"Alright, you're up" he said, as he walked in, his buddy closing the door behind them. As I began to get up, he countered, "no, on your knees", as he unzipped, turned to his mate, and explained "this is the swallower I told you about".
Pulling out his cock and turning back to look down at me, he instructed "now you're gonna open your mouth and suck my dick, and you're gonna take my fucking nut; ALL of it. And when you're done swallowing mine, you're gonna stay down there with your mouth open and take care of my mate and swallow his."
I nodded, which elicited at curt "good, now suck it you dirty cunt, and don't even THINK about pulling off until I'm done using your fucking mouth!"
So suck him I did, and I really couldn't pull off even if I'd wanted to, as he had at least one of his hands (and frequently both) clasped firmly on the back on my head, as he furiously pumped his fuck stick in and out of my moist mouth, looking over at his mate and grinning as he thrust deep and held my mouth right down on his base.
True to his word, he did cum in my mouth, making me swallow it all, and no sooner as he'd pulled out, and before I could so much as catch a breath, his mate was my mouth, doing the same. He was a little less aggressive, but his bud took charge towards the end, holding my head down onto his mate's throbbing shaft as he blew, ordering me to "stay the fuck down there and swallow for him!"
So swallow I did, all six spurts of his fuck fluid, letting it slide across my tongue and down my throat, until he'd released it all. When he was done, he pulled out and let out a sigh to his bud, who immediately exclaimed "one for the road" as he mounted my face and rode for about 60 seconds before dumping another batch of ball juice down my throat.
By this time, his mate had zipped up and as his bud pulled out, he demanded I "suck it fucking clean" (which I did), before he too zipped up, looked down and said "you're not done yet, the next shift will be in shortly and we'll be back later for more".

What the Easy men are ticketed for when driving
Richard Winters:
He has all of his paperwork at the ready the police officer doesn’t even have to ask. He’s very apologetic, but he didn’t do anything wrong. Dick politely chats with the officer, he’s not intimidated by the man but he’s being cautious. When the officer says he made a mistake and lets him go, Dick is very understanding. They even exchange information, talk about meeting up. You feel like a third wheel for a hot sec. He has never had a ticket.
Lewis Nixon:
IM NOT DRUNK!!!! I CAN DANCE, I’LL PROVE IT!!! 'Darling stay in the car', proceeds to fall out of the car while trying to exit. The cop and you exchange a glance. You follow the cop car to the station, you can see Nixon’s little head in the back window. He was indeed drunk. Yeah you should've seen it coming he had to blow into a breathalyser before starting the car, turns out that's why you were there.
Harry Welsh:
Nervous around the cop, tries to make small talk but the guy isn’t having it. You sit there in awkward silence as the cops leaves to fill out the paperwork. Harry got pulled over cause he was trying to show you a trick, but the trick was swerving back and forward across the lanes and wasn’t very impressive. Sheepishly takes the fine, with a mumbled apology.
Ronald Speirs:
Asserts dominance over the cop, uses his killer stare. The cop is jumpy under his cold glare. He’s not smug about it, stating facts about the law making the cop look dumb. The officer can tell he’s fighting a losing battle so tries to rescind the fine. Ron is very happy about this reaching out if the window to give the cop a pat on his arm. "It’s ok, people make mistakes". Leaves the police man in the dust before the interaction is truly over. He was speeding, but it was fine, he had somewhere important to be.
Carwood Lipton:
I feel like he would be the same as Winters. Very calm and collected, hearing out the officer. Obviously it's our baby boy and he hasn't done anything wrong. Even if the cop was a total dick, Lip would be so polite and understanding. I think it would piss off the cop that he wasn't talking back, giving a "Have a good night officer", as the cop marches away muttering under his breath. I'm sure he would turn to you saying, "shall we?" before pulling away from the curb. He did nothing wrong, Lip getting fined. Ha! You wish.
George Luz:
Thinks he is a stand up comedian and can get out of the ticket by telling jokes. Unfortunately for Luz he gets the most grumpy, stoic officer of all time. George crashes and burns with each quip and pun, you sink lower in your seat hoping the ground will swallow you whole, (we all know second hand embarrassment is the silent killer). Finally he receives the ticket and you sit in silence while he re-thinks his entire life. Before making the most ridiculous remark sending everyone into hysterics. He is very proud of himself, "I knew I still got it. He was just a bad crowd." Very pleased with himself he doesn't even care he got a ticket. What was the ticket you ask. Trying to stand and drive. Yeah this isn't his first time either, yikes George.
Joe Toye:
Yeah no this man never gets pulled over. Even if he does, he will evade the police. His brag is that he has never been ticketed. Well, they have never been able to catch him to give it to him. He will never tell you what he does to be chased by the police, the mystery of it all. Bill says its cause he's a shit driver.
Bill Guarnere:
Knows everyone, so when he is pulled over all you get is, "Wild Bill you mad dog, I haven't seen you in years!" Buddies with the whole police force, gets let off the hook way too often. Has broken all the laws, but hey when you know everyone, what really are laws?
Joe Liebgott:
You all might think he's a bad boy rebel with the most tickets out of the lot. But you forget, hes a tried and true cabby. Like Bill he knows everyone, all you have to do is utter his name and you can get a million stories about the man. His brag is that he has never been ticketed, sure he's broken the law, but he never gets caught. Unlike some people *cough cough* Toye. But hey Toye hasn't actually been caught, just been in multiple car chases.
David Webster:
He's offended you think he drives. Clearly passenger seat princess, put some respect on his name. Has been fined for not wearing a seatbelt and standing up through the sun roof singing Unwritten, but that's just a vibe and he has the ticket framed on his wall.
Buck Compton:
The self proclaimed 'best driver of the group'. He's daddy and drives around his baby boy's. He's like the dad that picks you up from Saturday sport, 'who wants to stop at McDonalds?' His car is the vibe, everyone always fights over who rides with him on road trips. Has the best songs and snacks for the road trips, he laughs in the face of tickets, this man is untouchable and has a squeaky clean record. May have tried to do a donut, but he'll never tell.
Eugene Roe:
Pfft, this man getting pulled over. You're dreaming. The most calm driver. He's like my nana, anyone heard of the story the tortoise and the hare, yeah well he's the tortoise. No one wants to drive with him if they need to be somewhere in a hurry, he's too nice and gives way to everyone. This man panics when the police pass him, even when he's doing nothing wrong.
Babe Heffron:
If Gene is the tortoise, then Babe is definitely the hare. Hold on for dear life if you ride with this man. The most chaotic driving of all time. Over taking, under taking, side by side taking? Yeah he does it all. You see orange light, he sees pedal to the metal. Speed limits are just suggestions to this man. The amount of fines and tickets this man gets in a year he could buy a whole other car.
Donald Malarkey:
He's a good driver, but boy oh boy he's easily distracted. If you're sitting in the back showing photos to the rest of the boys, he's turning around fully in the seat to see what's going on. The most common phrase in his car is, "Don watch the road!" He's a fun driver having the best songs and also has karaoke mics in the car that he hands back, but please encourage him to keep both hands on the wheel and both eyes on the road. The ads the are on the side of the road are catered just for him, he can't help himself when he sees something flashy. Has rear ended a car or two, maybe one of them was a police officer, but no one was there to see it.
Skip and Penk:
They don't drive. Skip is clearly a passenger princess and Alex is a backseat babe! Just tell them to please keep all limbs inside the car. Should not be allowed in Malarks car as they are the reason for his distraction but the love it, you will have to pry them out of the car they aren't splitting up!!

Actually if we want to talk about the lilienne/joyce ship I would like to bring up that it plays into the bourgeois woman’s fantasy of class dynamics in a relationship (à la lady chatterley), as well as the upper/middle class idea that their identity as women supersedes said class dynamics (and therefore they believe themselves to be in no position to oppress women of the working class) in a way that lends itself to reactionary movements like TERF ideology. As someone who lives in the uk and has been heavily affected by said ideology, joyce actually put me on high alert just by her voice and appearance.
I think it’s a mistake not to acknowledge that joyce is heavily thatcherite coded (the hair, the posh accent etc) especially when compared to lilienne who plays into the working class british woman archetype: she sounds welsh (considered a ‘lower’ accent), has young children, is a widower etc. It is fairly common to see the ‘confident mum who has to single-handedly support her young family’ in soap operas and other media, and she definitely plays into that stereotype.
Anyway, the ship is on the surface level a fun one, but let’s not overlook the framing as a one-sided and rather sinister set-up.

Background and Family
Gwendolen Eira Hughes was born on April 26th, 1875, in Swansea, South Wales, to a mother and father of unknown wizard of heritage. The details of her past are unsure; a carriage accident in her childhood tragically took the lives of her parents and left her with amnesia, leaving doctors and police with only documents to help piece her identity together. Her mother was an English woman named Alice Hedera while her father, Meilyr Hughes, was Welsh. After the accident, Gwen was placed in a Catholic convent where she was given an education but subjected to verbal, mental, and occasionally physical abuse. As she grew older, the convent began placing her into homes with the hope of adopting her out but she was returned each time due to her “poor behavior” and attitude. One of the families she lived with, the Trahernes, began physically abusing her which caused her magic to emerge. In a fit of anger, she caused ivy to grow throughout the entire house, damaging it and leaving the Trahernes with painful rashes. She was promptly returned to the convent and shortly after was visited by Professor Eleazar Fig.
After the events of Repository battle, Gwen’s mental health took a steep decline. The guilt and trauma she felt regarding the deaths of Professor Fig, Lodgok, and many more became too much to bear. She isolated herself within the Room of Requirement until Professor Matilda Weasley coaxed her out and comforted her during the last semester of the school year. After some consideration, Professor Weasley offered to become Gwen’s legal guardian so that she did not have to return to the convent. Gwen was initially hesitant to accept the offer, on account of her previous experiences living with adoptive families, but she eventually accepted after some convincing from Ominis Gaunt. It took a while for both of them to adjust to their new roles; Weasley did not want to overstep her boundaries but also wanted to make sure Gwen was being taken care of and provided for. Gwen kept Professor Weasley at arms length, waiting for the day it became too much and she would give up on her. But with time Gwen came to view Professor Weasley in a more maternal light (the feeling was mutual on Matilda’s end).

Hunger was far worse in the cities of Soviet Ukraine than in any city in the Western world. In 1933 in Soviet Ukraine, a few tens of thousands of city dwellers actually died of starvation. Yet the vast majority of the dead and dying in Soviet Ukraine were peasants, the very people whose labors had brought what bread there was to the cities. The Ukrainian cities lived, just, but the Ukrainian countryside was dying. City dwellers could not fail to notice the destitution of peasants who, contrary to all seeming logic, left the fields in search of food. The train station at Dnipropetrovsk was overrun by starving peasants, too weak even to beg. On a train, Gareth Jones met a peasant who had acquired some bread, only to have it confiscated by the police. “They took my bread away from me,” he repeated over and over again, knowing that he would disappoint his starving family. At the Stalino station, a starving peasant killed himself by jumping in front of a train. That city, the center of industry in southeastern Ukraine, had been founded in imperial times by John Hughes, a Welsh industrialist for whom Gareth Jones’s mother had worked. The city had once been named after Hughes; now it was named after Stalin. (Today it is known as Donetsk.)

I've seen some discussion of how Good Omens is an end-of-the-Cold-War novel, and I've done some Holding Forth myself on how and on what level Show Omens is a queer story and a satire/excoriation of Christianity's central values of authoritarianism and unquestioning obedience, but there's an aspect of of Good Omens that I haven't seen mentioned among the Ineffables yet, which is that Good Omens is a story about two characters coded as English men. It is, to some degree, a story about English masculinity.
We can say this with confidence because 1) the place Aziraphale and Crowley have been quietly going native for the last 1,500 years or so is England (Wessex and later London); and 2) Michael Sheen is audibly Welsh and David Tennant is audibly Scottish, and they have both adopted English accents for their roles.
There's some Word of God on this, too:
and
The accents are a choice. That means the Englishness is deliberate.
Obviously the masculinity is as well, in that Sheen and Tennant are both male and Aziraphale and Crowley default to male-coded for most of the story. And it's English masculinity, English Christianity, and the Cold War spy novel in combination that create the inescapable silence and terrible fear in which Crowley and Aziraphale must exist.
It's not just the eternal warmongering police state and bureaucracy, it's not just that God's left her angels to go feral like pigeons, it's also that Crowley and Aziraphale are coded as English men, and that combination means 1) they do not talk about feelings, ever
Tumblr media
My man(-shaped entity) physically cannot say feelings words
Tumblr media
David Tennant literally gives Crowley that English stiff upper lip.
and 2) They are a nationality and gender of people who touch and are touched among the least in the world. Like there is research on this, and I read that research in the 90s in a book first published in the 70s, I mean it is not news.
It took 6,000 years and one Armageddon for our beloved, mostly male-coded entities to get to this point--
Tumblr media
--and they're both still clearly having a moment about it.
An essay exploring the different English masculinities presented and alluded to in Good Omens--and especially how English masculinity has always had space in it for same-sex love amongst the upper and artistic classes--would be super interesting, but I am not qualified to write it either in terms of depth and specificity of historical knowledge or in terms of my position in the human diversity/power dynamics web (cis bi woman).

This is my protocol bingo! (Thank you as always osric.com).
Lena is just doing her evil job - No thoughts, no morals, no alligence. Girlboss.
Nobody ever finds out Jmart's real names - I just think that would be tragic, and fit in with what RQ have been saying about this not being too attached to Archives.
Redemption arc - There was a notable lack of these in Archives even though forgiveness and making a conscious effort to behave morally were important themes in the later seasons. I'm ready for Mr Bonzo to have Kylo Ren's exact redemption arc where he's redeemed mostly through kissing. I don't even care who he kisses.
Froyo trip - It's pretty clear that we're being told that this is Somewhere Else through things like the Archives staff having tea and the OIAR staff having coffee. The s1 Archives gang iconically got icecream, so I'm gunning for a froyo trip, and a Gwen monologue about preservatives.
Colin dies first - He's just so killable. Plus, Celia can't die until they do her reveal and they'll probably want to build up to it, Sam can't die because he's the driving force behind investigation into Magnus, Alice can't die because she kinda makes the whole show, Gwen can't die because she's mid-arc and it is of the type that if left unfinished it would be anticlimactic not tragic, and Lena can't die because the impact would be pretty low.
Nostalgic PC games - I LOVE that RQ appears to be into old tech. I want to see Chester and Norris play Catz 5. Lowfi retro charm.
Dyhard - I go back and forth on this one, it feels too obvious what with the hot drinks imagery workplace annoyances to lovers stuff, but at the same time it does Just Make Sense.
Somebody becomes disabled - In Archives people were injured a lot, but none of that amounted to a long-term physical disability, except for Melanie's blindness. Feels like something to do in Protocol.
Police brutality - Feels like a theme that Jonny still has more to say about, and an incredibly easy one to weave into this kind of story.
Alice is hiding something - I actually think she isn't but y'all are saying it.
Alice naming stuff has consequences - She does it so much and Colin warned her off it, clearly seeming concerned but not explaining why, I think it will have unforeseen and damaging consequences.
Someone has a pet - In Archives, especially in the earlier seasons, everyone was notably unattached. Martin has a mum to take care of, but nobody has partners or children. I think this was partly because it made them easier to manipulate, and partly because it meant that tragedy could be dialled up: Sasha dying was sad, but not as gutwrenching as Daisy dying because Daisy's relationships were more fleshed out because it was later in the series. We're already bucking that trend with Celia's son, so I think we might see a pet too. Also, the pet will probably die.
Alice dies in the last season - Alice is very killable but she's also the heart and soul of the character relationships, so I think they will kill her but they'll wait to do it, and then do it mid-final season as an OOH THEY WENT THERE turning point, like how Tim dying brought in a new, darker era for Archives.
Conclusion that love isn't what makes you human - At London Comicon in October, Alex or Jonny (I forget) said that if Archives was about what makes you a monster, Protocol is about what makes you human. I think it's kinda trite if love is the answer, and I think the conclusion re love will be that monsters can love, because that's cooler. Hell yeah romantic monsterfucking.
Celia evil - I LOVE that we're seeing another Welsh person, but she doesn't sit well with me.
Agnes returns but we don't hear her speak - The tree on the other side of the rift is still alive, and if that universe was this one then that means that Agnes may still be alive. Jonny and Alex have said that they regret not doing more with Agnes, and I don't think they'll miss out on the opportunity to use her again. However, I think the fact that she doesn't speak is central to her tragic character and role as Jon's character foil, and I don't think they'll change that. I actually posted a tiktok about this.
Scene on London public transport - We're already seeing our gang at the pub and on dates, I think we're going to get some tube content.
Jmart fate worse than death - They're going to have us WISHING that they died in mag200.
Fears never treated as separate - I just think we're over that.
Breakup - They're getting the character relationships in early, so I'm predicting an onscreen breakup, because that's one of the few ways that we didn't see relationships between characters going bad in Archives.
Gerry's life gets ruined again - I'm sorry guys but I don't think they're going to let him have peace. He's going to get dragged into the OIAR situation and he's going to suffer.
Alice's brother lives - People are already noting similarities between Alice and Tim, I think that it'll be essentially the same character beat again if her brother dies. Adapt, improvise, overcome, RQ.
Another Michael - Just another character called Michael, unrelated to the four existing Michaels. I wasn't going to put this because Jonny is very aware of the four Michael problem, but this man plagurised his own full legal Christian name, so anything is possible.
Jack is Agnes' Jack - I think it's cool if we all think about how there was actually a massive age gap between Agnes and Jack because she didn't seem to age past her twenties, so he was absolutely a child when she was an adult. Not that I want to have Discourse or anything, that relationship was hecked up and complex in plenty of other ways, just because it's interesting.
Onscreen kiss - They said they wouldn't do it during Archives and then they did and it wasn't that gross, so I'm ready to see it happening again. They might have a relationship between allosexuals this time, I don't think they're going as far as onscreen fucking, but I'm game to be surprised. Insert joke about reusing the whimpering noises from Archives here.

Starting over | Part 23
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Summary: A special day for y/n is just around the corner and her boys are trying to make it the best she's ever had.
Trigger Warnings: 18+, Minors DNI,hurt and comfort, injuries, mention of past bad relationship, a tiny little bit steamy but not really smut
Word Count: 3k+
A/N: I took me soooo long to get this chapter out, work was crazy and I had so much to do that I didn't find the time to write. I'm not happy with this chapter, not at all. It's just a small filler but it has to be done. The next chapter is going to be smutty!
A warm nearly hot feeling is enveloping Jake's chest when he wakes up from his nap. Slowly coming to and getting more awareness of his surroundings he starts to feel a vibration beside him. No, no vibration but shivering. Memories of the previous events flood his mind, y/n giving her statement, exhausted from reliving the memories of Welsh's attack, his girlfriend being afraid that they don't believe her, him cuddling with her on the couch and finally falling asleep. He opens his eyes and sees the source of the vibration against his chest. Y/n is violently shivering, her teeth nearly chattering. Jake peels his hands away from the young woman's back and wander higher up until he rests one hand on her neck. She is burning up. The blonde aviator softly cups her face which is pressed against his chest and tilts her head back to get a look at her face. Beats of sweat had already formed on her forehead. Even not awake y/n looks like she is in distress, in pain during her sleep.
"Y/n? Hey sweet cupcake…" Jake strokes over flushed cheeks, trying to rouse her as softly from her nap as possible. He is greeted with a small moan which is immediately followed by a painful whimper when his girlfriend tries to pry open her tired eyes. The light which filters through the living room windows is way too bright for her head which seems like having a raging tornado inside. She fists Jake's shirt into her hands to distract herself from the pain radiating through her body.
"Hey my girl. Did you sleep well?" Jake asks in a loving voice admiring the beauty of his girlfriend even with sweat coating her forehead and her cheeks flushed from her fever. The blonde pilot places a cautious kiss on her lips. He would have never believed that he ever feels so much love for a woman let alone for Rooster. But here he is, madly in love with his roommate and friend and this wonderful woman in his arms.
He gets slightly concerned when he doesn't get a real answer from y/n, she must be feeling really bad.
"Your fever is back, y/n. I think you're ready for some more painkillers and something for that temperature of yours."
Bradley is brought out of his thoughts when he hears soft mumbling coming from the living room area. He just talked to Maverick over the phone who gave him some interesting information about both Fillon and Welsh.
He stands up from his seated position at their dining table and makes his way over to his partners, who are still huddled on the couch.
He crouches down beside the sofa cringing when his eyes land on the huge bruise on y/n's lower back where her, well his shirt, has ridden up. He exchange a concerned look with Jake who is already fully alert, cuddling their violently shaking girlfriend into his chest.
"Hey, welcome back." Bradley says before he kisses y/n head, inhaling her sweet scent. A soft 'Roo-y' can be heard but it's muffled by Jake's chest.
"What about you two, my sleepyheads, stand up now and I'm going to make us something to eat. You must be hungry." Bradley suggests while drawing patterns between y/n's shoulder blades.
---
Y/n was desperate for a shower, to rinse away the remaining memories of the disastrous interrogation she endured by the two Lieutenants of the military police. When the painkillers finally set in and took the edge away she gave Jake her best puppy dog eyes to convince him that she is fit enough to take a shower.
So here she is, clinging to Jake's wet body in the shower of the master bathroom. Droplets of lukewarm water cascading his muscular body. Goosebumps are littering her feverish body. The two conditions her boyfriends gave her were that she is not going to shower alone, which was no problem for her, she loves to shower with one or even better with both of the pilots, but the second condition is much more difficult for her. She has to take a nearly cold shower to help lowering her temperature. Even after taking her medication her body is still not able to fight the raging fever completely.
Two strong hands are massaging her scalp, washing her hair and soothing her headache. Y/n leans her body further into Jake's chest feeling his strong body deliciously close to hers.
"Baby, when you come any closer I can't restrain myself anymore." Jake chuckles into her ear, intensifying the goosebumps littering her body even more and now not because of the cold water but because she can feel Jake's member poking into her abdomen.
Butterflies are raging a storm in her body when she traces pattern on the blonde aviator's muscular chest while his fingers massaging the conditioner into her hair.
Y/n places soft kisses right above Jake's heart. She loves her two boyfriends unconditionally and this fact just manifests only more when she realizes how both take care of her without claiming something back from her.
"Gonna wash this out, it's getting a bit colder now, baby." Jake whispers into y/n's ear when he finishes massaging her scalp and before he starts to rinse her hair with the hand shower.
A small yelp tumbles out of y/n's mouth when more lukewarm water hits her head. She stumbles another step into Jake and his warmer Body, grabbing his hips to steady herself.
The cold water and the uncomfortableness is soon forgotten when she can feel his semi hard member now much better with no distance between them.
Jake looks down and is greeted with a mischievous but cute grin from his girlfriend.
When her right hand slowly wanders from its secure place on Jake's left hip right to his sensitive cock, Jake hisses and closes his eyes from arousal. But soon he catches the wandering hand placing it back on his chest.
"You feel that? You're going to be the death of me…" He chuckles while holding her hand in place to show her his rapidly beating heart. The blonde pilot takes her other hand and slowly lead it up to his face until his lips touching y/n's fingertips, slowly kissing all five digits of her left hand.
---
Enveloped in a fluffy and preheated bath towel Jake hoists y/n up onto the bathroom counter, a soft giggle escaping her when she drops her gaze on the small towel around Jake's hips. The small fabric clearly struggling to shield his still hard member from her prying eyes.
"I see you two had your fun?" Bradley asks in a playful strict tone when he steps into the master bathroom finding both his partners still not dressed.
When his gaze lands on the slightly flushed cheeks of the blonde aviator he is afraid that he too is sick now, that his cheeks are also flushed with fever. But soon he realized the real reason for Jake's bright red cheeks.
"This little vixen, too sick to help with the household, but fit enough to touch her nurse inappropriate." Jake says in playful banter, glad that both his partners are laughing, forgetting the stress of the previous days just for a small moment.
"Well, I can't blame her for that," the brunette softly laying his arm around y/n's smaller frame, "who doesn't want to touch a naked Jake Hangman Seresin?"
---
The following week was an up and down for y/n. There's still no sign of Welsh. Him being out there makes the young woman nervous. Is he out there watching them? Is he over the hills and long gone or is he coming back for revenge? Especially now that Lieutenant Fillon told the whole story he has with Welsh, y/n is certain that the psycho is going to make an appearance. The only question is when.
Her physical recovery is still taking slow. Some days she feels better than others. Over the last days she gained some more energy to even wander around in the house. On other days she feels like a train hit her. Even if she knows what side-effects her bruised kidney can cause such as pain, fever and blood in her urine, one night she was shocked to see the amount of blood in the toilet. She knew she didn't drink enough water that day and the amount of pain she was in during the trip to the toilet in the middle of the night made that very clear.
On shaky legs she finished her business but her strength was soon completely exchanged with excruciating pain spreading from her lower back into all fibers of her body. Sitting on the floor making herself as small as possible is how Bradley found her after he stared for several minutes at the rays of light from under the closed bathroom door which illuminated his bedroom.
His concerns only grew when more than ten minutes went by without any audible movement behind the closed door. So he tiptoed into the bathroom without waking Jake up and found their girlfriend in a concerning condition.
Y/n was more than ashamed that she once again disturbed one of her boyfriends' sleep.
Fortunately she was able to avoid a trip to the hospital and during the following days she got some of her energy back.
---
"Baby! Babygirl!...Y/N!" Jake softly stops his girlfriend from swirling her way further around the living room. It's two weeks since she has been released from the hospital into the care of her overprotective boyfriends. As much as she loves both of them after 14 days of them pampering her, she is bored out of her mind. So she made the decision to clean the living room, even if it was spotless thanks to Jake and Bradley, just to feel somewhat useful.
Y/n sneaks around the living area when both her partners are hitting the home gym, she finally could convince them that it is absolutely not necessary to keep her under observation 24/7, especially under the aspect that one of them will be back at work at the base rather than staying at home writing instructions for their recruits.
"I just wanted to tidy up the living room a bit." She says while Jake softly turns her smaller body around to face her completely. Tomorrow their friends, the whole Dagger Squad, are showing up, it's y/n's birthday and Natasha would've gone feral if either Jake or Bradley would've refused her to come and visit her friend. Y/n was able to convince both her boyfriends that they should invite their whole friend group. Because of her being injured Jake and Bradley are in great need to forget the stress for one moment and being with all their friends and colleagues will be the perfect arrangement, at least if you ask y/n.
Jake lowers his gaze to catch his girlfriend's sparkling eyes, a loving grin on his face.
"Cupcake, it's spotless in the living room. Heck, the house is spotless. Bradley and I did the whole cleaning yesterday, remember?"
"Just wanted to be helpful, useful. I feel like," the young woman looks down to the floor, the fluffy carpet in front of their sofa seems to be much more interesting as the man in front of her, "-feel like I'm useless. You two did so much for me. Not just after the- the incident, but in general. How can I ever pay you back?" Y/n lets out a long and frustrated breath.
Jake tilts her head up, softly stroking his pointer finger under her chin.
"Y/n, my love. You're the most important thing in our life. Don't you ever think that you have to pay us back." Y/n shrieks when suddenly the blonde aviator sweeps her up, his hands under her bum. The young woman embraces her legs around Jake's midsection while he searches for her plump lips.
---
Y/n feels a gentle tickling on the soft flesh of her neck. A warm hand strokes wisps of her silky hair out of the way. Soon she feels warm lips covering her neck in kisses a sweet 'happy birthday, Princess' is whispered into her ear. She smiles into her pillow, enjoying the morning cuddles of one of her boyfriends. She stretches one arm out but is greeted with a cold bedside. Jake seems to be long up, fortunately Bradley is still with her in bed. The young woman rolls over to greet the brunette pilot properly by placing her hands on his warm chest stealing a kiss from his delicious looking lips. She lets out a shy moan when his mustache tickles her upper lip.
"How did our birthday girl sleep?" Bradley mumbles against her slightly opened lips.
A shiver runs down her spine when she feels his arms tightening around her to bring her closer to his muscular body. She can feel his warm skin on hers, his muscles flexing when he starts to stroke his hands over her back, cautious not to touch her still prominent bruise.
The door to Bradley's bedroom, in which the three often sleep together, creaks open. Y/n breaks away from Bradley's lips to raise her head from the comfy pillow.
Like a Greek God Jake stands in the doorway. The bright light from the living area envelopes him like a halo. In his right hand he balances a small cake with a white silky looking cream sprinkled with colorful dots like small confetti, a single candle already lighted up. In his other hand he carries a suspicious looking  turquoise gift bag.
The blonde bare chested aviator makes his way over to the empty side of the spacious bed, deposits the gift bag on the nightstand to secure the cake with the burning candle in both his hands when he crawls his way over to y/n.
"Happy Birthday, y/n!" Jake breathes out in a quiet voice, keeping the calm in the bedroom. The young woman sits up snuggling her back into the brunettes chest.
"Make a wish, Princess." Bradley whispers into y/n's ear, catching all her loose hair into his hand to help her lean forward towards the cute looking birthday cake.
---
She can't remember one birthday which was so filled with love and affection than this one today. More than a spiteful and hateful 'happy birthday' she has never gotten from Michael, her ex. When she is honest the most prominent memory of one of her birthday is five years ago. Michael was in an extraordinary bad mood this day and it only gotten worse when he found y/n in the small kitchen baking a cake for her colleagues at work. A small amount of flour was spread across on the kitchen tiles when the man entered the kitchen. It ended with y/n sporting a broken rib and painful burn on her hand when he forced her to get the cake out of the oven without any protection such as an oven mitt.
Today is entirely different, the three of them shared a big piece of cake while still cuddling in bed together, laughing and chatting the morning away.
A small tear is making its way down y/n's cheek, soon followed by more. A steady stream of salty tears drips into her lap when she stares at the present in her hand.
The cool material in her hand reflecting the rays of light which filter through the curtain. Y/n traces the heart shaped pendant with the pointer finger of her other hand. A small diamond framed with the well-known 'Return to Tiffany & Co." decorates the silvery material.
"Turn the heart around cupcake." Jake puts his under y/n's shaking one. Embedded on the backside she finds their three initials.
A load sob tumbles out of her mouth when she first looks into Jake's eyes and then turns around to look at the other pilot.
"This- this is too much…" She stumbles over her words. This the most expensive, most beautiful present she has ever gotten.
---
The light mood which spreads in every corner of their shared house is nearly physical palpable. Y/n never have thought that she would ever have such a fun birthday with friends and all the people she loves and more important people who love her. Phoenix brought a huge helium filled balloon and the guys each brought a nice bouquet of y/n's favorite flowers. Bradley was the designated chef, grilling burgers, steaks and vegetables for his friends.
After a very nice sunset which they all enjoyed watching on the cozy deck of the three's garden the cold wind picks up, creating a deep chill in y/n's bones, so that she was thankful when Jake suggested to go inside and huddle in the living room together.
This was the longest time the young woman was on up and about for nearly two weeks and she can already feel the exhaustion spreading through her body. But despite her feeling more and more drained she doesn't want to let the good time end. When she is sure that she can't stifle the next yawn she makes her way into the kitchen to start the dishwasher.
---
"I guess we should hit the road. Our birthday girl can't keep her eyes open any longer." Phoenix speaks in a hushed voice. She knows that y/n would never kick them out even in pain or being utterly exhausted. So one by one envelopes their friend in a tight hug, silently thanking God that she seems to be on her way to recovery.
"Thanks for coming. Seeing you all was the best present…"
---
"Okay Princess, time to hit the pillow." Bradley says while he envelopes his girlfriend in a tight hug, embracing her smaller body completely into his. Y/n looks up into the pilot's warm brown eyes, slowly stroking her pointer finger over his plump lips.
Feeling her soft finger dancing over his lips, Bradley can't stop the moan which tumbles out of his mouth. In a strong but nor painful grip he catches y/n's hand and lowers his head to place a kiss on his girlfriend's waiting lips. It's now y/n's turn to let out a shy moan when she feels another set of strong yet soft hands caressing her back.
"Making out without me?" The woman feels Jake's hot breath against the shell of her ear.

Happy Birthday Kenneth Campbell "Ken" Stott, born on October 19th 1954 in Edinburgh.
One of my favourite actors, as hard-drinking Detective hero of Ian Rankin's popular book he was Inspector John Rebus to me. Ken's Father was Scottish and a teacher, his mum a Sicilian, he went to the famous George Herriots school before going onto to Mountview Theatre School, where the distinguished actor Sir John Mills was president. Fellow Scot Douglas Henshall was also a student of the school. Before leaving Edinburgh Stott had been in a band called Keyhole some of the members of the group would later join the Bay City Rollers.
Ken went on to work with the Royal Shakespeare Company but the pay was poor and he subsidised his earnings by selling double glazing. His first TV role was in Secret Army for the BBC, parts in TV shows throughout his career have included, Taggart (of course) The Singing Detective, London's Burning, Your Cheatin' Heart and Silent Witness. He was insome good films too, The Debt Collector (with Billy Connolly) , Shallow Grave, (with Ewen MacGregor) and Plunkett & Macleane (with Robert Carlyle).
My favourite shows of Ken's have been the brilliant BBC Scotland series, Takin' Over the Asylum in which starred as Double Glazing salesman, but aspiring disc jockey
with David Tennant and Angus Macfadyen,The ITV series The Vice was also a cracking series where he played DI Pat Chappel and The BBC show Messiah, where again he played a cop, DCI Red Metcalfe where he learned sign language for scenes with his screen wife, and Rebus of course, when the show was resurrected in 2006, Stott was a first choice for many as D.I John Rebus, John Hannah had the role in the first incarnation, mainly due to it being made by his own production company.
On film Ken is probably best known for his role as the Dwarf, Balin in The Hobbit trilogy. He is a popular choice for voice work, as narrator for series such as Trawlermen, a documentary following North Sea trawlers, and Send in the Dogs, following the work of Police Officers and their canine partners.
One of my favourite stories about Ken Stott echoes the no nonsense approach of Rebus, on stage during Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge, he halted the play when a group of teenage schoolkids were misbehaving and disturbing the show, switching from his stage American to his native Scots accent he told the teacher responsible for the children to remove them, or the play would not go on.
The house lights were switched on and there was then a 15-minute stand-off as discussions took place with the offending youngsters.
The audience took the side of Stott and even resorted to chanting 'out, out, out' in extraordinary scenes. Eventually the three culprits and an embarrassed teacher was forced to creep away before the play resumed at the Duke of York's Theatre.
Of his recent stuff check out The Dig,, it a decent film and based on a true story of an archaeologist embarks on the historically important excavation of Sutton Hoo in 1938.
I can't see anything happening on Ken's IMDb page, but there is a third series of the Irvine Welsh show Crime in development, so I expect he will reappear in that.

Re: the UofT anon, I think it's worth sharing the full email we got. This is the same university whose land acknowledgement talks about how grateful they are to have the "opportunity to live and work" on the stolen land their "private property" occupies. Also note that campus police have arrested members of OccupyUofT while they were holding a peaceful sit-in on campus.
"Dear students,
At this time of heightened tensions, when protests are taking place on many university campuses, I am writing to remind you of the University of Toronto’s commitment to free expression and lawful and peaceful protest, as well as the necessary limits that accompany those freedoms.
Freedom of expression is central to the University of Toronto’s mission of learning and discovery. The University’s Statement on Freedom of Speech notes that “all members of the University must have as a prerequisite freedom of speech and expression, which means the right to examine, question, investigate, speculate, and comment on any issue without reference to prescribed doctrine, as well as the right to criticize the University and society at large.” The statement also makes clear that all members of our community have the freedom “to engage in peaceful assemblies and demonstrations.”
The University respects our members’ rights to assemble and protest within the limits of U of T policies and the law. The University also has a duty of care to our students. Actions that create a health and safety risk, that interfere with the ability of students, faculty, librarians and staff to learn, teach, research and work on our campuses, or that disrupt or impede other University activities are not permitted.
U of T’s lands and buildings are private property, though the University allows wide public access to them for authorized activities. Unauthorized activities such as encampments or the occupation of University buildings are considered trespassing. Specifically, our Code of Student Conduct prohibits intentional damage to University property, unauthorized entry and use of University property contrary to instructions, disruptions of University activities, and other offenses to property and persons.
Any student involved in unauthorized activities or conduct that contravenes University policies or the law may be subject to consequences. We ask that you engage productively with one another to fulfill our mutual obligation to provide a welcoming and safe community in which all members can express themselves.
Best Regards,
Professor Sandy Welsh

Hi, today I went to an (overpriced) cafe in Cardiff and bought 2 Welsh cakes to eat with my espresso. However, they didn't warm them or gave me anything to spread on them (butter, I read?).
Should I go to the police to file a report, or is this an acceptable behaviour. I am sincerely wondering.
Thank you for your service 🫡
overpriced welsh cakes, a travesty, cer o ma. it's capitalism's next war crime
as for toppings, a good welsh cake shouldn't need anything (at least warm them, like come on, they're better than way), but this is a free world and I'm a free man. put chocolate spread on your welsh cake, go crazy.
(I actually have no idea)

Michael Sheen's The Way echoes Tata steelworks reality
When Michael Sheen was filming clashes between steelworkers and riot police in his home town Port Talbot, little did he know 2,000 jobs at its steelworks would be at risk by the time it premiered.
"We had no idea when we were developing the story what would be happening at the steelworks when this came out," he said.
"It's incredibly unfortunate that the story we've written has come bizarrely very close to the truth."
Speaking ahead of The Way's premiere at Port Talbot's Reel Cinema, he insisted the three-part BBC drama - originally conceived in 2016 - was a fictional story and not about the Tata steelworks.
"But obviously, knowing the town, knowing the relationship the town has with the steelworks, knowing the insecurities and the anxieties that have always been there in my lifetime around employment and work there - that was part of what drew us to setting the story in this town," said Sheen, 55, who both directed and starred in the drama.
He said Port Talbot's steelworks was the "spiritual centre of the town" and "part of our DNA" and the news of job losses had been "devastating".
The Way is written by James Graham, created by Sheen, Graham and documentary filmmaker Adam Curtis and stars a number of Welsh actors.
The cast includes Steffan Rhodri (Steeltown Murders and Gavin & Stacey), Mali Harries (Hinterland), Sophie Melville (The Pact), Callum Scott Howells (It's a Sin) and Mark Lewis Jones (Men Up and Keeping Faith).
Episode one sees growing concern over the future of the steelworks, leading to protests, which later turn to riots.
Some take to the streets to join the fight, others frantically try to escape or hide in their homes as helicopters fly overhead.
The streets become a warzone and the town is locked down by armed police.
With Port Talbot facing an uncertain future, could life imitate art?
"It's not like we're saying 'this is what you should do as a result of what's going on' by any means, but obviously I have huge sympathy for the steelworkers," said Sheen.
"In no way is this a blueprint to how people should react, but you don't know do you? I have no idea how people are going to react.
"People will try and be as resourceful and as positive about it as they possibly can I'd imagine because that is the spirit of the people in this place - but at the same time you don't know and people are very angry as well."
For Sheen, "everything" is political.
A long-term champion of the NHS, in 2015 he was applauded for delivering a passionate speech to a pro-NHS march in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, and he is currently in rehearsal for a National Theatre production about NHS founder Aneurin Bevan.
In 2019, he sold property to bankroll the Homeless World Cup in Cardiff when funding for the £2m project fell through at the last moment.
In 2020, the actor, who was born in Newport and raised in Port Talbot, said he had handed back his OBE so he could air his views about the monarchy without being a "hypocrite".
In 2021, he said he had turned himself into a "not-for-profit" actor, using the money he earned from acting to fund projects.
He has been vocal on a range of issues from children in care to Welsh independence.
Was he trying to make a political statement in The Way?
"Everything is connected, everything happens for a reason, things are the way they are in this town and any town not just by chance, it's because of choices and various things... I think inevitably this was going to be a political story," he said.
"Part of the reason why we wanted to set it here... we needed to feel there was a great sense of discontent amongst a lot of people in the place, a lot of anxiety, a lot of feeling of not having their voices heard."
He said when people were made to feel that they were not being listened to and did not matter "that sense of frustration and anger can boil over".
Sheen made his name as an actor initially in the theatre before winning acclaim as a screen actor playing real people from Tony Blair, David Frost, Kenneth Williams and Chris Tarrant to lead roles in series including Good Omens, Masters of Sex and Staged.
In 2011, he directed and starred in a 72-hour epic theatrical production of The Passion, which moved around different locations across Port Talbot drawing huge crowds and critical acclaim.
It is perhaps unsurprising that he would choose to make his TV directorial debut in the town too.
"[The Way] was definitely very personal," he said.
"I feel like I knew what I was filming and I felt anchored and connected to what was going on."
Sheen now lives near Port Talbot with his partner Anna Lundberg and their two children Lyra and Mabli.
"It's somewhere I inevitably keep coming back to and it's an endless source of inspiration," he said of the town.
"It's the source of all my imaginative explorations really because it's my home.
"It's where I grew up, it's where all the most important things happened to me, it's where my family still lives, it's where I now live again and as I've got older I've realised more and more how important the beginning of my life was and all the opportunities people gave to me."
One of those people who gave him opportunities was Godfrey Evans, a drama teacher who helped shaped generations of actors through the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre and died in November, aged 82.
At the premiere across the road from the town's Aberavon Beach, Sheen dedicated the screening to both his former teacher and Port Talbot's steelworkers.
What are his hopes for those in his home town currently fearing for their jobs?
"Particularly at a time like this when there's so much anxiety and so much concern about the future it is so important to feel like you're supported and you can talk about what's going on and to find connection with other people who are maybe going through the same things," he said.
"We wish everyone the best and hope there's plenty of support for people in the future."
