time is a flat circle where we watch a country go to another country and randomly will civilians because "what if they're the enemies haha we totally aren't clearing people out to steal their land" etc and we all go "wow thats fucking messed up, good thing it won't happen again!" and then the exact same thing happens right now and the same people somehow are just incapable of accepting that fact that we are living through history and letting the thing we said wont happen again fucking happen again.

It really rubs me the wrong way that supposed fans have bought tickets to Chiefs games with the sole purpose of trying to see Taylor. She’s just trying to be a person and you’re turning her into a spectacle and the only time she is intending to be a spectacle is at her shows where she is actively trying to entertain the audience. Taylor attending a game, going to dinner with friends or going to the studio is not her trying to or wanting to be a spectacle, she’s just trying to go about her day like you or I would and she deserves to feel like she can do things without being turned into a spectacle.

it’s the way people pay more attention/ talk about a grown ass rich man retiring from a racist fucking sports team then the multiple genocides, famine and war that’s going on in the world that really rubs me the wrong way

havin some overall Thots about ted lasso, but may wait until the finale next week to fully get them out there. nothing that i haven't seen being said about this season, which is that the pacing is very odd, and i remember being surprised way back when it was announced that it was going to be three seasons and not four. i do not fully believe that it was intended to be three in the way the creators have said. feels more like something out of necessity, than the best way to tell the story, which, i wouldn't have anything against that if that was the case, i fucking love the sense8 final movie for existing, although i know/one can see that it had to tie some very fast knots and drop a bunch of potential storylines -- this final season feels similar. id prefer a rushed ending to no ending at all, if that's the way the tv-landscape looks (and these days it really does look like that as we know).

i can see how they've gotten to the conclusions of multiple of the storylines, but the methods used to get there have been uneven. but that is interesting, may wanna poke at it some more after the final episode. overall this has been a pleasant journey to go on though. i feel very warmly about these characters and the ethos of the show.

my solution to the overwhelming vastness of the resevil lore that intimidates me is sitting in bed choosing which random movie i'll pick as background noise tonight while i ask myself would leon passively accept massimiliano's loud and messy self when he watches the football matches, join him in the mess or hate his guts as massi is once again shouting and clapping his hands and swearing and the neighbours are knocking on their door holy shit
