What if Yugo never had a growth spurt because of Toross?

It’s strange to admit, but it needs to be said: Yugo’s growth would not have happened if his mother hadn’t returned. So if there's no eliatrope mommy, there's no toross going after Yugo's ass. Toross would never have been able to escape his prison if Nora hadn’t come along to try to rescue her mother.

Like think about the remarkable timing of witnessing this woman abruptly enter without any warning. She could have returned to the Inglorium hundreds or even thousands of years later.

I'm not saying it's impossible that she came back so soon. I'm just saying that there was also a high possibility that she couldn't have come on time when Yugo needed her to get to Toross.

The odds were 50/50 really. She could've come back anytime.

So let's say, for this hypothetical situation, the Eliatrope goddess didn't arrive on time. Now what? Yugo and his group would've been...stuck??

None of the demigods would have known how to return. Not even Dathura could do so without Sadida's magic flute. Since the gods would not be present to detect their arrival, they wouldn’t be able to help them escape from their realm. This indicates that entering the Inglorium requires the use of an artifact belonging to a god, an otherworldly object like a mechasm's heart, a dofus, or simply being a god. Similarly, leaving the Inglorium necessitates using one of the same means mentioned for entry.

So like....they're fucked??

Not having the Eliatrope goddess to take them back with portals means they would officially be stuck there. Damn.

And since the Inglorium is the realm of the gods, everyone except Yugo and the other demigods will not age. Oropo wanted to include mortals like Arpagone, Ruel, and Flopin because he understood that once they took on the place of their corresponding gods in Inglorium, the realm would be able to completely halt their aging.

As if that wasn't enough, their only connection to the World of Twelve will be through the gods' library, which records the lives of all living mortals in real-time.

Chibi and Grougal will grow up without Yugo, Adamaï, and eventually Alibert. They will have to manage the inn by themselves.

Armand will rule the kingdom and have an heir with Aurora. He will come to resent Amalia for never returning to him and for not witnessing their father's death as he called for her.

Kamasutar Junior will grow old and die without ever seeing Ruel again, just like how Az and his family will never see Yugo.

Madagaskan would only have been able to find Cleophee. She would have learned about him but would also be just as confused and anxious about where her sister and family went.

Ogrest would feel confused and saddened that he would not see Elely and Flopin anymore, while Otomaï would try to comfort him, genuinely wondering where they could have all gone.

The island of Irene would be left unprotected for a long time without Coqueline, leaving Yrehn alone with the Elante.

Poo would take care of the percedal family's home. As much as he would wonder where they are, he won't have anywhere else to go to, so he'll have no choice but to stay there for who knows how long.

There would have been no traces of the Brotherhood, and no one would have known if they were even alive in the first place. The people would likely have turned them into an old myth by then.

The Brotherhood would have been aware of everything their loved ones were doing by reading each of their mortal books, but they would have been powerless to intervene.

Time would have taken its natural course, and the group would have built their own places in the realm while living in constant fear, confusion, and horror at the idea of not being able to return without any artifact.

When the Eliatrope goddess finally arrives, it will be too late for anyone to reunite with their loved ones in the World of Twelve. Everyone will have already passed away, except for Chibi and Grougal, who will most likely feel betrayed by Yugo and Adamaï.

Even if I am a little bitter hater, I square up, and draw or write about my favorite characters myself. I don't think people in fandoms owe it to you to draw your favorite character or ship.

Would you believe me if I said I started watching that series when I was like? 8? and even though I made literal ocs and aus and stuff, I never played the games??? I mean, Thoros got me chilled to the bone, not even cuz of the kinda a lil basic undead overlord "feeding his people" (who are all dead) thing, but the whole way he was portrayed (unfeeling and yet empathetic, powerful enough to make deities cower and yet endlessly lonely, the voice acting and the scene-panning for this dude omg) and that scene were we don't know whether or not yugo is imagining things??? The part where undead-Ephrim literally pOSSESSES his twin sister??? good gods...

Also, i heard some stuff about how waven happens right after wakfu which makes sense cuz like, the world of Twelve was kinda flattened to bits by everyone swinging overpowered bullshit at each other. Do you know anything about that? Cuz if you do, i'd love to hear your opinion and all the affiliated lore.

(also do we talk about how the end was vERY open for a sequel or???? What becomes of flaupin??? Did we see Yugo on a throne like in the Kickstarter??? i just finished wakfu and bOI. bOI this hurts so bad oh gods. But good point for aging up Yugo enough that yumalia isn't weird. i still feel like the development could have been a lil bit better but like, at least it's not weird.

also this season was dARK MY GODS thoros was fucking terrifying???? the wakfu-pulling torture scenes???? the whole vibe around the necroworld???? the voice acting??? jizzus I'm deeply unsettled. (Hmmm... these are probably going to be more “chunks” than lines.... Oh, well! 8D )

 1) From my WIP A Gift, Freely Given (Mad Max: Fury Road, Max-isn’t-exactly-human-and-hasn’t-noticed!AU) 

He remembers Before.  Remembers so much farther back than he should and doesn’t understand why or how.  Remembers warm soil beneath his feet teeming with life and great dirty gums overhead and her laughter crashing across the rocks in sprays of damp salt.  Remembers her hair that swayed and twisted like kelp. It’s faint – muddled and hazy – but he remembers.  More sharply he remembers the pain.  The pain that fell from the sky and burned his skin as she withered and blew away leaving nothing but the salt of her tears crusting the ground.  Remembers how the life teeming around him slowly faded with her until he was alone.  And he remembers that he was never made to be alone. (Made?  How could he have been made?)  Every day he is dying, dying, dying, but he never dies.  He doesn’t remember going mad with the loneliness and the anger and the unrelenting pain, but he must have.  Because he is finally waking up.  As if he’s becoming truly aware of himself for the first time in a long time.

He never quite runs out of water. Always seems to have just enough guzzoline to see him through even if only barely.  His hand heals clean despite the rusty bolt that pierced clear through his palm.  This does not seem strange to him (this is the way it’s always been), but it finally occurs that perhaps some would find it strange.

2) From What You Knead (Naruto, Butterfly Effect!AU and honestly I adore the hell out of the whole story)

“Hey, Kakashi-nii, is that your gennin team?”

Kakashi straightened up to find Naruto pointing at his old team photo.

“More or less, though we were all chuunin when that was taken.”

“You were so short!” Naruto laughed.  “And-” He paused, squinted more closely at the picture, and then screeched at an ear-bleedingly loud volume, “OH MY GOSH, YOU WERE TAUGHT BY THE YONDAIME?!?”

Kakashi waited until the ringing in his ears had subsided before responding. It was okay – he probably hadn’t needed that eardrum anyway.

3) From For Innocence Lost (Bleach, featuring that time I really needed to write a cathartic death scene)

“Momo?” Aizen wheezed.  He stared at her in horror.  This couldn’t be happening!  It just wasn’t possible!  He’d spent decades forming this girl into his perfect subordinate.  He’d made sure that her entire world revolved around him – that she couldn’t live without him!  

“There is no place in Heaven for demons and false gods.”  Her words were quiet and solemn and spoken with absolute conviction. Hinamori raised her zanpakuto and brought it down unerringly across Aizen’s neck in a killing blow.

4) From One Good Eye (Wakfu)

The most important things to a Cra were her hands, her eyes, and her bow. Cleophee had her bow and two good hands. She wished she could say the same for her eyes.

5) From my WIP Amabo Te (NCIS)

It was rather impressive that their captor was managing to look so thoroughly frustrated while standing stalk still wearing a balaclava.  Tim couldn’t really blame him, though.  (For the frustration, not the kidnapping.  Tim was totally okay with blaming this guy for kidnapping them.) Really, giving Tony the truth serum concoction hadn’t been the best idea, Tim would probably been the much better candidate – and if McGee had been feeling inclined to, he probably would have informed their captor of this, but he was still miffed about the whole being kidnapped thing and it was general NCIS policy not to willingly give information to bad guys that could help them in the completion of their evil plots.  Tim would have been frustrated, too, if he’d been the bad guy giving Tony truth serum.  The instant the guy had stepped back, now-empty needle still in hand, and made it as far through his evil monologue as “truth serum,” Tony had looked up at him and grinned that manic grin that Tim had learned through long, hard experience meant trouble.  Then the senior field agent had opened his mouth and proceeded to have an entirely one-sided conversation about movies, specifically Bond movies, never pausing long enough for their captor to get a word in edgewise to throw him off topic.

6) From my WIP One Lab Accident Away from Becoming a Marginally Decent Human Being (Mystery Science Theater 3000)

“Gimme that.”  Kinga turned and grabbed the obnoxiously large key Max was still wearing around his neck.  Max cowered but didn’t protest.  He clearly realized that he was on very thin ice with her at the moment.  “Stay here and get me a full refund or I’m feeding you to the space eels.”

“But-” Max hesitated.  “We don’t have any-”

“I will BUY some just so I can feed you to them!  And if Heston is dead, I’m buying space eels anyway!”

“Full refund!  Absolutely! You got it!” Max squeaked as Kinga stomped away.

7) From From the Ashes (Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, Justice Lords!verse)

Helena was contemplating murder.  It sounded like a very appealing idea and the best way of dealing with the chiming communicator on her bedside table.  She finally managed to grab the blasted thing on her third flail.

“I hate you,” she told the person on the other end by way of greeting.

“Have you seen the latest addition of the Free Press, yet?” Barbara asked, ignoring Helena’s statement.

“It’s 6am, Babs.  Some of us cannot subsist on caffeine alone.  I went to bed less than two hours ago.  NO, I have not seen the paper.”

“They ran an article on the Phoenix Corps.”

“WHAT?!?” Helena screeched, the sudden shot of adrenaline sending her bolt upright in bed.  Next to her Vic groaned and stirred but didn’t wake.  The man could sleep through a tornado if he put his mind to it.  She started poking him in the side with one finger.

“I tried to call Q, but his communicator’s off,” Barbara was saying.

“Yeah, that’s because he remembered that he actually needs to sleep like the rest of us mere mortals,” Helena muttered, not really paying attention. Damn it, Vic was going to wake up and suffer through this bad news with her.

“Wha’z it?” Vic mumbled cracking open an eye.  He hadn’t had enough sleep, yet, to erase the dark circles he got under his eyes from being up for thirty hours straight.

“Your boss published an article on the Phoenix Corps.”

“Oh….  ‘Kay.” He rolled over, apparently intent on going back to sleep.

“What?!  This is bad, Vic!”

“Were gonna find out ‘bout us event’lly.  Nobody’s dead.  Nothin’s on fire.  ‘Sall good.” He went back to sleep.  Helena didn’t smother him with her pillow, but it was very close.

cons: voice... acting........ and foley work....... and the writing is not super strong where i am in the series, i’m sorry but it’s true.

pros: my most favorite fic author can’t get enough of this series! the character dynamics must be really fun!

cons: this is so fucking dense i cannot keep track of anything that is happening, and i haven’t even listened to everyone introduce their characters yet, also four hour long episodes.

pros: i’m already quite a few episodes into season 2, and am just barely starting to Feel Things about their characters and the bonds they have with each other!

cons: four hour long episodes. FOUR HOURS. i cannot tell you how many times i’ve had to restart the same episode because every time i listened to it i ended up taking a nap.

pros: picking up all the subtle character dynamics from the earlier episodes will benefit my rambling fanfics that i only ever show to my friends

cons: listening to tma the first time around made me physically nauseated from anxiety. actively listening to the episodes didn’t scare me, but immersing myself in a narrative about fear and the nature of fear and people’s relationships with fear and the way that they are afraid of other people and afraid of themselves, for multiple hours, for weeks, was actually not very good for me. who’d have thunk!!!

pros: i love this man and his gentle unobtrusive manner of talking about how much this series means to him

cons: it makes me want to play pokemon... and the game frustrates me somewhat, cause i am a Bad Gamer...

pros: i don’t know anything about this game!! it seems really exciting! digimon hits an odd nostalgic streak in me, cause i didn’t watch it when i was a kid, but i did marathon it in like, 2013 or something, and i have fond memories of admiring the watercolor landscapes. plus i’d be able to talk to eo about it!

cons: i’d have to boot up my desktop and get through all the updates it will require... also clean my room enough to wrestle my computer chair back into the corner. also remember what i was doing the last time i played it.

pros: HUGE nostalgia factor. this is my top mmorpg, it is so fucking stylish and cute and i understand it well enough that i can throw myself back into it without having to worry too much about learning a complicated system

cons: i don’t know if those plants are still extinct. it’s been years. i can’t level up as a farmer until i harvest those plants. this is so fucking sad i can’t believe wakfu deliberately created the ability for its players to harvest a plant species out of existence. also i’d probably get a little addicted to it again and i don’t think i need another addiction while i’m trying to move.

pros: it just seems like such a fun series! i think i could really get into these characters and the shit they get up to. anti-capitalist series of my dreams.

cons: this is the kind of thing i’d really want to watch with someone, and since they shut down rabb.it that is no longer any kind of possibility :(((

Just as I promised, I can present you a lil simple map that ilustrates my creation process on example of Takashi and Shinuo, who have the highest number of universes among my all OCs c: I had two more but didn’t add them as these aren’t really developed for now.

Questions next to arrows are supposed to show what main thought I had in mind when I was developing each of their versions. Beware the rest of this posts as notes about each universe got quite long.

Numbers show order in which universes were created but only in their case, as sometimes they were reason to create some of the worlds, while other times they were just added to already existing world because me or @ironic-artist got sudden idea.

With names, you have to forgive us, but these are just how we call them, even if these sound weird :’)

1. About Wakfu universe I already talked a lot, but it’s basically their main universe as they were created for game and animated series Wakfu. I love it’s world and individuality of each race. Here, here and here you can read about Takashi and Shinuo’s whole story. Takashi in here became a guard to make sure his father’s attempt to make their home island safe won’t go to waste and to prove himself. Shinuo, haunted with guilt for everything he was forced to participate in by his kidnappers and being aware of his healing talent, became skilled healer.

2. Basically their story thrown into modern world but because of how orphanages work and how cruel reality can be for orphaned children, it got named “bad” as Takashi turned much worse compared to his Wakfu self. Angry and impulsive Takashi decided to answer with violence to all his problems, like bulling or feeling alone and misunderstood by everyone around. Shinuo spends most of his life in hospital as stress and loss of family made his immune system issues worse. But he grew up greateful and decided to become doctor himself.

3. Purely made to enjoy our characters be happy, which in their case resulted in “what if they parents lives and could raise them?”. One of the universes where they aren’t separated for so long, but they went to different schools as Takashi is more interested in physical activities and Shinuo’s more interested in science, biology and medicine. Slight conflict frows between them because Shinuo is their father’s favourite, being the smart one. Result of me being mean, as most of the time it’s Takashi taking the spotlight :’)

4. Direct follow-up from Bad Gakuen, in which Takashi had been given a guardian by court after he badly beaten one of his classmates, but in this au, this one event got changed to more serious. Shortly speaking, Takashi got drugged during a party in the club so one of his classmates could get revenge on him by beating him up and getting some photos of him drugged. What they didn’t expect was for it to work as additional fuel for Takashi’s impulsive personality. He lost control over himself and it ended in such severe damage done to that kid, thet he died in hospital. Takashi instead of getting a guardian, got a sentence for accidental manslaughter and spent 4 years in youth detention center. It started a series of events that led him to working in mafia when he got out of it at 21 y.o. He also cut Shinuo out of his life to protect him from himself, but Shinuo’s been too stubborn to give up on him. After over 2 years of searching, he refused to let go of his crother no matter the cost and started working for the same group as Takashi, but as underground doctor, while still working legally in hospital.

5. We just like elves, so we created a world in which they’re both elves born in noble family, but with quite clash as Takashi’s all about seeing humans as inferior, but Shinuo tries to help these kept as slaves in their country- direct result of many wars and people taken captive by both sides. Shinuo also got more spotlight in that universe. In order to really help those in need, he had to stand up to their own father so he can organize a clinic which is a cover-up for hiding spot for humans and then mingle in politics to make laws a bit easier on humans, which helped him get some of them out of country, back to their homeland.

6. Au made mostly for entertainment rather than actual plot, but it’s funny to match all these characters and somehow make that circle of gods work :’D

7. Some of characters you can see in previous post and in links I gave there. Characters here have little to do with their original story versions but are rather kept intact with their personality. Takashi and Shinuo lost their parents of course, but as orphanages are almost non-existent in this universe, they were left in the streets. Shortly after were separated when their parent’s murderers tried to finish their job. Takashi ran away, while Shinuo got rescued by city guards. Afterwards Takashi worked in bar with casino despite being underage, as typical errand boy. Here he met Hidemichi who later took him in and acted as his older brother. Shinuo stayed on streets, unable to find his brother and got cared by group of gypsies and homeless people, who decided to stick together in their attempt to survive day by day. As a young teen he discovered he has some sort of healing powers, which helped this lil community greatly. This fact put him in the centre, being heart of the group and acting as sort of leader as young adult. He met Takashi while he was under Hidemichi’s care, but decided to stay with his new family, after Takashi insulted them. It’s also one of two universes in which Takashi cannonically ends up with Hidemichi, for who he fell as young adult and had a hard time with convincing Hidemichi to give it a chance despite their age difference and past connections.

8. In this one Takashi and Shinuo died with their parents, but their souls turned into yokai, about which I talked here. Takashi’s Yokai of Luck and Shinuo’s Yokai of Health c: They got included in main story when Shinuo got turned into demon by their leader, Shadow. Takashi cooperates with Shinigami trying to get his brother back, but we didn’t develop more of it for now. Whole idea had it’s root in my thoughts about some sort of evil version of Shinuo, who’s always such cinnamon roll in other universes~

9. Similar to happy gakuen and elve ones, this universe goes with idea of their parents being alive and them being raised as nobles, but with piracy included. All characters are aged-up so it makes sense for them to be where they are, Takashi being capitan of his own ship, serving in royal naval fleet and Hidemichi to be experienced pirate. Their relationship got very complicated as they stand at opposite sides, but while Takashi’s very serious about his duties and raised in respect for authority, while Hidemichi’s carefree and treats Takashi as rival rather than enemy, even falling for him in meantime. Which makes it second cannon universe for them together, as Takashi later gets doubts about good and evil sides and spares Hidemichi’s life despite being ordered to finish him after he got finally caught.

Just as question stated, what if they were androids of the same model but different kind designated with different purpose, in the world where androids are at inferior position compared to humans and struggle to survive? To be precise, they were prototypes that didn’t fulfill their designers’ expectations and were supposed to be taken apart to save parts. They attempted to ran away and got damaged in result, Shinuo getting critical hit and being unable to go with Takashi, who managed to get away. Shinuo was taken to the waste dump as his parts were qualified as too much of a problem to harvest after taking damage. His sight stopped working, his hearing got worse, his memory malfunctioned as well as sense of balance and he couldn’t leave on his own. In the end he was found by Rizou (by @ironic-artist) and slowly put back together despite it being very time consuming, because Rizou simply liked his rare albino appearance. Usually Rizou was coming here to harvest parts from androids damaged beyond repair and sell them or use them to repair androids in his workshop, till he found lil gem waiting for someone to help him :’)

Maybe you could do an Undertale and Wakfu crossover comic? It could be about when Frisk, asriel, and Chara ending up in the world of Wakfu. Then, they meet the Brotherhood of tofu during season 1 of the show?

I have never made a comic before and would have no idea how any of that would even begin to go. Cept maybe someone screwing around with time and space and ripping a hole through the multiverse. *cough*gaster*cough* and then youd also have to take ages into account with yugo and amalia being 12 and 13 while asriel and chara would both be in....interesting situations, by the time frisk shows up. And even if we pulled a time travel shenanagin asriel before he died was anywhere between 9-11 while chara was 10-13 and frisk is...probably around the same age as chara?? And then theres the acatual story which mind you would be bad cause the only story telling i have ever don ehas been in daydreams and i cant write otherwise fanfics would exist. And then you gotta take in chara’s attitude and personal bias towards humans. And in general theres just alot of thing that would have to be bent and mangled to make an actual undertale/wakfu crossover work. Which is why i went with the au route. Because i can get away with bending the world to my will and if i get someone out of character you can go ahead an yell at me for it cause idk what im doing! :D but it also allows me to play with certain ideas that the show and game never did. ie:yugo’s dragon blood. And adamai’s for that matter. It also allows me to play with time and ages and sometimes i screw that up anyways but shh ill fix it. Not to mention removing flowey as a thing that asrielwent through allows me to play with those darker thoughts a bit (asriel ran away from home without leaving a single message because he knew if he said anything someone would stop him and he knew if he stayed hed just end up resenting them. He already snapped at chara on multiple occassions due to the incessant noise in his head and hated upsetting them so leaving felt like the best option to him at the time. so asriel isnt a murderer and will never be one but he does end up with a bit of a temper if he stays in one place too long. He hates leaving yugo but does it so their friendship isnt on the line due to the constant calls of the wind.) which makes things a bit more interesting and gives character flaws to a character who we didnt know for more than a few minutes since its really clear asriel and flowey are very different in personality despite being the same person.

Tldr: the idea is fun but extremely complicated and idk how an actual crossover would work with the way things are in the game and show. I made an au simply to combat this and because i wanted to play around with ideas and personalities! Also comics are hard and id need to look into it before id even begin attemtping to actually do it. Itd be fun most certainly and ill probably do one eventually but itd be for wanderingtale due mostly to chara’s whole being dead situation. And flowey is a can of worms that makes everything 10x more complicated than it needs to be.

OCtober #17: Delinquent OC

Finally, here's the prompt I was waiting for~ To be honest it won't be anyone new, just another universe for that character... But I'm quite proud of that one~

You know, Takashi was firstly made with idea of "evil" or at least mean twin compared to my little angel Shinuo. But in wakfu universe it didn't really worked out :'D I was too good for him and he turned out to be nice guy, even if arrogant. That's way I wanted to fix that. At first I created universe similar to this happy, school one I mentioned (but it was actually created the last) but Takashi was supposed to be bad guy. So I thought- why he turned out to be helpful and quite brave in original? I got to the point it was because he always had some people close to him even after he lost parents and brother, as I gave him foster parent (his parents' close friends) and later he met Hidemichi who acted like older brother and friend for him. So I decided that if I create universe placed in our times, he and Shinuo would end up in orphanage, which aren't really good most of the times. Second thing I did was to separate brothers here as well, because Shinuo poor health needed a special care, and someone fucked up sending them two different places, making their contacts much harder as kids.

Takashi's personality was always hard one as he easily gets feeling of injustice as it was this time and he rebeled againts this unfair decision. But instead of trying to solve the problem, caretakers just punished him all the time. Then, as kids often tend to do, started turning more and more violent when nothing worked. But it just got him the tag of "bad kid". Also because of all emotions he couldn't handle himself, he started having problems in school. It was just a neverending circle, to the point Takashi didn't care anymore, turning into typical teen vandal to get out his frustration on things and other people.

To this point it doesn't seem that bad, right? It isn't a crime at this point. And it wasn't, even if he failed classes few times. The real breakthrough between this bad gakuen au and what I call "criminal au" was party where Takashi got into a fight with other troublesome teen. In bad gakuen, he ended in hospital, which caused Takashi to get guardian settled by court.

But then I thought- what if Takashi could turn even worse? What if he was drunk or even more at this party, and other teenager ended being dead by accident? Then I decided about creating new universe where Takashi because of this crime and his other wrong-doings got into youth detention center until he was adult. Then after that he wasn't able to find himself any job for long as no one wanted to hire a young criminal... And that's when he met Hidemichi, who this time wasn't a good influence on him. He got into illegal gang and started slowly climbing in such "career" to the point when he was well known for his short temper and impulsive, even violent behaviour and was Hide's man for dirty part of their job- cowing, beating up people who stand in their way, this type of stuff. He has few people under himself to help him.

That's how criminal Takashi was made and tbh @purple--hurricane was first who inspired me to think of such universe. She also created her own version of Asano, who's criminal psychologist working for police. That's how she met Takashi, who often gets arrested and then let go because of too little evidence (covered up by Hidemichi). And let me tell you she's a badass lady who was able to succesfully outtalk pissed Takashi- and that's worth mentioning :3
