Kenadian’s boots scraped against stone as he paced back and forth, the flickering light from the furnace casting jagged shadows on the walls. His breaths came fast, shallow, the weight of everything suffocating him. Across the room, Wato sat cross-legged, carefully bandaging Wifies’s hand. Blood stained the gauze. Not much, but enough to make Ken’s throat tighten.

“You’re not careful enough,” Ken snapped, voice cracking. He didn’t even look at them. “You’re going to get yourself killed one day, and then—” He cut himself off, fists clenching.

Wato glanced up from their work, brow furrowed. “Ken.” Their voice was gentle, but firm. “You’re not helping.”

Ken stopped pacing but didn’t turn around. He stood stiff as a plank, trembling with a storm he couldn’t contain. “I told you not to split up. I told you it was dangerous.”

“And I heard you,” Wifies said quietly. His voice was steady, even as pain lined his features. “But someone had to check the west wing. If I hadn’t, we wouldn’t have found the supplies.”

Ken spun around. “Supplies? Supplies don’t matter if you’re dead, Wifies!” His voice echoed, sharp as flint.

Wato sighed, finishing the bandage with a careful knot. “Ken, sit down before you wear a trench into the floor.”

For a moment, Ken just stared at them, chest heaving, jaw tight. Then, reluctantly, he sank onto the edge of a battered crate. His head dropped into his hands. “I can’t lose either of you,” he whispered, barely audible.

The silence that followed was heavy, broken only by the soft crackle of the furnace.

Wato moved first, crossing the room to sit beside Ken. They didn’t say anything at first, just leaned their shoulder against his. A grounding presence.

“You’re not going to lose us,” Wato said after a long moment. Their voice was soft, steady, like the hum of the earth itself. “We’re still here. Right now, we’re here.”

Ken’s hands tightened in his hair. “You don’t know that. This place—this whole thing—it’s a death trap. And every time we go out there, I feel like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.”

Wifies shifted, standing carefully. He crossed to where Ken sat, his steps slow but deliberate. “Ken.” His voice drew Ken’s attention. When their eyes met, Wifies crouched in front of him, ignoring the dull throb in his injured hand. “I get it. I do. But if you keep spiraling like this, you’re going to break yourself apart. And then who’s going to keep us together?”

Ken’s breath hitched. “I’m not enough to keep anyone together.”

“That’s not true,” Wato interjected. “You’re the one who gets us moving when things fall apart. You care, Ken. Too much, maybe, but that’s why we trust you.”

Wifies nodded. “We’re a team. If one of us falls, the others will pull them back. That includes you.”

Ken stared at the floor, his shoulders trembling. For a long while, he didn’t say anything. Then, slowly, he let out a shaky breath. “I just… I can’t lose you two,” he said again, quieter this time.

Wato leaned against him a little more, their warmth solid and real. “We know.”

“And we’re not planning on going anywhere,” Wifies added, reaching out to rest his good hand lightly on Ken’s knee. “Not if we can help it.”

Ken let out a choked laugh, somewhere between bitter and relieved. “You’d better not. I don’t think I could survive alone with this guy.” He nudged Wato, the tiniest hint of a smirk breaking through his stormy expression.

Wato rolled their eyes, but the corner of their mouth quirked up. “Please. You’d be begging for my company after a day.”

The tension in the room eased, just a little. Enough for the three of them to breathe again.

“We’ll get through this,” Wato said, their voice soft but certain. “Together.”

Ken nodded, finally letting himself lean into the support they offered. For the first time that day, the crushing weight on his chest didn’t feel quite so suffocating.

okay ! i downloaded the world download, and here are the results from the precursory viewing of the world download of the kenadian april fools lore stuff: I DONT KNOW.

what ive found inside the world: - the main escape room (featuring the cheaty command blocks and the wifies kill chamber) - the old escape rooms wifies has done on his channel (ken and wifies passed them on the way to the evil lair in the videos. this is not the absurdly large one as seen in but there was more) - evil wifies evil lair (all of the wifies running around were actually foxes! this is interesting to me!) - the trivia stage (was off in a weird corner??) - a random 10-block long strip of white concrete above the escape room. its at y319. why is it there.

what i HAVENT found inside the world: - the meeting room where the interrogation was held (in the true creator) - the weird bedrock platform with a hole in it that normal wato fell through - subsequently as there is no weird bedrock platform there is no weird White Blob - the absurdly giant escape room as seen kens 2nd video (but there was more)

the whole thing is just a vast expanse of void. i couldve easily missed something, apologies if i did. i didnt fully explore the mansion, but i will be going back to do that!

it makes sense why some these things arent here. the interrogation room and the bedrock platform (+ white blob)? those things existed only in videos on watos channel. i got this world download from the kenadian discord. it makes sense why the things not featured in kens video arent on here. and the infinite escape room? yeah why the hell would he leave that in a world download. it would spoil any upcoming videos related to this.

sooo yeah nothing Particularly Interesting, but it all makes sense!

Look, I may not remember ever building this place but dear lord does it need a good cleaning! Atleast I can repurpose this stuff to make something cool... I can finally set my spawn back home and not in an elaborate array of escape rooms anymore.

I've recently taken a hiatus from tumblr to focus on drawing and catching up/queuing fic updates for my inevitably dreadful final semester of grad school, which is going. uhhhh well.

Instead I have made plans of a new AU which is. fine, but I am aware people are waiting for updates so I'm trying to split time, and hearing what's most wanted can help with that.

I'm really excited that Desperado and Wato will be teaming up for this year's Super Junior Tag League, for a few reasons!

First of all, I love the reversal of Desperado's usual dynamic. Desperado is a wrestler who is almost always pursuing others. Ever since he first appeared as Desperado, he's fallen into that pattern almost exclusively. Even when he was the IWGP Jr champion, he didn't sit back and let challengers come to him - he chased after people who he wanted to fight even while holding the belt. It's really interesting to see a reversal of that dynamic, with Wato pursing Desperado instead.

Also, I think Desperado is exactly the tag partner Wato needs right now to help him grow as a wrestler. Desperado often credits his years teaming with Kanemaru for much of his own skill and growth as a wrestler. I think that Desperado can do much the same for Wato, and I really think Wato will become a better wrestler by teaming with him.

I also think there's some potential for real growth and change in Desperado's character here too. Desperado is a face now, at least theoretically. And even though he's mostly kept to his own small group in Strong Style, he's supposed to be a member of Hontai. I'm very interested to see how he'll behave teaming up with Wato, an absolute babyface.

In any case, I hope they come up with some kind of cat-related tag team name.

so, did you guys know that Wato uploads youtube shorts from time to time? Neither did I! I didn’t go looking, either, I took a break from irl stuff to scroll mindlessly, and I’m met with fucking lore. Wato1876 is ruining my life.

So, the short (in video format because it’s easier to look through) can be found here.

So, what happens here? This is, as stated in the description, a clip from the prologue. And, since in the prologue, it jumpcuts to the future, this is what actually happens when wato falls down there.

What actually happens here? it’s the clip from the prologue- but instead of cutting to the future, with Omz Mask Wifies in the escape room, Wato falls down a bedrock tunnel into the white blob, facing a player/entity with an entirely black skin except for the Omz Mask, and then it starts an undertale fight (I don’t know how to explain it. It shows the classic red heart over their chest, and then it moves to the side like what happens in Undertale, iirc)

So, this is the infamous white blob room. But, there’s one crucial difference.

The redstone- which, in many maps is used to signify blood- is gone. So, likely, someone died in here.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know who.

We now can assume this is powdered snow, as Wato falls directly into the middle of it- but his landing is cut off, so we can’t be sure. @enlighten3d’s theory proposes that the Omz Mask is tied to this white blob. While interesting, I disagree- I think this is a trap made for Wato. Why? I don’t know. But powdered snow is an interesting block to be used to stop a player’s fall- it slows them down significantly, and they can start taking freezing damage. If this is a trap, then using powered snow to stop a fall gives the trapper a significant advantage. Otherwise, why not use water? This is a trap made for Wato.

Now, let’s be honest. I’m avoiding the main question here. Who the hell is this?

We have no idea. It wears the Omz Mask over an entirely black skin, and likely, it sets a trap for Wato. But that’s all we know about them. This figure has never been seen before.

Well, that’s not actually true.

@crowskullls pointed out that the Omz Mask can be seen watching the interrogation in the epilogue. But, this isn’t just any character with the mask. This is the same character in the white blob room. So, who is this character? I’m just going to be calling them the Omz Entity from now on (Omz Mask is too confusing, Omz is already a player).

I have two theories for what the Omz Entity is- 1, it is the original creator/wearer of the Omz Mask, and it wants it back, or 2, this is an entity/demon/something that controls the people wearing the mask.

Personally, I’m leaning towards the first theory for a couple of reasons- based on my theory, during the prologue, Omz Mask Wifies has already been created, and so Wato no longer has the Mask. If the Omz Entity wants it back, it makes sense to trap Wato- he likely has no idea that Wato no longer has the mask, but killing the person with the mask gives you the mask back. This also explains why he’s watching the interrogation in the epilogue. He’s looking for clues, or to see if either Kenadian or Wifies have the mask. Possibly, he is the person who kills Omz Mask Wifies. And if he’s the creator, it makes sense that it looks like he has it, even if he doesn’t.

And there’s the third theory that I haven’t mentioned- this is thing is made to fuck with Wato. This might be the person he mentioned watching him while falling down a pit when he’s being interrogated. And, as pointed out, the Omz Entity is watching the interrogation- watching Wato. Why? I don’t know.

This raises so many questions. Whatever went down in the white blob room, it wasn’t a lore sort of perma-death, as we see both characters later. So, what is the Omz Entity, why is it there, and what does it want? We don’t know. The theories I prefer are that it is the creator and wants it back, or that this thing is stalking Wato in particular. This does explain the random shot of the cabin from the outside- this is the perspective of the Omz Entity. That’s basically all we know about this character.

Honestly, I’m still very confused.

hello tumblr! okay so ive somehow ended up hyperfixating on the whole kenadian, wifies, and wato april fools collab and trying to figure out What The Hell Is Going On, and. i have somewhat of a theory. it is very incomplete and probably wrong bcs a) i have no knowledge of the omz mask backstory, b) its very thrown together, c) i am just completely making up what the mask does. BUT HERE IT IS EITHER WAY:

i propose that normal wato (wato in normal skin) and masked wato (wato with the mask and wifies clothes and player head (i say that its wato with the mask bcs this wato is the one with this skin on namemc)) are the same person. i propose that masked wato took evil wifies place and is Up To Something.

apologies if this is incoherent.

in the true creator, we see that normal wato is being interrogated by kenadian and wifies, right? this takes place last of the five april fools videos. during the interrogation wato says that he doesnt remember anything at all. but slowly, it comes back to him. eventually he says that he built MOST of the escape room, and leaves to go look at it. while he looks at it, he has flashbacks to building it. except its not really him building it, its masked wato building it. he built MOST of the room. masked wato built the rest. but these are flashbacks, these are memories. how is he remembering masked watos actions if hes not the masked one?

we know from the prologue that it was normal wato that built the escape room, which supports his statement of doing so during the interrogation scene. but how could he be masked and unmasked and building the escape room? i propose that he got the mask halfway through building the escape room. he built a lot of it, got the mask, and then masked wato built the rest of the escape room.

but we know that the interrogation scene takes place after everything happens. wato is back to normal. no mask, no wifies clothes. so he lost it! when? to who? i dont know about the latter part, but he definitely lost the mask after taking evil wifies place and jumping out of that window.

oh yeah, he took evil wifies place. during the true creator, we see footage of masked wato finishing the escape room - being the third to do so - and going inside the factory. he takes the torch that we saw ken putting there in his video to get inside, which is the first sign that this is after all that. masked wato goes upstairs, TO EVIL WIFIES OFFICE, and takes one of the wifies heads (during the Confrontation with evil wifies, we see that both of those heads are there - which means masked wato hadnt been by yet!), and puts it on. he SITS IN EVIL WIFIES CHAIR, looking for all the world like hes a wifies. evil wifies dead, and hes the new one. then he jumps out fo the window and loses the mask after that lol

but hes wearing the mask. the mask has control over him. when masked wato continues to build the escape room, the mask has control over him. where did he go in the gap between making the room and appearing in it? NO CLUE. but the mask has control over him. the mask wants things.

i think the mask fucks with peoples memories. scrambles em all up. when, in the prologue, wato falls through the bedrock and lands in the first chamber of the escape room, he suddenly has the mask (and wifies clothes - i checked, even before the 3rd person its wifies skin. thank you namemc), which means that this is in the future. yet hes all confused and stuff about how hes there - he hadnt even started building the room yet, afterall. hes confused as all hell, but tries to get out- and then the video glitches.

IN THAT MOMENT, IN THAT MOMENT IN THE FUTURE, THE MASK HAD LOST CONTROL FOR A BIT. IT LOST CONTROL AND LET HIS MEMORIES PRE-MASK COME BACK FOR A BIT. but when the video glitches.. thats when it gets control back. we never see the pov of masked wato while hes under the masks control, as far as im aware.

the mask retains control all throughout the rest of the escape room, its the reason why he takes evil wifies place. and then he.. jumps out of the window??? my best guess is that its control slipped again and he decided to Get The Fuck Out.

and then yeah, he loses the mask somehow. i think it may have something to do with but there was more - the second, unlisted, kenadian vid. in it, we see an unmasked wato that has wifies clothes on. i think that when kenadian went exploring post-Confrontation (the Confrontation being the wifies vs evil wifies trivia game), he found the mass of escape rooms, and that was where wato had escaped to. thats where ken found him and is right before the interrogation scene. i dont know how wato lost the mask there. maybe he killed it /j

also, another reason i think wato got the mask while building the escape room: when he falls through the bedrock into the future memory in prologue, we later see him tower out of there - as normal wato. so even without the memory, theres another room down there. and we see this room in the true creator! during the 'post-mask wato goes on a flashback adventure' we see him FALL DOWN THAT EXACT BEDROCK PLACE. AND YOU KNOW WHATS THERE?? THIS FUCKING THING.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS. I HAVE NO CLUE. IT LOOKS LIKE SNOM FROM POKÉMON. but yeah i think its tied to the mask and powers it/anchors it somehow?? i have no clue. but that room is inherently tied to the mask either way bcs its the last moment that wato remembers when the masks influence is lowered (as seen in the 'masked wato is trapped and Confused, help' section of the prologue). so it may be like,,, the start of the masks influence, and then he gets the mask a bit later. bcs we know that normal wato BUILT a lot of the escape room (due to him saying so during the interrogation). but we know that masked wato in escape room only remembers PLANNING it - which, hey! thats whne he met White Blob!

okay. so that was a lot of stuff, right? a lot of evidence? where does it lead? HERES MY HYPOTHETICAL TIMELINE:

- normal wato gets commissioned to build an escape room, which he does

- somehow (maybe due to Weird Blob That May Or May Not Be Snom From Pokémon), during the planning, he comes into contact with the mask

- he builds a lot of the escape room

- actually ACQUIRES the mask, and masked wato continues to build the escape room

- Time Passes. during this time he is fully under the masks control and does not remember any of it when not under its influence

- end up in the escape room post-kenadian going through it. his last memory is planning stuff and falling through a weird hole in the bedrock. the mask has less control over him, and he is Panicking.

- mask regains control, and masked wato solves the rest of the escape room (being the third person to do it)

- goes up to the factory, takes a wifies head to replace the one he used to get out of the first chamber of the escape room, and sits in evil wifies chair

- jumps out the fucking window

- ends up in the far reaches of the world with a bunch of old wifies escape rooms (thats what i heard they were) - i think he built them during the Time Passes section while completely under the masks control

- somehow loses the mask there

- his memory is completely fucked up

- that is where kenadian finds him after going Exploring

- kenadian and wifies interrogate him

- he gets Flashbacks and supposedly remembers some of what hes done

yeah thats it. thats what i think happened!

THINGS THIS THEORY IGNORES/DOESNT EXPLAIN:

- how the mask actually works bcs i am literally just making shit up

- what the FUCK THE WHITE BLOB IS

- why on earth masked wato is pretending to be wifies. why is he in wifies clothes. why the player head. was he pretending to be one of the clones???? WAS HE EVIL WIFIES ALL ALONG??

- most of kenadian lore bcs yeah i dont know any of it i need to go watch those videos

- bunch of other stuff

is this theory wrong? probably yes! do i care? yeah but also no, i like this theory
