“I’m all in on this. And I’m not going to let anything get in my way, with or without you.” Though the words could have been harsh, Bix softened her tone ever so slightly. She did not hold back the intensity of her resolve, but Imogen heard sincerity and fondness in her next offer. “So, if you want out… this is your out.” 

A way out. 

Empty words. They both knew it. Imogen would not have stayed this long if she had ever truly wanted such a thing. 

The bounty hunter regarded Bix for a moment. Her rich brown eyes burned with purpose, her spine was straight, shoulders squared, feet rooted to the floor beneath her boots. Bix stood like a warrior. Imogen could hardly call her a mechanic anymore. However little she physically resembled the woman she first met on Ferrix, Imogen had always known this was within her. 

She was equally committed as Bix, but not to The Cause. 

“Listen to me very carefully,” Imogen started, keeping her tone slow and firm as she took a step towards her lover. “None of this matters to me. Do you understand? None of it. The Empire could destroy this entire rebellion tomorrow and I would not care. Luthen could have the Emperor assassinated and I would not care.” Her hand came up to tenderly glide across the other woman’s warm cheek until her fingers curled around the back of her neck. “I am here for you, Bix. I will go wherever you tell me to and I will do whatever you ask of me. But make no mistake… I am no rebel.” 

“You are…” Bix placed her hands on Imogen’s shoulders and dug her fingers in, bunching up the bounty hunter’s coat in her fists. She did not break eye contact and Imogen saw the fire within her gaze flare even brighter. “Exactly what I need you to be.“

I adore these. I've been eager to see this work finished since it was first teased by Bryan a while back- DESPERATELY wish I had any real chance of getting either version. But alas.... I am poor.... (and haven't been to a convention since, like. The 2018 Mechacon, rip 😔)

I know the brainrot is strong but I really can’t shake the idea that Ed&Stede are gonna get married - whether it’ll be in this season or the next.

Because… just imagine if they’d keep the wedding toppers that Ed stole.

(I mean Stede would probably cry out of the sheer wave of emotions that would hit him as soon as he’d find out about them… come on, the guy couldn’t even decide on a flag and instead hung all of his crew’s designs up like a dad who pins his kids’ drawings to the fridge)

And eventually there would be a parallel shot of the time Ed stole them from the straights to “current day” where the painted versions are sitting on a brand new wedding cake and as the camera zooms out we see them at an improvised altar on the Revenge, holding hands and smiling like the goofy head-over-heals in love idiots that they are.

mascotless vocals lose something on an individual level but I think with a bunch of new mascots releasing soon(?) we'll be getting something back we were desperately missing when the majority of new vocals had no designs
