Im soooo weak to when Bond is like casually being used or exploited at his expense for some ostensible Greater Good except the situation doesn't HAVE to come to that, not really, and he's so inured and even numb to it that he barely pays it any mind; meanwhile, Q absolutely minds and is very indignant on his behalf and works overtime to like either try to avert or forestall the situation before it gets to the point where Bond has to dig his own claws into more of his soft underbelly to offer up on the sacrificial alter of politics of all tawdry things, or to manufacture a way in which he does the needless "needful" so as to spare Bond at least one unnecessary additional wound upon his psyche.

bonus if Bond finds out and maybe after being angry or indignant about it - I don't need you to do my job for me, Q, this is what I'm here to do - and either Q tells him/lets slip or he deduces that like, this isn't Q thinking he can't get the job done, this is Q finding him precious and worthy of protecting, and like. he's just very in awe of that and does in fact feel very safe and cherished within the cradle of his Quartermaster's regard

Mechi's new munchkin cat has been patrolling the containment chamber frequently, keeping the entities in line. She's DOCTOR Charlotte now. She has doctorates in Itty-Bitty-Leggies and Cuteness 101.

I feel like in the past the mix of this site being used for both activism and fandom helped contribute to a lot of unhinged politicized fandom discourse where yeah ofc there's a political tie to media but ppl used it as... a form of activism where it was given disproportionate importance compared to other activism discussions? Whereas now we're swinging to the opposite site of How Dare You Care About Meaningless TV Shows When Politics.

Like... we can have a mix of realizing there's more important stuff to focus on than shipping discourse in the world at large without also minimizing the insane doxxing and death threats behavior going on in fandom that people in fandom have to take into consideration to be able to do their hobby, esp given how those attitudes stem from irl political climates at times in ways that are telling to study. Hobbies are kinda how we prevent activism burnout also. Crazey how that works.

he's just gotten a ridiculous amount of flowers from the armstrong intelligence agent and he needs to do something with them, and his mind immediately goes "give them to riza".

like, bradley JUST called this man's ass out for wearing his heart on his sleeve and yet he just. keeps simping.

(you know what that is folks? king shit.)

(maybe he thought since he's not her boss right now he could get away with it. high key obsessed by that manga panel in the 'selim b is homunculus' convo where roy asks her out and riza shoots him down not having a CLUE that's what he's doing:

and not only does roy decide to give her the flowers he decides to start off the call doing a goofy little bit.

i repeat, roy knows riza's going through a tough time and his game plan is to bring her flowers and try and make her laugh.

i'm frankly amazed these two weren't written up for fraternization before this. only the bad guys ever bring it up and no-one else ever calls them out on it in-universe but these two are NOT subtle.

truly nothing on this earth is more foul than supernatural familial abuse discourse but specifically the discourse people have about if sam or dean "had it worse" like ok cool you have already missed the point of this show very hard.

#the things ive seen in those trenches.....#its like actually their circumstances were based on their positionality in the family and the expectations each had #but on another level the discourse never truly explores what sams life was like as a child. hes either a spoiled brat or a martyr #in ways that make him one dimensional in ways fanon child dean just. isnt.#sam isnt just isolated. hes also controlled and surveilled. any wrong move (unbeknownst to him) proves to john hes irredeemable #like the center of john telling dean he might have to kill sam. is always dean like i feel crazy with how little consideration there is #toward the mental headspace of a guy whose whole childhood is suddenly warped by the realization his father suspected he was evil #and might need to be put down like a dog. and then. sam accepts this!!!! he truly believes is he Crosses A Line dictated by deans judgement #then oops oh well! because fundamentally sam has been conditioned to believe in his own inability to make decisions about himself #so the 'dean protects sam! dean keeps sam innocent and gave him a childhood' becomes much more insidious when u realize #that is one side of the coin wherein sam is under the complete authority of another person #and obv dean is not evil for that. its learned behavior!!#but instead of teasing out this reality when we learn what john told dean... it becomes aww poor dean :(( instead of a horrific glimpse int #the hierarchy of information and control fundamental to their relationship. guys its a cult.#my posts #spn

I wasn't even keeping up with the MHA manga but I did read the last three chapters without context and I've already decided how to fix the ending for my Self Insert

#mha manga spoilers #bnha manga spoilers #The League is not dead first of all that's a really Fucked Up ending #Instead they all end up in Critical Condition and the Public is told they're dead #(Including my S/I who is currently in captivity for conspiring with the League)#Jump cut to months later All Might comes to visit me and says there's someone who wants to see me #So cuffed and blinded I ride in his car to a secure location #Said location turns out to be a spare dormitory on UA grounds #And inside- is the League!#They'd been waiting until they'd all woken up and been released for the Hospital before letting us all see eachother #We're all sat down (piled on one couch holding on however we can) and told the situation #The plan was change our names and ship us off to another country with dedicated surveillance #So we can have our second chance in piece #But rebuilding Japan is taking a LOT of resources so we all have to sit tight at UA until they have funds to spare again #Which will be a few years #In the meantime we get lots of visitors! The Todorokis come over every night to make dinner #All Might and Izuku come to sit and talk with Tomura an hour or so a day #Ochaco spends every spare moment between Rebuild work with Himiko either in the house or wandering school grounds #And after probably a full year or better of this life Nezu comes to me with a proposal of making the League official UA staff #They have a perspective that is very important to young heroes now a days and plenty of experience on the field #It's keep us under surveillance without forcing us to move away from the families we've just reconnected to #And that's how both Tomura and Izuku can be UA Teachers together <3
