I really like the game's descriptions of the dark eyes that runs in the Erebis family, how Xioni Erebis' eyes are darker than the night sky. Kibellah's own eyes were described as dark multiple times in the game up to that point, so the moment the Erebises showed up on Dragonus with those eyes and the same yee yee ass haircut... I pieced things together pretty quickly...

Got the new DLC for Rogue Trader, what with the Death Cult Assassin and all, and let me tell ya folks. For a $17.99 expansion, I think it’s worth every penny. Not only does it make the game hornier by adding more characters, more dialogue options, listen, this thing adds a bath attendant you can ask to bring your followers in to have fun splashy bath time with you. It’s incredible, it’s everything I thought was missing from the game!

You can delve into your own ship and pry into the lives of your lower deck rabble, you can visit a neat shrine, go chill with the Astropathic choir, and although I have only played a few hours of a fresh campaign with the DLC activated, it looks like the DLC is restructuring old scenes by adding new characters and bridge crew! I don’t know how much they keep up with that, but act one does have a lot of fresh dialogue. It’s kinda awesome. If the whole game has new options worked in throughout, and it’s not just this first act, then I’d say the whole thing is well worth the price!

Kibellah, the new companion, is pretty fun too! I love throwing vials of blood at folks and hitting everyone around her after she does a big leap attack. Love me a weird fanatic too, so she’s great to have around if you want to hear some bullshit about webs, blood, and the Emperor’s Tarot. A fantastic addition to an already great group of characters.

Is there any Heinrix and Kibellah content that you find interesting?

thank you so much for your question!

I find anything that involves Heinrix interesting, but regarding Kibellah specifically that he knows (from his own dialog on Footfall in act 4 when you talk with Chorda) that death cultists are often heretical and that Kibellah is a weak psyker (I am pretty sure he knows as the player can recognize it as well) and while he is observant and a little sceptical regarding her tarot reading (using her psyker powers although she doesn't realize it) he clearly sees her as a valuable asset and doesn't question her faith in the God-Emperor so that he even tries to recruit her into the Ordo.

Maybe that is just the lack of my lore knowledge, but I had assumed that her being an unsanctioned psyker (even a weak one but strong enough that other psykers notice and she get results) would be more of an issue for him, seeing how he is from the start keeping an eye on Idira out of the same reason. Of course, Idira is much stronger and therefore a greater danger but I would assume even weak psykers might be dangerous.

Seems like it is a difference if an unsanctioned psyker is directly in service of the Inquisition...

And additionally, that he seems to be fine with the Viszier reading the Emperor's tarot and the whole blood bath warning. Again, maybe my lack of the lore, but I would see a difference between someone in an official / high status appointed to read the Emperor's tarot and some death cult guy, even if it is the leader. The Viszier and Kibellah are psykers, they could like Idira just hear whispers from the warp that are not from the God-Emperor. But here Heinrix seems to be fine with it. I know he is faithful but he has seen and experienced a lot (the worst - taking his dialog that he has long abandoned hope regarding human nature) and knows that death cultists are often heretic and he is dealing with unsanctioned psykers and still - still he believes them. That was kind of mind blowing for me. He is usually so sceptical but here it is like he wants to believe that it is a sign of the God-Emperor.

And I was missing a reaction from him when Kibellah murders one specific guy in act 4 out of her own sense of justice and not based on the tarot. I always had her and Heinrix in my team and always walk between quests to each companion (and even the non companions) to see if there is something new to talk about but nothing. So actually I would have liked more interactions between them but that is just the usual limitation of resources I think.

loving void shadows, but as of the most recent genestealer quest (the crypt-chapel back and forth in act 2), i have One Fear

please don't let einrich be nemesite. he's such a lovely character, especially if you're playing as an iconoclast, and i will literally be heartbroken if i have to kill him because he's a fucking genestealer.

the whole "passion for justice, the indomitable flame of a fighter, and unyielding determination" description really scream of einrich, not to mention how he's slightly awkwardly sliding into all of the related quests. plus adalbert says that nemesite is willing to do anything for his ideals, and einrich threatened to fucking vent plasma engines into a room he was standing into to threaten the nemesite supporters. which yknow, is quite out of character for him (unless you see it as him being protective/into the rogue trader as they just got insulted), but it also helps solidify the crew's view that the captain is some evil tyrant and leads to everything escalating so kibellah kills them all.

plus einrich clearly dislikes how kibellah gets away with murdering random crew (even enforcers)

so, yeah. as someone who is deeply intrigued by einrich's general character and who has deeply enjoyed the flirt options with him so far, i'm gonna be heartbroken if i have to kill him. he's been a nice iconoclast contrast to jocasta's very-close-to-slaneeshi-heresy, though being nemesite would check out because what other options does an iconoclast have as the infernus master instead of as the rogue trader?

but my poor rt is going to take it really hard if he is. she's a psyker who originally grew up orphaned and dirt poor the lower levels of her hiveworld, so einrich and idira are like the only two people who aren't either insane or elitist nobles as far as she's concerned (despite romancing heinrix, lol). and einrich clearly cares for the crew and especially orphans and he clearly either dislikes or feels nervous around enforcers, so he's basically the most relatable and normal person to her on the ship by a quintillion miles.

On the other hand, I can't wait to "touch" the new content, so I am speedrunning Chapter 1 as fast as I can to get Heinrix cause I want the man to be with me when I do new quests and visit new areas.

From what I already saw, I can say it us intriguing. If I post anything with spoilers (I'm sure I'll make some videos) I will hide them under cut and add warnings.
