#(hopefully)#hi. i accidentally disappeared for a bit.#the burnout got to me ngl #haven't done a single creative thing all week #i did make it to the library though #my book for feb was i'm glad my mom died #i don't usually read nonfic but. i enjoyed it. i mean #as much as you can enjoy a book with that kind of subject matter #i read it in about a day. mostly in one sitting #i've gotten a head start on my march book & i'm genuinely almost regretting my pick #like. it's a compelling read & it's written in such a way that i want to know what happens but #it's fucking horrific. rarely do i need to put a book down & have a break but. i have done so several times w this book #i'm determined to finish it though. i need to know if there's like. a point to the horrors i'm experiencing or not #uhh i did also go dvd hunting #i found season 1 & season 2 of ATLA which were cool finds #i did find them at two different thrift stores which i thought was kinda funny #i'm probably gonna watch the new live action later but idk #n e way #rainyrambles

I really truly was not, and I was a major square too and followed all of my mom's rules very easily. To the point where whenever I went over to the neighbors place(they had a girl my age) and she'd be watching spongebob and I'd tell her she couldn't watch it with me over since I wasn't allowed and then she'd turn on NCIS! Which probably wasn't better considering we were like 7

#sometimes instead she'd take me to her family computer and show me the wonders of club penguin #or I'd beg and beg and beg to play dolls(she had way more than i did) and eventually she'd get them out #and then i'd simply sit on the floor and sort them for a bit before staring at em for like an hour while she continued to watch TV #.... thats actually probably one of The Most autistic child things i ever did ngl #ask

want to post about girls trip SO much but idk even where to start

#there's a scene where a runaway train nearly hits the three of them. flo's coat is irreparably ripped and she's devastated by this #holly pulls lucy off the tracks and then just Doesn't Let Go Of Her for a good couple minutes #they go back to the hotel they're staying at and even flo goes and takes a shower. it's basically free therapy at that point #they get takeout and sit in a hotel room shell shocked and unwilling to separate and then watch old movies on the hotel TV #holly in particular is having a rough week in that she's dealing with some reawakened trauma #and neither of the others knows this. all they know is that something is Off and she wouldn't let go of lucy and she's still shaking #and no one wants to start the conversation #there's also a scene where the manager of the train station they're investigating takes #takes issue with flo's entire...vibe..... and holly and lucy get a bit Fierce about defending her. you wanted lockwood & company #and this is the company. do you still want us? all of us??#that kind of thing #I'm SO into writing this ngl #Lu rambles #girls trip fic

realizing that when i finally finish rewatching pokemon i'll finally be able to rewatch certain episodes....

#i mean i know i CAN obviously rewatch episodes whenever i want but im trying to prevent an overload #which is why im pacing myself with different shows between seasons #so i feel like rewatching episodes when i dont need to will just lead to me getting burnt out #so im setting it as a goal instead.... when i get over journeys i can rewatch the gliscor eps again #at this point its been years since i saw them dubbed too #ngl i do sorta regret watching dp and bw subbed cause like. it was fun and a good experience #but ive got much more nostalgia for the dubs of both of those and they were easier to sit through #some of the original voices are better but marc thompson's goofy ass gliscor voice was one of the selling points to me #echoed voice

i think hanahaki is just such a cool concept because of how its base values can be interpreted! “flowers grow in your lungs with unrequited love”. does it matter how long you’ve loved that person? how serious does the love need to be? can obsession get you hanahaki? what about passion? platonic love? can you get hanahaki from family? friends? celebrities? how personal does it need to be? if you think it is love, but its actually some other emotion, does that count? i also personally subscribe to the concept of being able to remove hanahaki via surgery, on the expense of your capacity for love.. what about “unrequited love”? does it genuinely need to be unrequited, or does the person who gets it have to THINK its unrequited? are there other ways to rid of hanahaki? ive seen a few aus about how confessing can get rid of it, or maybe having your heartbroken? theres so many different ways to spin it, ways to write it, draw it, create from it! it also allows for people to utilize follow languages so beautifully in writing, something about it is just so nice
