Hey if Marian likes sewing/making her own clothes, would Modern AU Marian be into cosplay at all? Or even just elaborate Halloween Costumes, she can drag Sebastian to all the Contests and they win every year (it helps that their so hot too).

Oh, she definitely goes all out during Halloween. I imagine she has ever since she was a kid, making her and Bethany and Carver’s costumes out of whatever was in the house because they didn’t have the money for proper costumes. And then as she got older, Halloween became an opportunity to flex her skills, so she came to love it even more lol.

As for cosplay, I don’t see her as much of a “nerd”, so it’s probably not something she’s super into. I do headcanon that a Modern AU Sebastian is a nerd, particularly of science fiction. So maybe once they start dating she dresses up as his favorite characters for his birthday 😏

I had a meetcute idea where they meet at a convention; she was there to chaperone Bethany and/or Carver and was convinced by them to also dress up. Their theme was Mass Effect so she came dressed as Miranda, and she’s wandering around until she runs into a guy cosplaying as Shepard in full N7 armor. They chat, she finds him pretty charming, then he takes off his helmet and BAM oh no he’s also really hot.
