I read one of the light novels and yeah, the character has extravagant taste in clothing including dresses.

It could be logical because he is someone from "royalty", and I put the quotation marks because even in the novels it tells us that the character proclaims himself a king.

But yes, Dedede likes dresses (at least in a official visual medium).

magolor and bandee are tied for tippy top favourite, but this whole group just mean everything to me and i am extremely normal about them. after these guys it's probably a very close galacta knight and marx!

king dedede was actually my first ever played exposure to the franchise (through smash multiplayer at a party where i picked him due to Bird) and marx was my first 'character i recognised + played + was obsessed with outside the mains' in star allies so i still consider him my original Little Freak (affectionate)

He had an acting that only the gods could compare, and he probably still has the talent deep within him. You can imagine all sorts of shows and scenarios when it comes to that topic and I have been wanting to delve deeper into it.''

''Oh?''

''Y'know! The ones that write plays for theater and such! Your writing is pretty nice, and I know people like it! Even though I have to pull out a thesaurus each time you do so.''

Meta Knight still had a high fever, so after leaving the cup that he was drinking from on the nightstand, he shoved his face down to Dedede's belly feathers like a cat rubbing their face on the carpet, with his claws grabbing onto him too with his meaty arms but thanks to how thick his feathers were, it didn't cause harm.

''...I apologize for how unprofessional this is...''

''Wait, what? No! Don't apologize! I am actually very happy that you feel so comfortable around me, so hey, if this is the pillow you wanna sleep on, I ain't gonna complain a bit."

It was then that Meta, whether in a way of saying thanks or for the embarrasment, he kissed him, not moving an inch from his position, and his wings started glowing with that constellation pattern he was known for ever since he got the Spade Spear, he felt safe in a way he hadn't experienced before.

Dedede simply chuckled a bit and curled up around Meta, using his tail and hands to welcome him too, along the robes that covered both, Meta could be hardly seen amongst all of that blue, and soon enough, both fell into a deep slumber.

The King, before dozing off, thought about what place could be appropiate to build in a theater.

adeleine appreciation squad!!! time for me to project artist problems all over her and headcanon the heck out of this gal :]

adeleine is the type to go through a set of 24 prismacolors in a week and constantly has to get new supplies (dw, having a king as your friend means unlimited art supplies)

is adeleine’s age ever confirmed?? idk anyways i hc her as no more than 12

after the oil pastel incident, ado only lets kirby and ribbon use her leftover supplies to keep them busy while painting

bandana dee is the exception. bandana dee is allowed free range of adeleine’s supplies. bandana dee has earned her trust.

the first time ado hit art block, she cried for hours on end because she thought she had lost her talent forever

i forgot to add it in the doodles, but adeleine’s hands and clothing are perpetually covered in paint splatters. always. 

she’s also always got at least one bandaid somewhere plastered on, hard to avoid injuries when you’re a one-hit KO, and also when you’re the last human and nobody knows quite how to treat your wounds right

OH YEAH last human stuff here we go:

going to shiver star was lowkey traumatizing for her. ado always knew she came from shiver star, sure, and she still holds a couple of memories from there (she was 5 when she came to popstar. why? idk im still working on that). but nothing could have prepared her for the barren, abandoned, frozen wasteland that was left behind. it was as if every last shred of life was torn away, nothing but amalgamations of creatures that she had once read in storybooks floating in test tubes. it was so strange and so scary for her to realize that the beautiful, lush landscapes she held in her mind and in her paintbrush-- her home planet, were gone. 

yikes that was dark what else uhh

when she met meta knight for the first time, she couldnt stop talking about how cool he looked, how his color palette was a perfect complimentary/analogous mix, etc. meta knight took this as a very deserved ego boost

adeleine gives a lot of odd compliments about someone’s geometric symmetry or color scheme

dedede’s not sure what a triadic color scheme is but damn if he isn’t proud of it

Drew the manga character for the advent! Their name is Hall & they are a living blackhole! They are from Kirby Manga Maina (Kirby of the Stars: The Story of Dedede Who Lives In Pupupu). Dedede met him while he was in space because he wanted to hide the starrod from Kirby.

Metadede week : Gifts, Music

finee i suppose i'll participate aswell,,

the first one is just me imagining dedede likes giving gifts to people he's close with -- a king's got enough to do it whenever he pleases -- but i don't think meta knight expected to be given this much. there's been a suspicious link between a rapid depletion of the treasury & meta mentioning having personal storage issues.

the second one was supposed to use their 25th anniversary outfits { cuz back in my day the king dedede & meta knight medley, official twitter art of them literally just standing next to eachother, & making them kiss in rtdl/star allies were all we had }, but then i saw a few others doing that too & panicked. i really love the pupupu marching outfits though so it's all good

Name: Bowser's UFO

Debut: Super Mario Galaxy

Remember Bowser's UFO? I rarely do! He has all these grand vehicles that tend to appear, do something, and then slink away forever. Remember his submarine? We all know his submarine. We get to go on it once! And then never again. Weird! Good thing his Cool Car ended up being marketable, or he would need to keep making even more!

At least, I assume the UFO is Bowser's. He uses it, and he SUMMONS it, with his Electricity Hands. Everyone loves Bowser Magic! He can discharge lighting just like King Dedede in Kirby's Pinball Land! The thing this moment confirms is that the UFO is not PILOTED by Bowser... Maybe it's a goon. Hired goon.

There could be ANYONE in that UFO! There could be anyTHING! A species the likes of which we've never seen! And an individual character, or characters, of this species. It wouldn't just be any old Alien letting some guy use its ship for evil. Perhaps even Tatanga...?

To save ourselves from disappointment, we can also choose to believe that it is simply piloted by some random Koopa. Perhaps a UFO Control Panel Bro, who throws UFO control panels and then uses them. You must admit, that would be a convenient fellow to have if you need a UFO! Just maybe have him throw it onto a mattress first to avoid damage.

I've been focusing on what could be inside of the UFO, but it's what's on the outside that counts: its three boobs. It seems it's Super Mario Galaxy tradition to have massive machines with three boobs! This is why we don't have Super Mario Galaxy 3. That's the Number of the Boob. If they can't make the perfect metal boobs for the occasion, they will make none at all, and that's fair.

I'm not even saying this to be cheeky! These just look so much like boobs! It's not like Megahammer where they're POSITIONED like boobs, but in this case the details are all there. And what does it lactate? Laser beams! Forget unsweetened vanilla oat milk, this is my new milk substitute of choice!

The UFO uses its nefarious nipples to kickstart the big conflict, allowing Peach's entire castle to be ripped out of the ground and taken away... and then it does nothing. We get to see it briefly while flying toward the final level, and it's just there. No last ditch attack, no climactic battle against it, no venturing within it. Whoever's piloting this vessel was paid for one particular job, and they did it, and now they're getting out of here! Good on them, really. Bad on them for doing some big evil ultimately leading to the destruction of the universe, but you have to respect the independent contractor grind!
