Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl - Official Teaser
The new 70-minute Wallace & Gromit movie, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, will stream on BBC in the UK and Netflix globally in Winter 2024.
Synopsis
Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!

Let's talk about the new Wallace and Gromit movie
I hurts me that everyone's more excited about an unnecessary Inside Out sequel over what could be the last Wallace & Gromit movie with the original team (Nick Park probably might come back after this, but I'm not sure about the other guys who were involved with the older movies). Can we get some Aardman hype here? Like, come on! I know the Inside Out 2 doesn't look as bad as Wish, but I don't trust Disney after that. I'm just sad because no one's talking about the new Wallace & Gromit! WHERE ARE MY AARDMAN BUDDIES AT????

I was made aware of this through a reddit post: we can nominate movies to be preserved in the National Film Registry, and we should nominate some Dreamworks movies. Shrek is already in it. The criteria is that the nominations must be at least 10 years old and an American film. With this in mind, I think we should nominate the following movies to be preserved in the registry:
The Prince of Egypt
Chicken Run
Kung Fu Panda
How to Train Your Dragon
You can nominate up to 50 movies at this submission form. Deadline is August 15. The Library of Congress also has a list of notable movies that haven't been preserved in the registry yet, which includes other Dreamworks movies you could nominate:
The Road to El Dorado
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Shrek 2
Shark Tale
Madagascar
Over the Hedge
Bee Movie
Monsters vs. Aliens
Shrek Forever After
Kung Fu Panda 2
Puss in Boots 1
Rise of the Guardians
The Croods
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Penguins of Madagascar

From a scale from 1-10 how much of a hopeless romantic are the ROs?
jinwol puts the "hopeless" in hopeless romantic. he's someone where the harder he tries not to think about something, the more he does. he wouldn't ever act on his feelings and it's not like he has expectations in the first place, but sometimes he does dream. (because that's all he's really allowed to do.) 8/10.
yul is more of an incremental type? they have short-term goals (and an overarching goal) but they try to stick to realistic, achievable things. like spoon-feeding the mc. a stretch goal is helping to scrub their back. an impossible goal is taking it all the way to exchanging bows. i feel like they're more of a realist in that sense, so 4/10.
iseul is a 10/10! she's grown up on a diet of romance stories and heroic ballads and folktales – in short, she loves daydreaming and thinking up scenarios. i don't even think it has to be applicable to her to be honest, she's definitely lain awake at night just thinking about her favorite fictional couple in /scenarios/ HAHAHA
xst is... like a 0/10? -1/10? they too are "hopeless" but not "romantic" in that sense.
