Funny enough, meeting an elemental being is not a surprise at all to Thursday. Having lived in the Office for as long as she has, and with the Office being the Office and pulling in all kinds of folks from all kinds of dimensions from all over the multiverse, she's seen and met all kinds of beings. This folk and her attributes does not elicit even an iota of surprise from the Office inhabitant.

What does elicit surprise is the horse. Standing there. Nosing around at a stack of folders. And what's even more concerning is the fact that the horse doesn't appear to belong to this new visitor either.

"Oh," says Thursday, blinking in even more surprise. "You mean it's not yours? Well! Things just got a whole lot more interesting! Ahahaha. We have a stray horse loose in the Office! Shoot, we've never had a horse loose in here before. This is weird. Suppose we ought to... feed it? Usher it to somewhere... more appropriate for horses?"

She kind of presses her lips together and gives the other a slightly awkward look like, please tell me you know how to handle horses because I sure as shit do not.

Walking around the house while taking a break from his work, Xavier looks down and finds a piece of paper torn in half on the floor in Nox's office. Intrigued, he decides to go over there, pick it up, and turn it over to see it.

Only, it's not just a paper. It's a photograph -��of a family of owls, including the parents and their two sons. And one of them looks somewhat like Nox.

He raises a brow as he looks at the owls, wondering what this picture is doing here in the doctor's office. Speaking of who... he looks up, and he sees Nox walking around the corner. He waits for Nox to pass without seeing him before stepping towards him in the hallway.

Just found this laying here. Do you know anything about it? He inquires, showing him the torn photo.

Reading the newspaper he gotten from town, since was just getting one there and getting more items. May have gotten the news another kill and missing people. Proud at that, but to be snapped from his reading the dailies around, Xavier there speaking had dropped something. Did he dropped something? Doesn’t remember leaving something on the floor like that, fold the newspaper as he took what was handed to him. “Must of swept from the-“

Just him staring at the photo, that emotion had faded to a sadistic anger.

His eyes changed as well just looking at it, just out of nowhere his entire hand burns into green flame. Burning the photo with it, speaking in an abyssal language (demon type) with fill rage, something this side was never shown. Only he stopped realized Xavier was standing here still… Clear his throat now, “…pardon my sudden outburst, can surely nothing too important.”

Clearly hiding something, and what it seems he didn’t wish to acknowledge about it toward the other. Walking past, with his behavior changed so quickly it was truly odd.

Thursday, newly assimilated with the Narrative, watches from her cosmic position as her former friend known as Antares scrambles around in what seems to be a panic after he arrived home to find his home cleaned.

Cleaned by her, specifically.

Really, his living space had been a total disaster. Trash everywhere. Crumbs everywhere. How was it that he hadn't attracted any insects into his home yet?

...Was the fact that he himself an insect anything? There was a pun in there somewhere, wasn't there?

Trashy puns aside, Thursday was sure she'd done him a favor - not that he necessarily deserved it, she'd just felt like doing something nice, that's all - but this? This reaction? The panic? The dread? The paranoia? Sleeping with his blanket over his head like that? The hell is that all about? It's almost as if he thinks...

...someone... broke into his house...

"Oh... Oh shit, oh no, oh no no no no, noooooo, that's not what I meant! Agggghhhh!" Thursday wails, digging her crystalline-glowing hands into her shimmering silvery white hair and pulling at it. "What'd I do? What'd I do?!!!"

We told you... not to... interfere... comes an amalgamation of voices inside her head.

"I didn't! I didn't interfere! ALL I DID WAS CLEAN HIS HOUSE!!!" she refutes, bright silver clockwork wings springing open in indignation at the accusation.

Even the smallest choice... can have the greatest... effect...

"Okay, look... You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna go back down there, and fuck up his house again. I'm gonna put all the trash back, every crumb, every- speck of dust and- shit!" Thursday curses, throwing up her arms, before abruptly exploding into a prism of rainbow lights thrown off in every direction as she once again descends into Bayfloat.
