anyhow have a new stephanie lauter verse because im :)

in 1824, the first mayoral election in the newly founded town of hatchetfield and 'prime' candidate solomon lauter was losing- BIG time. having put most of his monetary fund and dignity on the line, lauter turned to what would be his last resort, making a deal with the same beings whom willabella muckwab would rattle on about. upon finding her book, he attempted to ritual to summon this being, but instead of making contact with him, his brother, nibblenephim, sensing his passion and want for his offered him a deal in his place. in exchange for his power, for power for his entire bloodline, the god placed what he promoted to be a minor... difficulty but instead turned out to be a curse. he would be mayor, he would have his control over hatchetfield, his family would stand tall and powerful, amongst the crowds they wish to, but in return, his family would not age, like him, and like him, they would share a deep hunger... and a certain appetite, essentially turning the mayor, his wife, and their eighteen year old daughter into vampires. reasonably horrified at what her husband had done, the mother and wife fled the next day leaving an angry solomon alone with his daughter.

the lauter's reappear and disappear in hatchetfield in twenty year incriminates, allowing solomon to immediately assume mayor while steph works through high school and is quickly one of the most popular girls in school.

logistics wise, the sun is an irritant, but they can be in the sun and they don't fucking sparkle. i have a few other details i can and will spill to folks who want the deets BUT have a little start to some details. but here's the BASICS
