reggie and the way he naturally fell into a big brother role for Julie and Carlos that they decide yes, they will adopt a sixteen year old vampire. No they do not care that he won't age. Once he actually matures mentally into adulthood (which vampires do, just a lot slower than than humans) they will help him get emancipated.

Victoria is not there to talk them out of it. Victoria, in fact, is in Caleb's office, getting the paperwork done to adopt Willie.

("What? I said it was dangerous for him to be around Carlos until he gets his prey instinct under control during the full moon. I don't turn, my prey instinct is fine! The only thing I hunt is a good bargain.")

So they take Reggie and Willie home, and things are great. Willie and Reggie were friends at the orphanage, they get together for Family Dinners every Friday except on Full Moons, everything is great. Reggie fits in really well and admits that even before he was turned ten years ago, he didn't have a great family, so having two parents that care about him is really nice.

Except sometimes Reggie acts in a way that can't be attributed to being a vampire, or adopted, or maybe a little traumatised from spending ten years in an orphanage run by a grumpy werepanther. He zones out, and sometimes he talks to himself, or laughs at nothing. Ray and Rose love Reggie, and are fully willing to support their new son and all his quirks (Ray immediately started learning about Star Wars when he realised Reggie was obsessed), but they also want to make sure this isn't anything mental illness related that will hurt him.

So they talk about getting Reggie evaluated, about asking Doctor Turner if she has any recommendations for therapists who specialise in vampirism... But Reggie overhears them.

And then Rose overhears Reggie. Talking to himself in his room again. Except this time it's not under his breath.

"No dude, don't worry about it. I'll just... I'll make something up. I mean, you've always said that I might be autistic, maybe we can just... Nobody's going to find out and send you back, I promise."

Which is of course when Rose pushed open the door before adopting a now Very Familiar Pose to Reggie. The Mom Pose. Hands on her hips, eyebrow raised.

The boy on Reggie's bed slowly started going invisible again, and Rose pointed at him. "Don't you dare!"

He stops fading out of view. He looks to be about Reggie's age.

"Can you just turn invisible, or are you a ghost?" Rose asks. "Because if I find out you've been letting someone go hungry under our roof, Reginald, you are grounded, mister."

"I'm a ghost," the boy in the bed said. "I'm so sorry, it's just that, you were taking Reggie, and your sister was taking Willie, and they're all I have and I just couldn't stay there and I'm so so sorry..."

The more he talks the more solid he looks and Rose is not sure if that's a good thing or not, so she just interrupts him. "Right, we need to call Caleb right now."

"No, don't send him back!" Reggie said. "Send me back instead, please, you'll love Alex, he's great, he's funny and cool and he likes music and pizza too. I mean he can't eat it anymore but-"

"We're not sending anyone back," Rose promises, wrapping Reggie in a hug and hovering a hand near Alex' shoulder. "But we do have to arrange some paperwork so Ray and I don't get brought up on any kidnapping charges, alright?"

The Ultimate Bruh Moment - Music Giant AU Pt. 1

Once Upon A Time, in a far-off kingdom, there was a magical forest that held the most mystical creatures from Mermaids to Vampires to werewolves and, most importantly, giants.

So one day, a young thief named Tommy had gone into these woods to get away from the King's royal guard. You see, the teen had managed to steal one of the princes' crowns, and he was about to get away with it until the captain of the guards, Maximus, had caught him in the act and alerted the rest of his men that the crown had been stolen.

This led Tommy to run all the way into the enchanted forest. Unfortunately, despite the warnings of the forest being filled with creepy crawlies and monsters everywhere, the guards went in after him as well. The male looked behind him as the guards followed swiftly behind him, holding his satchel bag closely to his side so it didn't fly off or anything.

"Retrieve that satchel from him at any costs!" The captain shouted at his men, "Yes, sir!" they all replied in unison as their horses neighed to each other, Tommy internally panicked as he heard the guards' horses start to speed up, they were getting closer and he needed to find a place to hide.

And just his luck! as he was running, he spotted the entrance to a cave it was a pretty big one, too. What a coincidence that it just happened to be nearby, so he sprinted into the cave and hid the guards were about to follow him into the cave until they realized that a creature might be in there so they just went back to the kingdom and would search for him later.

After all, he couldn't hide in there forever. The teen sighed in relief once the guards were gone, taking off his satchel as he looked down at the crown.

"Ugh.. finally alone at last.." he chuckled lightly. Unfortunately, his peace ended up dying pretty quickly because as he took the crown out, the light reflecting off of it seemed to have awoken something from inside the cave he heard a loud groan coming from the depths of the cave followed by a yawn? it was pretty loud, so he heard it from miles inside the cave.

Oh no, did he enter some poor creatures home? oops.. at this point, it was too late to turn back because he heard something shifting, and all of a sudden, as he put the crown back into his bag he looked back up and he was met with two big sleepy looking brown eyes staring down at him.

The human stared up at them in shock for a while, watching as the giant sat up from her little makeshift bed rubbing the sleep away from her eyes and then watching as they lit up in recognition and she gasped in excitement:

"Human!" she exclaimed before instantly grabbing the poor teen and hugging him close to her face.

"Aw! I've never seen one of you before. You're so cute! how can one of you hurt one of us? You're adorable!" she smiled before pulling the human away from her face.

She couldn't wait to show her papa what she had found in her home, Tommy groaned as the young one pressed him against her face this was.. surprising he'd always hear stories from the villagers outside the kingdom of how giants were evil creatures who mindlessly ate people, but this one seemed almost.. friendly.

Then again, she was pretty young she looked about 5? maybe 6? she was pretty tall for her age, though she was at least 50 feet tall, maybe taller, "You're so small!" she said as she poked at him, giggling as Tommy used a finger to block hers.

"Papa's always told me that humans are dangerous.. I thought they were as tall as us, but you're no bigger than a pixie!" She laughed, Tommy laughed nervously.

"Well.. you know us humans, always full of surprises -" he replied before exclaiming in surprise as the giant spun him around in her hands, and then said, "Oh! where are my manners, I'm Tallulah! what's your name?"

He sighed as she stopped before catching his breath, "T-Tommy I-I'm Tommy." he panted, she smiled as he introduced himself. "Oh! I can't wait to show you to my Papa! I wonder what he'll say?" she asked herself, "He says humans are dangerous.. but I think--"

"Tallulah!" Tommy heard a voice exclaim from the entrance of the cave, she gasped.

"Papa!"

Tommy made an 'oof!' noise as she dropped him on the ground before parroting.

"'Papa?'"

There were more of them? oh boy.. this was gonna be a fun ride.
