For Aus, my main one is a canon divergent one where the Mysteries know each other (it doesn't follow a precize timeline, they mostly just vibe in a white void)

And for more infos on old aus I answered an ask a looong time ago: here (I still really vibe with mysteryFam and AfterLife au)

I also have some shared aus with my friend @mari-lair where we basically just go insane on random aus AidaIro did illustrations for (Bee au and Magical Girl Au my beloved)

I have others aus I don't plan on really sharing for now (I can barely be active here at all dshkdjs) but maybe one day I am not sure

And for Fics I never wrote any in my life (at least in english and I never finished any ahah) but I started one really recently that could also be considered an au. A super indulgent canon divergent fic.

Where Akane wakes up in an unknown place after the events of the red house, having fuzzy memories of what happened in the new timeline. He just wanna go back Home.

And that's the idea for now and if you follow this blog a little of course you know which character he will meet on his journey (spoilers alert: the mystery kids ofc, I plan to make Akane and Shijima interact sm omg)

I don't think I will post it (my writing english is a disaster it's so obvious that the sentences were thought in half another language/half english ahah) but I plan to do some illustrations for it when I can :DD I am kinda excited for this one for now ^^

Sidenoteeeeeee, in regards to the alleged strong overlap between TBHK and Alien Stage (YouTube series) fans, I wanted to ask if it was true.

While I make art for myself, if it’s something everyone doesn’t know/care much about, I’ll just prioritize other ideas I want equally as much! Cause while I create for myself, if more people can be happy along with me then I wanna do that.

I will be revising the world building, storylines, and replacing aliens with supernaturals among other changes. There will also be a MitsuKou comic cause I had a hella (hella) vision and despite not being a big MitsuKou shipper, I can’t deny the prophecy.

Ships featured will be AoiNene, HanaNene, MitsuKou, AoKane, TeruKane, SakuNatsu, etc. Their requited-ness will be up for interpretation so more people can enjoy! You should know my biases though (wiggles eyebrows).

There will also be a strong Tsukasa presence for my tumblr bestie (@makshu)! As well cameos for more of the TBHK cast!

Unfortunately, no animatics. Just comics & art. But maybe one day or if it’s in enough demand.

Okay, but hear me out:

These two songs popped in my head and seemed to suit them to so much. Mey-Rin really goes from "Sniper" to "Wifey" the moment she puts the glasses on. And Sebastian's excitement about being a butler and serving and following his "aesthetics" is very genie-coded (on the surface level, of course). He even grants three wishes!

I went ahead and gifed both scenes (which proves that I'm very clearly normal)

So, Mei shatters her family sword defending MK. She then models her sword after Azure's. MK later brutally smashes his head against Azure's sword, cracking it (and Azure) apart. Azure then uses that sword to stitch the universe together, losing his life in the process.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Curse's words, "Such pitiful creatures: cowardly, reckless, monstrosities; all doomed to play a roll in tearing this world apart! To cause nothing but chaos and destruction.", with 4x13 being titled "Rip and Tear" and Azure quite literally tearing the world apart. You trying to do what you think is right but that still leading to bad outcomes—to shattering and breaking and destruction.

Other bonus parallels/contrasts include:

Mei breaking her sword to defend MK, while Azure breaks his sword attacking MK

"But how am I supposed to protect everyone if I don't have my sword!" and then Azure uses his sword to save the entire world aka everyone.

Mei: "If you're not giving everything you have to protect the people you care about you are nothing!" Azure: "I would have done anything in my power to bring them back—but it wasn't in my power, it was in yours." (Using power for the people you care about) (Interesting to note however, Azure is fine with his friends as collateral ((love you 4x10 roar)) where as Mei will put a lot at risk for her friends ((she doesn't object when MK suggests going into the scroll even if it'll risk the curse being released)))

Mei: "What's the point of having power if you won't use it! [...] Inaction is careless! [...] Then maybe you don't deserve power!" Azure: "I did not sacrifice everything simply to be an idle deity! I will do what my predecessor did not!" (Aka those who deserve power are those who will use it)

Both were totally willing to sacrifice Wukong for their goals (Mei in 3x12 and Azure throughout s4, but especially in the special)

Mei: "Wukong knew the risks—that's the hard part of being a hero!" Azure: "Nothing is won without sacrifice!"

Jade Emperor Azure and Samadhi Fire Mei as containers for uncontrollable power (I talk about this one a lot)

Do we think "How could you lead us into this fight without a real plan!" applies to the Brotherhood's attack against heaven

They really did not need to have Mei model her sword after Azure's, so I wonder if this is building to an eventual "Mei V MK" fight (where Mei is most likely fighting MK to save MK) and Mei uses her sword to protect herself from one of the people she cares about.

I feel like there's more to the sword situation, but I can't put my finger on it.
