Allowing the smallest amount of light through to a long shaded heart, feeling the warmth of the tiniest pinprick of brightness that began to melt the ice formed around the organ covered in ancient wounds.

Protecting any youth even if they weren't your own, he found kinship in the eyes of a paranoid old blonde crow. He found reassurance and patience in the form of a beautiful man with nightsky hair who enchanted him slowly, waiting all the time he needed.
