Me, 2 weeks later: So I have compiled all of the quotes from the book that I think could make good tattoos, and also, HOW HAVE I NEVER LEARNED ABOUT HOW THE LAST UNICORN FUCKING SLAPS??? This gay-ass little fairytale fed my soul! Watered my crops! Transed my gender! Can't believe I heard of this story from youtube recommendations, of all places!!

the escape, nicopolis 1396. — oh, nicopolis, i've so many thoughts about you. but among the many tales of sigismund's escape from nicopolis via danube, be it via fishing boat, fishermen or venetian ships, i've chosen to insert our dear lord toth into this scenario, according to KCD's lore. the blood, of course, symbolizes the great many military losses which occured in that battle, with king sigismund at the head of this crusade. and if you want to know more, i've done a fairly concise post about the battle of nicopolis here.

#ffxiv #digital art #zenos yae galvus #venat #endwalker spoilers #will forever be fascinated with this man #look guys look- the literal embodiment of wol's wings of hope LOL (and me going hehe about that and footfalls)#the part of me that adores digging into the nuance of character writing (intentional or otherwise) is just latched onto zenos #and venat-- they cant just give us two characters who get really important 1v1 duels #and ask really important questions #and love the MC and are willing to risk themselves so unconditionally #and have them not live rent free in my brain #--and maybe this tiptoes into the realm of crack theory so beware there will be a lot past here--#but I cant help but think zenos is akin to an oracle or warrior of light but was tempered/corrupted by zodiark #or some strange happenstance of varis (who shares visual traits to golbez before 6.0 ever came out and the dark mana burst)#and carosa (who it seems zenos got his looks from- and he already looks like he has ties to venat and argos like minfillia does)#was he a result of the eternal chess match between the two parties' machinations? or just some strange twist of fate?#another day of him being “emet's successful experiment” (again- intentional or no) making me thonk #theres something so strange about the final days dreams and how dark aspected he is- that his void abilities are more tied to him tbh #yet his mannerisms beyond just what he's been through almost reminds me of light corruption and the uncanny calmness #we see in most beings associated with the light in any significant way and like second phase eden shiva #he almost has all the marks of someone who shouldve already had the echo or blessing of light but for one reason or another #was unable to hear hydaelyns call #of course it doesnt help i mentally associate him with connections to zero and how she was corrupted before she was even born #and durante- who states uncanny ability and connection with light and darkness and yet favors dark magic more #i simply live with the idea that zenos' soul was an eternally faithful companion to wol's and #this time the cardinal sin of separating the pair finally happened to rather dire consequences lmao

or how I tried understanding rpg maker basics by literally trying to do one (1) thing I really wanted to see ever since seeing Loop unused sprites lying on wiki months ago

the reason I mentioned isat ss discord was simply bc guys were the first people who saw me trying to draw close to pixel sprite face sprite for Loop to,,, do something at some point just to see how it works

and nope I'm not making this into anything, but I really like the fact that I managed to do this

(now with video post edited into this sentence!)

#the Start and the Epilogue is still planned as a visual novel in my head #I got myself rpg maker to make my thing later which is entirely not related to isat (I already showed my OCs involved in that)#isat shitpost #isat spoilers #isat #isat loop #isat siffrin #isat head housemaiden #that one post about voices difference in isat really helped as it is a bit confusing otherwise #I learn by taking apart stuff - that's how I learn #and how I analyze too #break down the character break down the game to the point of literal out-of-bounds make it all make sense in your head #as my head REALLY likes to complicate AND simplify things #basically this was both #also I have a newfound admiration of rpg games as planning ALL this is honestly so cool #like you need to have EXTREMELY clear picture of what you see otherwise it'll break and you won't be able to fix it properly #also Loop's sprite was flying for so long before I understood the problem and it was funny as hell tbh #also they're not in my Seafoam design bc I was... honestly a bit too tired to make new sprites #so I jsut changed soe details on the ones I already looked over and called it a day for now #I'm sleepy and this silly thing took me 3-4 hours and it's like 3 seconds long #but to be fair I was confused for first 2 hours #anyway shout out to isat ss discord and a happy Loop Wednesday (it's 1 am of 5th so it IS a Loop Wednesday)#not art #sillied too hard #I also accidentally softlocked myself by putting Loop nest to Head Housemaiden so they're a bit futher from her #two hats spoilers #I FORGOT that tag
