Though, I do want to mention, there are MANY people who have made genders/flags for specific things all over the internet! Tumblr and Pinterest are the two places I usually find them the most lol. If you just type in a keyword and "xenogender" on pinterest theres TONS of flags on there! And you're ALWAYS free to just make up your own stuff! Nothing has to be found somewhere or known by other's, I've made a few genders for myself because I couldn't find something that described how I thought i felt :D Long intro! Ok, first of all,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

I want to try to explain how my gender feels connected to a werewolf. In other words, I want to share my very valid experiences of how the weregender label applies to me.

When I first started questioning if I was weregender, I had to untangle whether or not my connection to werewolves had to do with me identifying with werewolves out of spite based on past childhood trauma, or if I truly felt a connection to werewolves, a werewolf aesthetic, or the idea of werewolves.

The fact is, I do not feel completely human, and I have a somewhat weak and/or unstable sense of gender. So that makes figuring out my gender a little bit more tricky. I feel like my connection to werewolves has to do with both my neurodivergence and sexuality.

So I am autistic, which means I stim to help regulate my sensory input and emotions. One of my favorite stims is when people play with my hair. In a way I guess this could be considered being pet? Just that kind of sensory input really relaxes me, calms me down, and makes me feel good. Another thing is I have sensory processing disorder, so my sensory input is hypersensitive. This means I have hypersensitive hearing, so it’s easy for me to eavesdrop. And most of the time, I cannot help it. One of the ways I used to stim was by laughing. I would stim verbally by expelling what energy or emotions I had into a laugh. Sometimes, I would daresay that my laugh sounded like a howl. Infact, I spent a lot of time laughing underwater as a swimmer. So my lungs (and laugh) therefore became quite powerful.

Physically, I would choose hair over hairless. Example, I don’t shave my facial hair nor do I shave my leg hair. I feel like this can be somewhat similar to having fur or at least some sort of texture on my body?

Another neurodivergency I have is BPD. I think that bc I have BPD, I can be capable of a certain level of loyalty? I know loyalty is more of a dog thing, however I feel like it’s worth mentioning? If werewolves are more impulsive than loyal, then I am also definitely impulsive as someone w/ BPD? Like I would and have waited on people in the past to come back to me (again that kinda sounds like more of a dog thing). Another thing that I think is worth mentioning, is that BPD is a personality disorder. People with BPD are mentally ill and deserve the help and support they need to recover from a mental illness caused by childhood emotional abuse. This might frighten those who are the faint of heart, but sometimes I do feel like a monster. I do feel like a beast/creature/something that is very difficult to love or something that nobody loves.

The next thing I want to talk about, is time. Werewolves are human for an entire month and then turn on the full moon. So to me, this means that werewolves are generally human, but for a short period of time they turn into a creature, a beast, a nonhuman thing. My first connection to this is my nails. For a short period of time, my nails are sharp, painted, and look good. So basically, I feel like I have claws/talons for a short period of time. And it feels good. The second connection I want to make to this concept of time, is that for a short period of time each month I feel hypersexual. However, sometimes I feel hypersensual. Or hyperplatonic. Nonetheless, I get this rush for a short period of time each month. And this short period of desire or yearning makes me feel different then I normally do.

For example, a person is usually maverique, but during storms they are neutrois.
