There’s something really funny to me about how Edwin imprinted so hard on Jack so young when the age difference and the fact that Walter is so much closer to Jack in age means that in Jack’s mind, Edwin was probably classified as “Walter’s punching bag” until he showed up as an adult in London. Like Jack probably rescued him from Walter (age 13) at Cheetham and Edwin (age 9) went “wow a Protector” and Jack (age 17) is like “I wanted him to stop kicking puppies, not to adopt a puppy”
