I'd probably survive a second one, but a lot of people won't. A lot of people didn't survive the first one.

This man is probably going to make voting insanely difficult or even get rid of it entirely. He's probably going to take away womens right to vote, and probably even black/poc's right to vote. I get y'all are upset by Palestine, and you have every right to be angry at Biden for how he's handling Palestine (I am also angry at him for how he's handling Palestine,) but when the alternative is this Hitler wannabe who's going to make it only cishet white male republicans can vote and fuck over everyone else, vote Biden. Vote blue. Please for the love of god. Plus, if Trump gets elected, he's not only going to give Israel 5 trillion dollars for their genocide, but he's probably going to give them the a-okay in their genocide. This is the man that banned muslims from entering the country, this man HATES arabs and muslims and will gladly give Israel the funds and ability to not only kill the Palestians, but wage war on the rest of the Middle East as a whole. And he will shut down any pro-Palestinian protest and possibly have those protestors shot and killed as well in the name of "protecting America from terrorists."

It's not hist actual agenda, but the Heritage Foundation is planning to use him to carry out this heinous agenda. They literally have a thing about what they plan to do with voting, specifically about how voter suppression is handled and its NOT GOOD. Register to vote and PLEASE vote blue not only for president, but at a state and local level. please.

i remember doing the mock election in school in second grade(2004) but i have no idea who i voted for for president because my main memory of that event was just going through the entire down ballot picking any name that sounded like it might belong to a woman. then in 6th grade(2008) we did the mock election and i voted for obama on purpose. and i think he actually won at my school and let me tell you. the rednecks were NOT HAPPY!

Every time I’m with my irls the subject comes up a lot more cause they’re into more female oriented series but man while it’s given better female rep is just okay-not astounding but not feeding into the more worse tropes of women in anime-I feel really bad for Michiru.

It’s like she’s the more prominent female in getter as she’s probably had the most appearances out of any of the others but I feel she’s never been used to her fullest potential. The manga really felt like Ken didn’t know what to do with her as she just kinda existed and then was killed off, arma just uses her as a plot device, toei I can’t speak fully but I know she’s a support character however given it’s that role and the 70s it only goes so far and in other canons she’s flat out hardly acknowledged. (SVN literally just has her as a cameo)

New is probably her best version but I feel there was some missed opportunities with her as the Hein arc could’ve shown more what was going on in the present and with her but it didn’t have enough time for that, and even if she does have dynamics with the boys hers and Ryomas are very undeveloped as they hardly interacted which is both a shock and a shame as they seemed to be fun in the one ep-ep 2-where they really talked.

And also as much as I like News approach to her characterization it is a shame we hardly ever seen the more traditional version of Michiru be fleshed out, when even if “uwu nice girl” is more basic it can still work and be a good character. Like it made me more sad watching Android Kikaider and seeing Mitsuko who’s basically the same trope as Michiru-down to even LOOKING like her-being a older sister with a dead brother, absent mother and a sus scientist father and be so fleshed out, but Michiru never got that chance.

You can always say “oh maybe in another getter project” but fuck knows when that’ll happen ever man💀

And of course you can dislike spending time with a group of people because of their views! But dismissing an entire group of people as barbaric and stupid and not worth your time and even subhuman (?!) because of their views? Be serious. How will that ever fucking help. Do you think separating the good people from the bad people has ever resulted in anything good at all ever? You know what helps? Talking to each other. Finding common ground. Good, you both like baking. Good, you both live on the same street. Good, you both like the name Ruth. Or fucking whatever. And then go from there. Try to maybe listen and understand each other for once. I'm not talking about forgiving people who plan on taking away your human rights or who would rather see you dead. Obviously. Do you praise and celebrate when people change for the better or do you hold on to what they used to do and put all your focus on what they still need to learn? A homophobe might meet a gay man and consider him one of the good ones, and that's a good start. That's not the end but it's a good fucking start. If your politics are in-group/out-group politics you are not helping and you do not have the interest of your fellow people at heart. If your beliefs have pushed you to the point you hate a certain group so much you think it's better if they're dead? I'm asking you to think about that a little, okay? Maybe go outside.
