yall I just saw a few parts of miraculous world London special and I'm TWEAKING WTF, I'll watch the full episode tomorrow but damn Adrien finding out that Gabriel is dead, breaking down and pushing ladybug away out of anger, while leaning on kagami instead, and ladybug breaking down hugging Nathalie, is probably one of the saddest things I've ever seen pan out in miraculous and miraculous has pretty damn sad things. It shows the heavy baggage thats forced upon both ladybug and Adrien at the same by Gabriel

my dad bought me a copy of good omens before the tv show came out bc he thinks it's such a phenomenal book and I read it and agreed and then like 1/4 of the way in I (queer teenage girl) asked him (50 year old straight man) "crowley and aziraphale.. is that like... a thing?" and he goes "oh idk i never really thought so why" and I was like "just really getting that vibe also he calls him love like... a couple times" and this man said "yeah but they're british." so anyways happy yeah but they're british to that season two finale stay strong out there my soldiers

#oouggghhgskfbie#finished the books years ago but feeling grief now the show is finished too 😶#S4 was amazing like. whole show easily the best adaptation of anything I’ve read#idk I feel doubly bereft bc I always watched it w my dad whose fam were from a Neapolitan neighbourhood really similar to that#and he used to be so moved by all the dialect and characters he recognised#and he didn’t live long enough to finish the books or the show#he was gonna start the fourth one a few months before the final season so he had it fresh in his mind#and then he wasn’t really capable of reading anymore by spring so that never happened#idk im just like. agh. it was nice sharing that w him but i finished it alone :(#my brilliant friend

unrelated but kind of obsessed with xmen days of future past (the movie). i can see exactly why it would be controversial but it’s internally consistent and a genuinely enjoyable piece of fanfiction esque plot contrivance. so you know. a comic book movie
