He secretly influented PKs government on his position but he didn't take into account his growing relationship with the last mentioned, he fell in love; both of them did, despite Pale King's marriage; began an affair that couldn't last too long because of each one's guilts about this union, they maintained some private reunions and were pretty much still pining for eachother.

At least until PK found out about Lurien's treason, and his true intends, he felt used and this betrayal agaisnt him and the kingdom couldn't be spared...So he asked him for a final meeting in which he poisoned him. Lurien already regreted everything but his words did not have any chance to be listened.

i know this is old news but like. it is so fucking insane to me that convicted felons — who can qualify in every other way, citizens who are absolutely affected by elections and politics — are not allowed to vote in the united states. like that alone is fucking crazy. and fucked up and VERY intentional and on track for the usa. but still genuinely crazy to actually think about.

Considering the new information revealed about Guardian Urak, all of this suddenly makes sense. It also makes everything worse.

Part of the reason why Urak is so prideful of Till is because he's the only human who survived everything done to him and made it far enough to win (almost).

Till is Urak's magnum opus, just as Luka is Heperu's magnum opus. It's essentially a competition between someone who was born to win and someone who loses himself trying.

you not knowing how symbolism, language, censorship, or ANYTHING beyond surface level is not anyone else's fault but yours.

that single sentence has been a PLAGUE. you would not have survived the multitude of times stories had lovers turned to "cousins" or "siblings" just so it could broadcast or be published. so they could explain away all the hugging and snuggling, without the network pulling the plug. even if it was EXTREMELY OBVIOUS to everyone watching that it was meant to be romantic.

"but aren't they brothers" why don't you stop and think for a second if you even believe that. if you really think that it's being used as a nuclear family definition? or maybe it's used because these characters see each other as family in a way that means they're closer than just friends. that there is this rhythm, this understanding, this closeness. cut from the same cloth, perfectly in sync. it's not literal brothers. adopted siblings still comes with the INTENTION of being literal brothers.

"you were my brother. im so sorry" you were part of me, but i didn't have the words beyond this.

think about why male characters might struggle to find the words, and may default to comradery, using terms like brother rather than husband or boyfriend.

THINK. USE YOUR HEAD. STOP MAKING YOUR LACK OF ABILITY TO IMAGINE BEYOND THE MOST RIGID OF DEFINITIONS OUR PROBLEM.

what if sanemi just spiraled after the war and his mental health went down the drain for like a year and the following years were the others trying to work him back up to being happy so only the last year of his life he was actually in a good place? like sanemi just crawling out of bed, though he’s only ever been in and out of consciousness recently, and he tries to go to genya’s grave only to realize genya wouldn’t have a grave. and then he just lays there in the hallway, staring blankly at the wall until one of the butterfly girls find him and has to call tengen to carry him back in bed. it’s just sanemi battling his internal critic until he kinda… gives up. and then his physical health is deteriorating too. and then it’s all blank for a long time. until giyuu and tengen and aoi and — and everyone’s worrying about sanemi and they’re trying to help him, to make him feel better. and then nezuko and her smiles and her — and genya. and she’s like genya, and sanemi won’t let go of her. and even though he has half the blood he should. and even though he hasn’t gotten up in months. and even though he can barely keep his eyes open, he’s holding onto her. so that nezuko takes a huge part in caring for him. and she puts her hair up while wrestling food into his mouth and all sanemi can think of is his mother now. and then genya. and he doesn’t — he can’t — and he starts to try. and live. and make himself something. so he can protect nezuko. because she and tanjiro and zenitsu and all of the children deserved way better than his own family got. and he has to get better. and then he does. for them. for his family. for what they deserved to have had. to what they deserved to have.

Tommy takes a faltering step forward, knees buckling and sending him back toward the hard earth. But before he can reach it, strong hands grab him. Briefly, he panics as Evan’s weight begins to slide off his shoulders and he tightens his grip, a frantic noise rising in the back of his throat.

“Tommy, Tommy— I’ve got him! You’ve gotta let him go— I’ve got Buck.” That’s Howie’s voice in his ear. He tries to listen to him, forces his stiff fingers to uncurl from their death grip on Evan.

It feels wrong to let go, panic fluttering in his chest even as relief continues to surge through him. Evan is going to be okay. Help is here, Evan is going to be okay!

I'm staring at the newest chapter in horror but also, there are SO many witnesses and there will probably be a ton of documentation about the second dimensional incident, which makes it that much more baffling Bill got an insanity plea. I know it's for Story Reasons and I probably shouldn't think about it too hard but goddamn.

They legitimately looked at all of this and said "yeah no he's found not guilty by reason of insanity, Theraprism NOW." (I thought at first it was "guilty but insane," however we get no indication that he's going to be sent to a normal multiversal prison after he completes his karmic rehabilitation. They all but say that reincarnation is the goal after this is over, which seems to be equivalent to release and reintegration into society.)

That being said it could simply be that interdimensional court has different requirements to be declared insane enough not to get permadeath. Or I'm misremembering how the Theraprism works...It's a forensic hospital, right? Not prison. He's being treated not punished.(Kinda debatable. That place sucks.)

The Axolotl gotta be the single best lawyer of the entire multiverse how the hell did they pull this off. I would love to just be in the court when this went down actually I can already feel how absolutely insane it was. No way either side didn't fight tooth and nail.

the fact that Bill is willing to look every single person he meets dead in the eye and say "no my dimension wasn't destroyed, it's fine, all my people are alive and they love me" is ngl gonna be a big part of the ax's defense strategy.

They have a lot of documentation of what Bill's like after the massacre—but there's absolutely no record, anywhere, of what happened during the massacre. You know what they do have documentation of though? Bill insisting that he dumped Euclydia into Dimension Zero so that he could do renovations and that he's built a paradise universe in its place when all he's built is a void with a few strobe lights. Bill claiming that all these people he kidnapped himself are actually from his dimension. Bill pulling off "rescues" with seemingly no self-awareness that he slaughtered more than he saved. Bill being told MULTIPLE TIMES "if you keep trying to fix Dimension Zero then the multiverse will collapse" and Bill going "okay. i hear you. So how about i fix Dimension Zero, and then, everything is fine."

What do you do if you get Bill into a courtroom and ask him "do you plea guilty to the massacre of Euclydia?" and he goes "I don't know what you're talking about. There was no massacre. I liberated everyone, they're fine. They're literally still alive today. Nobody died." Like. You're trying to decide his culpability in a crime he doesn't acknowledge happened.

You've gotta ask 2 questions: does Bill literally not know what happened to his dimension—even if the knowledge comes and goes, is it still sometimes genuinely missing—or is this just an act to try to wiggle out of trouble? And, if he does literally not know what happened to it, is that a trauma reaction to the massacre, or did he commit the crime not comprehending what the result would be?

Bill's a known liar, this could all be an act. But, like, god, wow, it's a really, really good act.

The Ax can argue that Bill literally doesn't grasp the difference between right and wrong. He can tell them that Bill is completely unable to differentiate fact and fiction. He can tell them that Bill has delusions that he didn't destroy Euclydia, that the neighboring dimensions are Euclydia, that all his people are alive and healthy, and argue that he probably had delusions that whatever he did to his dimension wouldn't destroy it in the first place. He can argue a whole lot of things about Bill.

Are any of these things true about Bill? Debatable. Probably not. Somewhere between 30%-60% true. Could the Ax convince a court that they're true? Probably. Everyone already agrees Bill's insane. The only question is if he was the right kind of insane at the right time.

Mhin probably is more comfortable with Kuras because they are self isolating themselves due to their monster from possibly taking out those they loved before, and Kuras (other than being kind to them) doesn't ask follow up questions and is more of an observer so there's a natural boundary that they don't have to stress over. They probably dropped Leander even though they liked him because he crossed that boundary....

Vere probably knows what's wrong with the world and is going to tell MC if they help break him out, but Kuras is probably going to stop this from happening in an attempt to chase after/"save" MC and because he's the one who maybe sorta kinda put Vere in the hands of the Senobium in the first place.

Kuras is going to have to watch his fall over and over again as punishment, and this time it's Leander. He's going to have to watch Leander's downfall unable to stop it and knowing he's possibly the cause of his darker ambitions... Kuras has already failed redemption this go around, and Eridia is probably going to fall.

In @puppetmaster13u (and possibly @phoenixcatch7 ?) Meat Marionette au, I have an idea that Batman and Gordons relationship would be one of the few kept relatively similar. Gordon is called the Bat Whisperer, Batman usually only talks to him, he was the one to turn the GCPD to Batmans side, Gordon is slowly figuring Batmans language out (both literally and not, he knows his name is whistle warble whistle and he’s figuring out more, but he also has the best grasp on Bruces mind and decision making for anyone not in the Batfam), and Batman is a mix of loyal guard dog and stray cat who steals your food to Gordon.
