as he gets older they get more complex, but hes largely able to mask and keep things under control

when the paladins find the Blue Lion and go to space, his tics really ramp up and he's got no clue what is happening

he starts having really bad attacks after battles when he's stressed and the adrenaline has worn off

after suffering through it alone for a long while he finally tells Shiro because. how do you explain human brainweirdness to aliens.

and Shiro is like "no yeah dude you have a tic disorder"

Lance has only ever seen Tourette's as "person shouting at inconvenient times" so at first he's all. tic disorder? me? FAKE NEWS.

but then he, yknow, actually thinks about it and goes back to Shiro and is like. heyyy man how do you know 👀

turns out Shiro knows because. he also experiences tics (you can pry Shiro and his functional tics from my COLD DEAD HANDS!!!!!!)

lance is super. whoagh. because whaaaaat his role model has tics? the guy he's looked up to for all these years is like him?

he cries a lil bit but it's ok Shiro won't tell anyone

after the war he uses crutches because he kinda messes up his legs and his tics don't exactly help with that

they purposely remove themselves from each other's premises if things start ramping up because it creates a feedback loop and it. isn't exactly fun after a while.

✦before confessing his feelings to you, he had to ask lance for some help

✦it took a lot of contemplating and hyping up but he finally got there!

✦keith would struggle a little at the beginning of the relationship since he's worried you'll leave him for someone better. he would spend nights just staring at his ceiling and thinking how much better off you would be with someone else.

✦though overtime those thoughts would fade away but not completely.

✦he would try to flirt with you, but he'd become very flustered and awkward but you thought it was very adorable by the effort he'd put into it!

✦he is very against PDA (aka public display of affection)!!

✦if you break it, expect a very grumpy, pouty and flustered keith.

✦keith is VERY clingy in your relationship, he’ll just want to constantly be near you especially in social situations.

lance and keith can both make food, but lance cooks better. ive seen so many people go “lance cant cook” “keith can cook lance hardly can” BLAU BLAH BLAH!!!!!! lance can cook legitimate food, shit that’ll make you want more like he is WIFEY material. this man is an angel, an absolute master of cooking. desserts? that… doesnt matter. he can make basic stuff, but the elaborate things? hardly. (hunk helps him out most of the time when it comes 2 that, he is a god send.)

keith makes STRUGGLE MEALS. this boy will grab a soft tortilla, slap some ketchup, cheese, and then microwave it and call it a “pizza wrap”. he genuinely thinks its the best thing ever. if ur ever in a survival situation and u need edible food, hes ur guy. hes got that. but he cant really cook legitimate food for shit. he will make a basic sandwich, serve it to lance, and then call himself “housewife material”. he microwaves his tea. makes his hot chocolate with water. drinks sink water. what is wrong with him, no one fucking knows!!!!!!

I know lance is the flirt of the group, and he's 100% the kinda guy who would brag about his 'experiences' but like.

I think Keith would be better at flirting.

Because lance flirting is ridiculous pick up lines. It's making people laugh, it's making people have fun.

as a korean who speaks both languages i adore keith being kor in certain hcs too but one of my favourite hcs is that when japanese!keith was a kid he 1. most definitely idolised shiro in part for the representation aspect and 2. shiro most DEFINITELY taught that boy some japanese to talk shit about their superiors in LMFAOOOO
