i got bored so i randomized the quarry & until dawn character names and it came up with some odd duos. here's a few:

Mike & Abigail (mike and ashley core? also VERRY different depending on if its earlygame mike or lategame mike. two diff people fr)

Jess & Kaitlyn (god kaitlyn would hate her till she realizes jess is just really insecure and faking it till she makes it, then i think she'd grow to like her)

Emily & Jacob (oh no. just...jacob will fall head over heels for her and she'll drag him around like she does with matt but worse bc he's so dumb oh no jacob run)

Hannah & Ryan (wait that's actually a little silly. perhaps. they're both pretty quiet i think, they might get along but hannah might crush on him bc he's mysterious)

Chris & Emma (i think emma would try to push him out of his shell a bit because he's awkward around people, once he's comfortable i bet he'd joke with her like he does with jess, aka teasing and pranking)

SLYTHERIN BOYS WITH A BLACK FEM!READER WHO IS TALL LIKE MEGAN THEE STALLION

A/N: tbh I randomly had the energy to write this late in night cause Megan is so gorgeous!! I appreciate reblogs, comments, and such as likes. Also I looked up the heights of the characters so I’m sorry this seems weird lol.

Honestly, all the Slytherin boys are tall asf..while you stand at 5’10. (Which is Megan’s irl height.) so you still are tall, just not a full taller height than the boys.

Tom is 5’11. Taller than you by an inch. He doesn’t care about your height or his. But he is impressed at how you do tower over some of the Slytherin girls and Hogwarts girls. He thinks you are definitely worth a chatting to.

Mattheo being 6’1 like Theodore, (I’ve always imagined him to be at least a little shorter than Theo) he likes to think you two can be a good couple. You rejected him of course but hey. At least he respects it. He does find it hot how tall you are against some girls.

Draco is only 5’9, so you’re taller than him by an inch. Personally you still make it seem like he’s shorter than you by a lot which makes him mad. But he can’t stay mad at you since it is kinda funny when you do it. And only you. If someone is else did it, he’s complaining to you completely.

Blaise, he’s 6’3. He’s a practically towering over you a bit. But still, you two are giants to others from afar. Every time you two walk together, there’s gossip about how you two look so cool together.

Theodore, being the tall bastard of 6’1. You two are very close in height. So of course you two are kinda like the tall duo.

And Lorenzo for final finds you very beautiful for a tall woman despite the others. He’s 6’0 (had to look at the fancasted actor height. Don’t judge me 🙁) He’s like a puppy in love with you, following you around and helping you carry your book bags and book. Literally smitten with you. Loves when you call him “baby” and cup his face. It makes him melt so fast.

Personally the Slytherin boys love how cool you are, and how you are a very intelligent person. They are like overprotective brothers and friends to you. Lorenzo is full snake mode when it comes to you. Immediately he wants to poison the people who mess with you like a poisonous snake

Definitely Lorenzo is the one. He’s immediately devoted to defend you from people who dare to make fun of you. They are not going to get at you, or towards you. They have to answer to him. Literally.

God when you do a slick back move line Draco but better….you better pray Lorenzo doesn’t go crazy asf. Cause he actually does. He wants to gatekeep how beautiful you are…but he hates it when other men try to holler at you.

And when they fail, Lorenzo is just smiling like a cheeky bastard.

Mattheo always teases the Berkshire male about how whipped he is for you. And Enzo but admit he is. See you’re an unbothered queen. You let haters lol dumb while karma gets to them.

“Hey big foot!” A girl yelled at you from across the great hall. You were just relaxing with your boys when she yelled. You turned around unbothered and looked ahead of yourself. Not giving a fuck if she thinks she can get under your skin. The riddles narrowed their eyes at the girl meanwhile Draco mumble how his “father will hear about this. Lorenzo is immediately sat up which lead you to put your hand on his arm. Calling him down a bit as he looks at you. “Boys calm down. It ain’t worth a second to get all mad about a bitch who can’t do shit but hate.” You say, smirking. You knew karma was gonna get her way. And it did when she ended up in the hospital wing. The thing was you didn’t do a single thing. Someone did.

Honestly Blaise is the person you allow to put your hair in a protective style. And he loves it. He sometimes brag to the other which made mattheo. Being the cocky one, to go up and not demand. Heavens no, if he had demand you to let him do your hair. You would’ve depulso him across the room and out your dorm. So you taught him how to do your hair.

Blaise and you just relaxing, listening to music as you give him a silk bonnet is definitely something that will happen time to time

Draco and you have self care days which bring you two together a lot.

Honestly with you being nicknamed “titan”, Theo would definitely pick you up. Making you two combined as a ladder. The same goes for Blaise as well.

It’s relaxing all day, evening, and night.

They love you dearly and you love them back.

late night gaming

i.n x gn!reader – fluff ; gamer!jeongin ; college au

a/n – i’ve been hoping to write something like this ever since i found out that i.n plays overwatch… it’s one of my favorite games and i like to imagine how fun it would be to get to game with him (and the other members of skz of course) also lmk if y’all would be interested in a pt 2! 

Late into the night, bluish-purple light seeps under the doorway of your bedroom. Every now and then, flashes of varying colors find their way into the mix. Your fingers move swiftly over your keyboard and mouse as your character turns in-game, taking shots at the enemy team. The payload is so close to creeping into the final point when–

Your character falls to the ground. You’ve been eliminated by fnncfx on Widowmaker. You hit your desk lightly with your fist, frustrated. “How did they even hit me? I swear I was behind that wall in time,” you mutter, watching the kill feed. You sigh and continue, exiting the spawn and getting back into the fight. Less than a minute later, it happens again. The same fnncfx gets a headshot, taking you out once more, just as quickly as you rejoined the battle.

The more it happens, the more frustrated you feel. Hoping to end the infuriating cycle, you switch to Sombra. If they’re going to keep targeting you, it’s only fair you do the same! You track down the Widowmaker and swiftly eliminate them. Within seconds, a message pops up in match chat:

You roll your eyes and choose to ignore it. The game goes on for another minute or two, and you help your team by eliminating the Widowmaker at least twice more. As the timer runs out, your team finally completes the objective, and the word “Victory!” plasters itself across the screen. Before the game ends, you notice a small string of messages in the match chat:

fnncfx: ggs, except sombra fnncfx: i know ur mad i kept killing you lol

In a fit of frustration, you click on their profile and press the “add friend” button. You don’t really need to, but you want to talk to them and explain yourself. Almost as soon as you do, they add you back. You invite them to your group, eager to express your frustration. They accept and join in.

“You know I had to switch characters so you would stop eliminating me, right? You didn’t have to be such a jerk about it,” you huff, leaning towards your monitor.

There’s a pause. You stare at your screen, face illuminated by the glow. Why aren’t they responding yet? Did something go wrong?

“...Is this y/n?” he finally says, breaking the silence. As he speaks, your heart drops into your stomach. You recognize that voice instantly. It’s Jeongin– the cute guy from your math class. What is he doing playing this game? How did you end up in the same lobby? Your mind races. You’ve admired Jeongin from afar all semester- he’s the one you glance at in class, hoping he’ll notice you. And now here he is, in the same game, talking to you. Getting lost in your own thoughts, you almost forget to respond.

“I- uh- yes, hi! Oh my gosh, I didn’t- I didn’t think I’d run into you in this game! I’m so sorry, I hope I didn’t come across as rude or- or anything…” You stumble over your words, your voice trailing off as you put your face in your hands. You feel like you’ve seriously messed up.

He laughs.

You look up, your face warm. Despite the circumstances, you can’t help but think about how absolutely cute that sounded.

“I didn’t know you played this game, that’s actually pretty cool,” he says, his voice reminding you of liquid gold. It sounds warm and soothing, just like how you remember hearing it in class. 

“Yeah, I’ve had it for a while. I don’t play much stuff like this, but I guess this game is just different.” You shrug, leaning back into your chair a little bit. Knowing he isn’t upset as of this moment brings you a bit more peace. 

“Would you maybe… want to play a few games as a duo?”

Your eyes light up. He actually wants to play with you? He wasn’t going to ditch you immediately? 

You don’t even wait a moment before giving him a confident “That would be amazing!”

The two of you play through a few matches and do rather well, especially since he’s quite good at the game. You both find yourselves having a great time, giggling at the characters who seem to have no idea what is going on. You work together to take down enemy team after enemy team, barely losing any games.

After some time, you can hear him let out a sharp sigh. “I hate to do this to you, especially because I’m enjoying this so much, but I think I have to get going. My roommate Felix says he needs me to run it back in some scrimmages; I forgot I told him yesterday that I’d help out with that. I hope that’s alright…” He goes quiet, clearly disappointed to have some prior commitment. 

You frown, but aren’t too surprised. Of course someone as talented as him would be on some sort of gaming team. “For sure, that’s okay! I still had a great time; I would love to do this again, if you’d be down for that.”

“Yeah, totally! Why don’t you write down my number, and I’ll text you when I have time to do this again.” 

You can feel your face turning red at the idea of getting his number. This is someone you’ve admired from afar all semester, and now he wants to talk to you more. You feel like you’re in the clouds right now, your head spinning. 

He tells you the digits of his phone number and you swiftly enter them into your phone, then send him a text so he knows yours as well. 

“Okay, well you have a goodnight, y/n! It was great talking to you.” You can hear him smiling on the other side of his screen, and you can’t help but wonder if he’s blushing too. After he leaves the group, you log off out of the game and turn off your computer. You stand up from your chair and fall back onto your bed, wrapping yourself in the sheets. Giddy laughter escapes as you kick your feet in excitement. The thought that the most attractive boy in your class just gave you his number swirls in your mind, like a dream you never want to end. It still feels so surreal that he seems to at least tolerate- if not actually like- someone like you. As you hold your phone close to your chest, you slowly drift away into a deep sleep, dreaming of what could come of this newfound friendship, or maybe something more…

First of all, everyone """kinda""" likes Tunner, but not in a way of him being a good person, but more an authoraty. (even though, there are some sprunkis that genuiely enjoy him, like Gray and erm... uhm... Sky?)

Wenda and Pinki really respect each other, not only as friends, but as both persons that increases on eachothers life in a good way. (Kinda, I imagine they like Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, but way less dramatic and with way less death involving it.)

Jevin and Pinki are kinda of "what you do is amazing, and you're and incredible person". Kinda simple, way much then you'd expect.

Jevin and Oren are kinda son and dad? Oren is just chill around with Him, somehow. Maybe it's 'cuz he's the only one that actually gets him.

Durple and Fun boy get to be amuzed by eachtoher everytime they have an conversation, even though they always talk, they still find an new thing about eachother everyday. (It has been 2 years already and they still learn from each other).

Wenda and Garnold are cousins.

Oren, Simon and Fun boy are brothes (Fun boy it's adopted)

Jevin and Tunner got to be the official responsibles of sky.

Garnold and Clurk takes care of fun boy (they see eachother as family now)

They just stare at each other on the street and get awkard.

Pinki and Oren date. Not even the other sprunkis know how due to Oren's personality.

Vineria and Owackx are married (exactly 1 year)

Clurk and Garnold are dating.

Oren and Raddy are queerbait.

Pinki and Wenda are dommed.

An untentional love triangle. I will not go any further on this.

It's kinda hard to see, but there ya go.

Pinki is besties with Wenda and Jevin. Although Jevin and Wenda knows are chill about it.

Raddy and Gray are good friends (they get eachother)

Jevin and Owackx are bffs, two chill guys that talk about life alot.

Tunner and Simon are one sided relationship.

Brud and Clurk are besties. (Garnold is a bit jealous)

Somehow Durple understands Simon better then anyone else (the coldest human vs the harmest robot)

Raddy is basically friends with everyone who's open enough to talk with.

Even though Vineria ain't bffs with neither Wenda or Pinki, she's still part of girl's grup.

Gray tries to be friends with people but alot of ppl thinks he's weird (poor guy it's just autistic...)

Sky is basically Tails, so everything envolving robotic amazes him. That's why he loves Durple.

Somehow the only actual friend Tunner has is Wenda. Heh....

Wenda 'n Simon are buds, sometimes they talk. They're pretty much chill.

Alot of beef. Most of sprunkis dislike Wenda and Simon.

Most reasons for W is 'cuz she is scary for them, for Oren it's 'cuz he's an asshole.

Pinki and Tunner mutually dislike eachother, but for 0 reasons.

Like I said before, Oren it's kinda of an emotionall asshole who kinda hates everything and everyone. (He basically have a beef with everyone)

Everyone fears Wenda. Like I said, there ain't an reason further then "she's weird".

Even though Vineria is friends with pinki, she fears what she can do (lore, not going any further on this topic).

Sky just doesn't get a good vibe from Pinki.

Vineria kinda fears Jevin, he's way too chill and sweet about everything, he looks more mystherious than he actually pretend to be (only on her perspective...)

Tunner CAN'T feel safe around most sprunkis. He's terrified with the idea of anyone getting an deep conection with him. Even though this idea is impossible (since he still tries to talk genuiely with a very few sprunkis) he's still pretty much reserved "Trust no one and you'll never get in danger".

No one really got to know Tunner better. And with all of that, he's still somehow pretty sociable.

Who in Nekoma is Photogenic?? 

Kuroo: Has a bit of a dorky smile and his hair never behaves but not that bad, at least he looks genuinely happy. He prefers candid photos over posed ones even if he looks silly. Also the type to get very sentimental over pictures, he loves to scroll through his camera roll every once in a while and laugh at them with his friends. Later in life he keeps physical photo albums and his JVA office is covered in picture frames.

Yaku: As the objectively coolest guy on Nekoma how could he not be photogenic? A closed-mouth smiler but he makes it look good, the lighting always seems to work in his favor too. He prefers sitting/crouching photos cause they don't emphasize his height.

Kai: THE BEST SMILE, he always looks the happiest to be there. He's usually the one offering to take photos of everyone else but then Kuroo and Yaku yell at him to ask a stranger so they can all be in it. Teases Yaku for fixing his hair beforehand cause y'know. Buzzcut.

Kenma: You just know he's hitting you with a classic Kenma squint. Can't smile on command nor does he bother trying, he groans when someone suggests taking a photo and complains until it's over. But sometimes Kuroo will hit him with a sneak attack and he looks radiant for some reason??

Tora: Can't fake a smile to save his life, looks like he's shitting himself in every photo. He's the type of guy to ask for a countdown but it never helps. Ironically one of the only ones who actually cares about his looks in photos so yeah he's just suffering.

Fukunaga: Either the cutest little cat smile or staring into space like he's having war flashbacks, no inbetween. Does bunny ears on whoever's in front of him or something weird that people only notice days later. Master at photo bombing.

Lev: I hate to say it but he's the most photogenic on the team, he does become a model after all. It's so effortless for him, it always seems to be golden hour when someone pulls a camera out in his presence. Pisses off everyone, especially Yaku who tries to catch him off-guard to prove that he's not that photogenic. This only frustrates him further ("HOW DO YOU STILL LOOK LIKE A MAGAZINE MODEL EATING CEREAL?!")

Inuoka: A goofy grin to rival Kuroos, he's just excited to be there. Sometimes him and Shibayama plan cute little duo poses together, they'd totally have a connected senior quote. Usually does a peace sign or a wave, something with his hands.

Shibayama. There's a 50% chance he's closing his eyes in every photo they take. One of the only ones who cares about how he looks along with Tora, he fusses with his hair a lot and always thinks he looks bad even when it's fine. Has worried about it less since Inuoka made photos more fun.

Teshiro: The photographer goes "Hey Teshiro, can you try smiling?" and he's like "am I not??". Completely straight-faced no matter how hard he tries, canonically he's kinda self-concious about his eyebrows so I don't think he'd like photos very much. Tried open-lipped smiling once and people thought he was gnashing his teeth so he never did it again.

bokuto + ushijima

- first of all, part of my reasoning is that it would be funny as fuck

- HOWEVER: bokuto is kinda gullible, takes a lot of what he’s told at face value without questioning it. he’s honest and open about his emotions

- ushijima is VERY literal, also takes things at face value, and doesn’t generally understand other people if they aren’t being direct

- bokuto’s inability to keep anything to himself would actually be helpful for ushijima

- he’d never be confused about bokuto’s emotional state which (as we know) is not something he would pick up on unless he was told

- bokuto would also benefit from being around someone who was incapable of sparing his feelings (ego probably would take a hit at first, but i think as an adult he’d be more capable of handling it)

- also bokuto is insanely social so he wouldn’t stop trying until he and ushijima were friends

- bonus: he’d get to hang out with tendou which would be fun for him

tendou + tanaka

- they are both insane

- high energy, like messing with people, weird hair

- somewhat self-centered but still socially aware

- i think tanaka would find tendou entertaining and i think tendou would find tanaka funny

- also the potential for them fucking with people to an honestly diabolical degree? yeah, i’m sat for that

- i think they would both mess with ushijima, but i don’t think they’d ever actually be mean— and they’re smart enough to know some of their friends should be left alone (…iwaizumi….daichi….oikawa but only because oikawa would put an honestly neurotic effort into getting revenge—which could only be learned through experience)

nishinoya + kuroo

- i mean… i feel like this one is obvious

- obsessed with themselves, enjoy causing chaos

- kuroo is so much smarter than noya but noya is more unpredictable so…they could definitely be a dangerous combination

- smarter than the tendou + tanaka duo because, like, kuroo

- kuroo would probably take advantage of how willing noya is to do dumb shit and get noya to do his stupidest ideas (noya would not realize he was being strategically convinced, also he probably wouldn’t even care if he knew because he was having fun)

- also, absolutely would be each other’s wingmen. probably with asahi and kenma. can almost guarantee they would NOT be good at this and the other men would just find it confusing

akaashi + kenma

- said in my prev post about this, i think akaashi would be friends with kuroo because they took of kenma and bokuto in high school so have a shared (ish) experience

- he’d be friends with kenma for different but adjacent reasons

- they’re both somewhat quiet and reserved but capable of being sarcastic or harsh if the situation requires it

- dating bokuto and kuroo (IN MY WORLD THEY ARE. ITS REAL TO ME!!!)

- anyway, both dating people with VERY different levels of extroversion who like to spend time together

- can sympathize with the sensory overload that is being around bokuto and kuroo at the same time

- BokuAka & KuroKen double dates??? yeah bro. bokuto’s idea, kuroo talks kenma into them.

- they’d probably enjoy watching Bokuto and Kuroo entertain themselves when they all hung out even if it was overwhelming

- ^^^ both of them have a much shorter social battery so would be allies in the situation (if they don’t want to talk, they hide from everyone in silence— my mental image is them quietly doomscrolling in the same room, or kenma playing video games while akaashi reads a book or something— point being, i think they’d be able to be around each other comfortably without it feeling like actual social interaction)

It was snowing, and Contrarian demanded to go outside.

They haven't experienced much snow in their lives, and Contrarian was determined to make the most of it.

While the others were more concerned about heating their home up and not getting barricaded in by snow, Contrarian dragged the first person who he knew would want and appreciate a snow day-Cold.

He giggled in glee as he gripped Cold's hand, marching outside, and feeling how the snow crunched beneath his feet. Cold hadn't said much, but Contrarian saw him take one look outside the window, and his eyes lit up, and then Contrarian was shoving him outside.

They walked out until they were far enough away from the house, and he stopped and spun around, feeling snowflakes stick to his feathers.

He giggled uncontrollably, catching a glimpse of Cold, who was busy staring straight up at the sky, and the snow dotted around his feathers in a way that kind of made him look like a weird yet pretty snow creature. Cool.

As dizziness took ahold of him, he stumbled over to the other, leaning against his side as he asked, "Do you feel at home, buddy?"

Cold just made a questioning noise, putting his arm out and watching the snow hit his feathers, and Contrarian noticed how they puffed up at the contact.

"How do you mean?" Cold finally asked, and Contrarian managed to shove the dizziness away to stand up properly and say, "Well, you're Cold-you're basically in your element here!"

Cold smiled softly at him, and that did something funny to Contrarian's stomach, so he switched his attention to the snow.

He started by stomping around, kicking his feet up and giggling as the snow was thrown about across the field. "This stuff is weird!" Contrarian exclaimed over his shoulder. "It kinda looks fluffy, don't you think?"

"Skeptic said that he thinks it might actually just be frozen water from the sky," Cold said, and then Contrarian was stunned as Cold stuck his tongue out to taste the snow.

A blush suddenly exploded across Contrarian's face, and he forced himself to look away, crouching down to touch the snow with his hands. His body shook, but he wasn't sure if it was from the bitter weather, so he just kept focusing on the weird feeling of the snow-light yet solid enough to bunch up in his palm.

He held a small pile of it, then smiled as he let it drift down through the gaps in his fingers. Then-he got an idea.

He used every fibre of his being to stop any laughter from coming out, glancing over his shoulder to see Cold with his arm out, inspecting the shaking of his fingers and they were starting to look paler than before.

He was distracted. Good.

He worked quickly, spreading his wings out to block Cold from seeing what he was doing. He slowly stood up when he was finished, glancing over his shoulder to see Cold about to crouch and touch the snow like he had.

Before he could though, Contrarian shouted, "Hey, Cold!" and the biggest grin spread across Contrarian's face, as his arm shot out, and he clocked Cold right in the face.

There was a single second, where pure shock took over the bird's usually blank face, before Contrarian burst out laughing.

He clutched his stomach as laughter practically erupted out of him, and he ducked his head to avoid any heated glares that Cold may send him. But come on! How many times can someone say that they've genuinely caught Cold that off guard before? It was unheard of!

Contrarian was only beginning to feel a sense of pride at being one of the few birds to accomplish that, when he suddenly felt something hit his head.

He snorted, expecting this, and he lifted his head, only for another snowball to hit him in the face. He stumbled backwards, as one, two, three-fucking hell Cold was good at this-four snowballs hit him in the face.

His face was beginning to go numb, so he quickly waved his arms out and yelled, "Okay, I'm sorry, I yield! I yield!"

There was a pause, and Contrarian dared to open his eyes, finding Cold staring at him in soft amusement, a snowball resting in the palm of his hand. They held each other's gazes for a few seconds, before Cold silently lowered his arm, looking down at the snowball instead. Contrarian found himself a little disappointed that the moment ended so quickly.

But then he noticed the way Cold was eying up the snow in his hand, and he couldn't stop himself from chanting, "Do it! Do it! Do it!" So without any further motivation, Cold bit into the snowball.

Contrarian rushed over to him, cackling as he watched Cold's face for any more changes. His hands reached out to softly grip Cold's arm without even thinking about it, and he watched as Cold furrowed his brows in deep thought-before his expression completely fell with disappointment.

"It just becomes water in your mouth," Cold said with slumped shoulders. Contrarian's smile also fell as he went, "Aw, really?" and then picked up some snow for him to try himself.

He attempted to chew it, but just as Cold said-it just dissolved on his tongue.

"Well that's boring," Contrarian said, letting water dribble out of his mouth, and making Cold chuckle softly.

He liked that sound. He liked being the one to make Cold sound like that.

Contrarian rubbed his mouth clean, and the two of them just stood there, taking a moment to watch the snow fall around them.

It was really pretty. Contrarian never thought that something so pretty and so fun could fall from the sky. His mind was already going through all the pranks he could pull on the others, and then some were just fun things to do in the snow. Like-what other things could they make with the snow? What did the snow do to other things like trees and lakes and-

Contrarian didn't know when it happened, but at some point, his attention had drifted from the snow, and onto Cold.

He had a peaceful, almost soft expression on his face, and he kept his gaze up at the sky, his shiny feathers sticking out amongst all the white snow.

He sighed in frustration at himself, before he noticed what happened when he did that.

"Hey look!" Contrarian exclaimed in excitement, hardly able to contain his joy as Cold turned to look at him. Contrarian bunched his hands into fists and squeezed as he revealed, "Look! I'm just like you now!" and then he let a big exhale out, and grinned at how he could now see his own breath.

Cold's eyes widened slightly, with snow still clinging to the feathers on his face, and he let a breath of his own out, his signature frost floating out around them.

Contrarian began to bounce on the spot, and then his heart pounded at the way Cold smiled down at him, as if amused by his reaction.

But then Contrarian froze in shock as Cold leaned in closer to whisper, "That is interesting."

The dark glint in his eyes told Contrarian that Cold may not be talking about the snow anymore.

nina thought nat was a lesbian when they first met . that is literally the only reason why she wasnt mad jeff was living with a woman.

although nina was like, one of the ONLY people to notice toby/nat tension and was sooo heartbroken when she realized they were never getting together..... but then was relieved they didnt get together when she got over jeff because 'well i can't be the only single one!'

again, natalie grew up with 0 girl friends, only hung out with her brother and boys. even after meeting the creeps, theyre still mostly guys. so she's just kinda really awkward and weird around girls. not in a like, 'oh girls r so annoying' way but like... she just doesnt know how to fit in. she just feels so different in the worst possible way and always has.

and nina is very girly, outgoing, touchy, friendly, cute, etc. so it was very like UMMM?!? idk. natalie kept snapping at her, assuming she was fake and weird and just trying to get something from nat, but nina was so persistent and just. friendly. it started making natalie feel warm.

nina's presence started to heal natalies inner little girl. she had it stolen from her time and time again, from her dad, her brother, her peers - the operator, too.

so the two are eventually actual friends. they'll text and play mobile phone games together. sometimes they'll just sit on call and nina will be talking her head off while nat does her own thing at home. one time nat was at tobys cabin and nina was talking about toby on speaker and toby walked in and was like 'hey nina' .... nina almost threw up she was so embarrassed.

nina loves visiting nats bar because everyone is always talking to nina and giving her attention and buying her drinks, and at first nat was irritated but it kinda got nat some better tips since the customers started realizing ninas her friend. so nat was pleased. LOL

nat was never the type to go shopping, but she'll follow nina around and sit while nina tries on clothes and carry around all her bags that she buys LOL... ninas made jokes about nat being boyfriend material and nat just flatout says smth about how nina should get over jeff cuz he would never.

nat is friends with jeff but she's oddly comfortable just telling nina that he's a piece of shit. and ninas always like NOOO U DONT GET IT U DONT SEE WHAT I DO and nats always just .. not... impressed..

nina's always inviting nat out to try new foods. nat grew up just eating bread and noodles with butter half the time so it's fun. nina always tries to pay bc 'well i invited you!!!'. sometimes toby tags along but he feels a way abt going in public places..

This started as an idea I had right after the first Obscuary Episode released. Originally, this was meant to be in a chibi style (but for some reason chibi is just harder for me to draw and I'm not about to pay for the chibi models) where the captains/vice-captains had their "charges" on toddler backpack leashes. I don't think I could make it work in this style, so a few things had to change

At first this one was going to be similar to the first where Tohma and Rui are complaining to each other about their captians but I decided to make them two separate pics instead

This is one where the chibi style would've been funnier; Jin was going to have his limbs wrapped around a pillar or fence or something, while Ed deadweights on the floor (idk i just couldn't make it work with these models)

So instead Jin smokes and ignores Tohma

I'm grouping these four together because my alternate idea was to have either the captains or the vice-captins have all the other ghouls in their house on leashes (which I still might do) but I figured it'd be easier to start them off as pairs

At first, I was going to set up a scene where Leo pisses off Luca again, but idk it felt weird to me soooo yeah, these are separate now

Also, I just now realized that Kaito is the only one that actually looks like he has a leash (but I refuse to redo any of these.... again. Idk, maybe I'll crop it and make it look like he's grabbing Luca's arm)

Yuri/Jiro

Aah, my (mostly) unproblematic duo decided to take a break from researching inside Mortkrake to reviewing research outside or something idk

There's really not much to say about these dorks, imo Jiro is well trained enough not to need a leash lmao

I wasn't really sure what to do with these two since we don't get a lot of them interacting outside of the diner

I like to think their at least comfortable enough to naturally fall into "parallel play" dynamics

Neither of them gives off outdoorsy vibes, so this can be interpreted as taking place inside the diner

That being said, I was going for a "day at the park" deal, but whatevs

Okay, so this one literally exists only because I didn't know what to do with Alan after deciding to do pairs, and I didn't want to do any of the characters more than once (because that's not fair!)

Then I realized that the MC is literally right there, so she gets a little lunch date with Mr. Guard Dog over here

Okay less "date" and more "they ran into each other and realized they hadn't eaten, so they got some bentos from the store and decided to eat together" (in my head this is what happened, y'know to make it fair)

In the new episodes, everyone is talking about Planet X being an asshole, or Uranus being manipulated. But no one is talking about Neptune being actually kinda fucking depressed. Like, he’s losing his best friend because Uranus wants to have a “better life” or some shit. Don’t get me wrong I don’t blame Uranus for his actions, if I had a name that literally meant “asshole” I’d wanna change it too, but the way he’s trying to do it is making him drift away from Neptune. Uranus is willing to put the whole solar system in the risk just so that he doesn’t get made fun of anymore and that people can acknowledge his existence, but Neptune can see that it’s not worth it, and this puts their friendship in risk.

In the new episodes, Neptune, despite loving (Platonically) and caring for Uranus, he never acknowledges his new name choice, he always calls him “Uranus”. I feel like it’s not just because he’s used to the name, but also because he sees Caelus as a different planet, in Neptunes eyes, Uranus and Caelus are two separate celestial bodies. One of them is caring, and will be best friends with Neptune and no matter how weird he is, and the other is selfish, does only what’s best for himself, and sees Neptune to be a weirdo. In Battle of Planet X Part 1, when Neptune tries to go over to Uranus, you can obviously tell that when Uranus refuses to come over to hang with the other planets, that Neptune is sad as fuck about it, he just wants Uranus to be his friend again. You can obviously hear Neptunes misery when he says “okay.. mate?”.

HE IS FUCKING DEPRESSED! And when the next episodes come out, I bet he’s going to be even more depressed and sad. And can you blame him? If you’re best friend, whom you have known for years upon years, leaves you for someone else, acts like a whole new different person, and treats you like you’re the weirdest person ever, YOU WOULD BE DEPRESSED TOO! I think that Neptune is actually the smart one in this situation, he knows that Uranus isn’t just doing this for a “new name” or whatever, but it’s also partly for revenge against how all the other planets treated him, Neptune saw right through him. Neptune knows that even though if X wins, it will largely benefit him, but at the cost of all the Rocky planets and Jupiter’s and Saturn’s sanity. He honestly doesn’t give a fuck if he is smart or dumb or whatever, he just wants the others to be happy and safe. Neptune genuinely cares about the other planets, and would give up any opportunity to make himself happier just for them to be safe. Yet Uranus is the opposite right now, he would do ANYTHING to be even a little bit better off in the solar system, He doesn’t care if the Rocky planets lives are at stake or if people are losing their mind, he wants what’s best for himself. And this is tearing their friendship apart.

I genuinely hope that in the future episodes that they become friends again, these two are the best duo ever! (Or at least they were…) I hope that Uranus realizes that it’s not right to put others safety at risk just so you’re happier, I feel like that if he had this realization, he and Neptunes relationship would be fixed, and Neptune would be not depressed. I’m honestly really excited to see where all this will be headed in the next few episodes, and I just hope that Uranus gets his shit together and realizes that he doesn’t need a new name and orbit to be happy. WE NEED THESE 2 BLUEBERRIES TO BE BESTIES AGAIN!!!

I'm not sure if I'm ever gonna include them in any way if I ever get around to my AU!Links meet AU, but I wanted to do my take on the CDi duo! (Wall of text with my thought process under the cut)

I haven't played those games myself, but I did watch playthroughs of the remastered versions of Wand of Gamelon and Faces of Evil. And as hilariously cursed those games are (in gameplay, animations, plot, as well as dialogues), the thing that bothers me the most about those games is that if we look at only the plot, the stories had the potential to be really good. And they just. Botched it. (I have also started to look at a playthrough of Zelda's Adventure, since I kinda want this Zelda to be the Heroine of Tolemac too because it would be fun if she could light-heartedly tease Link for having saved him more often than him saving her, but I don't yet know how to incorporate those details.)

Anyway, this is how I would tweak Zelda and Link if I was put in charge to remake those games today with as little as possible change of the things that are there already.

Personality-wise, rather than Link trying to flirt with Zelda every time he gets the chance, they're besties and Link's flirting is actually an in-joke between them where Link is mocking all the nobles trying to woo her. He is not romantically inclined at all (aroace af to put it frankly) and gets really flustered ans awkward when people are flirting with him or touchy when it's somebody he doesn't know well. The reason he was imprisoned in the mirror by that Noble Lady Alma in WoG was because he wouldn't kiss her. And rather than just brushing it off like in canon (which is just really weird and a missed opportunity imo), Zelda's "oh nothing happened" was to sooth a groggy and injured Link while the Lady Alma was escorted to a holding cell. So he has some scars from the mirror breaking and his memories of being trapped are mostly somewhat hazy but there. The scars-from-the-mirror idea was shamelessly stolen from the Koridai from @linked-maze (highly recommend y'all check it out, it's currently on hiatus but it's really good ❤), though my version's scar looks more like broken glass then glass cuts, because I want him to match (and share some trauma) with the Shadow Link (aka Flint) from my AU Four Wild Ones. Other than that he's still a hungry goof-ball who is always up for eating like a like-like and bombing dodongos.

Zelda on the other hand is as helpful to commoners and sassy to enemies as hinted in her cutscenes, and whichever of her many suitors she will eventually select one of her (not vocalized) requirement (other than being kind and competent) is that the suitor must not only be okay with Link being a third wheel, they must actually enjoy it and preferably partake in the shenanigans she and Link will cause. This is also why Ganon had her placed under a sleeping spell when he kidnapped her in FoE: The first thing she did when he took her to Koridai was to cause trouble at his fort and nearly escape.

When it comes to their designs, I wanted them to have some similarities in the silhouette, and also stand out a bit from my normal go-to options, but still contain something from the CDi designs. In Link's case, his canon design is pretty much the same as in the other early canon games, but I felt that poofy sleeves and collar would suit him. I might even make the sleeves even poofier in the future. I did plan on making his hair brown, because it was more brown in some of his cutscenes, but I settled on a darker blond that can look blond or brown depending on the light. It's also kind of a mullet cut, though his cap normally hides that detail.

And as I wanted Zelda's silhouette match Link's a bit rather than being so very 90's in style, her vest got turned into a poofy-sleeved bolero-thingy. I also find crop tops to be very uncomfortable and not quite matching my version of her, so I turned that into a short dress with shorts underneath. I also decided that early on while on her first adventure she grew sick of not only things getting stuck in her hair but also monsters trying to grab it, so she found herself a villager who was willing to cut it for her, so she sports an undercut (kinda like Colin in TP I suppose, but less of a bowl cut). As I was colouring her outfit I realized I accidentally made her clothes kinda the same shape as Purah's outfit in TotK, but that's fine, that outfit is ✨amazing✨ anyway imo lol

Not sure where in the LoZ Universe Timeline I think they fit, but among the CDi games my order of them is Faces of Evil -> Wand of Gamelon -> Zelda's Adventure

ms hayley ! !! do you have hc's for how eulalie would interact with the misfit's cast? I feel like she'd get along with them all save for Montresor and will but I need eulalie content 🙏🏻

With Annabel

- Annabel finds her very odd. She is a bit bothered by how unpredictable Eulalie can be with her blunt words and tendency to not properly understand all social cues. Annabel Lee is a woman used to talking to people that are playing the game she is, so this is not something she is used to. - Eulalie is very perceptive, much to Annabel Lee's dismay. She notices when Annabel is mildly irritated by the way her eyebrows shift on her face. - Eulalie asks Annabel to give her doll curls like her. She does not (and cannot). - Annabel is horrified to see Eulalie putting two different tea bags into one cup. She wants to see what the flavors taste like together. - Eulalie isn't terrible at chess. Not on Annabel's level, but she doesn't mind playing against her. - Eulalie asks her one day why she's mean. Annabel simply responds with "Think me mean if you wish, I am simply surviving." Then Eulalie says something like "What is the point in surviving if you're all alone by the end?" She bites her tongue. She cannot tell Eulalie that she will never be alone as long as she has Lenore.

With Ada

- Honestly I think this could go both ways.

- Ada calls her creepy and finds her weird, but she doesn’t really dislike her company.

- Eulalie thinks she’s pretty! She likes touching Ada’s hair bow.

- Asks to borrow said hair bow. Ada only agrees because someone wanting to look like her NEVER happens.

- Ada is jealous of her singing voice.

- Eulalie mentions something about the length of the small intestine and Ada feels sick She just remembers an ax to the stomach.

- Eulalie tells her that she’s pretty a lot and Ada gets kinda mad bc she assumes Eulalie is lying to her because of her tone/the way she speaks.

- “Why would you think you’re not pretty?”

“Empty flattery will not get you anywhere with me!”

“It’s not empty. It’s quite full, really. You are pretty.”

- And she just struggles to believe it internally because compared to Annabel she doesn’t really feel pretty. But of course she just haughtily laughs and goes like “I know! Finally, you took notice!”

With Prospero - An unlikely duo. Eulalie is interested in his medical knowledge. He is mildly concerned about how much she knows about the human body despite having no medical career. - Eulalie's humming kinda reminds him of his mother. He'd rather die than say that. - She claims that he is mean too, but not as mean as Annabel. He takes mild offense. - She tries to curl a piece of her hair around her finger and put it in front of her face to copy his hairstyle. - Reading buddies. She'll blurt out a random fun fact about bones or something and he'll nod and add one of his own. Freaks. - Eulalie insists that when he's with her, all the "survival games" are set aside. She can tell it stresses him out. His hands tense up when he holds objects, and it's obvious even with the gloves. He's a jaw clencher too. With Montresor - As good as you'd expect it to be, really. - He calls her 'little miss' because she's anything but little. She literally would not care if it were anyone else but him. - He yanks at her sleeves because they're long and easy to grab. - "Why is everyone with great hair so mean?" "Aw, that's real kind of ya to say, little miss." "You’re horrible.”

- He tries to like intimidate her with close contact but she’s almost his height. Plus, she just doesn’t respond to that sort of thing.

- I think they’d be really interesting actually. He’s been compared to the devil, is considered demonic…and she has an interest in the occult. Imagine that.

With Will

- Honestly, not as bad as you might first think.

- She sort of pities him, but not really. He knows the choices he makes are bad.

- She’s happy to share things with him if he stares for a while. He’ll never dare ask for something, just kinda stare like a puppy until it’s offered. She won’t be cruel for no reason.

- She actually likes hearing about his writing journals.

- Will starts to instinctively study her face and body to learn how to become her even though he has no reason to. She can tell by the way he mumbles her words after she speaks sometimes.

- They’ll be sitting in silence and she’ll suddenly ask him what his loneliness feels like. Like uncomfortable questions that he can’t/doesn’t want to answer. But his reaction is enough of an answer.

- Allows him to turn into her so she can braid his hair.
