the worst part of getting food poisoning in another country isn't even the "being violently sick half a planet away from home" thing tbh. I'm kinda more annoyed that this is just reinforcing the autism "unfamiliar foods I don't know can and Will make me sick" thing bc. yeah. 24 hours in a country surrounded by unfamiliar foods and I *did* get sick ! and i know that *anything* i eat rn will just make me feel even worse!! and I only have access to unfamiliar foods for the next 2 and a half weeks !!!
