it’s 3am and i’ve spent the past few hours drawing a bunch of doodles of me and anton hanging out together like we’re the bestest of friends because it’s my art and i can draw whatever i want forever

#i’ll post the drawings this weekend probably #anton oc #wyrms says stuff #wyrms lore #it’s 3am and i am not tired but i also have to get up early so #hey at least i don’t have any classes on fridays so that’s good #wow anton is so cool #wow #wow i love him so much more than anything really #platonically obviously we’re both very aroace #and i know if he was real we’d be best friends we’d do everything together #we’d go see that absolutely horrendous looking minecraft movie on opening night together #he’d talk to me about rats and science and snakes and i’d talk about undertale and tma and gravity falls #we’d have so much fun i’d teach him how to play video games and he would love it so much #and he’d show me all of his weird and wacky science experiments and he’d be so silly about it #and we’d go on walks in his forest and he’d show me all the animals #and we’d comfort eachother when we’re sad and it would be so cozy and safe #we would have eachother and understand eachother that’s all we will ever need #wow he’s just so real to me guys #like he feels so real #and i’m so genuinely sad that he’s not #he deserves to exist he deserves to be happy #the fact he doesn’t exist feels like i lost someone extremely close to me and will never get them back #it’s like i’m grieving the loss of someone who never existed and it hurts #he deserves to exist :(#ouughhh #this is devastating #it hurts #i should go to sleep #:(

question: how did you discover/get into scooby doo?

this is something i'm always so interested to hear, being that there are few people who don't have at least some small tie to the franchise. whether you would consider it one of your biggest current interests or it's just something nostalgic from your childhood, i'd love to know how you found scooby and what it means to you!

#for me it was my dad! he grew up with the original show and wanted to introduce it to me #so one day when i was maybe? seven?? he came home with the winter wonderdog dvd and we watched it that night #from there we watched every single scooby doo movie that had ever been made #and got the new ones as they came out in subsequent years!#watching a new scooby movie with my dad every weekend are honestly some of my favourite childhood memories #also what's new scooby doo had also started airing on one of the main cartoon channels here in the uk around 2010 #so that's the show i watched the most consistently as a kid #velma was my original favourite of the gang because i looked a lot like her (big glasses/same haircut/etc.)#people would always compare me to her and it genuinely gave me a lot of confidence in my appearance that stays with me to this day #but fred was always my firm second favourite - he made me laugh the most of any character #and took on a deeper meaning to me in my adolescence when i realised i was autistic and strongly identified with his portrayals as such #the characters are probably what's kept me coming back all this time - they've been with me forever #and i love them individually + as a team who support each other with their unique skills and love for one another #but also the wacky adventures and general aesthetic #many people joke about the basic plot being the same every time but it makes my autistic brain happy #i love permanence and consistency baby!!!!!#and the different variations on that same formula always keep things fresh and fun #anyway ramble over #looking forward to hearing you guys' responses! :D #scooby doo #nem misc posts :]

minneapolis, so far…(and a little Chicago)!!!

#one of those surprises of [last Posts were in may; february]#lsoh #guthrie little shop #joys of costume closeups #if i had to guess the sparkly river one is chicago....absolutely the guthrie & gold medal flour building of mn there #and the last one i'm like 95% sure is minneapolis as well. dunno about the other building #literal closest thing to either; once i went to indianapolis #next experience with Larger Cities is wacky stuff like [has fairly often been to dc] & [went to baltimore for several days once?]#& [has been in & out of nyc Once driving through to probably laguardia or w/e & i was 7 so it doesn't count for much]#other being Through or in the vicinity of larger cities but other than that like. through/near boston. pittsburgh...?#nashville a couple times as my only visits to another time zone. louisville. savannah ga was not a Large City experience #nor richmond va....so on so forth #i had free reign once to Pick A Trip Destination (not Really like internationally. or probably even that far nationally. and i wouldn't've #wanted to add Flying to the mix anyway e.g.) but with a trip partner where it was like so this is an obligation at the very best #inherent punishing experience as well so i Might've been like eh fuck it weekend in chicago?#but given that i suspected i might have otherwise enjoyed the trip it was like i don't wanna ruin that lmao #bit of a so close yet so far tantalus element to add like no that is okay. keeping [genuine enjoyment] out of the mix when possible #or big city or not the so close yet so far [new orleans jazz festival school trip i didn't go on ft. the epic music dept head]

I come here bearing an absolute throwback of a prompt if you will accept it. I wish to read some more of that sweet, sweet (parent)s content, particularly the detective adventures of Jamie (and an exasperated Scott) as she tries to figure out once and for all what it is that the Hartley's do/did for a living fdhsjejeghe

"Jamie," he said again, his voice as tempered and calm as it had been the past twenty or so times he'd tried to get her attention and stop her from spiraling, "you could just ask."

He wasn't sure why he thought that one might work - certainly he should've known better by then - but there still was still one brief, shining moment of hope in Scott Giddings's heart as he watched her stop to take a breath. "Ask them?!"

Yeah, no, never mind.

"I can't just ask them, oh my G - we've been friends for so long, you don't just...just...drop on someone you've known for a decade that you can't remember what they do for a living, that's like - it's - you can't - what are you talking about?!"

He took a deep breath of his own, then, and, nodding, said to himself just as much as her, "I didn't come into this conversation expecting to say this, but I'm really beginning to understand why Ashley is the person that she is, if that makes sense."
