maybe I’m just too defensive over things I like but I don’t get the thing where someone has a blog/account/icon dedicated to a show and then constantly talks about how it sucks. why don’t you dedicate your blog to something that is good and you like

#okay but this is the thing#colin drunk and off a high of saving his bestie's family and being useful gets highly offended someone outside of pen notes this about#their relationship. like it makes perfect sense he in his single anti romance era gets annoyed the people who always mock him and whom he#never fits in well with have been perceptive enough to know his friendship with penelope is different from most friendships between#men and women in the ton so he gets highly defensive#i don't think he ever meant to say it that brashly and he really just meant that he was offended they'd call into question the integrity of#the friendship. it's obvious colin is fond of penelope and in s2 they're genuinely close friends in a way he does not have with anyone#he's protective of that and he's also annoyed at the suggestion his interactions despite being more intimate than most opposite gender#friendships have an ulterior motive. it's fascinating because in the books he tells his brothers to fuck off when they tease him about#dancing with penelope because he isn't interested in anyone like that and is vehemently opposed to marrying for the sake of marrying and#upholding society and he doesn't actually know penelope but he's only thought of her as the nice neighbor his little sister is friends with#the scene being private and just a lighthearted response to his brothers messing with him feels less cruel because of how public the#season 2 scene is and because it's to a bunch of losers and pen doesn't get a chance to confront them in her state or the fact that it was#said to a bunch of lords at a social event. but the context is actually softer in the show - he meant they're friends and his relationship#with her is pure and honest whereas in the book he really meant he didnt (yet) see her that way at all (but also doesnt see anyone that way#bridgerton#polin#colin bridgerton#otp: preferring sleep because that is where i might find you

ladybug accidentally thirst qrts a tweet w pics of chat noir that she meant to PRIVATE quote retweet but she was sloppy and sleep deprived so she deletes it the second alya spam calls her about what the fuck she just did to the internet and then she goes on record to say that she was HACKED -> stay safe out there u guys!! remember ur 2 factor authentification!!! the next day the ladyblog releases a poll asking the people whether they think she was hacked or not. 99.9% no votes (the two yeses were ladybug herself and chat noir after she bullied him during patrol but he made like 20 spam accounts to vote no when he went home)
