anyhow have a new stephanie lauter verse because im :)

in 1824, the first mayoral election in the newly founded town of hatchetfield and 'prime' candidate solomon lauter was losing- BIG time. having put most of his monetary fund and dignity on the line, lauter turned to what would be his last resort, making a deal with the same beings whom willabella muckwab would rattle on about. upon finding her book, he attempted to ritual to summon this being, but instead of making contact with him, his brother, nibblenephim, sensing his passion and want for his offered him a deal in his place. in exchange for his power, for power for his entire bloodline, the god placed what he promoted to be a minor... difficulty but instead turned out to be a curse. he would be mayor, he would have his control over hatchetfield, his family would stand tall and powerful, amongst the crowds they wish to, but in return, his family would not age, like him, and like him, they would share a deep hunger... and a certain appetite, essentially turning the mayor, his wife, and their eighteen year old daughter into vampires. reasonably horrified at what her husband had done, the mother and wife fled the next day leaving an angry solomon alone with his daughter.

the lauter's reappear and disappear in hatchetfield in twenty year incriminates, allowing solomon to immediately assume mayor while steph works through high school and is quickly one of the most popular girls in school.

logistics wise, the sun is an irritant, but they can be in the sun and they don't fucking sparkle. i have a few other details i can and will spill to folks who want the deets BUT have a little start to some details. but here's the BASICS

Welcome to the fourth annual installment of Visions of Temptation - the multifandom kinktober content creation challenge hosted at my blog.

Frottage - Rubbing against another person's body/part of the body.

Mirror sex - Sex in front of a mirror.

Dacryphilia - Crying during sex.

S/M - Sadism and masochism.

Spitroasting - A three-way sex act in which a person is penetrated orally and either anally or vaginally.

Omegaverse - taken from fanlore. org: A kink trope wherein some people have defined biological roles based on a hierarchical system.

Flipping through Queen of the Damned for inspiration and came across this description of Armand from Daniel:

"Ah, that soft reasonable voice, that open and almost trusting boyish face, the auburn hair always slipping into the eye a bit carelessly, the body so suggestive of human serenity, of physical ease."

His trusting face! His soft voice! The way his hair is always falling over one eye! The way he seems so relaxed and so human even though he's something other.

It's such a great, evocative description of Armand. It's so easy to picture. No wonder Daniel is all in for this beautiful little weirdo (affectionate).

One of my favourite things about Akasha as a villain is how hard she tries to convince everybody (including herself) that all her mass murder is for some higher purpose.

I genuinely believe that she believes there is a coherent ideology to her schemes outside of her own self interest. She's fully blinded herself to her own greed and lust for power which is just so fascinating.

i do think the most interesting interpretation of btvs lore is that non-vampire demons and mystical entities ALL have souls, unless they sold, destroyed or otherwise got rid of them (like the mayor)
