Today on Donuts and Dogs we encountered a large dog with a muzzle in a group with a few other dogs on the trail. I didn’t initiate anything but the dog came up and rubbed so aggressively affectionately on us that we had to pet him.

I offered that I’ve seen dogs muzzled to prevent them eating rocks as a roundabout question. His mom sighed and said he has to wear it because otherwise he eats marijuana.

WHAT IS UP WITH THE HOGWARTS LEGACY FANDOM?????????????

I am so fucking fed up with this fandom & honestly it makes me lose any desire to post anything here anymore.

So many people here look at EVERYTHING as a damn competition and it’s NOT. It should be a place for people to brainrot together, talk about theories, and enjoy seeing what other people draw and write etc. Have I sometimes felt insecure bc I don’t get as many notes as other people?! Yes of course…but I always focus on the connections and the lovely people I’ve met and like talking to bc that’s why I post in the first place. I didn’t spend 4 months posting my fic to 10 kudos and 1 comment with basically no feedback bc I care about popularity😆😆

I’ve never been part of a fandom before this one but honestly everything feels so immature here, especially lately. Is it NORMAL to send hate to people who interpret the characters differently than you?! Or send hate to people who ship something you don’t like???? Is it NORMAL to start a confessions blog that’s for people to vague post about others & give everyone reading it anxiety??? (And NO, it’s not “leveling the playing field” wtf). Is it NORMAL to be so close minded, that you’re always trying to start shit with other people?!!??

It is SO FUCKING EXHAUSTING & honestly I try my hardest to NOT feed into any negativity and I’ve never posted the hate I’ve gotten because quite frankly, it’s ridiculous.

I genuinely love seeing what all of you post and always try to comment when I have the mental energy, because I love having a sense of community and you’re all very talented.

Small but significant character moments that I actually really adore are from both the times we see the boys as tots. There is a reoccurrence that happens in both of them that I find so incredibly interesting.

For the turtle tot short, Splinter leaves the boys with weapons. In the short, Raph is the one who suggests they do “what Lou Jitsu would do” and Leo is the one who takes point when Splinter comes back to reprimand them. Leo, in taking point, is the one to defend them and get Splinter off their tails.

And then, in the flashback regarding the Kuroi Yōroi helmet, Raph is the one who grabs and throws “Skully” as a way to replace their missing ball which breaks it into pieces, but Leo is the one who speaks for the group and rushes into action to fix the teapot.

I love this for multiple reasons, but the biggest are how it shows that Raph has always been inclined toward the bold and fun and making the plans to include his brothers in what he loves and believes they’d love, whereas Leo has always been inclined to be the “Face” of the group and shoulder the attention even if it’s potentially negative all while coming up with on the spot attempts to fix the situation.

So I finished the Cam x MC x G snippet. They're cute/chaotic which explains the friendship perfectly.

It allowed me to see how and if things could work for them as a trio.

In a Chris free world, one where Cam wasn't used as the family joke or his parents had time for him and he wasn't fighting for a shred of attention. A world in which G never lost one of their closest friends/lovers (1st at that), it could have been possible.

Because they would be fundamentally different than they are now.

Writing Cam's part each time came down to, "I want to be the one doing that to MC or with MC." (The guys very MC centric romantic or not.)

G came down to, "I want this to be an us thing not a we thing" points at Cam. Just as G and MC had their friendship outside of the trio. It was special because it was just the two of them. They had their own dynamic.

So yeah, tldr that's all to say I came, I saw, I tested it out. They're happier when it's Cam x MC, or G x MC. And so am I. They're so troublesome. (Affectionate)

I got hit by the weirdest AU but

The image of Peem and maybe Q and Pun running one of those toy clinics that fix plushies and dolls. One day Fang and Toey come running in like "Help! Emergency! Our brother will kill us" holding The plushie (Noi) with like a tear or one of the arms completely detached (No clue what happened. Maybe one of them got a puppy). The thing is that when they talk to them they never really clarify that their brother is not a kid?

Flashforward to when the plushie is ready and Toey sends a message like "heh. Our brother found out. He is going to pick it up" and Peem is like ??? They are letting a little kid come alone for it? Weird but ok.

And then instead here comes tall, dashing and handsome Phum kind of embarrassed going "umm hi. I'm here for my plushie? 🥺"

Cue flustered Peem. Shy Phum. And a very much over this Q (who already has kind of a crush on Toey)
