A/N:-yes this is inspired by my real life no i will not elaborate~

↪️Osamu Dazai

If you tell dazai that you have a stalker,he’d probably joke about it at first.

But when you tell him how serious it had gotten and how stressed and scared it makes you,

He takes it way more seriously.

He obviously has a plan,our little manipulator.

And soon enough he’s threatened the stalker with an entire stack of private and compromising information.

They stop after that.and youre finally at peace.

When you thank dazai he first brushes it off as it havin been nothing at all,but ends it with a serious statement of how no one messes with the people he cares about.

As we know,the worst decision dazai’s enemies could make is making themselves his enemies.

And That stalker realized that the hard way.

↪️Chuuya Nakahara

Chuuya,unlike dazai is a little less calculated.

He has absolutely no issue with using force to make his point clear when he’s pissed(or not.) and you having to live in a constant state of fear because of this asshole is WAY more than enough to piss him off.

He finds the bastard(being a port mafia exec. Really did have its fair share of perks) and pays them a visit himself~

He comes home later that day looking rather pleased with himself and when you ask what he did,

He just says that he took care of it.

You know chuuya like the back of your hand,so you also know that he definitely has no problem with defending what matters to him,no matter what the cost.

So to protect your subconscious,you don’t question him further.

But he sees that youre a little uneasy so,he clarifies that the person isn’t dead.

Theyre just… permanently out of commission and chuuya’s slight look of annoyance tells you that he really didn’t kill the stalker.

You run into his arms and thank him and he hugs you back while pressing a chaste kiss to your lips.

You unwind with wine and dinner and enjoy your first carefree night in quite a while.

↪️Doppo Kunikida

Kunikida is outraged!

How dare these delinquents disrupt your daily life schedule like this!

He MUST do something about it.

Kunikida obviously doesn’t want it to turn into anything too confrontational(not because he wouldn’t fight for you,but because the clean up would require more energy and time than this bastard deserves)

So he calls up katai and has him dig up anything about this stalker of yours.

Soon kunikida has more than enough information to come up with the perfect plan of action.

Blackmail really isn’t his style so he goes for a little something different.

He calls up the stalker and while the bitch is scared shitless,he drops little bits of the info he’s gathered in conversation.(okay yh I lied.blackmail it is.we stan petty kunikida in this house~)

At this point he’s having a conversation with himself so he knows the stalker is definitely shaking with fear.

So he ends the call with a final statement,

“I suggest you leave y/n alone  if you know whats good for you.you wouldn’t want to ruin your entire life now would you?not that you haven’t already by sinking to the level you are already at, of course.”

And he’s met with a shakey “yes,sir…” before the line goes silent permanently.

He let you know you can stop living in fear and you two go over your next days routine.(mans had only allocated a certain amount of time to solve that entire thing okay :’))

↪️Atsushi Nakajima

Atsushi is a gentle soul,bless him,really.

But he was worried af when you told him about your stalker.

He’s determined to keep his s/o safe!

He asks ranpo for help,and is turned away(‘not botheredddd’ ßRanpo’s reply)

So he goes to dazai next.

Dazai obviously suggests blackmail.

Atsushi doesn’t wanna pull a dazai on this one.

So he just calls the number(dazai has it tapped and is using ranpo{he was bribed with candy} to track it) you’d blocked and when he gets a rude response tauting him;daring him to ‘actually do something about it’ he loses it!

Who does this asshole think he is?!

Atsushi fires back saying that he really will and when the stalker cuts the line laughing and repeating that atsushi wouldn’t do shit, he really is ready to go deal some damage.

He walks out into the main area of the ADA to see dazai sitting at his desk with a shit eating grin oh his face,a piece of paper with an address scrawled across it between his middle and pointer fingers.

“here you gooo atsuuushiiiii~~~” he says

Atsushi thanks him and takes off to take care of it.

He comes back in about 2 hours and when you ask him what he did,he simply says that he taught the asshat a lesson on respect!

You get a letter the next day from your stalker and to your surprise,it’s an apology letter which specifies that they’ll never bother you again.

You thank atsushi with a little peck to the lips and hes a complete blushing mess.

We love this fluffy puddy tat(that’s tweety for pussy cat {wan atsushi in the background :- IM A TIGER!})

↪️Ranpo Edogawa

Absolutely obliterates the stalker.

He was bored anyway and you bein in distress was definitely enough to get him to try something.

He too calls up the stalker,but instead of airing out current or recent dirty laundry , he goes straight for their most sensitive and embarrassing childhood and adolescent memories.

How he knows all of this baffles you

But such is the wonder that is ranpo edogawa.

And finally he ends his call with.

“oh and say hi to all the people I put in jail! You’ll be goin there in 3….2….1” and sure enough the police were at the stalker’s door.and they were taken away.

Your praise and thanks have ranpo beaming because as we know,he lives for the applause :”)

Akutagawa is peeved to say the least.

Why were such vermin even allowed to live on the same earth as him??

he definitely takes care of it.

Rashoumon leaves the stalker permanently disabled once aku pays them a little visit.

What a waste of space.

He totally roasts the stalker on how useless and pathetic they are.

And finally leaves them with a last threat for initiative “leave y/n alone,or else ill come back and finish what I started.i cannot guarantee that you will survive.but it will certainly be painful.am I making myself clear?”

He’s met with a very petrified piece of shit and he finally kicks said piece of shit away from himself before leaving  swaggering away with his hands in his pockets and a bored look in his eyes.

When he arrives back at your apartment he tells you that you’ll be fine. And if they dare inconvenience you again,to let him know.

Yosano is pissed

But also delighted!

Goes after em.

Buddy grabs his pistols and goes to take care of business himself!

He doesnt care abt protocol in that moment,but he also knows that mori wont give a shit cos its a personal matter

So he’s technically in the clear.

Once at the stalkers door,he knocks twice to get their attention and when her hears the sound of a hand landing on the handle,he shoots and gets em right in the hand!

And in the process of doing so,hes shot through the lock,so he kicks the door open{effortlessly} and confronts the stalker who recognises him immediately (i mean obvs)

Tachihara is a part of the port mafias elite kill squad so he’s no stranger to a messy job,but for the sake of your subconscious, he keeps it comparatively clean,shooting through the stalker’s limbs and beating the shit outta them too!

He cleans up into new clothes at gin and ryunosuke’s before comin back home to you(he knows that if you see him all bloodied up the questions will start)

And let me clarify that mans did this without your knowledge so while you’re watchin a movie that night,you do not know what he did but you find out the next day and immediately know it was him

His thank you was a little kiss on the lips that somehow managed to convey your total appreciation for him in only 3 seconds~

↪️Higuchi Ichiyou

With the way she is when it comes to akutagawa,we know that higuchi would be protective of the ones she loves

So when her s/o is bein terrorised by a stalker,you bet your ass shes gonna take action

Step one: identify the stalker

She covertly follows you around and when she sees the person you’d described to her,she begins to tail them.

When they get home she calmly and quietly walks upto their door and knocks

She then winds back her arm and waits until-

BAM the stalker is met with a face full of fist!

She then takes advantage of their confused state and tackles them to the ground

She bends one arm behind their back and when they try harder to resist,a sickening crunch and a howl of pain is let out

And now that she has their attention,she makes her threat: “leave y/n alone or else you’ll have to deal with the entirety of the port mafia next!”

Ofc this threat doesnt mean anything~

like I mentioned earlier,mori doesn’t give a shit about personal matters so theres no way anyone (else) from the pm would be knocking on ur stalkers door.

But they didnt know that~

So they beg and promise not to bother you anymore.they promise to leave you alone forever.

Higuchi knows that they’re being honest,the fear in their voice is a dead giveaway

So she gets up but then shoots two bullets On either side of the stalkers face,barely missing.

“I hope ive made myself clear” are the last words she mutters before disappearing into the night

And just like that,you were never bothered again.

↪️Yukichi Fukuzawa

President fukuzawa isnt really confrontational unless he has to be

So when you tell him that you have a stalker terrorising you,

He knows what to do

He asks ranpo to deduce the location of said stalker and withink seconds,he does

Then,fukuzawa writes a letter.

A very threatening letter

Your stalker knows all about him

Ofc they would he’s your significant other !

So when they see the letter addressed to them from fukuzawa,they are immediately intrigued

And after reading the letter,theyre fuckin FILLED with fear

They know how powerful and skilled the president of the GODDAM armed detective agency is

So they immediately decide to leave you alone

Death by katana wasnt something they wanted to experience.

So when you tell him how the stalker wasn’t bothering you anymore and how you knew he had to have done something about it,he just replied with

You were best friends with naomi and thereby junichirou,and while their relationship weired out a lot of new people at the agency,you’d really never cared much abt it

So when you told them abt your stalker issue they were both worried.

This wasnt good for you or your mental health

So junichirou took it upon himself to take care of the situation

Naomi had you distracted the entire day with a whole day out of shopping and just FUN

Meanwhile junichirou had found the stalkers address and confronted them himself

As we all know,a pissed off junichirou is a SCARY junichirou

So you can bet the stalker tried to run

But as usual,

LIGHT SNOW TO THE RESCUEE

After the stalker thinks they’ve gotten away he appears behind them,with a gun pointed straight at their temple.

He threatens to pull the trigger (he wouldn’t)

And when the stalkers begs him not to,promising to leave you alone.

He scoffs and fires a bullet that just manages to graze their cheek.

He then lets the illusion break away as he disappears himself

After that,youre happy and you feel so FREE

You’re back to your old self again and the tanizakis fist bump to their success!

Atsushi is a kind-hearted person who has a strong sense of justice and ethics.

He believes in protecting those who cannot protect themselves and he has a deep respect for life.

While he may act impulsively due to his emotions, it's very unlikely that Atsushi would kill someone for his significant other in revenge.

Instead, he would probably try to find a peaceful resolution to the problem.

If pushed into a corner though, he would defend his loved one and might resort to lethal force if necessary, but killing is not something he desires or enjoys doing.

Atsushi is more inclined to defend and protect what he believes in than to take a life.

Killing is not something he takes lightly and it's something that goes against his moral beliefs.

If he finds himself unable to prevent a threat without using lethal force, he would likely do everything in his power to try and find an alternative solution, even if it means putting himself at risk.

Atsushi cares deeply about life and values the sanctity of human life, believing that life is a gift that should be treasured.

Dazai would probably not have a problem doing that if his S/O asked. If he found out that his S/O was in trouble, he will be like a lion protecting his mate.

He won't hesitate to kill anyone who threatens his partner. If someone has hurt his S/O in any way, Dazai won't let them get away with it.

And if anyone tries to hurt or manipulate his S/O, it will be their ultimate mistake. He won't stop until he makes sure his S/O is out of danger.

His S/O knows he has the skills to handle it. (He is an ex-mafia member after all) He is very protective of his S/O, and if anyone crosses the line by hurting them, he'll make them wish they were never born.

Chuuya would most likely want revenge if someone has hurt his S/O, be it emotional or physical hurt. But he might stop if the S/O says he'd rather not get revenge.

If someone hurts his S/O, I'd imagine his reaction would be pretty extreme. Like, he'd go feral and would most likely stop at nothing to kill the person that hurt his partner.

He isn't the best at taking care of someone when they are sick or hurt. He can be pretty good at calming someone down if they are having a panic attack or anxious though, as he can help ground them and guide them back to reality.

I'd imagine if he gets really close to his S/O he'd start to get a bit softer and more gentle, and become more sentimental. So when s/o tells him to stop, chuuya will stop.

Akutagawa's loyalty towards his s/o is absolute, and if someone causes them harm, he would not hesitate to take revenge, even if it means resorting to lethal force.

Ultimately, his actions will depend on the circumstances and how deeply he feels for his s/o.

If his s/o were ever in danger or harmed, Akutagawa would go to extreme lengths to protect them. This could include resorting to violence or even killing individuals he perceives as threats to their safety.

He is fiercely protective and would do whatever it takes to ensure their well-being. However, it's important to note that his tendency to act impulsively and violently might also put his partner in harm's way unintentionally.

He’d also blame himself for not being there for his s/o when they needed him most, and he would have a hard time letting go of the dead lover, to the point of visiting their graves regularly and keeping momentos related to them on him in the form of jewellery.

I have a few similar requests for cheering you up when you're upset, so here are my general thoughts as someone who suffers from anxiety:

Fukuzawa has the wisdom to say something genuinely helpful and calming. He also helps you with mindful breathing and makes you some tea.

Nikolai, in one of his sentimental moods, teleports you to a calmer, more peaceful location where you can calm down and feel safer.

Junichiro tells you what helps him when he feels anxious, and he comforts you by relating and talking through the situation.

Chuuya doesn't really know how to help anxiety, but he asks questions and gets you to talk and work through what's bothering you. Oda also does this but with more experience (I just noticed he's in the wrong spot, he should be further left than Chuuya)

Ango can't do shit doesn't do shit. His own anxiety paralyzes him.

Kunikida technically tries to help but he ends up making you feel worse by telling you all the other shit you should be worrying about instead.

Atsushi really, really, really wants to help but the poor kid is the most anxious person you know so he ends up making himself anxious and then you feel bad for making him feel bad.

Mori surprisingly makes you feel a little better by just talking about other shit until you stop consciously thinking about what was bothering you. It's still in the background but not as intense.

Bram tells you not to worry and that all will be taken care of. To him he's not helping, but you believe that he really will take care of the situation on your behalf so it helps you to know someone is in your corner.

Poe offers you a new novel he was writing, so you get to play in a fictional world. It's the best distraction ever.

Sigma doesn't know what anxiety is so he has no idea how to help. He tells you you can use any of his resources and that's about it.

Dazai says he'll jump off the roof with you so you don't have to deal with it anymore, and it at least makes you giggle. He'll keep saying dumb shit and you don't doubt that he really thinks offing yourself is a solution, but you also don't take him seriously so the giggles help.

Ranpo says anxiety isn't real so just don't worry -_-

Mushitaro tells you some depressing ass story of a time he was very upset as well and it just fucking sucks.

Fyodor either tells you to look to the lord for strength (I am so not joking) or he finds a way to twist you being anxious into an argument about you not believing in his ability to protect you/have things go his way.

Akutagawa says he'll kill anyone or destroy anything that's upsetting you. You really don't dig the destruction and it makes you feel worse.

Kunikida: “New Year’s resolution? President, I don’t think this should be something you come up with on the spot! Look here, I’ve outlined my New Year’s resolutions for the approximate remaining years left in my life. For 2025, it seems…”

Atsushi knew Fukuzawa was only trying to make small talk at the Agency’s New Year’s party, but he began to pity him as Kunikida rambled on about the importance of life goals and setting them accordingly…

Ranpo: “Bleh, I just set a new goal to eat more sweets than the previous year.”

Yosano: “Oh? It would be a shame if all those sweets caused what could be a lethal tooth infection… feel free to eat as many sweets as you’d like and just remember I’ll be here to heal you up!”

Yosano’s “reminder” sounded anything but comforting as a morbid grin bloomed on her face…

Ranpo: “… Maybe laying off the sweets in 2025 isn’t a bad idea…”

A fluff of brown hair next to him reminded Atsushi a certain someone was also attempting to make small talk. Atsushi could barely contain his sigh as Dazai brightly smiled at him, knowing he was desperate to be asked about his own resolution for 2025…

Atsushi: “Let me guess, your resolution is to–“

Atsushi and Dazai: “Commit a double su!cide with a beautiful woman?”

Chuuya had never prayed.

As far as he was concerned,having a god you could just talk to kind of defeated the purpose.Why be deferential,respectful when you could just badger the bastard?When you knew you’d always get answers?

Now that he couldn’t do either…He had no choice left but to pray.To pay reverence to the stubborn peace of shit…

He took a deep breath and shoved his hand in his pocket,pulling out a couple of coins.

He was standing in front of one of the very few Ahrahabaki shrines.It was in Surubachi,go figure.

With another deep breath,he tossed the money into the offering box.

Chuuya bowed once,making sure to do so slowly.He bowed again,shutting his eyes.

Right hand tad lower than the left,he clapped.

Once. Twice.

His words were drawn out as he mouthed the plea.

“Please let me fix this.Please let me fix this and not die…”Chuuya whispered

Not the most sophisticated prayer,but it got the point across,he supposed.

A beat.A few.A whole minute…His head still hurt just as bad as it had been hurting that whole week…

Chuuya’s bow this time was quick.He gritted his teeth as he ran down the stairs.He rushed over to his motorcycle,shoving the helmet onto his head and jamming the key into the ignition.

Fine,he’ll fix it himself.

It was two weeks after they got joint custody of Akutagawa when Dazai decided to say it.

“I don’t get it.” “What?”Chuuya asked,looking up from his laptop “Giving up the position you always wanted for some random kid.It’s dumb.That’s supposed to be PM not AM,by the way.” “…It’s 11AM now.You’re not making him train that late at night.” “You’ll ruin him.”Dazai sighed,tossing himself onto their bed

His partner scoffed,closing the file and turning off his laptop.

“Not any worse than you did.” “I just don’t see the angle.You know we’re like…the exception,right?”

Chuuya glared at him.

“He’s certainly not gonna outlive us.And when he kicks the bucket,you’ll have nothing to show for it.” “…So what?I should just not give a shit about anyone?Like you?”

Dazai nodded,smiling innocently.

“Naturally.If everyone were like me,we’d live in a utopia.”

Chuuya rolled his eyes,shutting the laptop and sliding it under the bed.

“Probably because everyone would kill themselves before they could fuck anything up.” “As I said,utopia.” “…Kill yourself.” “I’m trying.”Dazai sang

Chuuya threw himself onto the bed as well,right next to Dazai.

“Is that really how you view the world?People are only worth what they can give you?” “It’s how it is.Take your dear old dad for example.He needs my smarts and my ability,that’s why despite all the times I threaten him he hasn’t put a bullet in my head yet.”

Chuuya moved to lay on his elbows,mouth flat but lips twitching for a moment.Whether they were bound to go downwards or not,Dazai didn’t know,Chuuya quickly schooling his expression.

“Same with you.He gives you the affection and praise.In turn you give your life,power and loyalty.”Dazai said,matter of factly

He hadn’t meant for it to be cruel,hadn’t unnecessarily dragged out the words so they’d sink in further.Maybe he should’ve.

If he had,perhaps Chuuya would have been too taken aback to wrap his hand around Dazai’s throat.Not that Dazai was complaining,Chuuya’s weight on him and the pressure on his neck was the closest to death he’d been the whole week.Considering how slow work’s been going he’d gladly take this.

But on a practical level he had to admit it was a bit of a problem.

“Take that back.”Chuuya ordered “Why?I’m not wrong.Sure,if you die your father might miss you but that won’t really matter will it?At the end of the day,you’ll still have some equally powerful shmuck taking your place after a week.Maybe even less.”

Chuuya’s nails scraped as his hold on Dazai’s throat tightened,spots starting to dance at the edge of the brunette’s vision.

“Take.It.Back.” “This is an enterprise first and foremost,Chuuya.The faster you accept that,the better.”Dazai panted

Chuuya’s hand tightened further for just a moment,a breathy laugh coming out of Dazai at the feeling.But then,Chuuya got off with a scoff,hurriedly pulling his hair into a ponytail.

“You know,I pity you.” “Do you?Why’s that?” “Because when you finally kill yourself nobody will miss or mention you.And that’s really fucking sad.”Chuuya spat,turning back to him

His glare didn’t stay long,instead soon sinking into annoyance.His teeth weren’t bared for long either with his lips promptly tightening into a thin line.

His eyebrows fell quickly as well,mouth tugging downwards.For a moment Dazai thought he might’ve spotted a flicker of guilt or even worse sympathy.Before Chuuya could say a word more,he beat him to it.

“Maybe.But at least I have nothing and no one to lose.”

They both went to bed without another word.

“Don’t know whether this is worse or better than the paperwork”Kunikida said shutting the door of Yosano’s office

Dazai put the last scalpel away as he straightened up.

“Definitely better.This way none of you have to look at my handwriting.” “Mhh…So you and Atsushi talked?” “Yup.And surprisingly he’s against it just as much as the rest of you.I know,shocker.”

Kunikida rolled his eyes and pulled up a chair as Dazai kicked the drawer closed. “Why?” “I already told you why I want to kill-“ “Not why you want to kill him.Why you haven’t done it yet.”

Dazai blinked at Kunikida,the two staring at one another for an awkwardly long moment.

“So?” “I can’t just break into-“ “You could and would.You grew up there,you know that building like the back of your hand.You had no problem getting out before,you should have no problem getting in.”

Dazai was surprised by the matter of fact quality of his partner’s tone.Notably,a much different tune than he was singing when Dazai first informed them of his intentions.The brunette quirked his brow and snorted.

“Think I won’t do it?” “I think you’re stalling.” “My plans take time.” “Only when you want them to.”

Dazai sat himself down on the table and crossed his legs,leaning forward.Kunikida seemed unbothered.

Which really just meant he wasn’t getting off his back any time soon.

“Can you tell me what this is really about?”

Kunikida,without a word ,pulled out a small photo.

“Two years.Still in your apartment.” “…I never said I’d be happy about it.” “There’s a big difference between “not happy about it” and “it will destroy me”,Dazai.” “Oh please,don’t be so dramatic.”

Kunikida scoffed.

“Dramatic?Dazai,the entire time we dated,you barely kept his name out of your mouth and you thought he was dead at the time.” “I didn’t think he was dead.I thought it was po-“ “Big difference.And don’t think for a second that I didn’t notice how you two were when he showed up here.”

Dazai got off and stretched his arms above his head.

“Look,I’m tired of repeating the same spiel about why you shouldn’t kill him.You already heard all the reasons,so I won’t bother.” “But?” “Don’t force us to pick up the pieces when you don’t make it through this ok.”Kunikida said getting up and reaching for the handle

He turned back to Dazai as he opened the door.

“Please.”

And with that,Dazai was back to being alone in Yosano’s office.He plopped himself onto the floor and groaned as he ran his hand through his hair.

Sometimes he really missed not giving a shit about anyone…Caring made people’s lack of understanding infinitely less entertaining.

Dazai swung his fist at the heavens.

“Damn you.”he said halfheartedly Who he was damning,he had no clue.

Could’ve been Kunikida,Chuuya,Mori(though for that he would’ve had to swing down)…Possibly Odasaku for putting him into this mess.

Heck,maybe even the universe itself.

“Suddenly I get this urge to end this life of mine,hanging from the ceiling a rope I’m gonna tie”interrupted Dazai’s ring tone

Dazai smiled despite himself as he pocketed his phone.He was half tempted to just let the song play,purely because it always put him in such a good mood.He changed his mind when he saw the caller ID,cutting the refrain short as he picked up.

“Hey Ango,what’s-“ “Dazai,we have a problem!Fyodor faked his own death and now he’s on the loose!We’re searching for him right now.Tell the-“ “I’ll tell Ranpo,just tell us where you’re at and we’ll be there in a few.” “Immigration office.” ”Got it.Talk to you later.”Dazai said getting up and ending the call

Three hours…Three hours and no luck at all.It almost seemed like a joke.Most people would have to try to be as unfortunate as Chuuya was right now

Maybe this was divine punishment.If so…. “Way to be petty, ‘Baki.”he muttered under his breath,before taking another sip of the shitty gas station coffee

His phone rang and while he hoped it was Akutagawa,that possibility was almost immediately dashed.He sighed as he picked up.

“Hey,sis.” “Not going well?”Kōyo asked “Nope…Three hours of looking and not a sign of him.” “How long do you plan to keep going? “Until I get him.”

Kōyo gave a hearty sigh in response.

“For tonight,Chuuya.” “For tonight…Probably an hour more.” “Better than until midnight,I suppose.Good luck.” “Thank you. “Oh and one more thing.” “Hmm?” “Told you so.”she teased

Chuuya rolled his eyes.

“Very funny.Talk to you later.” “See ya.”she said,hanging up

Chuuya put his phone back in his pocket and leaned against the gas station wall,finishing off his coffee.He checked the cup and sure enough…

He groaned.Empty.And he still felt tired as shit.Maybe he should get a energy bar from the vending machine or something…

He peaked trough the glass door,ascertaining his options.Just as Chuuya figured that he didn’t like any of them,he saw a black haired man walk out of the bathroom.He was pale with purple eyes and was currently getting tea on the cofee machine.

He had Fyodor’s features basically memorized,the rat’s photo having been on his desk constantly for almost a month.This man was a dead ringer.

Of course,lookalikes happened.He couldn’t just assume.

After a quick toss of his plastic cofee cup into a trash bin,Chuuya pushed the door open and made his way over to the vending machine.His eyes flicked over to the Fyodor lookalike.He seemed confused,squinting at some piece of text on his own machine.

Chuuya smiled in turn,giving a small wave as he watched the man walk trough the door.He made his way over to a recently arrived Lada Niva.

Durable car,Chuuya noted to himself.A man with long white hair and an almost dreamy expression leaned out,the two exchanging words quickly.

Chuuya’s eyes widened.Ivan Goncharov,another member of the Rats.

He tried to read their lips but unfortunately he didn’t know Russian,so it was as if he hadn’t made the attempt at all.

Then Fyodor got in and they drove away.Chuuya waited a few moments,taking measured but larger than usual steps towards his bike.He glanced at the small wooded area off to the side of the actual road.

He threw his leg over and put the helmet back on.This way he’ll have a better chance of taking them by surprise. _

Dazai stared at the ocean,wanting to hurl.He hadn’t eaten anything bad,he was sure.There was no build up of vomit.

He just felt sick,but he didn’t know why.

“Dazai!Dazai are you even listening!?”Ranpo demanded

Dazai turned to him with an embarrassed smile.

“No,sorry.I was just thinking about how refreshing this water looks and -“ “Ugh,you’re so boring!It’s always suicide this and suicide that with you.Forget I asked.”he grumbled”When’s the cab coming?” “Twenty minutes or so.”

The detective lit up.

“Great,I’ll tell you how I cracked this Fyodor thing wide open,since you were talking with Four eyes the whole time.”

Dazai nodded and listened,stomach still uneasy when they got into the cab.

“Slumber of death to all ability users,for the resurrection of my beloved.” “You’re getting really fucking repetitive Hawthorne…”Chuuya panted

Damn bastard hooked the bike with his freaky blood tendrils…He really hated those things…At least with Rūyunosuke,Chuuya could afford a cut or two…These he couldn’t even touch…

He might as well have had Dazai glued to his back.

Nathaniel didn’t respond,sending another red string out,another strike landing harshly against the gravitational field around Chuuya’s body,actually working a grunt out of him.

Relentless bastard…How long could he keep this up?If his ability worked similarly to Akutagawa he should’ve been down for the count by now…But Chuuya didn’t even hear a single labored breath,Nathaniel’s ability still pushing against his own without stop.

Chuuya wasn’t sure how much longer he could take it.’Tainted’ was usually a breeze to use offensively,he’d just have to change the density of an object and let good aim do the rest but he was feeling every strike as if I it was landing against him…

He scoffed,a bit amused.He remembered Verlaine once told him not to rely on fields like this.He supposed he knew why now.It was fucking exhausting.

Chuuya looked at his bike,laying limply on the ground behind Nathaniel.The tires seemed good still.He just has to find a way to get to it…

Chuuya looked around them.They were in a small clearing yet were still surrounded by trees…

He took a deep breath and focused on the ground…This should be easy.Easier then breathing.And yet Chuuya wasn’t feeling it give him even an inch…Almost as the earth itself was resisting his ability.

“Come on…Come on….”

What was going wrong?

Chuuya’s eyes widened.

He’s not using his full strength.He has to dissolve the field…

Which was a terrible idea,dangerously stupid and should’ve never crossed his goddamn mind but…

He stretched his legs and sighed.

“One.Lift your foot.”he instructed to himself under his breath”Two.Hold it.”

He exhaled deeply.

“Three.Release.”

The field shattered as Chuuya brought his foot down with a loud crack.The ground fractured in a web of jagged lines,surrounding Nathaniel.Chuuya kicked into the air,sending the priest flying at what he was sure was a mocha speed.

Chuuya didn’t waste time waiting though.If this fucker could lift himself with his tendrils like Akutagawa could…He ran over to his bike panting still and turned the engine back on.The wind whipped past his face,Chuuya breathing a sigh of relief as he made it back out onto the main road.At 90 miles per hour he could probably-

Chuuya gasped as he felt a sharp pain in his side.He looked down,eyes wide in disbelief at the red stain beginning to form on his leather jacket.After eight years…A bullet had finally hit him…

Hello! I was hoping to request a Platonic! Dazai, Chuuya, Akutagawa x Child! M! Reader (Like 9-10 years old.) M!Reader is kinda like Albedo and Kazuha from Genshin Impact, they enjoy doing experiments and stuff related with alchemy and enjoy drawing and painting pictures of anything at all whether it’s people, nature, air objects like Albedo. But they also have an air of tranquility around them and are polite and well-spoken but also enjoy writing haiku’s and basically love taking in nature and aren’t “bratty” or “greedy.” There just… them.

How would this workout with Dazai, Chuuya, And Akutagawa? Meeting them in like a park and this kid just sitting on a bench somewhere alone, drawing and not playing with the other kids. Like they approach this kid I guess and ask them why they’re alone and reader just looks up at them and says something along the lines of “Though yes, I am alone, I prefer it this way because nature’s breeze and air have quite the effect, don’t you think? especially when you’re alone. It's almost peaceful, like the world around you has disappeared. Poetic, don't you think?” After that they just keep meeting this kid until like a sort of sibling-like bond blooms since they’ve never met a kid like reader someone who sees right through them and understands them completely.

He was just passing by the child’s park when he spotted a boy,who was sitting alone unlike the rest of the kids who were playing with others Normally, Dazai wouldn't interfere in these kinds of matters, but seeing the kid sitting alone, writing on a notebook while being different from the others, it reminded him of Odasaku, his late friend.

So there he was, beside the kid who looked up to see a stranger looking at him blankly.

“Shouldn't you be playing with other kids?” he asked, viewing the notebook the kid held.

You looked up to him with a stare, simply replying with “I prefer being alone stranger-kun, i don't want to interfere with other’s play” 

“So what are you writing Uh…” “Y/N” “Yes Y/n?”

“A Poem!” “That's really nice, can I see it?” 

Needless to say, he was awestruck to see such a beautiful poem by a kid at the age of 9.

Chuuya:

He was just walking in the park of Yokohama in the evening when he bumped into a kid who looked not older by 10, carrying a magic game box, which contained lies scattered around the ground.

“Oi Wat-” Chuuya looks down to see the boy collecting his things and going away sitting on the bench by himself.

Feeling sorry for his actions, Chuuya went up to the nearest shop and bought a candy for the kid, in hopes to cheer the kid up. Kids shouldnt be isolating themselves from overs at such a young age.

“Here” Chuuya spoke, handing the kid a bar of candy. You looked up to him before speaking, “No thank you, I am not taught to take candies from others”

Chuuya laughed at his comment, ‘Parents and their way to teach their kids’

“Say kid, why are you sitting alone by yourself? Shouldn't you be enjoying and perhaps playing with others?” 

You  just looked up at him before saying,“Though yes, I am alone, I prefer it this way because nature’s breeze and air have quite the effect, don’t you think?” Chuuya was in fact lowkey embarrassed the way you spoke, because a kid? This professionally speaking? “especially when you’re alone?” He asked. “It's almost peaceful, like the world around you has disappeared. Poetic, don't you think?” you instantly replied, shifting a little to give Mr stranger some space to sit.

“Would you like to see a magic trick?” You asked, as you assembled the pieces for it.

Having nothing better to do, Chuuya decided it was worth interacting with kids and make them smile. "Sure"

"Here is the chicken and whoose! It disappeared! Isn't it amazing?" You said, showing of the spark of joy at your magic achievement.

"That's a pretty cool trick, But do you know what is more magical? This" As Chuuya proceeded to lift up a pen aimlessly using his ability.

It was a waste of time for him.

Just because the port Mafia Boss was busy with his work didn't mean he would give his duty to him, that was to take Elise to the playground.

"Akutagawa-san, sit here will I go play, I know you are annoyed but its fun to watch Rintarō worry" And with that Elise disappeared in the crowd.

Taking a seat, he noticed a kid beside him, drawing something on his notebook.

"Hello sir!, I saw you were pretty annoyed with taking care of your sibling, so i though this may cheer you up" The kid beside him said while handing him the paper which had the park drawn.

Akutagawa looked at the piece of drawing and could only nod.

Time passed by and the uneasiness to ask arises inside him, to which he finally broke the silence and asked "Aren't you suppose to play with others? Why are you wasting you childhood drawing things that wouldn't even value once you grow old"

"Why Mr stranger, did you not like the drawing? I just prefer to spend my time alone, as other seemed to be mingle with eachother quite fondly for which I would not like to break bond of"

time seemed to pass more then usual as Akutagawa would catch glimpses of the kid looking up, scribbling on the paper and drawing more.

"Akutagawa-san! Let's get back, the kids here are pretty boring to play with" Elise came back and started to drag him away.

"Mr Stranger! Don't forget to take your painting! You were a good art piece to draw! Do come back to meet me again" Y/N said, as his little legs ran towards him, as he handed the paper in Akutagawa's hand. "Oh hello little sister! Take care of brother, he seemed to be pretty annoyed!" And with that he left

Elise and Akutagawa looked at the two pieces, one of the park and other of Akutagawa smiling.

"I prefer that face with blood you know?"

Ok, so

Well, we know Fyodor's ability. Knew it had to do with transferring and unfortunately it's not by touch. I was hoping it would be through blood bc I think it's funny that a religious man's ability was a jab at the blood of the lamb. (Also the savior parallel)??? We learned that Fyodor's ability allows him to take the place of anyone that kills him. This connects directly to causation and not a direct influence (Example Bram gets switched bc he ordered the vampire to kill Fyodor.) First thing first... SIGMA WAS USELESS!?!?! Dazai figured out without him. This was a cool part to see, but also frustrating cause it implies that fucking Fyodor planned this since the beginning. He knew Dazai would watch / come to him, Bros not messing around-

Why?? Well because two were factors that could've stop Fyodor is now several kilometers away on a remote island. Even if Chuuya was to simply ditch Dazai in Mersault, it would take 10 hours for him to get there (Assuming Chuuya flies the speed of an airplane). Fyodor predicted that if Dazai were to keep an eye on him, his other half would be short behind.

This kinda sucks, because that means this annoying no u game is literally Fyodor messing with Dazai.

Fyodor had planned this since the beginning, but Dazai ALMOST got him and to the boy's credit, Fyodor may have stressed a tad bit. Now did he how he would've died; no I think he was unsatisfied with how it turned out in the end, but he was about to get away. He has a right to be nervous about Dazai, but I think he's big relieved mofo is so far away. It's also strange, because whatever Fyodor is doing, Atsushi agrees with it. What about the DOA would Dazai and Chuuya fight against? If the theory it is to end all abilities, make world peace, and end all wars - why can't they be involved??

One thing that confuses me is, when Dazai pulls out the body from the helicopter was if that was Fyodor if someone that replaced him?? Does Fyodor kill the people he switches with? Just like that is the vampire outbreak suddenly over? If he planned to keep Dazai and Chuuya in Mersault, does that mean he knew the two would fight against his goal? Something else that confused the shit out of me - Fyodor had the time sword, holy sword, and Fukuchi in his possession since the beginning. If this was part of his plan to have a vampire kill him so he can yoink the three, why did he take so long? Is it just the fact he had to wait for the page's effect to summon this... tri-singularity god. The holy sword is capable of controlling whom ever it's impaled to, but it's also possible for that thing at the end of season 5 to be the god in the time sword (using Fukuchi as a host). Also the triple singularity thing is fucking cringe. I see why but oml Asagiri making shit up and balling hard.

Up next; Bram's dead???? So the vampires are gone. Akutagawa really woke up, saw shit blow up, leave, come back with shit on his neck and dress from a whole different timeline. There is no fucking way there isn't some dimension shit, because TWO HOURS later. What did Aku do??? Leave to a fucking museum? BRO HAS METAL!?! WHERE!? HOW DOES THAT HELP YOU?? YOU CONTROL CLOTH!? !!! i came by yr blog by chance n saw u have a heaven/hell type of au !! ive always been super into those kinds of aus so!!! if u dont mind sharing ab it plz share!!!

its kinda in a rework right now since its so old and my understandings of the characters have changed since then, but essentially most of the characters die somehow relevant to canon. i haven't decided each point of death yet. i know chuuya ends up dying when the sheep turn against him, but i'm still working out the rest. i want dazai's to be after the mimic arc, but i have to figure out how to do that without kind of going back on his character, if that makes sense? kunikida doesn't die until much later, my thought was when he's saving aya. that one i'm sure of. the rest are pretty up in the air.

of course, dead at different times impacts characters' arcs and interactions as well. like how this would be a chuuya that never met the flags, and so on. this is a very, very old au though, made before stormbringer existed.

there's a concept of, in heaven, angels can choose to relax and be at peace in heaven, to become guardian angels, or to guard the border between heaven and hell. kunikida, of course, chooses to become a guardian angel. he looks over those still alive in the ada for the most part (ranpo, yosano, kenji, the tanizakis, fukuzawa... thats who i have there for now.)

fallen angels aren't welcome in either heaven or hell, and are kind of banished to idly manipulating the mortal realm. angels and demons have free passage between their respective domains and the mortal realm. those in the afterlife generally can't be seen by mortals, and in the mortal plane are more like ghosts--they can manipulate things to a certain degree, but can't really directly interact with anyone.

fallen angels lose their status in heaven by breaking too many rules and etc, too much consorting with demons, all kinds of things. they can gain back favor in heaven by influencing enough good in the mortal plane. chuuya, i have as a fallen angel that regularly regains and then loses his favor with heaven, so he's kind of in and out of the place. he has fun with it.

the mortal plane kind of becomes a place for angels, demons, fallen angels, and to a lesser extent mortals, can all mingle. some organizations on the mortal plane "know" this and are known to try to garner favor with the paramortal planes to try to influence their victories and such. so the ada & port mafia & etc can still kind of continue conflicts on the other side. its quite entertaining.

there's also those caught in limbo, they're the true ghosts, banished to be unseen in the mortal plane but cannot ever hope to have access to either heaven or hell.

atsushi is an angel, akutagawa is a demon. kyusaku my dear baby child is in limbo. i've been toying with the idea of putting oda in limbo as well. i like the idea of dazai being an angel, but he shouldn't be. we're not sure how he got there, but he is. there's more but as i said, its under some really heavy revamp.

It also makes sense, narratively speaking, for Fukuchi to be Fukuzawa and Mori's opponent (as a unit). I'm not even talking about aesthetic or age range here, it's the fact that these three characters are at the center of the conflict which started all of this: The Great War.

(This isn't to say others weren't affected or traumatized, there's Yosano and Chuuya for example, whose identities were built upon the war—but Fukuchi, Fukuzawa, and Mori fought the hardest in it, so it's likely they'd end it as well.)

The thing with BSD that I absolutely love is the fact that, since it's based off of light novels and there are multiple ongoing mangas they base it off of, we get to hop around different perspectives and plots. While we can and should unanimously agree that Atsushi is the MC, that does not make the others less integral to the narrative, especially when you think of Atsushi as the latest addition to a growing line of powerful, compatible partners, whose battles make the story run. It's in the name—shin soukoku, new double black.

(It's also worth noting that BSD is built on parallel partnerships.)

We have Atsushi, who's at the bottom of the ladder, hence why he's out there on the battlefield, fighting Akutagawa because this emo boy became a vampire. A little higher, there's Dazai and Chuuya, whose demon is Fyodor (and that's a whole different can of worms to open because we've been slapped by Dazai and Fyodor's rivalry for ages, and Fyodor's played a hand in conflicts that Dazai and Chuuya had to face together.)

Then on top is Fukuzawa, who has history with the current world enemy #1 Fukuchi. Who else would better fit the role of his partner than Mori?

Another fun little observation: this battle may have been foreshadowed from the very beginning.

"In the midst of the post-Great War chaos, Sōseki Natsume devised the Tripartite Framework, a plan that aims to preserve the balance of peace and order in Yokohama. The Special Division and the military police were tapped to oversee and handle affairs during the daytime, the Port Mafia at night, and the Armed Detective Agency in the twilight."

What's fucking up the very safety of Yokohama (and the world) right now? What's Fukuchi's motive for all of this bloodshed? What's the common link pushing the story so far? That's right, baby, war trauma and old, overpowered men.

EDIT: Also!!!!! That thing with Tachihara asking Higuchi and Hirotsu if they thought the ADA were actually terrorists!!!! It's such a perfect way to establish the connection the PM has with the ADA. Even when the whole fucking world is turning on the ADA, the PM know. I like to think that exchange served a purpose bigger than resolve Tachihara's conflicted feelings, especially since Mori approached him not long afterwards.

How BSD characters react when you can't fall asleep

ft: dazai, chuuya, atsushi, akutagawa, ranpo & kunikida

Dazai:

There is a huge chance your man is awake as well and noticed every turn and sigh of frustration.

When you turn for the umpteenth time, Dazai lets you know he's awake by making a teasing comment on your restlessness.

Naturally, this man struggles with falling asleep almost every night and knows what you're feeling. He happily stays awake with you! (it isn't like sleep is kind to him when it does come anyways.)

Would love to read you to sleep <3

Not reading out of his -eh- favorite book though, but he'd happily read one of your favorites! There's something intimate and peaceful about you resting your head on his chest, one of his arms tenderly wrapped around your frame while his other hand holds your favorite book in the depths of the night.

Dazai could also ramble and tease you for hours if you prefer that. Depending on what Dazai thinks you need, he'd either make you cackle by telling the craziest made-up stories or lull you to sleep with his soothing voice.

If you refuse to try to sleep again while Dazai knows you need it, he's going to bargain with you. No morning or awake kisses for you because you'll have to wake up for those.

Chuuya:

He's either passed out when you're struggling to catch sleep because of how demanding his job is or he still isn't back from his job. say thank you to the port mafia /s

One word: cuddles.

When you wake Chuuya up because you can't stand it anymore, the first thing Chuuya does is put his arm around your waist and tightly press you against his chest. He doesn't even say anything; the only thing his brain processes through the sleepy fog in his mind is that you need him.

Chuuya would run his fingers through your hair, play with your braids or just play with your hair in general! Chuuya doesn't even realize he's doing it, but his subconscious knows it'll comfort you.

Would also be willing to give you a little massage so your muscles can relax. Chuuya can barely keep his eyes open but that isn't a problem: he knows your body very well. With closed eyelids, he'd kiss your shoulder blades and neck, softly humming every time he removes his lips from your skin.

Soft "I love you's" fill your ears. Even if you can't fall asleep or have given up on it, the warmth of Vhuuya's love for you will embrace you no matter what.

Atsushi:

Not a deep-sleeper, so Atsushi will likely be awoken by your turning and tossing. Even if you purposefully woke him up, he doesn't mind at all.

The first thing he asks is if there's something wrong followed up by the question if there's anything he can do to help, our sweet tiger boy <3

Atsushi is naturally going to try to stay awake with you. He's immediately overloaded with this sense of wanting to help you as much as he can. He always wants to be there for you even if it's something as small as not being able to fall asleep (it also depends on the reason why you can't fall asleep ofc).

Tea tea tea!! with lots of sugar.

Sorry but you coffee addicts won't be getting any coffee.

Especially if you're hungry, Atsushi is going to make you a simple but warm meal, maybe chazuke! A filled stomach can do miracles and Atsushi knows it.

Blushes when you wrap your arms around him and thank/praise him for the good care. Bonus points if you caress his back because you got this weretiger clenching his jaw not to embarrassily pur.

Overall very supportive. He doesn't mind staying awake with you even though it makes him look like a sleepy kitten. Besides, you can always wake him up if it means he can eat chazuke with you.

Akutagawa:

He might not show immediate sympathy < / 3

The man is a light sleeper because of obvious reasons. You don't even realize your significant other has woken until he suddenly opens his eyes and asks why you're moving so loudly.

When you explain the situation, he'll turn silent for a second. Akutagawa is a fighter by instinct and his softer side doesn't come out as effortlessly as we would want to. Give him a second to think about his next response because he genuinely does care about you.

Tea, the answer is tea. With lots of sugar at your service as well.

Akutagawa silently watches you. It's almost creepy how his eyes won't leave the sight of you while you stop your rant about how you're unable to catch sleep to sip the tea he made for you.

Akutagawa too isn't unfamiliar with sleepless nights. When your glass is empty, your boyfriend commands you to tuck yourself well under the covers (unless it's a hot summer day).

Right when you think that was it, you feel his fingers touching yours for a second. They are gone immediately.... until you feel them again. Your fingers lock with one another and slowly, Akutagawa tightens his grip. He thinks about the time his friends would tell each other a good night story when the other couldn't sleep.

Akutagawa surprisingly is a fascinating storyteller with the way he adds a poetic touch to every emotion, thought, and action.

Not only will it help you fall asleep or at least find peace in this darkness, but you can also see through your half-closed eyelids that Akutagawa has a serene look on his face. You're not the only one who finds peace in this interaction.

Ranpo:

First of all, this man is ten times more clingy when sleepy. When you wake him up because the frustration of not catching sleep becomes too much, he will cling to you like a koala while hiding his face in your neck.

Asks in a whiny tone why you had to wake him up and when you answer it is because you can't sleep, he'll immediately know the reason why (even if you don't know yourself).

Based on that, Ranpo will change his attitude. Although, he'll mostly try to distract and tire your mind.

After a midnight snack, that is! It is never too early or late to eat candy in Ranpo's humble opinion. It's also a good way to distract you since your man knows his stuff about candy.

Keeps you busy with those candy knits and teaches you everything (if he hadn't shown you already).

Afterwards, Ranpo convinces you to have a cuddle session on the futon so you could try to fall asleep again. When Ranpo has his head rested on your stomach with his hands wrapped around you while you play with his hair, you both realize how lucky you're to have each other.

Kunikida:

You are bit unsure at first the minute you give up on falling asleep whether you should wake Kunikida or not. After all, being woken up by his lovely significant other is not a part of Kunikida's schedule.

However, Kunikida already noticed that you stopped tossing but also concluded due to your breathing and groan of frustration that you were not successful in catching sleep.

Even if you had to wake him up, this man would not mind at all. Quite the opposite, he's going to ask in a concerned and slightly disorientated tone what's wrong (almost panics because oh no did he sleep through his alarm?).

Listens patiently to your frustrations on how you can't fall asleep, and also to the reasons of why if you know them.

Also one of the guys to make tea for you <3

When you say there's no need and that you can do it yourself because this was not part of his schedule, Kunikida responds: "Nonsense. You're always a part of my schedule. I have this exact scenario written under my emergency ones."

Back in bed, Kunikida wraps an arm around you as you nestle your face in his chest, making him unwillingly give a sigh of contentment.

If you still can't fall asleep, he will rattle on about his schedule and everything written in his notebook until you fall asleep.

If you haven't one already, Kunikida forces you the morning after to participate in his night routine because structure can do a lot <3

ok im finally here with the spy au stuff. sorry this took me so long i suddenly got Extremely Ill and couldnt really do much but im BACK baby.

AKUTAGAWA - ohhhh akutagawa… poor thing. this is about The Most devastating thing that could possibly happen to him. i could see him not realizing he loves darling in time just by virtue of arrogance, similar to fyodor. he doesnt think he’d ever deign to have something as silly as affection for someone like… you. preposterous. doesnt help that he has dazai’s voice in his ear at every second. but, well, here he is: stuck adoring somebody who hates him, and knowing it’s all his fault. although deep in despair, ever the devotee, he will gracefully take any punishment darling throws at him- granted they stay by his side. you might not think so, what with all the ‘stabbing you a hundred times with his jacket’ business he put you through, but you’re truly the safest by HIS side, you’ll see! no one can protect you as well as he can! you can spit at him, scream at him, hurt him, tell him all the ways you despise him; he’ll accept it all, but he won’t- *can’t* let go of you. he needs to keep you safe, it’s the only way he can make up for his sins.

DAZAI - oh christ. if you thought akutagawa had attachment issues get a load of this guy. i could see him REALLY shooting himself in the dick by also getting a bit of torture in before “killing” you- either cuz you suddenly started being cagey with information and he was approaching his deadline or just cuz he felt like it at the time. dazai is… very jarring. his emotional state is such that he feels this very suddenly and very violently, and his demeanor is very dependent on what he’s feeling. this is all to say that when you and dazai meet again, the version of dazai you knew- the manipulative nihilist who kissed your cheek within the same hour he broke all your fingers with a pair of pliers- is all but gone. he’s been replaced with some sopping wet cat of a man who looks honest-to-god shattered at your rejections. and he really IS like a pet cat who just realized hes in trouble, or maybe more of a stray who learned the hard way that people stop feeding you after you maul them. anything he can think of to get even a SECOND of your affection he’ll do, and i do mean anything. he’ll debase himself, scream, cry, beg, kill, anything he thinks will do the job. just please please please please PLEASE dont run away from him he loves you so much please stay he needs you please….

CHUUYA - i think hes the least likely to make this mistake just cuz he seems pretty self-possessed, but i could also see him getting very swept up in the little competition he made up in his head and not thinking his actions through very well. also DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL he’s gonna be the LAST guy to admit his feelings in this circumstance, just cuz admitting it would be much too painful so his brain just rejects it. i mean, the fella kicked you so hard into the wall it made a crater, he can STILL hear the echoes of your bones crunching in his head every time he closes his eyes, thats HARDLY the actions of a man in love. besides, even if you DID somehow survive that, youd never take him back (not that he wants that lol no way) so it’s not even worth thinking about. theres gonna be a lot of waking up from a drunken stupor only to find himself in your old apartment or surrounded by your possessions in a nest and some extremely pitying glances from kouyou before he lets himself accept what he feels and what he did. any peace he manages to make with this over time will immediately shatter what he hears that youve been spotted wandering around the city. our boy is going off the deep end instantly. 

FYODOR -it doesn’t really come as a shock that fyodor didn’t realize his feelings for you til pretty late in the game, given that he’s a black hole where emotions go to die. UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT i can very easily see fyodor feeling guilt over the whole Trying To Kill His Darling debacle, its just that he doesnt really have any kind of handle on this feeling at all. all he can process is that you’re scared of him/mad at him and this makes him feel this Mysterious Bad Feeling™ that he doesnt know what to do with. it occurs to him that he could very easily just make you compliant with him by fiddling with your brain like he did to ivan, but this makes the Bad Feeling worse. he doesnt want you to be a smiling puppet, he wants YOU, as strange as this desire is to him. all the little things used to do that had gotten on his nerves or perplexed him he now feels this alien yearning for. he feels this full body frost whenever he hears you crying through the door of your (cell) room, the distinct sensation of oncoming sickness. he finds himself very hesitant to put his hands on you, or even enter your line of sight out of fear of disturbing and upsetting you. odd. expect him to creepily watch you sleep a lot after he kidnaps you, enjoying seeing your face at peace for once. 

GOGOL - clown boy has established he feels guilt over things as much as the next guy, so ohhh BOY is he not gonna handle this too good. honestly, i could see his guilt overwhelming him to the point where he refuses to kidnap you or approach you again at all. he had his chance and made his choice, best to let his birdie be free now, yes? of course, he doesnt let you go TOTALLY. he has his eye on you as often as his schedule will allow. definitely dons disguise after disguise as an excuse to get close to you, maybe even makes up a persona that works at a shop you frequent so he gets to talk to you every day. eventually his mind might fray to the point where he cant STAND it anymore and NEEDS to get you back no matter what, especially if he insists on prolonged exposure to you, but hed probably try to avoid upsetting you as much as he can. youll give in eventually, hes going to be the only person youre ever going to be close to again, after all, so theres no need to force anything. he can convince you of his sincerity, hes sure of it.

also bonus i think this concept would also work really well with jouno what do you think. couldnt think of anything for kouyou sorry :/

akutagawa is constantly tormented with his feelings for you. he knows he doesn't have the time to be in love, since he has more important things to do like make dazai recognize him, but he doesn't have a handle on himself. he can't put a lid on the wonderfully complex things he feels for you, and that's why it manifests the way it did. besides, he can't imagine actually tolerating, let alone liking, you, with all your kindness and concern that was long beaten out of him.

you've always been so kind to him, looking out for him, talking to him, treating him like anyone else. but all he could do in response was nod to your questions. akutagawa himself hasn't been shown a lot of affection so his way of showing his feelings is...awkward. he didn't know how to be friendly or be loved, but you didn't seem to care. and then when he finally, finally identified the cause of his palpitating heart and distracted mind, when he finally came to terms with what he felt, everything went wrong. you weren't supposed to find out, and you weren't supposed to get hurt. you weren't supposed to hate him, even if everyone else did.

he had been prepared to face the anger from his coworkers when they found out he fell for the enemy, but he wasn't planning on you finding out the way you did. and the look on your face, the hatred and the betrayal, it broke him. akutagawa, having lost everything already, grovels at your feet. he's desperate for another chance, but he doesn't dare complain, not when you ignore him and scorn him, not when you refuse to even acknowledge him.

he has hope, though, that one day you'd realize he only wanted to keep you safe. he only wants to show you that he's worth keeping around. you saved him before, and he only wanted to repay the favor forever. your organization was down and yokohama was far from safe, but with akutagawa by your side, nobody would dare touch a hair on your head.

dazai well, it's established he hates you from the moment he was assigned the spying mission. of course he hates you and the dates you planned out and the meals you make and the hand holding and the kissing and the...warmth he never gets elsewhere...and...the adoring way you look at him...and....and...

what was he thinking? you were just a target!

dazai has so many dilemmas during this mission because he's conflicted with hating you for being so damn annoying and feeling something because you're head over heels for an asshole like him, but let's say he pushes down the growing good he feels for you, shoves it away and sticks with hating you constantly for the purpose of this scenario. when the gig's up and you find out he was using you to get intel, there's no point in pretending anymore. no point in going along with your affectionate touches and asking about your day.

dazai has to rely on his usual, faithful method of getting intel—interrogation. he pretends like he doesn't care about hurting your feelings, pretends like it's just another job and it doesn't affect him if you're scared or crying. he doesn't care what you think of him now, of course not.

but right after it's all done, he's drowning in regret. he can't even remember what you told him, he just wants to take it all back. he scared you terribly, he knows he probably traumatized you and he can't undo it anymore. he tries, though, of course he does. at one point you were hopelessly infatuated with him despite how mean he was, so if he was the complete opposite now, you'd definitely look back at him, right? you'll be satisfied seeing him suffer for your sake, right? he'll happily beg for your forgiveness and debase himself if you'd feel even a little satisfied. if there's no way for you to forgive him, then he'll just have to go all out. he'll pull out all the stops and do everything in his power.

(i think dazai would definitely kick into the typical "i'll kill for you" yandere thing around here, hoping that by killing your enemies you'd appreciate him. he can't stand knowing other people were around you, people you had no reason to hate unlike him. what if you liked them instead? you liked dazai despite his shortcomings, so you could also fall for someone else that wasn't him. he couldn't have that)

chuuya (hehehe ive been waiting for this) feels the most guilt out of everyone in this list. i find it hard to imagine him actually hurting darling even if it's for the pm, like you said, he has the most self-control. in the original post of spy au! chuuya, he's completely obsessed with you and ends up scaring you off since you realize something's off, which leads to him finding your new place and what not. so i'll use the premise of him feeling guilty for scaring you and you kinda hating him for being a creep :>

he can't bring himself to hurt you, so knowing he's frightened you, knowing you hate him for what he believed was showing concern for you because he loved you, it shattered him. he didn't mean for you to think that he had it out for you or that he was going to kill you just because he worked for the enemy organization. he loved you and he only wanted you to be safe. he only wanted to get to know you so you'd love him back.

he allows himself to suffer, drinking a dangerous amount almost every night, staying in the apartment you used to instead of his own, looking at all the things he bought you and imagining you using them. it's pathetic to see how he's turned into a helpless, lovesick fool that can't even get you to look twice at him anymore. he tries to throw away the feelings he had, he avoids any mention of you and drowns himself in work and alcohol, but it's only a matter of time before the two of you cross paths again and he's unable to hold back from breaking down and begging you to take him back.

since i don't have a planned out story for fyodor in this spy au i'll make it up as i go. probably some info stealing for the doa, he can't exactly ask anyone else to go. bram is...in an awkward state, kamui is far too much of a public figure, sigma is too busy with the casino, and nikolai...there's no guarantee he won't just kill you, and fyodor can't have that, not after all his efforts to track you down and choose you for his mission. you should be honored, really, that he's giving you such an important role in his plans. maybe he could even convince you to join his side and completely sell out your organization.

everyone knows fyodor would be successful in his mission, and they know he'd get you wrapped around his finger very quickly. of course you don't think there's a single suspicious thing about this strange man who suddenly walked through the doors of your life and is somehow always around you and wow he's so nice and wow, isn't this moving too fast? but fyodor has that way of reassuring you with a smile and gentle strokes that there was nothing to worry about, and who were you to question him then?

you try to make him happy. he's always a bit emotionless, always a neutral expression on his face so you can't really tell if he's upset or happy when you greet him with a kiss. or is that surprise on his face? you don't know if he likes you holding his hand or if he wants to hear about your day, but one reassuring squeeze of the hand and an acknowledging hum sends you happily continuing your earlier actions. fyodor is a little surprised by your efforts to make him feel included. he's used to silence except for nikolai's random interruptions, but having you constantly by his side isn't the worst. compared to the miserable people in the world, you weren't nearly as unbearable for him.

fyodor is mostly surprised by how disappointed you look when it all blows over, and his identity is revealed. you're not disappointed at him, but at yourself for falling for a lie, and causing your coworkers deaths. he was too good to be true, you think, and you blame yourself for falling for his tricks. trust one charming stranger, and look where that got you? in some obscure prison cell and subjected to cruel questioning.

it's not very satisfying seeing you cry and rub at your red eyes. it's far from nice when you're ignoring him and boiling with resentment. and well, he shouldn't care. you had one purpose in his plan and it was now fulfilled. you should be happy you had a chance to help out in the making of fyodor's goals, but here you were sobbing so uncontrollably. he's a little uncomfortable seeing you look so devastated, and he's uneasy now that you don't tell him anything anymore. it's unfamiliarity that haunts him because you've changed, and not for the better. if he sees you opening up around sigma, who was the most ordinary person in the building, he's a little troubled by it, but you glaring at him with burning hatred is even worse than seeing you talk to someone else, so he just leaves the room.

despite the unhelpful suggestions he gets from the rest, he doesn't want you to lose your mind like ivan, even if the latter claims he isn't unhappy anymore. watching you when you sleep1!! yes, the only time he feels he can be around you now, when you're unaware of his presence. he doesn't like it, doesn't like having to walk on eggshells and hide from you like he was in the wrong. which he shouldn't be. he was only saving you from that hellhole and that shitty organization that never stood a chance against him. if he left you back there, you'd be dead. shouldn't you be grateful?

considering nikolai is like, the master of disguises, this mission should have been a piece of cake. get intel, and then he can do whatever he wants to you and your friends. this was a fun break for him! he was asked to join the company you worked for (a front for the organization) as a new hire and gather all the intel he could, but he didn't think he'd get attacked to anyone on the job.

you were surprisingly excited to guide him around the office, taking the senior role with pride. nikolai doesn't let it slip that he doesn't care about what you do or where the break room is, so he happily follows you around and shares your enthusiasm. you're all friendly and helpful to him, and he doesn't mind at all but it was a little annoying when he was trying to bug a meeting room and you just came around the corner, insisting he check out the new coffee machine. well, despite how irritating it got, he couldn't bring himself to dislike you for it.

and really, he can't help but tease you a little, watching the startled expression when he stares at you a little too coldly for a little too long, or lets it casually slip that he knew about the organization, though he's a little surprised by how quickly you bounce back to your usual carefree manner. oh, but the fun hadn't started yet! he was mostly looking forward, to the after. he couldn't wait to see your expression when you realize you've been cheated all along, and how you were going to die by his hands—

—but when the day came, it wasn't even a little satisfying to see you crumble. he didn't expect to be consumed entirely with guilt when he sees you tear up, hurt in your eyes. something inside him aches; he knows he's not invulnerable to feeling like this, but this intensity of emotion was new. he can't bear to look at you, facing the horror etched into your face at the sight of him, so he just disappears into his coat, leaving you somewhere far away from the devastation.

despite how much he yearns to be free he can't let you experience the same, unable to stop thinking about you. he checks in on you from time to time, hoping you'd try seeking him out. after all, he was the only other person who knew what happened, and you couldn't rely on anyone like you could on him. he knew you better than anyone else, all your secrets and your thoughts, and you'd need him by your side.

he'll definitely give into his urges and kidnap you eventually. he can't bear to be away from you, not after he knows you're probably feeling lonely, not knowing anyone else who could understand you. well, you probably didn't want to see the man who ruined your life, but it wasn't like you had many options. he's sorry that he hurt you, really! nikolai promises to be good, to go back to being the guy you befriended, but only if you promise to stay by his side.

Dish Descriptions:

Sleeping Tiger:

Atsushi’s specialty. A warm bowl of tea with a dash of seaweed and within it is some rice shaped into an adorable tiger. Atsushi mentioned that chazuke is his favourite as it was easy to put together with just some simple ingredients but you can tell he put in a lot of effort into making it, you almost feel bad eating it because of the cute little tiger sleeping in the bowl.

Sweet Release:

Dazai’s specialty, Crab legs that are already deshelled for your convenience and as you try the dish the taste has a slight sweetness to it that really goes well with the butter crab. You hesitated on trying the mushrooms but Dazai reassured that they are harmless.

Dormant Destruction:

Akutagawa’s specialty. As ominous looking as the dish is, it has a surprisingly pleasant taste having the right balance of a nutty and earthy flavour to it, there was a lot of thought put into this down to how the soba is presented on the plate. You finish up the whole thing satisfied and you begin to question if Ryunosuke is as bad as you assumed.

Peace of Mind:

Chuuya’s specialty. From someone who has serious temper issues you didn’t expect such a delicate looking dish to be made by him, the well seasoned unagi was sliced into very uniform strips with sauce drizzled into an intricate design. Chuuya seems to be the type to prefer a bit more class to his style. You feel very light as you try out the nicely cooked fillet.

What he was not expecting was for you to smile and move closer to him. "What? Are you a coward?" "Do you have a death wish?" "Then why did you look at me when I called you that?" His blade slowly came down as he stared at you a bit more, then went back on drinking his tea. You rolled your eyes and then turned your head to the opposite direction, and started whining to yourself in a low voice. "Well what am I even expecting from you. You don't care if I even die or anything. I come to your office everyday trying to make conversation but all you do is just ignoring me. You don't even look at me! Like, do you hate me that much? But why? what did I d-" your words were immediately cut off by the sensation of his hand on your head, slowly patting you; And when you looked at him, he was looking back, and not in a threatening way. "Good job" Now it was your turn to be silent. Not because you wanted to get back at him; but because you were caught off guard and didn't know how to react. "Happy? Now shut up and let me have my tea in peaceful silence"

And were risking our lives by working in the mafia! I nearly died a while ago on the mission! And do you know what they did? Nothing! Nobody even bothered to sat "Thanks for working this hard" or "are you ok?" or "Well done" or- " "Well done. I'm proud of you" Frozen in the spot, you look at him with surprise and shock, while he gives you a small smile that melts your heart. "Awwwwwwwww Chuuuuuu! Waaaaaaaa!" My name?! How persistent. It's Chuuya, Nakahara Chuuya. The name's a bit well-known in my old school, you know.

Verlaine: Have you... ever felt solitude? True solitude is that of a lone comet that flies in space. Even a lonely comet with no hope of being healed can still fly side by side with others, as long as they have the same loneliness and the same temperature.

Me? I am Chuuya's brother.

2. Please tell us something memorable that happened today.

Chuuya: I don't want to remember it, but it would be Verlaine coming to school. Seriously, please stop it. Don't ride my bike without asking for permission. Nah, don't ride it even if you ask. Don't just use stuff from my fridge and make a bento. I make my own bento, you know!

Verlaine: I rode Chuuya's bicyle and it was a pretty pleasant ride. Aside from that, hmm... There was a familiar face in Chuuya's school, so I went to "greet" them. They apparently became a teacher there while I was in France, so I went to ask them to take care of my brother.

However, they were out when I got there, so I will go see them again some other time.

3. Is there anything you're engrossed with recently?

Chuuya: Ever since I transferred here I haven't played it much, but it's billiards. In my old school, I used to play it with my childhood friends whenever we see each other.

Ah, I hope they're doing well. When I transferred I got a bicycle from this guy Albatross and I really like it. It's a bright red and flashy one.

Verlaine: My brother is light in weight so as his brother I am worried. I have been making "bento" that Gin taught me. Gin's brother has a weak body and she said that she makes good meals for him too. That brother's name is uh... Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, I think?

Once you start it, you'll find it profound and interesting. So even if Chuuya doesn't like it, I still make it. Today he forgot the bento, so I took the effort to bring it to him. I didn't have a bag for it so I put it in my attache case, and the contents of the bento did not get mixed up so I think it's okay.
