So often in myth there's a quest to find the Water of Life hidden away in some obscure Fountain of Youth or Tuck Everlasting-style pool. And it'll be this closely guarded secret that only a few people ever know about: a finite resource.
But what's so beautiful is that in Narnia, there's a whole ocean of it. The Water of Life is boundless and infinite. It's all you can see in every direction. You are literally floating in it.

the premise that The Change gets all messed up for alberto, say it's something that can happen from stress, &/or happens rarely and you just have to wait for it to resolve itself....used as some parallel to struggling through some emotional turbulence / upheaval / questioning / Realizing Things, etc etc

our tree fell over merry christmas ! [Breakdances]
#knox rambles#my mom loves the smell of the pine trees so we do a real tree when we can#and you gotta water those suckers#so we just finished decorating it and watered it#and BLAMMO ITS ON THE FLOOR#cut to me running into the room with the towel i was using as an extra blanket#running back for my shower towel and my old towel that weve been using for the dog#catch me sliding across the floor and basicaly mopping up half the water with my pants and the other half with the towels#pine needles flying everywhere#ornaments in water#all the towels are in the sink now heck actualy i gotta move those so they can dry before i go to sleep actually#anyway i find this to be a highly entertaining adventure#my brothers tell me this is not the first time our tree has fallen over i have no recollection of jt however#so im counting this as my first tree falling over#we're going to bed now cautiously and i fully expect the tree to be back down by morning ngl#miraculously not a single ornament broke#anyway i gotta move those towels um happy december holidays folks#and to all a good night

#just finished my fucking shower and dried off and went to give my hair one more squeeze and bumped the...#...hanging pot above my head (there are 2 but this fern died) and the fucking dollar tree rope broke and got all over#theres sand in it and to even get out of the tub i had to just rinse my legs so i dont track dirt all over my ...#... already bare floor (carpet padding is being replaced) in order to get the paper towels#had to wait like 10 minutes for the water to drain thru the drain catch before i could step out#then waste so many paper towels wiping up as much sand as i could ffs man. i was CLEAN.#then shower AGAIN. and use the same towel that was mostly clean but ALREADY USED AND WET#BC I WAS DONE SHOWERING AND ABOUT TO STEP OUT WHEN THIS HAPPENED#i yelled so loud i was so mad the instant it happened i knew it was a disaster. surprised no one in the house came to see#so yeah. no more shower plants allowed. i see the other pots rope is thinning so i gotta remove that one too#after i spent so long installing the hooks lmao. gotta figure out what to put there then. maybe suncatchers idk.#man it sucks so hard. that dirt was DRY and i breathed in so much dust i couldnt blow out after i was done#shower thoughts#lol#funny#what do i even tag this man lol#indoor plants#shower plants#srsly tho i was so scared i fucked up the plumbing but when i showered after it was running fine so i think the sand didnt go thru the sieve#im gna be on edge abt it for a while tho#2024 has been brutal on me#on the off chance someone seeing this post is having a worse day than this. i love you and i hope it gets better.#Cori.exe#Image.exe#me#would you love me if i was a worm#dirt#soil#oh worm?#wormcore

I truly feel like a dirtbagger. I’m so fucking dirty. Like just covered in it 24/7
#I don’t even dirtbag I sleep in my car 😭 BUT THERES SO MYCH DIRT#I wash myself off and then I’m immediately dirty again#my friend Kyra was in the TTI and in wilderness (in the same state I’m in rn actually) and there’s this thing called perma dirt#which is basically just being so dirty that the dirt doesn’t come off for like a long ass time#I think I’m getting there honestly#like I’m partially tanner but I’m sure some of it is also dirt lmao#doesn’t help that I just fucking tripped and went down HARD on my long run#scraped my knee and thigh and now my upper body is also caked in dirt#and neosporin and a little blood#yall I haven’t taken like an actual indoor plumbing type shower in a month#I HAVE washed myself with soap and whatever JUST TO BE CLEAR#but I have not washed my hair since April#which is why I keep it short#THERES NO FUCKING GYMS AROUND HERE the closest ones are in Vegas and I’m not even in Nevada#I could wash my hair tbh but I’m going to be indoors again on Thursday so I can hold out a little longer#it’s surprisingly not even that bad looking or feeling#it’s somehow feels both dry and dirty but I’ve had worse honestly#anyway I’m gonna go slather creek water on me#prolly filter it bc of my open wounds tho#yeah idk I’ve never been this dirty in my life but it’s kind of what I was going for/expectibg anywzy#car life#I imagine Keith was similar when he lived in the desert#which is also consequently where I am

this morning we had car trouble (oil light kept turning on, even after refilling), now we have water leaking down our living room wall because the drain for the washing machine wasn't placed correctly.
I've been bawling my eyes out all afternoon. I am so incredibly tired and hormonal, my brain just crashes.
#my friend brought babe home & my dad can pick babe up and drop him off at the garage tomorrow. that was one thing handled.#after a shower and a good cry i'm finally sitting on the couch after putting on a load of laundry when i hear dripping#i look behind me and the fresh white paint is just watering down. i run upstairs in a panic#turn off the washing machine. babe grabs the last towels that I had unpacked to dry the puddle that had formed#we called the cooperation and the guy who relocated the supply and drains is available to come over tomorrow#i. am. so. freaking. done.#i'm defeated

Oh... I think the really thick dark tall patches of grass are where I threw fertilizer down last summer thinking it was grass seed when I bought it. I got it to fix the lawn that the stupid lawn care guy destroyed (they've moved onto greener pastures. Commercial private properties) and it seemed to only make it more bald but I guess it just needed time 😅 welp

... how am I meant to get any sort of restful sleep when it's like 85F indoors in my bedroom at NIGHT .. hhhhhhhhhhhhhh
#why the next poll adventure and everything else has taken so long lol.. I straight up have just not done anything#the past few days... staring down my todo list and sweating hopelessly#AT LEAST it;s relatively low humidity. the highest it's been up to is maybe 65%. but is usually around 50 or 40ish#There is one small window air conditioner in a roomate's room that can KIND OF be shared by nailing a sheet up to block off the hallway#with the rooms in it so the cool air goes into the other bedrooms but doesnt flow out into the kitchen or etc but#wjhen it's the time of day that the sun is directly hitting the window & it's like 102F outside even that doesnt help much. to cool 3 rooms#and I always feel like we're going to explode the air conditioner or something running it too much with direct heat on it. sometimes it#smells like hot plastic or whatever ghj.. so it's mostly just.. block off all windows with 5 layers of blankets and cardboard#starting at 10am (meaning.. no indoor light for days basically.. no natural lighting.. time passes weird. hard to determine time of day).#throw water on the bed every night so you sleep in wet sheets and keep your clothes and hair wet at all times. ice. cold drinks. keep a#little fan running pointed directly at you nearly 24/7 even when sleeping with a fan blowing air on you makes your eyes and throat painfull#dry. etc. etc.. and i KNOW people have it worse in plenty of places blah blah. i am just complaining on my little blog that is about me lol#I think the biggest thing about lack of adequate/central air conditioning for me is just the LACK of productivity!!! I am working on games!#and novels!! and so many other crafts. costumes! sculptures!!! things I want to do!!! we all have a limited amount of time on this planet a#nd I have so many goals!! To lose basically 4-5 days straight or producivity - when if I had been able to temperature#control my environment better I could have easily gotten more done because I wouldn't be laying around nuseous and too hot#and sick to do anything all day etc. -- is like.... GRRRRRR... it just feels so senseless.. i could have USEd that time...#Every CEO who has contributed to global warming owes me 1million doallrs to fund my art projects and make up for all the time#I've lost on them due to their stupid bullshit.. also they should be stoned to death in a public square. but redistribute the money FIRST#to everyone on the planet. but especially people who have been affected by floods. fires. etc. etc.#poor people who have limited choice in housing and access to air conditioning. homeless people in cooling centers. people with disabillitie#and health issues that are worse in the heat so the entire future just seems increasingly terrifying for them. etc. etc.#ANYWAY.... eughhhgh.... It can cool down SLIGHTLY at night but the past few nights I have been sleeping in an 81 degree room and I wake up#and first thing in the morning its like 82 by then and I'm so nauseous and nasty feeling... just so so tired of it.. I NEED SNOW#literally not even joking.. snow would heal me. .. oughffff...#AND i got the new nasty stinky poo poo pee pee tumblr dashboard update lol.. e v i l
