Art challenge for everyone in the stp fandom! We're given a general idea of what the Long Quiet looks like by the end, and he's sort of his own character, so I see him drawn the same way consistently.
But he's also a player character, whose decisions, experiences, and personality are all shaped by who the person behind the computer is! The princess, the voices, the narrator- they speak to you as much as they speak to a fictitious person, if not more.
So draw your long quiet persona- what you imagine the princesses and the narrator to see when you enter that basement.

Since he and Scott are confirmed to be meant to be seen as similar to one another#so much so that even their first and last names rhyme#last thing I'll add tho is that while Wallace and Lisa are very similar even personality wise#the one big difference is that despite that whole conclusion on vol4 of Scott not cheating on Ramona with Lisa because he loves her#the writers apparently think it would be “organically correct” for him to have an affair with wallace LMAO#but I guess we shouldn't be surprised since Wallace and Ramona are both in the front of the official valentines art which is clearly#a deptiction of Scotts wet dream or smth (oh and you could also argue that Wallace and Lisa parallel on that art since they're both#shirtless with white socks.. which could be a reference to how lisa wears skimpy clothes for Scott and Wallace often only wears boxers#to like sexually frustrate Scott for fun or smth

It’s just annoying how bfb is missing the point, which like, okay some of this is basic courtesy for playing on a server, but I imagine they really thought they were doing a Really Cool Betrayal. But they weren’t for many reasons.
To me, Traps are a way to level the playing field. It’s something that takes alot of time and planning on order to work, but it’s worth it, because it can (if done right) kill even the strongest player. It doesn’t work thematically when it’s done by players that would have won the fight anyway. When Rek traps Clown, it’s interesting and showcases a new trap no one evens heard of, but also relies on Rek being able to convince people to trust him in the first place. When Mane dies to an arrow canon it’s the work of many players over a long period of time to trap him, and when he finally dies it’s because he’s let his guard down ! Compare that with, the two strongest players on the server spawn trapping a guy they hadn’t really been opposing. The first two work while the second doesn’t because they have motivation, a clever trap with lots of time put in, and even have a way to escape the trap !! (As well as not ruining someone’s else content, but creating an interesting story)
Second point is just that the betrayal doesn’t work either. I explain it more in this post, but tldr is Flame had no motivation for betraying Mapicc. He had no reason and could have just two v one Mapicc at any other point, it feels like overkill to betray. Zam has this quote that’s something like, “Betrayal is just twisting the knife to hurt more,” and that’s really all this is. We are given no explanation or context for it, and worse apparently Flame tried to play it off like he wasn’t a traitor after. It’s really only comparable to the Jumper betrayal in s5, in that he was a double agent the entire time. But, do I have to say why this is so much worse than that ? Jumper spent months building up trust and goodwill, everyone here knew Flame wasn’t loyal. And he and Mane had 1(one) lame staged fight(They didn’t even kill eachother during the fight !!! They were just like, “oh guess we’re enemies now trust”) in which we’re supposed to believe Flame is ride or die now.
It’s just overall, this is bad manners and not an interesting story. Bfb consistently put their own content over others and whether or not they recognize it, it sucks. This in addition to their running from fights and refusal to die, makes for uninteresting characters that never undergo any meaningful challenge and change. Here’s to hoping they learn for next season !

Voice actors are NOT the same as actors.
It takes a specific kind of skill-set and training to be able to warp and meld the voice. It takes a certain kind of talent and dedication to hone that talent into the ability to meld the voice and invoke emotion with one's voice alone. Actors are used to using their voice secondarily to their body language and their facial expressions. It's all mirrored back on camera. They do have nuance. But it's a different kind of nuance and a different kind of training to produce that nuance.
Voice actors might get their likeness transposed on their character's design, and maybe their mannerisms might seep into the character's animation. But when it's all said and done: their presence is in their voice. They are bringing a character to life, showing that emotion in their voice, trying to keep a specific accent, drawl, pitch, tone in that voice and keep it consistent for their recording sessions.
The voice actor is like a classically trained musician who can play first chair in a competitive, world-renown orchestra. The actor (who fills the voice actor's role) is like a moot who played violin in beginner and intermediate high school orchestra and thinks they can get into Juilliard with that 2-4 years of experience.
This doesn't mean that the HS orchestra moot can't play. They can even be really good at it. Maybe they won competitions and sat first chair. But they are not in the same league as the person who's been training their whole lives and lives and breathes to hone their craft using the instrument and all of the training they've ever acquired to perfect it. They are not meant for the same roles. They are not in the same caliber. You do not hire the HS equivalent when you want to play complex music in a competitive orchestra.
Actors are not the same as voice actors.
And furthermore, actors - especially big name actors - taking the roles of animated characters for big budget films or TV pilots makes no sense anyways when - at least in the case of TV pilots - there's not a point to hiring a big budget actors anyways. That money could be used elsewhere (like paying your animators), and the talent that is brought onto the screen for X character could then be hired on to voice said character no recasting required.
I wouldn't say voice acting as a profession is in danger exactly, but it's certainly being disrespected and overlooked for celebrity clout, and this has ALWAYS been an issue. Shoot, even Robin Williams knew that much - which is why he tried so hard not to be used as a marketing chess piece for Aladdin and got royally pissed off when it happened anyways. People shouldn't go to any movie (but especially not animated films) because "oh famous actor is in it". People should go because it's a good movie and the voice acting is good.
People who honest to god think that voice actors are replaceable because "oh well anyone can voice act" or "I like xyz celebrity so naturally it'll be good" ... Honestly I just wish you'd reassess your priorities because you're missing the point and are part of the problem.
Voice Actors ≠ Actors.

sorry to be a bit of a hater but i do wish youtubers weren't so scared of making their videos just like, "reviews", whys everything gotta be a "video essay" all the time. every day my recommendations are filled with 40 minute videos titled "_____: An Underrated Masterpiece" where the first like five minutes are reading the wikipedia definition of "masterpiece" in a somber voice with dramatic themed text on screen. please just tell me how good or bad you think something is and use the rest of the runtime to explain why. you dont need to put on all these airs

Someone going to therapy regularly is such a green flag 💚💚
#oh you mean to tell me you are actively working on yourself???#you’re learning any generational trauma you might have grown up with#and working through that before you have a family of your own so you don’t pass it down???#that’s so hot 🥵#I will say this now and again and a million times until my voice goes out - everyone would benefit from therapy!!!#obviously especially if you’re struggling with mental health#but also if you’re not#life is so damn hard and I think it’s so important to have a cheerleader along the way#someone you can literally tell them anything and they won’t look at you any differently#I wonder if my ex would have gone to therapy when I asked him to if we would still be together#I mean who knows#I just think *growth* is such an important part in life and therapy is so helpful with that#I don’t want to think about where I would be without therapy#and don’t get me started on the stigma of ���of you go to therapy? you must be crazy?’ FUCK that#i will always think of someone going to therapy as a good thing and gives me so much hope#trust me I get it therapy is expensive and I’m very lucky I’m able to see a therapist#but there are programs out there that can help you find cheap (or even free depending on insurance) therapy options#rant over I was just thinking about finding out a hottie goes to therapy would make them 100000000x more attractive and husband material#shut up rosie#rosie speaks

First time drawing him and he came out cool#Whole movie is his spirit being restless#I love the music in that movie too#Si Puedes Perdonar mi amor#Y Te Amo y Más es muy bueno#The animation is cool and story is interesting#Xibalba y La Muerte dios mio I love them so much. La Muerte especially love her design and her voice hhggn#And then for Nevertober I drew them dressed uppppp#The song lyrics are from Angel by River Styx#Very top tier song.. I imagine Lenore and Annabel sing it like near the end of 42#Like Annabel tells her she’s leaving and then Lenore’s like “… can we sing one more song together?”#And it also helps bc the song’s like all on piano so Lenore plays it and hhhgnggn lesbians#The song’s in my Nevermore playlist on Spotify if you wanna find it and also see my giant collection of songs for this webtoon#But yeah this came out cute!!
