why is via rail trying to charge me $7 to choose a different seat than the one they randomly assigned to me. they didnt do this before. ever since they introduced their new booking system, ive been able to go into the Seat Selection Tool and choose any available economy-class seat for free. now suddenly theyre demanding an extra 7 dollars on top of my 80 dollar train ticket. PLUS tax. "oh you didn't want a backward-facing aisle seat? suck it up or give us 7 dollars. fuck you"

i went to sleep early and didn’t even get any rest bc i was having college stress dreams
#i haven’t been in college in years!!!#i was in class. no matter what i did my pencil would not sharpen#i went through like five!! i couldn’t do the assignment!#and then i left class and got lost and was like an hour late to my next class#which i ended up going to my dorm first and ended up in the wrong apartment bc the keycard opened all the doors#and i ended up in my friends instead. and then i looked at my schedule and i hadn’t picked any of these classes#and i had a dance class that i was like no i have to change it#and i had classes at 8 on fri and not again til 6!!!#anyway i finally made it#to class. paul wesley was the prof. it was a class about video games and he didn’t care i was late#finally a break you might think. NO#i was like please let me make up the start of the class and he was like ok i’m going#to this party and teaching the class there so you should come to that#and he was going to give me a ride. in a cool fun dream this would probably be cool#but it’s my dream and so i was stressed out about having to go to a party and then when he picked me up it was with a 3 row suburban#full of ppl!! and there were no seats for me!! so i had to sit on the edge of the middle seat#and i was so stressed the whole drive WHICH NEVER ENDED BTW#that paul wesley was gonna flip the car and i would die bc i didn’t have a seatbelt#anyway. if you read all that i’m sorry for the most boring stress dream ever unfortunately i am a square#and was really stressed about it all ahdjdksk#good morning#i need a text post tag

If anyone was at the Game Grumps Live Show in Dallas last night (if you managed to even get into that shitty overpacked venue), you probably saw me there! I was the Ninja Brian in fishnets who fucked up the rhythm game on stage kabdjwbdh
I promise I’m good at rhythm games!! I swear the buttons or monitor was delayed,,,
#the only reason I had any sort of fun was because we had VIP tickets; GOD it was stupidly hot and overbooked there#Dad and the Grumps were fun; I FULLY blame that venue cause my god that was atrocious#they called two ambulances because people passed out in line and the line was apparently so long it went down 3 blocks….#even as a VIP I was worried soemone would steal our seats (cause they weren’t assigned and there wasn’t enough seating for VIPs) so I made-#sure someone was at our chairs. even then; I couldn’t even see half the stage and I was in the third row :/#again; the show wasn’t bad and everyone was having as much fun as they could with the terrible heat and conditions; it was the venue fault#game grumps live#tournament of gamers#game grumps tournament of gamers#game grumps#prince rambles in this chilies tonight

#my venue didn't have assigned seating so we got there eeeearly to make sure we'd have a good spot#since we didn't have VIP#and there were three of us so we were able to save a spot in the front of that line AND the merch line#im really happy with my miku expo poster i bought :D memorieeees#literally every part of it went so well for me i hope it does for you too#and SEEING MIKU!!!! OMG!!!!! fantastic set list. band was amazing. LOVED the visuals#miku expo#god that was so fucking fun

I love public transport but holy fuck is it hard to use when you’ve not slept properly in a couple days and the motion is lulling you to sleep
#still got twenty minutes on the train then two buses and god. I don’t know if I can stay awake#but I’ve got to get to work#I once fell asleep on the bus into college and I was wearing a jacket the same colour as the seats#and nobody noticed that I was still fast asleep until the driver was almost back at the depot#and I woke up and wandered down to the driver who freaked because he was sure he’d checked for stragglers#I then had to wait to get a lift from another driver to the first stop in the route and get the bus all over again#I missed the first class of the day - double biology - and I was really disappointed because we were meant to be presenting our essays on#the committing the perfect murder#and I never got to present mine#I still got the highest mark in the class for the assignment though

about dinner stuff: i just can't understand why tf Val was sitting next to George, who decided "thats gonna be funny" (i mean they were probably nice and polite and all because Lewis was sitting on the other side of the table, buuuut still)
i mean, obviously this also boggled my mind, but i don't actually believe that these grown adults had assigned seating. i'm sure they sat where they were at least a little comfortable, so either: valtteri has decided to forgive george to forge a civil professional relationship (which is okay; i'll hold the grudge for valtteri), valtteri evaluated the situation and decided being across from lewis was worth the cost, or george was okay with getting a cold shoulder all evening. who am i to judge, i guess.

I want a giant brown bunny... but... but too much!
The only one I found was like $158 USD... it was just about 5 foot tall! It literally was like looking at what I wanted to make but realized I didn't have enough stuffing for!
And one that was like 3 feet tall was $100...
Like yes I know materials and time is money but I can still complain! Why fabric gotta be so much! And so messy! (The ones with faux fur or of the like. Like whyyyyyy!!!!) Also why is cotton and stuffing so much too! And you get enough for maybe only one 2 foot plushie!
(I ran out of tagging space... 30 the limit sadly. But I had more to say but maybe later I'll do a bigger post on that all.)

I like cutting things. and I can do it fast.#hence me having like three hand made plushies in a bag#two that are just hanging out#and a pair of pants.#all from 1 full school year worth of time. though in two different school years. and I also wasn't in the one technically but I had no other#class to be at as there was no room elsewhere and I took a bus so I literally could not just skip the bus either and it was the first class.#so I was lucky enough the teacher liked me and knew I was a good student. so actually minus like a week or two as I did sit outside for tw#twoish weeks before my friend practically forced me into their class without being in it on the records.#yeah I enjoyed it as I was allowed to chill... actually minus like 2 additional weeks from both half years. and maybe another 1 week and#that's about how much sewing I did and got all that done. though if you count back in 2020 I did sew a plushie monkey and a face mask...#then before 2020 I did sew like two small pillows. did a slight bit of embroidery... and then when I was like 8 to maybe 10 I sewed a bird#in sometime withing 8-10 and I may have done other sewing too...#damn. I did a lot of sewing compared to what people probably realize. like I sewed by hand and machine yet only embroidered by hand so far.#I'm not really allowed to use the sewing machines at my house sadly. so I only got to use it at school which honestly wasn't for too much#time as I mostly hand sewed everything with some exceptions...#wait I completely forgot I did all those sewing examples! and I had made a skirt... maybe two? and I had to help others with their stuff too#I already knew roughly how to use a sewing machine and well like two of the other students near me needed a lot of help I tried my best#however I did get frustrated but... I feel sorry for the one person as I wasn't really frustrated at them. I was just stressed and...#I tgink they still passed the class... actually that wasn't the only student I helped. qoth my friend's class I helped him and a few of the#nearby students. mainly because the teacher told them they could try coming to me for anything. also because my friend and I knew#I could help them too. however the one thing that was hard for me to sew was sometimes how to fix the issues they had... then again one had#a broken needle and that thing is hard to see unless you know what to look for because it's so tiny. so I did as best as I could.#sometimes they just needed helped threading honestly and well that's why I got frustrated with the one a few times but honestly I was just#worried about not finishing my own project... then when people used my machine... oh how much that urk me. we were assigned machines btw.#I wasn't too angry but I liked that seat and my box of my stuff was there and I don't really know much Spanish and the person sitting there#was spanish speaking so it was hard to communicate... didn't help that I was having a few if my mental troubles and on top of that an issue#with talking to people in general on my own... no I dunno the full reason why so I'm not making judgement calls.

im really just hoping that everyone is so busy trying to get VIPs that i can at least get like Two Normal Seats . i'm also hoping that this other show doesn't sell out because if everything backfires me and my friend are selling these tix and i'm going alone to the original show i was planning on. either way no way in hell i'm giving up the opportunity to see dan and phil but like... scary scary scary
