A Project SEKAI tabletop board game was announced on wandasho channel today! It's called Jewellery Box of SEKAI ! Unfortunately I don't speak enough Japanese to know properly what's going on here but I did pull the images from the website. Here's the box art featuring Miku (all the art is by Rella, who you might recognise from several 2DMVs, such as Teratera and Mr. Showtime)

It looks like every character has been kin assigned to a gemstone. Here we have the unit leaders as Lapis Lazuli, Sunstone, Star Ruby, Bi-color Tourmaline and Moonstone.

And here's some additional promotional photos which reveal the other assigned gemstones! In the first image here you can see Miku is Emerald and Rin is Yellow Diamond. Looks like the cards might have explanations of the gemstones?

Siblings (and the Kagamines) have the same gemstone types! Here's a full list of the assigned gemstones:

Most reliable caregiver ever!

If his littles are crying, he picks them up in a cradle and walks around rocking them gently and softly talking to them!

His name is a bit too long, so his littles refer to him as Toto!!! Or if they’re too tiny they sometimes call him papa or mama hehe ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱

Reliable mama!

Loooves babying her babies! Loves picking them up, twirling them in the air, kissing their cheeks, squeezing them in her arms, hearing their cute giggles! ૮꒰˶ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ˶꒱ა ᯓᡣ𐭩

So playful and fun! Most active with the babies

More of a big sister caregiver! She might not be good with the more adult stuff but it’s okay! That’s for Kaito and Meiko

She does alllll the silly activities with the babies do keep them entertained and happy!

Always plays chase with them! Keeps the babies active, and sometimes does it to secretly to wear them out so they can nap with Luka later hehe ଘ꒰⑅ ´ ˘ ` ⑅ ꒱♡

Rin and Len!

Although they aren’t exactly qualified to be caregivers, they LOVE to play along with the littles! ໒꒰ྀི˶˃³˂˶ ꒱ྀིა

Colouring is their favorite activity! They make a huge circle and they all draw and Color together! Meiko hangs them all All over the sekai later!

Both Len and rin pride themselves to be elder siblings!!! So they always go “your big sis and big bro got you!!!” ꒰♡˃̶̤́ ꒳ ˂̶̤̀ ꒱

Kaito had seemed to notice what Tsukasa had noticed as well.

"..Why is KAITO-san fading?!" Emu said, she was extremely sad.

"..How do I explain this?

I'm guessing my original variant died, ahaha..."

He tried to keep everyone calm, even as if was about to fade into dust.

"...Please, dont worry about me—"

"How do you expect us to not worry about you?! You're going to leave us...!" Luka cried out, not letting go of KAITO.

He just smiled, seeming to accept his fate.

"... I'm sure it'll be okay..

Just, keep going on for me, okay?"

Nene and Rui didnt know what to do, same with the rest of the vocaloids.

They just watched Luka and Meiko cry out while Kaito faded away.

That means every other variant of KAITO fading away as well..//

Yeah I think it’s likely, but I’m still quite stuck on deciding who’s most likely to feature.

Okay so following this event these are the only characters left with 4 lims: Toya (1 year ago), Honami (9 months ago), Saki (7 months ago), Kaito (5 months ago)

Also Emu but she’s pretty much confirmed to be the fes going off Leoni’s WL slot purposely being distanced from the summer fes banner (aka that’s a leoni fes)

It’s also been 11 months since An’s last lim

Also the Kaito should be for either MMJ or N25. If any vsinger appears on a lim banner it should be him

Let’s assume kaito is the 4th card on the 3.5 banner. Given that 2/4 of niigo have 6 lims already, and Mafuyu and Ena were on, the kaito will be for MMJ. That would mean Airi has to be rateup. She knows Akito, Saki, and An, so it’s not a stretch to put one or two of them, nor have an Akito event. She knows Toya too, and we know that the absolute maximum anyone’s gone without a lim is 15 months, so he should be getting one within the next 3 months. However I want to wait to see when we’re getting his event to judge this, because if he gets an event song announced today that immediately rules him out.

So maybe Akito/Airi/MMJ Kaito/4th character? Staff said on record about the 0.5 event that they made the reps meet because it’s the season of new beginnings irl, and they seem to have followed that in the 1.5 and 2.5 events. Akito meeting a member of Leo/need (Saki or Honami) isn’t out the question. But that’s also the same unit combo as last year. And Akito/Airi and Airi/Saki already know each other and have kizuna. You could do Honami instead of Saki ig. It's still VBSxL/n but it's the only thing I can think of which 1) doesn't involve niigo 2) doesn't involve wandasho and 3) doesn't involve Toya so. yeah.

Well just based on the news I think the February lim slot has to be a unit event unless they don't care about finishing the rotation before 3.5. January lim could go either way, but because of WxS World Link, that only leaves January lim, February slots 1 and 2, February lim, and March slot 2

Haruka is guaranteed to be one of the perm February slots. Honami could either be January lim or February 1. I think Ena is more likely to be the February lim than Toya is, especially given how the MV types line up. I mean they could do three 3DMV unit events in a row (with a mixed event in there somewhere) since the last 3DMV would end up in March if they do that, but it feels a little more likely they'd do the double 3DMV events and then the next 2DMV. Ena also hasn't had a lim banner with her as the focus (all of her unit events and both of her mixed events have been perms)

I don't know. WxS World Link kinda messes everything up, and the lim schedule is a mess

okay so first off after the stream it occurred to me that i did a big stupid and Honami 4 cannot be the lim banner this month. Lol. Because that would've required them to announce 3 event songs this wandasho channel.

So Toya4 is Toya/Kohane/An lims end of february. Calling it now. Ena I have my doubts about because you could do Ena/Mafuyu/Kaito because both girls are desperate for lims and n25 kaito will be the next vsinger lim, but considering Mizuki has never been rateup on an Ena unit event and also has the most lims in the game right now, I think a Ena/Mizuki rateup for ena4 is most likely.

I will admit I'm still very stuck on things. At the very least it's pretty much confirmed that Hona4 is slot 1 and Haruka4 is slot 2 for february.

Given Emu skipping the rateup she should've had on the current event i'd say she's most likely to be the lim event (plus i think it's too close to akito's last lim when lots of characters have gone nearly a year w/o, and kanade is capped on 4* cards rn). If we look at the characters who need a lim within the next 4 lim events, we have Toya, An, Ena, Mafuyu, Honami, and Emu. Emu already has been featured on mixed events with Ena, Honami and Toya, and we can rule out An based on the likeliness of Toya4 being lim. Emu/Mafuyu works, since they have an established connection, and n25 kaito should be the next vsinger lim and he works with mafuyu.

Also I've seen multiple JP specs that Akito will be the 3.5 event, which makes a lot of sense now that i think about it. it's either kanade, emu, or akito, and miku usually has a 4* on the .5 events. out of those characters, two of them already have a lim miku for their unit. so you could do something like, akito/miku and then maybe ena? i know she was lim on last year's .5 event but there's that 12 month limit thing that's been pretty consistent. plus, pre-established connection. honestly you could probably put Honami on there too because she has a connection to Ena.

then kanade perm mixed after 3.5 god knows who the cards would be on that.

it's patchy, but here's a visual demo of what i'm thinking rn. with this i'm also assuming Ichika/Saki 3.5 fes and Tsukasa/Emu summer fes. mainly based on the fact the WL gacha will end only 8 days before 3.5 (minori and shiho could get away with it because they at least had two weeks between cards). also saki will need a lim more than emu by that point under the assumption that next event is emu.

Pre-wandasho channel commentary

The next wandasho channel stream will be on the 17th, with guests Honchan, Jiena, and Minoringo. Since the last unit events before the anniversary were announced last stream, it is unknown what will actually be announced in this stream. More than likely we'll get quite a bit of news about what's going to happen in September. Also expect the SEKAI NOTE album to be brought up again since the songs are getting added to the game later this month and through into next month.

Since there isn't much to talk about I'll throw down some speculation. This month's limited event is very likely to be a Virtual Singer event. We were told we would get a Vsinger event before third anniversary, several of them are desperate for limited cards, and this is the last limited event slot before the anniversary event. So it makes a lot of sense. As for the lineup, I'm not too sure. Len, MEIKO and KAITO only have 3 limited cards each, meaning they're pretty much guaranteed to be lims on this banner (especially MEIKO since her last lim was November 2022 and she was an exchange card on the last vsinger event). Miku being an exchange card on the current event suggests that she might also be a limited card on the vsinger event.

As for the units the vsingers will be representing, i'm not too sure either. MEIKO has VBS and MMJ lims, so we can rule those out. N25!MEIKO has been MIA for a while, but I get the feeling KAITO will get the N25 card since he has no 4*s at the moment. Miku i get the feeling will be WxS, her WxS variant hasn't had a 4* since the 2020 christmas event, so is well overdue, among other reasons. That is assuming she doesn't get a 4* on the upcoming WxS event, because that will automatically mean Miku is one of the exchange cards on the vsinger event.

This screws up my original anniversary fes prediction of fes 3 miku + kaito or meiko, since no character has ever had a limited card two months in a row before. Also if Miku gets a limited card on the vsinger event, and then a fes card afterwards, that means she'll have more lims than anyone else. However, I'm starting to think Minori/Shizuku fes is quite possible. Minori's last limited card was october 2022, and she already has an anniversary card, so it's unlikely that she'll get another one. So giving her a fes is the only way to avoid her going for a year or longer without a lim.

Also just want to throw it out there that Emu is probably a 4* on the WxS event since she was a 2* on the last event.
