Good Omens fanfic writers are out here saving the ineffable timeline. Like. Canon gave us a slow burn that lasted 6000 years and they said “Cool, now watch me make it even slower or actually communicate their feelings, pick your poison.”
They’re out here patching up celestial trauma, exploring every possible flavor of ineffable husbands—from soft domestic cottagecore to “what if they were enemies in the WWII but also kissed”—and they do it for free. These people spin gold out of words, gift it to the world, and ask for NOTHING in return except maybe a kudos or a “pls update”.
They bleed onto the page. They share their weird little ideas, their hyperfixations, their trauma, their dreams. They give us entire dissertations on angelic repression and demon anxiety, all while maybe crying over their own keyboard at 3am.
Honestly, Good Omens fic writers are performing small miracles daily—without even needing a flaming sword. May your coffee be strong, your drafts uncorrupted, and your AO3 tags gloriously unhinged.

Good Omens: You Should Be Crying About It Even Harder, Actually
Six thousand years of human history. Wars, plagues. Aziraphale has watched empires fall and innocents suffer. And being an angel—a good one—he’s felt every bit of that pain. Quietly. Deeply. The way only someone who cares too much can feel it. But nothing—not all the sorrow of humanity, not even the weight of Heaven’s silence—hurt him like losing Crowley did. That final moment… when he thought he was doing the right thing. When he tried to hold on to both duty and love, and ended up with empty hands. That was the true breaking point. Because for the first time in thousands of years, he wasn’t watching someone else’s tragedy. It was his.
And angels aren’t supposed to fall in love.
But they’re definitely not built to lose it.

I know a company that does both these things and no surprise, when you shop there, the employees are always miserable and agitated. You should kill your managers in such situations imo. The only reason I receive treatment slightly above this is i'm lucky enough to have managers who are also bothered by these business practices. The water one is especially bad if you have heat intolerance, I was so sick regularly before I switched to a department with more leniency regarding water.
Depending on where you live these things may violate labor laws though so if you're in the same situation look into it. However in my experience any labor law violations happen without consequence regardless

My friend Sean introduced the element of heart attacks to our playground games of pretend.
We were king cobras. If you had a heart attack, sometimes you would die, but sometimes you'd become a lion, or a police officer, and also have amnesia.
like many others of my kind i used to be the dog when roleplaying house with cousins but on top of that i was also obsessed with dying like every 5 minutes. id keel over and die of old age or pretend a car ran me over and id do it so often my cousins would beg me to stop killing myself cuz it was getting annoying

I hate the “open floor plan” that everyone is obsessed with in houses now. I want nooks and crannies and bizarre floor plans. I don’t need to be able to see what someone is doing on the other side of the house. I want places to hide and lurk and dwell in the shadows. I am the beast who awaits in the labyrinth

I think it is a reference to The Omen (1976), a very important source of Good Omens, not least because that is where the title comes from.
At the end of The Omen, Damien, the Antichrist, has killed his parents and is adopted by the US president and his wife. In the very last scene, he turns around to the camera and smiles exactly that smile, after a long serious look and a blink.
It means „I have achieved my goal, now I am in a position of power.“
I would love to know what you think of this, @kimberleyjean (thank you for nudging me to watch The Omen in the first place!!!) , @vidavalor , @ineffable-detective-agency ?
