(tbh the deep roads bits in veilguard are maybe the best possible deep roads of any of the games so far? as in, there's not that much of them and it's actually well lit so i don't feel terribly claustrophobic and don't have to turn up the brightness just to see . i do sort of miss having at least one, sometimes multiple, companions whine about me dragging them to the deep roads and how much they hate caves, nugs, darkspawn, etc.

honestly all the veilguard companions are so good natured, i do kinda miss the ambient bitching you got in previous games like dorian being like "um these are designer boots and you make me walk in the woods with this absolute fashion disaster :stares at solas: like it's just embarassing" or varric whining about nature in general and how he'd rather just be cozy at home. even just the general ribbing between companions working out their shit. like yeah i did drag you assholes out in the woods to fight demons and bears, your whining is music to my ears, please tell me more about how much you hate it here lol)

("move that one there," he says nondescriptively, and cas captures the piece just as quickly as jack sets it down.) jack shoots dean a look of betrayal, and dean is torn between laughing at the childish competitiveness that cas holds with their son and abandoning the situation entirely. embarrassed, he elects for the second option, and walks off to the kitchen, asking what jack wants for lunch.

any current story WIPs?

I've honestly been a little secretive about it lately. But I have had a Stockman story in development for a long while now. Since about mid to late 2019 actually. It's a little dumb. But It was a while after i had watched "Into the spiderverse" & I loved the movie so much that it was an actual butterfly effect in terms of what it would later lead me to write & create a ton of stories & characters that I have hidden for now but I do genuinely want to share with the world some day, that'll hopefully be well received.

In the meantime tho, It also inspired me to do my own multiverse story (which I'm aware is as of now a very overdone storyplot at this point), that I did start working on in 2019 & 20. But after I left the TMNT fandom & dropped all my TMNT related things I stopped working on it too & it was pretty much left dormant for the next 4 years. Earlier this year tho when I did get back into the Stock side of TMNT, I did consider revisiting the idea & after a while I decided to finally get to writing it again & I'm already 4 chapters in. Tho like I said tho. It is a little dumb & overdone now. But just for my own personal accomplishment I want to finish it.

These old pictures I made aren't entirely far off. My current story premise is pretty much The Stockmanverse.

It's not a bad for bar copy of Spiderverse, but like I said it did inspire it.

The plot is, it's been a year since Owari & the Foot clan disbanded & Baxter had no other choice but to go back to his old miserable life & his old miserable job. But not for long as he wants to make a superior comeback so the world can finally recognize & remember his genius. Later in the night while looking for parts to start his plan of action he accidentally discovers a hidden underground facility full of refuge Triceratons all being led by Mozar who survived the Ulixes’power cores & Fugutoid's dark matter explosion but barely, as there's barely any Triceratons left. So they're building a machine that opens up a portal to the multiverse to get more Triceratons from all over the multiverse to rebuild their army & species & then take over the multiple galaxies. Baxter gets himself discovered & small hijinx ensues, and one of his MOUSERS gets caught in the mix of the machine. Baxter's barely able to escape but now he's constantly looking over his shoulder because of this new secret he learned, if things couldn't get bad enough, he finds out there's a new batch of MOUSERS running around. Only he didn't make them. Could a copycat be related to last night's discovery?

And that's pretty much the gist of it. I don't know when I'll be finished with it but I do know I plan to finish it & even share it if anybody's interested.

Hello to the Buddyfight fandom it's been a hot minute but god do i miss this show and have been making fanart for it in the background so i thought i'd post to tumblr too ^^

I swear every year I end up coming back to this show and wishing that it kept going, that it got rebooted, that i could just erase my memories of this show and just watch it all over again from the beginning to enjoy everything once again from Tasuku's own sense of justice twisting against him to Gao's suffering of PTSD and how heartfelt it was handled.

There's something very special about this show that I haven't been able to find replicated elsewhere. It has the most perfect world to exist (so much so that i'd love to be isekai'd into it if i could!!!) and while i have my own gripes with it (hi S3+) i honestly sometimes wish i could go back to my high school years of watching this show just to relive it all again :'D

Anyways!!! I hope there's still people out there who enjoy this show even ten years later who'll like seeing new funny artwork for it!

I wanna add too that i'm hoping to create a rewrite of FCBF (ft. seasons 1-3 + Ace) or at least create more artwork for my interpretation of it and its world!

Because, sincerely, this show is one of the few that, for all its flaws, hasn't disappointed me in the years that've followed unlike many other things i've seen and i wanna try to keep the spirit of it alive while I can thanks to that. And if there are any fans still in existence who love it, i wanna provide some food while its once again in my orbit because damn do i adore this show <3 <3 <#

About the KingOh VS movies

(Spoiler-Free btw)

Both felt like pretty rushed projects whether it's production-wise or story-wise. If they were each given a longer runtime and were separate releases than a double-feature release, I might've enjoyed it more. Especially for DonBros.

To be fair, I couldn't get into DonBros. I get why people like it, but not for me. I'm not sure if that was what made me think so harshly of KOvDB or the fact I prefer story-driven than just pure fun/chaos or even the fact that vDonBros wasn't even on the table until they decided to continue the tradition, but I couldn't enjoy that part of the movie as much.

I think I needed more character interactions or something out of it or at least actual stakes rather than "Oh, this happened but it's not important when it should be. Problem solved. Let's head home. Were we arguing 10 minutes ago? No, we weren't. We don't need to apologize to each other for that. Don't worry about it." I did laugh a lot from the ridiculousness of it all, but watching it makes me question the entire point of the movie being made.

The only KingOh thing about it was really just the characters being comedic versions of themselves and the locations. It felt more like they just threw the Kings into an extra DonBros episode than a crossover movie. Then again, the cast did say it was a very Inoue script done by TakaMina so I guess that's why it was more DonBros than KingOh.

Vs Kyoryu should've been longer and should've explored more of the Kings of the Alternate Timeline. I know the biggest obstacle was cast availability so I can forgive the lack of character interactions with Kyoryu a bit. Just a bit.

Though my biggest issue would be how time-travel worked in the movie. It felt more like a multiversal movie trying to be a time-travel movie. The writer had the right idea, but I think it should've been thought through more.

I think if the two movies were handled better and were completely separate, I wouldn't have so many issues with how they were handled.

The only saving grace would be Jerachi and Alt!Rita. Although I have even more anger towards Toei and Columbia Records now because it just proved how we were all just fucking robbed of a proper Rita song.
