I'll never recover from the absolute lunacy of the Wednesday finale. Enid really thought she would never see Wednesday again, went in for a hug, got rebuffed, and was totally like, "Okay, I hear you. BTW we'll fuck Tyler up if he tries something, please don't worry! I'M GONNA MISS YOU."

And then the very next time Enid sees Wednesday, Enid's in her wolf form, takes time out of a fight to give Wednesday PUPPY DOG EYES, and then makes sure Wednesday gets away safely. Then proceeds to nearly get her throat ripped out but at least Wednesday was safe!!!!

And THEN the next time Enid sees Wednesday, it's after Enid's scared something happened to her because none of her friends had any information on her! Imagine her surprise when small, dark, and pissed off appears out of the misty shadows!! Enid was so overwhelmed with every emotion ever and just HAD to cross Wednesday's no hug boundary!

And imagine her further surprise when Wednesday TOUCH ME AND DIE Addams pulled her back into a hug!! Enid held her like she never wanted to let go because there she is! Right in her arms!! Thank GOD!!!

It's even funnier from Wednesday's point of view. The last time she saw Enid, she left her crying alone in their dorm because she just had to get herself expelled. Wednesday, who was so jealous that Enid told a taxidermy squirrel she'd miss the creepy lifeless eyes waking her up, when we all know Enid really meant her. The same Wednesday who had a speech prepared to make her roommate feel better. Didn't want to say goodbye!!!

Wednesday stumbling around in the woods after almost dying in a crypt, being accosted by a douche bag barista who turns into a fucking MONSTER. And who comes to her rescue but her notoriously un-wolf werewolf roommate!! Wednesday was SHOOK. "Enid? The girl that cried when she had to say goodbye to me six hours ago?? MY Enid????" Her face was so shocked.

Then of course, the next time she sees Enid, she's getting linebacker TACKLED into a hug. And she was like OKAY FIRST OF ALL- but then the argument died when she looked at Enid!!

The crying face from this morning is now covered in blood and still crying, because the scaredy cat werewolf almost gave her life to make sure Wednesday was okay!!! Wednesday decided in that goddamn moment that Enid was hers!! NO MORE CRYING FACES, BABY, I'M RIGHT HERE. YOU WERE MAGNIFICENT.

Wednesday thought she'd never see Enid again, let alone see her risk her life for her.

Enid thought she'd never see Wednesday again, let alone be held in her arms for a lifetime.

idk what other people head canon enid's middle name as but i've chosen phoebe for my fics after i went and googled greek names relating to the moon and it fits perfectly, at least to me cause:

means 'bright' or 'shining' which suits enid well

not technically a moon goddess, but the name is related to a number of them

is the goddess of prophecy (love that connection to wednesday hehe)

idk it just matches well. sounds very enid like to me lol

TK hasn’t known Carlos very long, but sometimes he feels like he’s known him forever.  He knows that he’s got two sisters, one married and one that hates the institution of marriage entirely. He knows that Carlos’ father is a Texas ranger who has a weakness for a good Chili con carne and he knows that Carlos’ mother makes the world’s best Chili con carne. 

TK knows that Carlos is a control freak and he knows that Carlos doesn’t know that he’s a control freak. He knows that Carlos has a tendency to suppress any emotion that could risk showing a crack in his cool, calm, collected demeanor. TK knows that Carlos doesn’t know TK knows that. 

So, when TK is woken up by a panicked Carlos who’s hopping out of bed, as opposed to in it, he can’t help but ask, “What’s wrong?” 

Carlos releases a flurry of words that topple over each other. The only discernible word TK can catch is ‘bed’. That mixed with Carlos’ frantic pointing at said bed causes TK to further investigate. 

“Huh?” TK looks under the comforter as Carlos watches on. Carlos waits for TK to join him in his terror, half expecting him to jump out of the bed the way he just did. What Carlos doesn’t expect is TK disappearing under the comforter entirely, reaching for the unwelcome inhabitant. 

TK peeks his head back up, only his hair and his eyes are showing; but Carlos can tell he’s smiling. He lowers the comforter, smiling in that special type of way that Carlos simply just adores and reveals that he’s holding a tiny little creature in his palm. “It’s a lizard.”

WIP Wednesday - 12/20/23 (Closed) | FIC: All Hallows' Day

Kevin spends the next few hours meticulously researching about the history of epidemiology. He has a history of medicine class this semester and he's never enjoyed Aaron's company more than when they get to talk about history together.

Neil and Andrew never make an appearance during the day and he does hope that they get the backseat cleaned before he has to sit in it.

Eventually though, he can't quite manage to keep ignoring his phone buzzing in his pocket. He pulls it out and sees 'Nicky (Call me)' a name that Nicky had programmed in when he had first put his phone number into Kevin's phone ages ago and Kevin could not figure out how to change.
