D2 (Hora Chart) : Your Potential to Create Wealth
This post will provide general info on the D2. THIS METHOD IS NOT CREATED BY ME. I have spent awhile researching and thought some may like to know this information as well. Astro Losik and KRS are helpful youtube channels.
I have tested this info out on people I know in real life. I find it crazy accurate.
For full accuracy, this would have to be read alongside natal & d9.
If finding out you have many negatives would cause you stress, please do not read. Measure your success by your own efforts.
Step One:
Generate a D2 chart. If you choose astroseek, make sure to put it in whole sign. Make sure Uranus, Pluto and any asteroids do not appear.
When you see your chart, you will notice that the ASC is either in Cancer or Leo. If you have ASC in any other sign, you have incorrectly generated the chart.
Step Two:
Below, I have listed the positives and negatives. You can tally whether you have more positives or negatives.
Many positives = Great amount of wealth.
Many negatives = You may go through periods where you struggle with money. Try to avoid debt. Try to become more disciplined in saving.
Equal (or almost equal) amount of positives & negatives = Moderate amount of wealth. Ups & Downs. Nothing too extreme.
💲 If you have Mars, Jupiter & Sun in Leo. This is a positive.
💲 If you have Venus & Moon in Cancer. This is a positive.
💲 5 or more planets ( rahu & ketu are not planets) in Cancer is a positive.
💲 5 or more planets rahu & ketu are not planets) in Leo is a negative.
💲 If your natal vedic chart (D1) 2nd House ruler is in 1st or 2nd of the hora (D2) chart, this is a positive.
💲 If your natal vedic chart (D1) 2nd House ruler is in 12th of the hora (D2) chart, this is a negative.
💲 If the 2nd House ruler of the hora (D2) is in 2nd or 11th, this is a positive.
💲 If the 2nd House ruler of the hora (D2) is in 1st or 12th this is a negative.
💲 All or most of your planets in 2nd or 1st is a positive.
💲 All or most of your planets in 12th is a negative.
I have noticed that if you do not have any planets in 12th, you are more likely to overcome any negative. Financial setbacks may occur in life likely because these people often have a lesson in regard to money (saving, budgeting, etc). Once it is learned, they become successful.
PLEASE READ:
Do not be discouraged by having negatives. This can indicate you struggle with savings and asserting yourself. And I have noticed, those with many negatives, simply have a lack of interest in creating wealth. They aren’t wealthy but they have a roof over them, food to eat and enough to spend on hobbies and desires (video games, clothes, a vacation, etc.) They're happy and live good lives.
For example, my cousin with many 12th House placements in D2, was once homeless (living in his car). He had moved to a city that he couldn't afford with his spending habits. However, for a long time he did not want to leave the city. So yes, he struggled but according to him, it was an enjoyable experience. He's the kinda guy who would enjoy living in his van and travelling. But it is true he struggles with money & often is asking his parents for help.
However, even if you have many 12th H placements. You are not destined to be broke at all.
Those who have many positives I have noted are always either: born into wealth OR are very driven. They do care for creating/having wealth. They often think about ways to branch out and invest to make more. It’s a rewarding experience for them to work for their wealth. ngl they just thrive in capitalism.
Some of the people I know with many positives only had a moderate amount of wealth themselves. It wasn't until marriage, joining wealth, they became very wealthy. For example, my aunt who worked a regular office job until meeting her husband. They opened up a business together that has become very successful. You may not find that wealth until much later in life.

BTS Personality Reading
Tumblr media
Let's look into the members strongest personality traits they are showcasing at the moment. this is only an aspect of their personality. We are ever evolving and complex creatures, so this doesn't describe them fully. Just bringing some insight to them.
Jin (Hedonist/Knight of Cups rv) -He seems to enjoy the finer things in life. He likes to indulge in good food or fine dining. He tries to find the joy in life. He may also indulge in food to make himself feel better. He is someone who tries to see the positive out of life and tries to focus on the good. Now with the Knight of Cups reversed, he seems a bit disconnected from his emotions. He doesn't really like showing his vulnerable and softer side. I see him being a bit closed off emotionally. I don't see him as being much of a romantic. He is also may be a bit closed off from his intuition as well.
Suga (Destroyer/The Fool) Okay, these two cards kind of tell a story. He is the type that could create chaos to start new beginnings. I am not sure what that means, but that came to me. He is the type that is willing to end things and move past destructive traits. He likes to wipe the slate clean. These cards also indicate to me that he can step into some sh** or crappy situations at times. He can be a bit careless with his actions. He may also have a bit of a temper as well.
RM (Slave/10 of Pentacles) I say he endures a lot to get to the final outcome that he wants. He is tough and resilient. He may have a sense of trusting the universe and letting things fall into place. He is all about investing in the future and building his fortune. There is a sense of family pride, like wanting to make his family proud, to continue the lineage. He likes to appear that he has it all, that is interesting message, that just came to me. He is also willing to make sacrifices to achieve what he wants. He has lots of goals and wants to make lots of money along the way.
Jhope (Exorcist/The Lovers) I don't know, but the first thought when I see this card is he is the type to cut off toxic lovers. He isn't here for that. He is the type to remove himself from toxic situations and people. He likes to keep positive energy around him. I say connections are very important to him. With that Lovers card, he may believe in soul mates. He is also the type to make choices he is passionate about. It seems he goes with his heart. Intimacy is also very important to him as well. I don't see him as the type to make bad choices. He seems to know the right direction and path to take for himself.
V (Engineer/The Moon) He is pretty strategic with his approach to things, sometimes he can be devoid of emotions. He can be pretty matter of fact. He seems to be a good problem solver and has lots of practical solutions to problems. I see him being a very reflective person, especially at night. I wonder if he sits and looks at the moon at night. It is like a time to gather his thoughts. He is a very emotional person, but it does seem like he tries to repress it, but I don't know, it may show up more at night. I feel like with the quietness of the night. He is able to work through his problems and figure things out.
Jimin (Dilettante/Knight of Swords) He is a lover of the arts. He seems to enjoy having hobbies and learning new skills. He might at times be a bit overconfident in his ability to master something, but he is determined to learn new things. He is a communicator. He has lots of ideas, bouncing from one to the next. He is fast on his feet. He keeps his eye on the prize. I just feel he can get heavily fixated on learning something. He might struggle with having fun with it and may take it too seriously. Although, very determined to learn. He may want to learn to let loose, he doesn't have to master everything. This Knight of Swords energy wants to know everything, but sometimes it is better to not have all the knowledge and go in blind sometimes.
Jungkook (Priest/6 of Swords) I am quite surprised by this Priest card for him, not going to lie. This indicates someone religious or spiritual. Someone who can connect with spirit and channel through them. He might be doing some spiritual work. He may be listening to religious/spiritual advisors right now. He may be getting some guidance. Maybe this difficult time has connected him to his spiritual side. He may be trying to find peace within himself. He is someone trying to move past the mental baggage he has. He may hide his emotions behind intellect or repress it a bit. He may be a bit more intellectual.
I am not sure how great this was, because I kind of struggles to word this with their energies. This took me longer, than most groups. I had difficulty pinpointing their personality traits, not sure it is because their energies are distracted, which makes sense. Jin and Suga weren't that hard, but the others man, it was a struggle. Anyway, hope you got something from this.

My posts
MY ABELIAS HAVE POWDERY MILDEW. We have now acquired a fungicide and sprayed down everything in a six-foot radius of Patient Zero, a crape myrtle that had “mysteriously” not grown much foliage back this year. Thrilling, I know.
If you want to know what post-exertion malaise is, it’s me cleaning for an hour and then being laid out for three days. Coincidentally, I had someone else’s post about chronic fatigue and taking constant breaks in my queue. To round it off, here’s an old post of mine about giving yourself and your fatigue the same grace you’d give other people’s.
Side note, I have realized that mobile now cuts off my profile bio to

How to balance all your interests when you have multiple passions?
Tumblr media
I’ve been pondering how to balance all my different passions, interests, and side hustles, as I’m the kind of person who tends to love variety and easily gets excited about new projects. It’s often the completion part that I struggle with! This is a fairly common conundrum for certain personality types, and can also be related to conditions like ADHD. It can be really hard to know how to streamline and simplify things to make it more manageable and less chaotic.
Chronic illness can be a factor here too, as I often start a new project in a high energy period, but then may not have the physical energy to easily complete it. It can be hard to know how to handle this sometimes, as I can’t predict how I’ll feel from day to day or week to week. Sometimes I just have to let something go for a while, and accept that I will come back to it later. I also accept that there’s some projects I will abandon, and I don’t see it as a major problem as long as there’s no financial investment.
So how do you handle this tendency?
I personally find it’s best to embrace it, and find ways to work around it rather than trying to pigeonhole myself into only one project, passion or interest at a time. However, if you’re trying to make money, earn an income or build a business - and you need to pay the bills with it to survive - then you will probably need to narrow down to one thing at a time for work. You can still allow yourself freedom to explore in your free time, though.
For example, I love borrowing a wide range of books from the library, and reading about a bunch of different topics at once. Switching from one book to another works for me and I find it stimulating. The great thing is that the books all get returned to the library, so they don't create long-term clutter. I also enjoy writing blog posts about a range of different topics, rather than sticking to one particular subject.
Same goes for my art - I have one style that I sell commercially, and then do whatever I want in the rest of my spare time as it captures my fancy. I find creating different IG/Tumblr accounts for particular art styles/niches works well. If it becomes popular and sells it's a cool bonus, but I don't worry too much about it making money. Digital art is great because it doesn't take up storage space, so I'm shifting from doing large pieces on canvas to doing more digital art.
Having said all that, I do have a bunch of blogs and Tumblr accounts floating around on the internet that I've forgotten about and largely abandoned. Same with old creative projects in storage. But it's okay, because I enjoyed exploring that idea/hobby/style for a brief period of time. Sometimes I go back and integrate creative stuff from the past into my current projects (for example, taking an old blog post and updating it for my current blog).
It can become a problem if you waste a lot of money on hobbies you forget about or business ideas that never get off the ground, so I’d recommend finding ways to avoid spending too much money to begin with. Ideally, it’s best to spend no money and find free activities, but obviously this is not always possible. My post about Decluttering My Fantasy Self may be relevant if this is you.
If you're multipassionate, I don't think there's one right or wrong way to manage your interests and hobbies. Some people like to focus intensely on one hobby at a time, then move on to something else. Others enjoy moving between different interests simultaneously to keep them stimulated. I've done both at different times in my life. Emilie Wapnick has a great book about this called How to Be Everything which is more focused on career, but you can apply the same principles to hobbies and side hustles as well.

Damn now other people are starting to send asks...I need to up my annoyingness ante more /joke /lh Kazui and Amane will be the last two I ask about since you already did posts on them, and Es and Jackalope will be the next one, so as I see it the next one on the list isss...Yuno! She's currently fighting in my mind to turn my favorite quintet into a senary because one of my friends really likes her and it kinda got me to analyze her more, so I'm interested to see what you think !
Yeah I don’t why why everyone suddenly started sending asks I wonder who gave them that idea Õ_o /j /lh
CW: Abortion, sex work, suicide.
Uh… so you know when I said Shidou was the character I thought about the least? I… may have deadass forgotten Yuno existed when I said that ngl. I’m sure I’ll go insane over her when I get to analyzing her videos more in depth, but for now she’s kinda flown right under my radar. I’m sorry, I just weirdly can’t find it in me to care much about her. Obviously it's perfectly fine for others to enjoy her, and I don't think there's any major issues in her writing, it's just I can't get too invested.
I mean, it’s sorta similar to the Mahiru situation for me. It’s implied by the fact she really doesn’t seem to care about money that she was engaging in compensated dating just for fun, which… I just can’t relate to, I don’t like sex or dating. But sure, stay safe and slay or whatever.
(T1) Q20: The most expensive thing you've ever bought?
Y: What did I buy? I think a stuffed animal.
(T2) Q7: What would you do if you receive One Million Yen and you must spend right now?
Y: I'd have a nice meal with my family, then give them to my friends.
Now, I actually could sorta relate to her whole deal about always seeking “warmth” because she always gets bored of things easily (I think that’s what’s going on anyways).
(T1) Q24: Do you have a future dream?
Y: I wish I can find something I can really get absorbed into.
Me before DRDT and Milgram.
However, I just feel like it’s not explored in a very interesting way? She's not exactly Veronika Grebenshchikova you feel. Maybe I’m missing something, but “bored girl finds a hobby” is not the most compelling storyline in Milgram. Am I supposed to be scandalized by her compensated dating? Cause I’m not. I’m not gonna tell her how to live her life.
You could argue there's maybe safer and possibly better things for her to get into, but any actual discourse which could exist around that part of her story comes from the subject matter more than Yuno, if that makes sense. And I'm just personally not very informed in the whole subject of compensated dating, plus I find it a bit uncomfortable to research too much for personal reasons, so I feel like I can't fully immerse myself in it.
Which gets us to her “murder”, and I’m gonna be honest, I feel there’s some kinda culture shock thing going here. Because a big part (read: the main damn point) of her second VD is that it’s stupid we try to justify her actions for her, that we pity her without knowing the full story, that she doesn’t want to hear our excuses for being forgiven, etc…
Tear Drop: Feeling magnanimous? INNOCENT? I'm so not that
(2nd VD) Y: Even if I was scorned by you, I would have been okay with being told I'm not forgiven. I don't believe I'm not in the wrong. I'd accept it.
So she doesn’t think she’s innocent necessarily. She speaks vague on purpose, but that’s what’s she’s getting at. She thinks if we vote her innocent it must be because we’re looking down at her or assuming things about her life which aren’t true, it’s the main point of Tear Drop.
But… We don’t need excuses, Yuno. You did nothing wrong.
I usually say that as a joke, but here it’s just true. And any kind of moral ambiguity which may have existed is completely thrown out the window by the fact we’re comparing it to actual first degree murder. Girl we forgave the fucking organ harvester three numbers away from you why do you think we need excuses to forgive you? Innoing her is the easiest decision in all of Milgram imo.
Like I said, possibly a cultural issue? It’s not like I live in a particularly progressive country, but in the online circles I run in its very much accepted abortion isn’t murder. Yet, that’s not what she believes.
(2nd VD) Y: I have no intent to say abortion isn't murder. I'm a respectable murderer.
Or… does she?
(2nd VD) Y: To the extent of understanding the feeling of actually taking a life... I couldn't feel that that was a life. A discomfort and…the sensation of a foreign body….
Girlboss make up your mind.
The point is that she even regrets what she did, and wishes she could have prevented it.
(T2) Q10: If you could turn back time, would you commit the same murder once again?
Y: I'd make sure that I won't have to commit it. That's it.
In any case, I hope I'm making some amount of sense, and I can get across why I struggle to really get invested in analysis of her. Sorry.
Of course, voting isn't the only aspect of Milgram, but I also just don't find her personality and character arc all that interesting. Personal opinion, I don't think it's badly written or anything, but I just find it significantly less interesting than other characters.
That said, the most interesting thing to me is that she might be dead?
Y: Oh! Also, that reminds me, there was one thing I'm curious about. Es: What? Go ahead and say it. Yuno: Am I…really alive? Es: That's…what do you…. Yuno: Hm…if you don't know, then it's fine. Es: Yuno…. Yuno: Hey, it's time, right? Es: Y-yes. Prisoner number 2, Yuno. Sing your sins.
That's peculiar. Given the Haruka suicide theory I brought up in my post about him, it's definitely a possibility she's dead. It's possible she went through an unsafe abortion, given this question:
(T2) Q20: Did you hate the person you killed?
Y: It was too much of a pain to for me to think about anything.
So there's potential death one. Potential death two is her Undercover silhouette shot.
Tumblr media
Given I have no idea what the deal with this scene is, it's possible she jumped from here? I guess she does fall from stairs at the end of Umbilical, although she lands upright, though maybe that's her landing in Milgram? The issue with this suicide idea is this answer:
(T2) Q17: How many years do you want to live?
Y: About 40 years would be just right, I think.
... Okay, well, that's a concerning answer, kinda wish we got a bit more insight into what the deal is with that, but the point is she's currently not forty, so.
Anyways, that aside, I don't know what else to say. Yuno really hasn't rotted my brain as much as the other prisoners, so, uh, sorry I can't go any deeper atm. I feel kinda bad I can't say anything more positive since you clearly like her (_ _). Hope it's alright! Take care!

I was thinking about it and maybe I should start posting videos about me just rambling or venting. I can talk about whatever I want, even the most trivial topics, or do whatever I want. If I am, it will probably be around sometime March, maybe later.
Should I invest in a mic? My laptop mic sucks and I know that for a fact. The camera seems decent, but maybe my phone might be better. Then again, I dislike using my phone as a camera because it will start falling. Plus I will not like the angle since I do not have anything to make it stand at a good height. Do I even need to show my face?
That is a good question. Should I show my face? I do not want to because I want to remain anonymous. If my identity gets leaked somehow, I am ghosting everybody, including my family. The ghosting part will already happen by the time I enlist into the army, but if I happen to get leaked, I will probably drop out, enlist, and ghost everybody immediately. Hopefully I am able to get a GED during my service.
I can probably just do torso cam, but that would be hella weird. I do not know. I definitely would like to start speaking my thoughts but without showing my face. If I do these types of videos, I want it raw. No cuts, no edits, just publishing the video exactly how it was recorded. I will still be on Tumblr because there are days where I do not feel like talking at all.
I have been getting into bullet hell type games recently so I might start uploading some gameplay of that too. I am really new and barely play so I will be terrible haha. The first and only Touhou game I played for a little bit was a fan game on Steam because apparently the originals you would need to have so much preparations. I am not about to do all that unless I become a complete slave to it. Anyways, that fan game had a decent soundtrack and looked like a Touhou game. I feel like a big part of Touhou are their music. I listen to some of it even though I have not played the original games. That is how iconic it is.
I recently made a YouTube account to publish the snippet there as well. I am wondering if I should publish my music and blogs/gameplay in the same channel. I just might because I am lazy.
Ren Ashikaga - YouTube
^^^ Click on that if you want to check out my channel.
I want to get into the specifics on what I want to do with my YouTube channel. I want to showcase some hobbies, my notebooks, vent/rant/ramble, act philosophical, choreographies, Touhou gameplay, music, how my day or week went, cool items, and occasional mukbangs. Documenting my life before I either ghost everybody or end up dead would be interesting.
To the few people who somehow went through all my blogs: what are you doing? Thank you though. You got a glimpse of someone else's life from that very person. That is something exceedingly rare. I do not think you will find many online who will consistently blog with detail, but who knows? I hope you learn something from myself. I hope that lesson is to not become like me. I am okay and used to being alone.
Permanently being inside my room is something I have come into terms with. I have not gone to school this entire month of January so far. It is not a good thing though, but I acknowledge the entirety of my situation. Go explore the world outside. I promise you, if you are alone for so long, you do nothing but think.
Many people who live the "chronically online lifestyle" make no money and have to rely on their parents. Not saying that I aspire to be that, matter fact, I am working towards making money online to support my lifestyle. In that realm, you are, statistically, going to be reliant on someone else. When that happens, you will lose all sense of logical reasoning and will end up like the channers and redditors. You will have problems differing from right and wrong.
All the chronically online channers and redditors are fucking losers. They are gross, icky, yucky. They all try to sound smart and they may be educated/smart in certain fields of their interest, but they are far from likable people. They generally do not have proper hygiene, consume energy drinks 24/7, and they live off of someone else's support even though they are 30.
Yesterday, I have seen a few threads of these people openly admitting to being a pedophile, bashing on any positive people they see, and ranting about how their parents do not give them enough support. They even start targeting minors on social media. Makes my blood boil.
Anyways, I just wanted to talk about my plans for social media in the future.
I just Googled the requirements to enlist just now. It says I need to be a high school graduate. I will probably need to homeschool because there is no way I can make up enough credits to be able to graduate. Hopefully it is not too late for homeschooling.
I have rambled on too long. I hope all is well and stay pessimistic. Bye.

Finally Sabbath, the day of ease, rest and joy with family and God. One more wish I have for you to be present in this day close to me. My heart was always bearing gentle feelings toward you, and after the day you moved my heart by love, I remember my eager never ever hurt you, cherish you and protect you like the only precious flower, as if on entire earth you are the only one who can bloom and charm by beauty. But this appeared bigger challenge that I was ready to handle. Today I ask myself again, how to love that much, cherish my beloved to never ever hurt, as the teacher says “Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered”. Today I ask myself, ‘does my careless actions destroyed your gentle wish for a family?’ This spark of love I was cherishing from my heart to your precious heart.
Last words I heard form you about family life made me upset. You mentioned many things of life you can enjoy alone, but I want you to consider once again, are those only what family can bring into our lives? Let me mark out few why I wish for a family with you. Just few, because it will be difficult to contain all the universe in one moment.
Family shifts our efforts from self to beloved, this is good way to start learning living for the sake of others. Love in family makes miracles with hearts of all members, providing energy, inspiration, kindness, happiness, gentleness, joy and wisdom. I never was able to achieve these alone, but touches to heart of beloved make miracles to impart me with these beautiful qualities. Isn’t this similar for you?
Then kids become reflection of our love, imprint of our hearts in following generation. If to linger on and waste precious time, don’t you ever thought what you will be able to give for your kids? I don’t think you want be a memory of old slow and boring grandma who treat kids with only sweets, because she has no health, energy and strength to play with kids, run, jump, swim, hike and even ride a bike. Many beautiful moments together will be forever lost with time. But I wish our kids will remember us not like “money bugs” with sweets and rules. One of the biggest reason to hesitate with family, is our love we can imprint in our kids, which they will carry through out all life remembering us with respect and gratitude. Also more likely kids will replicate behaviors of parents in their own family, which is very big responsibility to be good image for following up. I wish to create this connection not only with beloved wife but also invest all our love in kids together. If we will be old and weak, I don’t think we will be able to give as much as right now. After all, living alone and investing in solitude and entertainment, job and hobbies, sooner or later time will come when you will be left alone, no need to anybody. How much better when there are those who appreciate you and support even when we are no more young and beautiful. Do we really need a typhoon to happen to remind us that we all just a people and bad things can happen? Chemistry and passion is sweet, but won’t last as much as connections we create with family. Have you considered this too?
Because I see you the only one so close to my heart, that regardless all challenges on our way, I keep fighting and longing to you with all my heart. Beloved Seungyeon, my beautiful flower, with whom I wish to create such connections like family and love. Who else is so mindful, caring, neat, organized, hard working, cute and interesting, have similar to me indoor and outdoor likenesses, so creative and artistic, hungry for knowledge and understanding, health life and love, the one who can burn my heart to ashes making me crave your kiss, and still yet remain my gentle angel I cherish so much.
It’s merely a few words from universe I discover in you. Do you really want to linger on as if family isn’t that much important at all? I wish you merely upset that we couldn’t meet each other so the same as I did, looking for excuses to justify that it’s okay if we drift apart and stay alone. But all I want is you, my beloved flower Seungyeon. All my love is for you and all dreams for you to be my family too.

Option: ---Happy birthday.
Azul: Why why, thank you.
Screen: How is the party?
Azul: I’m fortunate to say it’s quite enjoyable. The liveliness of it reminds me of birthday parties from my home.
Screen: Would you normally have this many gathered for parties at home?
Tumblr media
Azul: Yes. My family operates a high-class restaurant.
Azul: In year’s past, on my birthday, we’d close the store and celebrate with my family and all the members of the staff.
Azul: Lavish decorations and music… Best of all, with the biggest table of the restaurant lined filled with all of my favorite dishes.
Azul: “Eat that. Eat this”…
Azul: Pondering on it now, I should have said it was too much…
Azul: But to a simple-minded child at the time, I was more than pleased.
Screen: What kind of people is your family? Please tell me a bit about them.
Tumblr media
Azul: My mother is the one who operates the restaurant. In the beginning, she ran it herself and it started small…
Azul: When I could understand more about my surroundings, the restaurant had already grown to employ a large staff of professionals and became the most famous restaurant in the Coral Sea.
Azul: Not only in cooking, but she had talent in management as well.
Azul: She has keen interest in the Monstro Lounge as well. Amazing to see me take after my parent, don’t you think?
Azul: Next would be my step-father… He’s from my mother’s second marriage, therefore there’s no blood relationship.
Azul: He was a lawyer, and they met when my mother was filing for divorce.
Azul: You never quite sure what the world will bring, you could say.
Azul: Usually he’s a kind, sincere individual but… when it comes to work, he’s shrewd.
Tumblr media
Azul: Often, he told me about laws and how to compose contracts. We all get along quite well, and I hold much respect for him.
Azul: Lastly, there is my grandmother. All members of my family are magicians, but her magic is especially superior.
Azul: She’d use her magic to help those in the vicinity with any wavering issues.
Azul: Yes… She’s a benevolent person, just like myself.
Tumblr media
Azul: We may all have different personalities in my family, but we each have our own powerful abilities… We’re certainly a prideful family.
To be continued…
 Part 2:
Tumblr media
Screen: Please expand on your fixations with Monstro Lounge.
Azul: Hm, if I had to mention one thing, it’d be the tableware.
Azul: It’s not just the flavor of the cuisine, but the presentation that is imperative.
Azul: No matter delectable the food, there’s a loss of appeal when on a poor dish.
Azul: As such, at Monstro Lounge we use only the highest quality brand tableware.
Azul: Thinking back on it, when preparing to open the shop, every day was troublesome.
Azul: Gathering information from famous restaurants, visiting different tableware making vendors…
Azul: Carefully looking over the sample pieces…
Azul: Well, it was a grueling experience, but we were able to gather wonderful tableware pieces.
Screen: That sort of fixation… I never realized.
Tumblr media
Azul: Hehe… That’s reasonable. If you new the prices associated, you wouldn’t be holding my teacup so freely.
Azul: There’s no need to know the costs of the tableware.
Azul: The design of the lounge is to give off entirely an air of luxury.
Azul: Though… After the pain of getting the tableware, Floyd will occasionally poorly handle a dish and shatter it.
Azul: I warn him time and time again… Good grief, what a problematic person.
Screen: It seems to be troublesome.
Azul: Well, I do have my breaks.
Screen: Breaks… How so?
Tumblr media
Azul: I read in my room.
Azul: To relax, I dim down the lights, and read autobiographies from business individuals I’ve borrowed from the library.
Azul: As well, my room is filled with my collectables and decorated to my liking...
Azul: When I look around my room, it calms my nerves and makes for a relieving experience.
To be continued…
Part 3:
Screen: What are your hobbies?
Tumblr media
Azul: Coin collecting. It’s been my hobby since I was young.
Screen: Please share how it started.
Azul: How it started… Ahh, I remember now. When I was a child, I picked up some coins from a nearby sunken ship.
Azul: At first, I thought it was nothing unusual; that it was just money from land but…
Azul: As I looked into it, I found out they were of 100 published commemorative coins from a monarchy.
Azul: The coin’s face value was 100 madol.
Azul: But to collectors, one coin could pull in 500,000 madol!
Azul: When I came to know of the coin’s rarity, I started collecting them.
Tumblr media
Azul: The coins' history and how they are minted, they're worth more than the value stamped on them... Don't you think that's enthralling?
Screen: It is enthralling. How many coins do you have now?
Azul: About 200. For particular coins I like, I display them in cases.
Azul: Incidentally, the value of the coins is influenced by the market and highly sought after. It’s a great hobby if you want to invest in building assets.
Screen: Do you have any other hobbies?
Azul: Hmm… Another thing would be board games.
Azul: Shortly after the entrance ceremony, I toured around the clubs and found my way to the board game club.
Azul: There I found Idia-san…’s younger brother Ortho there.
Azul: There I introduced myself like a businessman.
Tumblr media
Azul: “This can help build my business power!” is what I thought to myself at the time, and I joined the club.
Azul: The club is mostly just playing games but…
Azul: When push comes to shove, I built up my courage considerably for matches.
Azul: More than anything, outwitting your opponent in intellect is very gratifying. Hehehe…
Screen: You have a wide range of interests.
Tumblr media
Azul: You’ll never know what leads to a business opportunity.
Azul: It’s better to experience all kinds of things.
Screen: Thank you for talking to us about so much.
Screen: Again, happy birthday.

STAYING ALIVE MASTERPOST, FROM A BROKE TEEN WITH ADHD
here you go. some down to earth tips on how to not die metally nor physically.
tired of those "drink three liters of water everyday uwu" and "wake up at 5 am" and "buy a bath bomb and a fec mask and some other things you don't have the money for" shit? i'm here for ya.
1. NOT DYING
eat at least three meals a day, one of which m u s t be warm and above 300 kcal (it can be istant ramen with an egg added if you have to)
you technically should shower everyday, but we know how it is. A change of clothes is sometimes enough.
DRY SHAMPOO AND BABY WIPES!!!
keep bottles with water everywhere. On your desk, near that spot on the floor you always end up sitting on, near your bed, basically whenever you know you spend a lot of time. No need to get up and go to the kitchen will help. Obviously change the water in the bottles as often as you can.
Get some form of physical activity. It doesn't have to be much, you can for example replace scrolling on tiktok by walking around your room and scrolling on tiktok! Brilliant, isn't it? Obviously, running or doing those 10 minutes workouts from youtube is better, but you are still getting like an hour of walking.
Buy blankets. Steal blankets. Summon blankets from other dimensions. Just make sure you have a lot of warm, soft blankets in your house. You will thank me when you won't have the anergy to wash your sheets (just take them off and throw some blankets on your bed), or when the power goes out.
If you have pets, ALWAYS keep spare food that'll last for a week for them.
things to always have in the kitchen: milk, eggs, flour, rice, pasta, yeast, cheese, oil, a leafy vegetable, onions, tomatoes, apples, patatoes, some flavourful sauce, sugar, salt, spices and an emergency chocolate bar. You can make a lot of food with those. Just make sure you won't eat the chocolate too fast.
Have a lot of spare batteries. A lot.
Get urself a flashlight, a lighter, and a pocket knife.
Remember the apples? eat one a day. if you don't like apples or you can't eat them for any other reason, you can take a kiwi, banana, orange, basically something that will give you vitamins and non processed sugar.
do the dishes before your sink starts developing it's own ecosystem
drugs from that one guy around the corner = very bad time
2. NOT DYING INSIDE
Open the damn window.
Don't watch so many commentary videos. You are probably not even checking the sources, so you can easily make unjust judgement, and like. did you even hear of half of those people before?
make a discord server just for yourself. get into the habit of writing little things that happened to you there. rant about the fanfics you read. or the movies. vent there if you don't have anyone you can vent to. write your ideas there, write e v e r y t h i n g. make a section for passwords, for quick ideas, for your to do lists. you won't lose it as you do with sticky notes or notebooks. there is no risk anyone will see it. oh, and when you'll have a strong impulse to tell emily that you hate her? write that message in your private server and list all ur arguments. look at tat the next day and decide if you really mean that.
life sucks. come to peace with it.
cuddle ur pets if you have them
1 hour a day without a lot of sensory input. if you have to, reduce to half an hour.
if you find yourself scrolling endlessly through social media, make sure it's pintrest (just don't compare urself to the people here; if you have issues with that, tumblr may be better)
delete. twitter. from. your. phone.
influencers are lying to you; maybe not even intentionally. remember when you were watching that cute-aesthetic-productive morning routine, and you were wondering why your life isn't that pretty? why your room is a mess? why you cannot for the life of god be aesthetic 24/7? its the filter. don't worry about it, their lifes arent that nice either.
realize there's actually nothing stopping you from screaming as loud as you can right now. like there is no physical barrier. think about it. realize there's no actual physical barierr to many other things.
your body is your body. you can decide how it looks like; just remember it's in your greatest interest to keep it healthy.
3. BEING A LITTLE BETTER THAN JUST ALIVE
If you wear make up, take it off before you go to sleep.
moisturize your body; everything is better when your skin doesn't feel dry
have a one brand of cosmetics that you love and buy things mainly from it. they often have sets of products that complete each other. i like ziaja. it's a polish brand, it's surprisingly cheap and has nice quality
cleanser, moisturizer, face mist
of you can, change your sheets once every two weeks
do the dishes before your sink starts developing it's own ecosystem
do a deep house clean once a month (don't beat yourself up when you don't tho)
keep your workspace organized (it doesn't have to look organized to other people, remember)
sunscreen
cook your own food
keep a calendar
no money for scented candles? got ya. make a simmer pot: throw some apple peel, a couple of cinnamon sticks and whatever spices that smell good you have into a pot, add some water and simmer. boom. your house smells good, and you haven't spend 20 dollars.
If you really like candles, buy scented wax melts. it's cheaper.
Buy urself scented mists. they're pretty cheap and will make you feel A LOT better.
keep your clothes clean. if you aren't sure if that shirt thats on your chair is dirty or not, throw it in the washing mashine anyway. better be sure.
if you can, make your bed right when you get up
wear clothes that make you feel good. put some effort into your outfits. really.
4. OTHER PEOPLE
be nice to essential workers.
if you have money, give tips.
remember, you do not owe anyone love; it is not something you can force. even if they saved your life. even when they helped you in your darkest time. if you don't love them, you don't.
you don't have to be in a romantic relationship to be happy.
if you want to, date! date everyone! date girls, date boys, date nonbinary people! date people completly different than you, date people from different countries, date them!!! just make sure they're kind and won't kill you. even if you don't end up in a relationship, you can learn a lot.
don't be afraid to piss off people that deserve it
smile to strangers :)
5. NOT FAILING SCHOOL
heard of dark academia? check it out
romanticize the heck out of studying
do not let your studying be just reading the same partagraph over and over again. it won't work. believe me.
seterra for geography, quizlet for everything else
try to make yourself intrestet in whatever you are studying (watch veritasium, listen to podcasts about weird history facts)
notes are for you and you only; don't worry about them looking pretty. doodle on margins, make weird metaphors, squeeze in as much info as you can.
when you're studying, listen to music without words/in a language you don't understand.
chew gum while you study
get the forest app, get attached to the trees, focus.
don't feel guilty for taking breaks
grades aren't everything, but they are important.
eat something in school
don't just use the cheapest pens. invest a couple dollars in something that will make writing enjoyable and smooth
those study with me videos? they're great
if you like to argue with the teachers, take care of your grades becouse. they may not like you afterwards.
be nice to your classmates and help them with homework. if you don't do your homework they'll help you
executive dysfunction won't let you study? been there. sometimes it's better to wake up ealier tommorow and do that homework then.
don't feel guilty for failing a test
go to the goddamn class
don't pull all nighters oh my god don't especially on weekdays
6. OTHER LIFEHACKS
don't get involved in the crime, and if you do always have a believable explanation why you were doing it
have different alarm sounds for every day of the week
set a daily limit of money that you spend
great hobbies that don't require a lot of money; urban exploration, writing, hiking and learning other languages
thrift stores
don't eat grapefruits while on meds
nail polish removers dissolve most strong glues.
if you have a cut on your skin, desinfect it. do it. please just do it.
always have pads with you. even if you don't get periods, at least one of your friends probably does
sign up in your local library. its free

Hiii, Can you a personality reading on Lee Know? Thanks 🤗
Hello anon, I'll do it with pleasure! This man is wild and I live for that 😎 Don't mess with the sassiest man alive ksksks
/!\ Friendly reminder that my readings are not to take at face value, I do not mean any harm to this idol, it’s only for entertainment purpose. /!\

Tumblr media
✾ ᵈⁱˡᵉᵗᵗᵃⁿᵗᵉ (ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ ᵃᵗᵗʳⁱᵇᵘᵗᵉ), ˡⁱᵇʳᵃ, ᵖᵃᵍᵉ ᵒᶠ ᵖᵉⁿᵗᵃᶜˡᵉˢ
⇝ Lee Know is a jack of all trades, master of none. He has several interests and has an eye for beauty. He has a unique way of perceiving beauty and he’s easily attracted by the esthetical aspect of things. It’s not in a superficial way, the external aspect is simply the first thing he notices and attracts him (I don’t know if it’s necessarily the same thing for his love life though). Once he has a new hobby, he will get really invested in it but once he grasps the concept and knows the basis, he won’t dig deeper. He is an all-rounder and wants to try out many things, that’s why he doesn’t spend too much time on one thing, he would rather try several activities for a short amount of time. He’s curious, determined and a real self-starter. He doesn’t worry too much and goes with the flow, he doesn’t really care about the monetary value. If he wants to buy something to treat others or himself, he will act upon his desire. Not to the point to be broke though. One of his love language may be gifts giving. Beyond his curious nature, he might try many things at a time because he’s unable to stand still and gets bored fast.
✾ ᵃⁿᵍᵉˡ (ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ ᵃᵗᵗʳⁱᵇᵘᵗᵉ), ᵃᵠᵘᵃʳⁱᵘˢ, 8 ᵒᶠ ʷᵃⁿᵈˢ
⇝ Our cat boy gives tough love. He would rather show his love subtly than in an “in-your-face” way. He has definitely a unique way to demonstrate his love. He’s sincere but reserved about it. He likes to surprise his loved ones in an unexpected way with small gifts and attentions. Lip service ain’t for him, he prefers showing his love rather than directly communicating his feelings. At least, if he tells you something, he really means it. Coming back to his hobbies, I think Minho has unique interests and it goes along with the fact that he has a unique perception of beauty. He finds interest in things that are uncommon for many people. He has also a humanitarian side, he likes to help and support impacting causes (the fact that he sends money to a child in Africa and shows subtly his support by wearing a safety pin for example). But once again Minho is all about subtility, he doesn’t need to shout it from the rooftops, he acts accordingly to what feels right to him. He doesn’t restrain himself and lives fully as if each day was the last. He wants to experiment many things and he lives in the present-time.
✾ ᵍᵒᵈᵈᵉˢˢ (ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ ᵃᵗᵗʳⁱᵇᵘᵗᵉ), 8ᵗʰ ʰᵒᵘˢᵉ, ᵠᵘᵉᵉⁿ ᵒᶠ ˢʷᵒʳᵈˢ ʳˣ
⇝ Lee Know needs plenty of love but won’t show it and act in a cold and withdrawn manner. Actually, he’s used to being attentive to everyone but not the other way around. So when someone takes care of him, he can be on his guard and become a bit distant. For this reason, he doesn’t wait for others to give him love, he will treat himself and do things that please him. This boy likes to go on adventures, he can’t bear standing there doing nothing. Sometimes he appears cold and insensitive because he can be cut-throat with his words. He may say words that seem harsh to others when in his opinion, he didn’t say anything wrong. He says it the way it is and doesn’t realize that he can be offensive. It might be a kind of armor he puts on to protect himself from bad intentions. He firmly thinks that whenever someone is lying, the truth will always come out in a way or another so he lets things unfold till the truth comes out, and then he acts upon it. These cards may also show that he believes only what he sees, you have to prove your sincerity with actions, not words. He’s aware that nothing is set in stone and that’s why he tries not to get too attached and takes life as it comes. He avoids at all coast problematic situations. If something brings him more worries than good, he will stop it right away. The most important thing for him is to feel good in his mind and body. His happiness is one of his priority because whether he realizes it consciously or not, he’s the most important person in his life. He definitely doesn’t wait for others’ approval, he’s stubborn and determined. Minho he’s definitely sensual (no joke) but not in a warm manner… It’s more like refreshing? I mean, the fact that he appears a bit cold and mysterious adds to his sensuality.
Tumblr media
It's hot in here don't you think? 🥵
TMI: I have more cats than Minho. Yeah I compete with him.
But cat supremacy yk 🤟🐱

Some things I wish I had known before getting sucked into the whole “dark academia” business:
I waited a very long time to start posting here because It just seemed necessary to wait a bit since DA exploded out of nowhere last year. I just couldn’t bring myself to write when I was so disgusted with the community. Now that it seems like we are out of fashion again (lol) I decided it could be worth giving this blog a try.
Also, almost everything I say here goes for pretty much any change in lifestyle, and these are just some general guidelines that I find particularly easy to follow, but do what works best for you!
1 - You DON’T have to spend all of your money to fit into this “aesthetic”.
The biggest problem with what is now called dark academia (but really, it has been a thing for such a long time) is that people put it in the same category as, for instance, VSCO girls or Indie (not that there is any problem with these aesthetics in specific, they are actually quite cute!). I know this sounds like rubbish, but DA really is a little bit more than that. The clothing/visual part of it may be important to some, but the way you choose to live your life and the hobbies you opt to engage with are crucial for everyone!
That being said, don’t spend a ridiculous amount of money on expensive linen shirts and fancy blazers. You don’t need a brand new pair of Oxfords or a 100% leather messenger bag to consider yourself DA. Start small, then make investments if you find it to be worth it. That brings us to our second point:
2 - Find your favourite aspect of the community.
I know it can be very overwhelming to adhere to any new style of living, but there are some easier ways to make a smoother transition (also, you don’t really want everyone to notice that you went from water to wine in one week, and then back to water after two more because you felt lost amidst all of those weird nerds you found on Tumblr, right?).
Begin with figuring out what part of the lifestyle you identify with the most. Is it the musical part? Classical dance? Are you into poetry? Books? History?
Once you have that done (I plan on doing posts on all of those topics and more, so stay tuned!), narrow it down until you find the very core of your interest. For example, I absolutely love literature, but what do I love about it? Is it the writing part? The reading part? Both? Do I have a favourite style? If the answer for the previous question is ‘no’, try to find one! There are so many amazing styles and eras to explore!
After determining what is/are your main interests, make sure to find time to fit them into your life. Buy more books, if possible. There are also public libraries with a great variety of literature to choose from! If you already do that, I encourage you to try getting out of your comfort zone and attempting something new. Why not experiment reading a different style of books? Or maybe getting into the more poetic part of literature?
3 - Get into it!
Have you found your main interest? Great! Now it may be time to actually get into the fashion aspect of the whole thing. Also, remember that, although it is not a requirement per say, being academically successful is something you may want to achieve, so put some effort into that as well.
I won’t get too much into the fashion rabbithole, but I may write something about it later. In the meantime, you can definitely find some great guides on different DA related blogs.
4 - Don’t adhere to all the negative habits that DA romanticizes.
We all know that mental illness and self destructive behaviors are heavily romanticised, and I will say this from the bottom of my heart: DO NOT LET YOUR MENTAL HEALTH SLIP BECAUSE OF SOME 15 YEAR OLD ON TUMBLR! Trust me, it is NOT worth it.
Cigarettes, alcohol, coffee, all-nighters, heavier drugs. All of that may seem cool and edgy from the outside (why people think that, I could not tell you), but it can also defeat the main purpose of DA and, even worse, ruin your physical and mental health for good. How are you going to stay ahead in school and go to Oxford if you are too busy partying and snorting coke? You will get a sore nose and a big hole in your pocket, that’s all.
Nihilism is another one. Note that I said “nihilism”, not "existentialism" (more on that coming in the future). If you enjoy pondering the reason for human existence and you question the religious beliefs that control our society, welcome to the club! But please, please, don’t let that get too much in your head. Existential depression is a very painful and difficult thing to deal with. It will take away any joy you may find and it is not in any way productive. If you have it, you will know what I mean. Thinking about it sometimes, writing poems, debating with friends, that’s all good, even encouraged, but don’t let it go to your head and become a problem. Not worth it.
Some extra things I would like to mention:
1 - Don’t force yourself into doing or enjoying anything. Sure, reading is good, but if it isn’t enjoyable there is no reason to become obsessed with it! DA should not be a burden.
2 - Stay away from the eurocentric ideals that come with the community. Racism is bad even if you want to live in the 1800s. There is simply no excuse to think that European culture is richer or more refined than any other. Remember that the only reason you think that is because some rich, old, white men decided to murder and opress millions of different people for pure egoism. Not really something to be proud of.
Also, if you are thinking “Yeah, whatever, but English culture is a lot nicer than Mexican, or Indian culture”, then you should probably reevaluate the reasons for your interest in DA.
3 - Don’t be mean to people just because you think it fits with your all-new pretentious and arrogant character. I don’t care if you want to be perceived as such, but it can be very bad in the long-run. Just be aware of that.
And most importantly, don’t let DA take away your personality! It’s okay to like video games and read gossip magazines every once in a while. It is also okay to be yourself. You don’t have to (and probably shouldn't) get rid of all the qualities that make you unique (yes, this is a cliche, but there is a reason why people say it all the time). Be silly, say dumb things and play minecraft with your friends all night, for godsakes!
“This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
(Hamlet - Polonius, act 1 scene 3)
-- Shakespeare, William
Memento Mori, dear villains.

hello i just saw your hcs of some of the bois with a huge otaku s/o may i request the same with riddle azul and leona ? thank you very much.
If you would like to read the other dating otaku headcanons check out the original post here~
Curiouser and Curiouser...
Tumblr media
Riddle Rosehearts...
... doesn’t entirely “get” your hobbies, but he doesn’t care what they are as long as you aren’t hurting yourself (or anyone else).
You like a 2D character? Okay, Riddle accepts that. He’s not an immature brat, after all. Why should he worry about competing with someone that isn’t even real? He knows that he will have your undivided love and attention at the end of the day.
Riddle only vaguely understands your interests as “enjoying foreign animation and comic books”, but he makes an honest effort to expand his knowledge, asking you to explain tropes to him.
...Unfortunately for poor Riddle, he just can’t seem to understand the utter absurdity of anime antics. His pragmatic nature leads him to questioning everything, from the physics of fanservice shots (”How in the world does the light bend around them like that?!”) to extensive transformation scenes (”Why hasn’t the enemy struck them while they’re dancing and sparkling?”) and everything in between.
Ultimately, Riddle decides that those sorts of things don’t suit him and that he’d rather keep his distance.
He has to refer to much more pop culture-savvy individuals like Cater for suggestions on what to gift you. Even if Riddle might not like anime and manga, he still wants to support your interests!
Azul Ashengrotto...
...is aware of what otaku culture is, partly due to his contact with Idia--but mostly because Azul is well aware of how much money the anime/manga and gaming industry are making.
He’ll speak to you to get advice on organizing themed nights at the Mostro Lounge. Perhaps a week of being a “host club” will net him a handsome profit. How about a “butler cafe”? What if he slapped some cat ears onto Jade and Floyd?
Azul will ask Idia to help hook him up with the best deals and mint quality items for your anime merch collection. Only the best for you, his beloved!
Oh, but careful not to talk too much about your favorite 2D boys! Azul will get clingy and pouty, whining that you should be showering him with adoration and attention, not a PNG! If his mood gets particularly foul, he’ll shut himself away in his office--or worse, his octopot--and it will be hard to convince him to come out!
Picks up a few manga and light novels to read along with you. He likes to keep himself in the loop with whatever it is that you’re currently into. Sometimes Azul even picks up a few useful tips and tricks for his schemes and/or business. Death Note was particularly fascinating to him, and Spice & Wolf was fun as well!
Make a tentacle joke, and he will just die internally.
Leona Kingscholar...
...didn’t care at first, but he has become somewhat of a casual fan thanks to your influence.
He’ll lounge around with you while you stream your favorite anime shows, just to keep you company. Leona is generally indifferent and falls asleep while you eagerly watch the latest episode of whatever show you’re following--but if there’s a really cool action scene, then his eyes are glued onto the screen.
He also gets very invested in any show with a strong rivalry between any two characters! Leona tends to side with the underdogs, since he feels like he relates to them more.
What franchises do you like again? Leona has a hard time remembering which is what. He’ll just grab you the first piece of anime merch that vaguely resembles something he has seen you watching before (oops, he meant to get you Madoka, but instead he picked up a Chibi-Usa...eh, same thing, right?).
Gets really ticked off if he catches you staring at or gushing over an anime character for too long. Leona has already had to compete with his brother for everything, and now he has to compete with drawings?
He’ll have to smother you in hugs and kisses to get your focus back on him. And your body pillows? Forget them. Leona can be your body pillow, and you can be his.

Congrats on all the followers!!!💞 I thought of a small headcannon request. Could you do the brothers reacting to an MC who digitally designs outfits, kind of like fashion design? 😁
Requests are back!!! Finally. I’m so sorry it took ages, but now that the house is selling I finally have my breathing room back! I hope I can get the last of these wrapped up (the Match-Up requests as well) then get back on to doing… whatever it is I want to do next I suppose. Thank you so much for your patience!!!
The MC Does Digital Fashion Design!
Lucifer
Honestly doesn’t care too much, but finds it respectable that they have a hobby.
His tune changes slightly when Diavolo finds out and loves their work enough to ask them to design something for him...
At that point, Lucifer is looking over their shoulder constantly to make sure they’re making progress (and aren’t going to make Diavolo look stupid… you know?)
Actually comes to greatly respect their eye for detail and creativity during the process...
Eventually, he sort of wants the same thing done for him (but he won’t admit it to anyone but the MC. No telling. Can they work in a peacock motif maybe?).
Mammon
The boy is a model so he’s actually genuinely interested in what they can do.
Mammon is actually a surprisingly good resource for ideas, he may draw a lot from what he’s modeled in the past but he’s always got a thing or two to say when they’re in a slump.
Naturally, he’s going to want something designed for him (even if they only make the digital version and don’t actually sew the thing. He can just go to Levi for that).
You know he’ll pester them to start actually trying to make a legit fashion design career out of it at some point.
Reasons: 1). Money. 2) HE’D get to be their top model and boy would he be thrilled! 3) Even more money.
Leviathan
Hmm… Interesting… Can they do cosplay, though?
100% is only going to really care if they’re doing something otaku-inspired or related.
If they are, the man is putty. He’s going to ask for all sorts of ideas (Ruri-chan swimsuit looks, Ruri-chan maid outfits, maybe a Henry or Lord of Shadows cosplay spliced in there from time to time)
He’ll even offer to sew for them so they can see their creations in real-life!
If not… Well, he’d still sew for them, but it’d take a backseat to whatever his current obsession is, so best be patient.
Satan
Finds the process interesting and appreciates the work they put into it.
Man loves art and beauty, so if their designs are good then he’s going to be even more interested, regardless of inspiration.
May offer them books of fashion design or the history of certain styles from the human world, Devildom, or Celestial Realm... Doesn’t matter, really.
He may sit in with them while they work from time to time just to watch their process. He’s a curious guy like that.
Is going to ask questions if they let him, though. A lot of questions. Be prepared.
Asmodeus
Over the moon that there’s another fashion designer in the house! (Even if their work is digital art)
Lots of late nights trading ideas and tips, probably over manicures or just general relaxation.
Even better resource than Mammon. Asmo knows his stuff and can find inspiration from a paper bag if he sets his mind to it.
Will want to flaunt whatever they’ve made to anyone he can (he WILL shove their work in people’s faces and declare that it’s amazing just by nature of the fact his favorite person made it).
Is going to beg for them to make something for or inspired by him at some point. They have the right to refuse but he would be very upset…
Beelzebub
Beel’s pretty neutral on it, honestly.
He likes what they make when they show it to him, but he’s not all that taken by it. Clothes are clothes to him.
Of course, they make something with a heavy food-theme then he may be more invested but uh… probably not for the aesthetic appeal... (watch your laptop/tablet/computer/etc.... He may drool.)
If his sports team needs new uniforms, though, he may ask them what design they’d make for them.
He wouldn’t mind being a model for them, either in real or digital form. He’s got a pretty good physique so they could probably come up with a good look, who knows?
Belphegor
Yeaaaah another neutral.
He’s really only going to be interested if A) they’re, like, phenomenally good or B) they’re drawing sleepwear. Then count him in.
Man likes onesies too, so draw a few of those and he’s sold.
He’ll like to sleep next to them while they work, he might pop into consciousness from time to time and give his input, but other than that don’t expect much...
(Secretly really wishes that they design him some comfy looking pjs, he’d run that idea down to Levi so fast you’d never guess his sin was Sloth)

I love your art, it is very detailed in a neat way. Was wondering how you got started making it as a source of income? How did you get your first paid work, I'd love some advice on how to get started, if that's ok
Thank you. Of course it's okay, although I doubt I have enough work experience in art to really delve into this. I only went full freelance this year, and had been juggling art as a side hobby until then. If you're still interested in my somewhat narrow perspective, and are okay with my long-winded rambles, I'll give it a shot:
So to answer your question fully, I'll describe how I started and move into personal advice and learnings later on. As a disclaimer, I am a white cishet dude in my late twenties with a moderate cocktail of mental illnesses, but overall I can pass for a functioning adult so a lot I have to say may come laced with privilege I cannot fully identify.
So uhh I began drawing in around 2012? I think? Maybe halfway through 2011? And I mostly made fanart for things I enjoyed and tried to branch out in communities that felt nourishing to my style and interests (I caught a bug for alt posters and enjoyed mainstream movies so I spent a long time on posterspy early on). There were a handful of opportunities that came from there but I could only accept a couple because of primary workplace commitments. Still, it showed that networking in a focused community was definitely a good place to start; I myself have huge trouble committing to social networks and really staying socially active, but I knew it was an essential ingredient in succeeding so I tried to make myself be involved in challenges and art support trains etc. as much as I could.
In parallel to all that I also ran a few third party online stores (redbubble, teepublic) for disposable income and would sometimes, if rarely, hit around $100-150 a month from those sources combined. It is a sort of thing that requires helper accounts on other social media sites to promote it on, because the stores themselves have a huge volume of content that translates into low organic discoverability. Obviously it was never gonna be the way towards financial independence through art, and with community projects being few and far between, I opened private commissions in around uhhh 2017 I think, focusing on offering a few styles I knew I could do well, and sometimes operating in individual fandoms (it was mostly a bioware thing to be frank). But I had to close them back down after a year or so, again because of work-life conflict and how badly it was burning me out. The reason I kept trying to monetize this hobby is because I honestly hated what I did for my main job and wanted to see a way out in some shape or form in the future.
And then in 2020 I had to quit my main job altogether because of *gestures at pandemic* and deal with a mental breakdown from all the wonderful things it did to us and me specifically. I took a short break and decided to give art a shot full-time, and that was around May this year. I was planning on opening up commissions again (and I still am), but a few sudden opportunities that fell in my lap moved that timetable down and now I'm grateful to even be doing something I am getting adequately paid for.
So, with that somewhat limited perspective, here's what I've learned that I'd tell myself if I was just starting out:
1. Being a fan of something can be a shortcut towards effective networking kickoffs. Which are important evidently. If you love something and enjoy making content for it, join communities, settle into a combination of social media websites that feel right for those interests + your body of work + your inner rhythm, and try to play to content discovery as much as your mental health allows you to. Like I said, I know that I myself am incredibly bad at self-motivating to talk to people, so I found that synergizing common interests into fanart - which I enjoyed making anyway - could be a way to give myself a gentle nudge forward and build those bridges leading to community activities, which then net experience and coverage. Sometimes even freelance projects from official avenues. Again; picking the right spaces for what you're after is key. Companies roam twitter, concept art recruiters scour artstation or linkedin etc, instagram can land you private commissions and collab opportunities, so on and so forth. Find your niche and try to kick up dust. However...
2. I do not believe that any social profile can replace a good portfolio. The thing that made an immediate difference to me this year was building a coherent, simple website with my best work front and center and a contact form on top. Every single opportunity I got came from that form (maybe via twitter or instagram initially, but always sealing the decision after going through the website), so I firmly believe that showcasing your skills and portfolio in a visually arresting and user-friendly way is a big priority. I had some reservations about tackling that task but fortunately I had help from a savvy life partner and we slapped it together via wordpress in less than a day. Twitter/whatever social media is prevalent in your target groups is definitely important to get the right eyes on your shit, yes, but those eyes will then look for a second stop where your work and rates are more clear and concise. Simplicity is key imo, I cannot overstate this. So make a cute, simple portfolio!
3. Your skills and rates will grow and change as you do. Let them. Over the years I built several lasting professional relationships from my obsession over mass effect and kept getting opportunities both from bioware and their partner companies, some small and some a bit bigger. A one-off job earlier this year opened an unexpected door to another much larger commitment, and then the work I did there brought some attention from small businesses looking for commercial commissions. These were all incredibly different projects in terms of scope and budget, and I've been tackling them all on a case-by-case basis and slowly coming into my own irt my needs, rates, and SOW thresholds. It is still a work in progress (and a LOT of literal work as well), and very much a thing I struggle with in publicly marketing, which is why I felt a tad underqualified to answer your question in the first place (obviously I did not let that stop me). But what it means for me now is that I am rapidly developing into whatever my "version" of a functioning freelance artist is, and when the conditions for that guy are met, I need to be able to confidently plant myself and operate from that space despite past precedents. Do not let anyone bully you into downpricing what you yourself perceive as legitimate products of personal growth and development. Speaking of which...
4. The shitty challenge of turning envy into inspiration, and paddling outside your comfort zones in full riot gear. it is hard, but realizing that being a miserable, self-hating artist in my early days got me nothing but more misery back was the first real step I took and what truly blew the hinges off. I was just not pleasant to be around, I would badmouth my work all the time, and it all somehow made sense in my broken mind because the validation I sought was purely external and the way I sought it was through eliciting sympathy via self-victimization (even when I made something objectively nice). It all led fucking nowhere. Except perhaps to my own narcissism that I one day managed to identify and start managing. So I started looking at things that made me seethe with envy and calmly deconstruct and figure out their inner workings instead, do studies, and find nuggets of inspiration or discover new ways to approach rendering or building up specific elements. It was an application of analytical diligence to what I wanted to be a purely emotional, esoteric workflow, but that I deep down knew wasn't. Art is a discipline and a skill, and maybe it isn't a straight line, but you gotta find some line to thread nevertheless. Being self-hating was almost an identity I had to break out of, and despite it still being like, 4-5% there? I realize its cause and effect on me, my work, and those around me, so it is with a conscious choice that I gently set it aside when I work and especially when I learn. It won't always stay quiet, but the effort is the difference. Your doors towards accepting true growth and venturing into uncharted territories, art styles, and networking will really open from there. But there's a huge caveat...
5. Toolsets, accessibility, privilege, and all the good things that enable artistic expression and profitability are not given equal to all. you might do all the mental work I mentioned to be ready to rock and roll and learn and draw your way out of anything, but digital art is a fucking money pit that asks almost too much at times. I don't got a good case study here but identifying and ensuring accessibility to the tools you need to do your best work is, like, super important. The ergonomics can improve as you make money and settle into the job, but the basics have to be made available to you. And some of that might not even be under your direct control. That can be anything from pen tablets to software subscriptions to opportunities in hiring sullied by sexism or what have you. You gotta navigate all that through careful networking and money/time management. I don't do a good job of devoting specific slices of time to work/study, and my primary clutch is iPad software which went from a good deal to a nightmare scenario over the years. So all I can say here is do what I didn't; network, invest in a PC/tablet, and pick a software you'll learn that won't burn a hole in your pocket.
6. Be nice to work with? This one is hard to articulate and has landed my own ass in hot water in my early years because of how socially inept I am, but nothing is more worthwhile than being.. like. a good person to work with. That can be anything like meeting deadlines, or sometimes missing them but eloquently articulating why, being generous in early stages, being communicable and not too wordy in your emails, having a good grasp on abstract artistic concepts and how to describe them in simple terms, having a clear, laid out framework of your working rates in commercial and non-commercial projects and sticking to those guns with grace, understanding when you need to say no and saying it well, the works. Just being nice. Sometimes that might mean going headstrong with something you believe in, or simmering down and sucking up to the big man, all relative and adaptive. Part and parcel of the service provision dance that we all have to do in order to make bank. Know your lines here, obviously, and don't like. work for nazis. or uh.. *shudders* exposure. but be nice and empathetic and communicable and word will travel eventually. Skill may be in abundance these days, but good people are most certainly not, and capitalism has a way of bubbling up scarcity. Grim, but uh, them's the breaks.
I know I'm ultimately telling you to like. Have a body of work, make a portfolio, grow, and network. But that's really how I see it for now. And being nice can be a cherry on top that sets you apart, along with the inherent irreplaceable voice of your artwork. I think I rambled on enough, but if there is something specific you need my help with, even if you want to come off anon and talk in private, please feel free.

For me, everything really got so much better when I turned 18. There's a bit of an adjustment for the first little bit as you start to learn what it means to be an adult, but it honestly brings good things.
Advice time!
1. Get some kind of storage, and keep all your important documents there. Any tax receipts, passports, proof of employment, ect. When you move, it rules to just open a drawer and have all that stuff ready to go. Obviously also make this a secure storage, if you can
2. Cooking! Even the higher-end dishes can be cheaper than eating out almost anywhere. Provided you don't live in a food desert - those are worth moving to a different city to get out of. If you're completely unknowledgable, refried bean burritos, steamed vegetables, stir fries, and most breakfast food are good ones for people just starting out. I've been cooking since forever, and anyone is always welcome to message and ask for recipies, fyi! Also while you're learning stuff, fixing clothes is a great one to pick up if you have the change. In general, how to fix things is always worth learning if you can.
3. Don't feel like you need to move out just because you're old enough to do it! If your parents are people you like (or don't really mind at least), consider staying with them and focusing on building up finances. If you need to get out, see if you can join a rental group, especially queer-focused ones. It's always cheaper to rent with roommates. Keep in mind that living with other people is a skill that takes time to develop and there will be road bumps.
4. There's a lot of new things to do & try! Hell yes. Don't feel like you need to do any of them, just because they're easier/legal to do. Especially for drugs (including alcohol) and sex (especially kink / risky sex). If you do want to try a new thing, start with a smaller amount. Doing something too much or too intensely can really be a rough experience, and doing something in a small amount will let you get a good feel for it, while keeping your head clear enough to understand what's happening.
5. Fuck rules and manners. Learn how to say no to people, its the best skill to have. Also, learn how to say yes - specifically when you're offered help, or free things, or any act of kindness. If someone is offering something, it's often because they'd legitimately be happy to see you have it.
6. Go thrifting! Buying high quality used clothes, instead of fast fashion, will have a much longer life span. Go to shitty little music shows! Go to dingy diners at 2am! But also take care and joy in taking care of yourself. Self maintenance will seriously make everything else much easier, and getting into the habit early will really help.
7. Whenever you move out, you'll be in a totally different environment, and that's really spooky. The first 3 or 4 nights will likely feel scary, and like you made the wrong decision. Big changes are hard, and leaving the consistency of your home is intimidating. Normally, I always say trust your gut instincts, but this one is usually wrong. Humans are built to survive, and your brain doesn't trust new things. Once you've lived there a week or so, you'll love the place. If you still feel like you shouldn't be living somewhere after 3 weeks or so, you should start looking, if you can afford it. Keeping a good and healing space is serious a #1 priority.
8. You may have been lied to about credit cards. My parents, teachers, and a bunch of people basically hammered home "don't get a credit card or you'll lose all your money". I didn't get one for so long, and I was honestly so proud. But, it was a struggle! Occasionally a place will only accept credit, and it'll suck to be locked out of them. Also, you won't build good credit that way. My recommendation is to get a card that doesn't have any fees (doesn't matter about points or whatever) and just use it for 1 or 2 of your purchases a month, that you know you can easily afford, they really don't need to be big. Pay it off immediately. If you end up taking out any loans, pay them on time! Most people recommend paying the maximum amount off of a loan each month, but as a new adult, it'll be ok if you want to hold onto more of your money, and only pay the minimum each month. That's totally OK, just do it on time! As long as you do this, you'll have really good credit.
9. Own it! You're in control now. For me, the simple little thing of picking out my own hand soaps is something I treasure. It's your life, and it looks like it now! You can get posters, fairy lights, plants, anything! Give your space some personality, make it feel like yours! Note- posters feel a little dingy after a while, even new ones. If you have some you like especially, buy some frames for them, or get them as tapestries. Both feel way fancier and more adult. But posters are cheaper, so you can get way more of them.
10. Once you're out of school, it'll be a bit harder to make friends. The best way to do it is to go to social events, like board game nights, hobby groups, ect. Anything with a shared interest means you'll likely find some people you vibe with. Don't feel like you need a ton of friends! Just a few is fine, you want to make sure they're people you truly like being around, that are good friends to have.
11. Oh shit also get vaccinated before you do any of that social stuff. Also,,, maybe look into health insurance. It's a seriously good investment, (more if you're in USA, in Canada it's not needed quite as much. Dental, on the other hand, is definetly worth getting). If you're on your parents insurance, stay on that for as long as possible! It's free baby!
12. Don't try to become what you thing an adult "needs" to be. It's your life, being an adult can be whatever you want it to look like! And, honestly, the first step of being an adult just looks a lot like being a teenager, just with a bit of change every year or so. Take it slow, and put yourself first.
13. That's it! There's probably a bit more I could put on here, but this feels good. I'm open to questions! If this ends up getting posted, this includes other people too! It's a scary process, but it can be a really good thing, and it has been for so many people I know. Good luck, be safe, have fun!
this is super helpful once I start wanting to move out, but I’m not quite there yet :) thank u tho this rlly helps me prepare lol
