Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl - Official Teaser
The new 70-minute Wallace & Gromit movie, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, will stream on BBC in the UK and Netflix globally in Winter 2024.
Synopsis
Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!

Let's talk about the new Wallace and Gromit movie
I hurts me that everyone's more excited about an unnecessary Inside Out sequel over what could be the last Wallace & Gromit movie with the original team (Nick Park probably might come back after this, but I'm not sure about the other guys who were involved with the older movies). Can we get some Aardman hype here? Like, come on! I know the Inside Out 2 doesn't look as bad as Wish, but I don't trust Disney after that. I'm just sad because no one's talking about the new Wallace & Gromit! WHERE ARE MY AARDMAN BUDDIES AT????

Janky Posters 2025, Part Deux
The site where Letterboxd draws images from has pulled all fan posters so my original project doesn't quite work, but I'm still making them. First person to get all of the parody sources right gets all of my platinum shoelace tips.
Tiny sort-of reviews and more images at https://ga2so.com/blog .
Lots of terrible Photoshoppery in here, but that Wallace & Gromit one is pretty good.

Suspecting this crossover would do great numbers at the box office.

Yk I’ve always found it pretty funny how in the first scene of A Grand day out, Gromit is sitting in his own chair
Tumblr media
And as soon as Wallace leaves he goes over to sit in Wallace’s chair for whatever reason
Tumblr media
That's such a dog thing for him to do I love him

So Vengeance Most Fowl is a film made using a time-consuming but skilled way of film-making (claymation), and the main thing is a group of robots that take over from Gromit in his time-consuming but skilled activity (gardening) then quickly become a much bigger problem. And yet people still don’t think AI replacing skilled people in their trades is a problem …

I was made aware of this through a reddit post: we can nominate movies to be preserved in the National Film Registry, and we should nominate some Dreamworks movies. Shrek is already in it. The criteria is that the nominations must be at least 10 years old and an American film. With this in mind, I think we should nominate the following movies to be preserved in the registry:
The Prince of Egypt
Chicken Run
Kung Fu Panda
How to Train Your Dragon
You can nominate up to 50 movies at this submission form. Deadline is August 15. The Library of Congress also has a list of notable movies that haven't been preserved in the registry yet, which includes other Dreamworks movies you could nominate:
The Road to El Dorado
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Shrek 2
Shark Tale
Madagascar
Over the Hedge
Bee Movie
Monsters vs. Aliens
Shrek Forever After
Kung Fu Panda 2
Puss in Boots 1
Rise of the Guardians
The Croods
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Penguins of Madagascar
