Ingress Immigration: Your Pathway to LMIA-Exempt Work Permits in Canada
In the intricate world of immigration, understanding work permits can be challenging, especially when it comes to the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) Exempt Work Permit in Canada. This permit allows certain foreign nationals to work in Canada without the need for an LMIA. With the help of Ingress Immigration, a trusted immigration consultancy, you can navigate this process with ease.
Demystifying LMIA and Its Exemptions
Usually, Canadian employers require an LMIA to hire temporary foreign workers. The LMIA confirms that there's a need for a foreign worker and that no Canadian worker is available for the job. However, there are several exemptions to this rule, which can simplify the process for both employers and prospective employees.
The LMIA-exempt work permit is issued under specific circumstances, including self-employed engineers, technical workers, creative and performing artists, and more. These exemptions are based on Canada's international agreements or the wider cultural or economic benefits they bring to the country.
Eligibility for LMIA-Exempt Work Permits
Not everyone is eligible for an LMIA-exempt work permit. Foreign nationals who wish to work for themselves or manage their own business temporarily in Canada must prove that their business will significantly benefit Canadians.
Private entrepreneurs intending to start or operate a business in Canada may also qualify for an LMIA-exempt work permit, provided they meet certain eligibility criteria. It's important to note that while LMIA-exempt individuals still need to obtain a work permit to work in Canada, meeting the eligibility criteria under an LMIA-exemption category means the applicant does not need an LMIA for their application to be processed.
Ingress Immigration: Navigating LMIA-Exempt Work Permits
Navigating the complexities of immigration law can be daunting, but with Ingress Immigration, you're in good hands. We specialize in helping individuals understand and apply for LMIA-exempt work permits.

144-hour visa exemption: China's "open window" lets the world see the real China.
Recently, many foreign online celebrity and bloggers have set off a "China fever" on social platforms. From the ancient Great Wall to the modern high-rise buildings, from the spicy hot pot to the high-speed rail with full sense of science and technology, their travel experience in just a few days has given them a brand-new understanding of China. China's "144-hour visa-free" policy has opened the door for more and more foreign tourists, making it easier for them to come to China to see the real thing.
Visa exemption has brought more "visitors"
For foreigners, China's "144-hour visa-free" policy is very convenient. This policy applies to citizens of 54 countries. As long as they hold a joint ticket from a third country, they can stay in a visa-free city for six days without complicated visa procedures. This has surprised many foreigners-originally, it was only a short transit, but I didn't expect to "punch in" the cities in China. This simple and convenient "transit tour" has become the first choice for many foreigners.

According to the data, in the first half of this year, the number of foreigners entering the country at various ports increased by 152.7%, and more than half of them entered through the visa-free policy. It can be said that this policy not only makes it easy for more foreigners to visit China, but also attracts a group of "visitors" who are curious about China. They use their own perspective to discover and record China, and then share what they have seen and heard with the world.
China in the eyes of foreigners: colorful and true.
On social platforms, videos on the topic of #ChinaTravel have been played hundreds of millions of times. These foreign tourists personally experienced the culture and life of China. Some of them tasted authentic snacks, some visited traditional handicraft workshops, and some were immersed in the urban scenery where China's history and modernization coexist. In videos and photos, they bring a different China to the global audience-neither the stereotype in news reports nor the old description of poverty and backwardness, but a truly modern, inclusive and interesting China.
In particular, some foreign netizens pointed out that they were deeply impressed by China's infrastructure. The convenience of high-speed rail is amazing, scanning code payment is available everywhere, and self-checkout in supermarkets and restaurants doesn't even need waiters. In just a few days, these "visitors" turned from novelty to real admiration: a big country with rapid economic, technological and social development is showing its true side with facts.
Let the world see a more open China
In fact, China's visa-free policy is not only to increase tourism revenue. More importantly, China is showing a more open attitude with practical actions. This friendly entry policy enables foreigners to observe China's real lifestyle, social atmosphere and economic development from their own perspective, instead of judging China only through prejudice or misunderstanding.
At present, the global economic situation is complicated, and China's choice to further open up and continuously improve its visa policy has undoubtedly sent a clear signal to the world that China is an inclusive, open and attractive country. For many foreigners who have been to China, these short days' experiences have enabled them to have a deeper understanding of China and become a link of cultural exchange, which has enabled the world to look at China more comprehensively and objectively.

Craig Harrington at MMFA:
The economic policy provisions outlined by Project 2025 — the extreme right-wing agenda for the next Republican administration — are overwhelmingly catered toward benefiting wealthier Americans and corporate interests at the expense of average workers and taxpayers. Project 2025 prioritizes redoubling Republican efforts to expand “trickle-down” tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation across the economy. The authors of the effort’s policy book, Mandate for Leadership: A Conservative Promise, recommend putting key government agencies responsible for oversight of large sectors of the economy under direct right-wing political control and empowering those agencies to prioritize right-wing agendas in dealing with everything from consumer protections to organized labor activity. [...]
Project 2025 would chill labor unions' abilities to engage in political activity. Project 2025 suggests that the National Labor Relations Board change its enforcement priorities regarding what it describes as unions using “members' resources on left-wing culture-war issues.” The authors encourage allowing employees to accuse union leadership of violating their “duty of fair representation” by having “political conflicts of interest” if the union engages in political activity that the employee disagrees with. [Project 2025, Mandate for Leadership, 2023; National Labor Relations Board, accessed 7/8/24]
Project 2025 would make it easier for employers to classify workers as “independent contractors.” The authors recommended reinstating policies governing the classification of independent contractors that the NLRB implemented during the Trump administration. Those Trump-era NLRB regulations were amended in 2023, expanding workplace and labor organizing protections to previously exempt American workers. [Project 2025, Mandate for Leadership, 2023; The National Law Review, 6/19/23; National Labor Relations Board, 6/13/23]
Project 2025 would reduce base overtime pay for workers. The authors recommend changing overtime protections to remove nonwage compensatory and other workplace benefits from calculations of their “regular” pay rate, which forms the basis for overtime formulations. If that change is enacted, every worker currently given overtime protections could be subject to a slight reduction in the value of their overtime pay, which the authors claim will encourage employers to provide nonwage benefits but would effectively just amount to a pay cut. The authors also propose other changes to the way overtime is calculated and enforced, which could result in reduced compensation for workers. Overtime protections have long been a focus of right-wing media campaigns to reduce protections afforded to American workers. [Project 2025, Mandate for Leadership, 2023, Media Matters, 7/9/24]
Project 2025 proposes capping and phasing out visa programs for migrant workers. Project 2025’s authors propose capping and eventually eliminating the H-2A and H-2B temporary work visa programs, which are available for seasonal agricultural and nonagricultural workers, respectively. Even the Project 2025 authors admit that these proposals could threaten many businesses that rely on migrant workers and could result in higher prices for consumers. [Project 2025, Mandate for Leadership, 2023]
Project 2025 recommends institutionalizing the “Judeo-Christian tradition” of the Sabbath. Under the guise of creating a “communal day of rest,” Project 2025 includes a policy proposal amending the Fair Labor Standards Act to require paying workers who currently receive overtime protections “time and a half for hours worked on the Sabbath,” which it said “would default to Sunday.” Ostensibly a policy that increases wages, the proposal is specifically meant to disincentivize employers from providing services on Sundays as an explicitly religious overture. [Project 2025, Mandate for Leadership, 2023]
[...]
International Trade
Project 2025 contains a lengthy debate between diametrically opposed perspectives on international trade and commerce.Over the course of 31 pages, disgraced former Trump adviser and current federal inmate Peter Navarro outlines various proposals to fundamentally transform American international commercial and domestic industrial policy in opposition to China, primarily by using tariffs. He dedicates well over a dozen pages to obsessing over America’s trade deficit with China, even though Trump’s trade war with China was a failure and as he focused on China, the overall U.S. trade deficit exploded. Much of the rest of Navarro’s section is economic saber-rattling against “Communist China’s economic aggression and quest for world domination.”In response, Kent Lassman of the conservative Competitive Enterprise Institute promotes a return to free trade orthodoxy that was previously pursued by the Republican Party but has fallen out of favor during the Trump era.
The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 agenda would be a boon for the wealthy and a disaster for the working class folk.

The report, “Handcuffed like dangerous criminals”: Arbitrary detention and forced returns of Sudanese refugees in Egypt, reveals how Sudanese refugees are rounded up and unlawfully deported to Sudan – an active conflict zone – without due process or opportunity to claim asylum in flagrant violation of international law. Evidence indicates that thousands of Sudanese refugees have been arbitrarily arrested and subsequently collectively expelled with the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) estimating that 3,000 people were deported to Sudan from Egypt in September 2023 alone.
“It is unfathomable that Sudanese women, men and children fleeing the armed conflict in their country and seeking safety across the border into Egypt, are being rounded up en masse and arbitrarily detained in deplorable and inhumane conditions before being unlawfully deported,” said Sara Hashash, Deputy Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at Amnesty International.
“Egyptian authorities must immediately end this virulent campaign of mass arrests and collective expulsions. They must abide by their obligations under international human rights and refugee law to provide those fleeing the conflict in Sudan with safe and dignified passage to Egypt and unrestricted access to asylum procedures.”
For decades, Egypt was home to millions of Sudanese people studying, working, investing or receiving healthcare in the country, with Sudanese women and girls, as well as boys under 16, and men over 49 exempt from entry requirements. Around 500,000 Sudanese refugees are estimated to have fled to Egypt after the armed conflict erupted in Sudan in April 2023. However, in the following month, the Egyptian government introduced a visa entry requirement for all Sudanese nationals, leaving those fleeing with little choice but to escape through irregular border crossings.
The report documents in detail the ordeals of 27 Sudanese refugees who were arbitrarily arrested with about 260 others between October 2023 and March 2024 by Egypt’s Border Guard Forces operating under the Ministry of Defence, as well as police operating under the Ministry of Interior. It further documents how the authorities forcibly returned an estimated 800 Sudanese detainees between January and March 2024 who were all denied the possibility to claim asylum, including by accessing UNHCR, or to challenge deportation decisions.
The report is based on interviews with detained refugees, their relatives, community leaders, lawyers and a medical professional; as well as a review of official statements and documents and audiovisual evidence. The Egyptian ministries of defence and interior did not respond to Amnesty International’s letters sharing its documentation and recommendations, while the Egyptian National Council of Human Rights, the national human rights institution, rejected the findings claiming that authorities comply by their international obligations.
The spike in mass arrests and expulsions came after a prime ministerial decree issued in August 2023 requiring foreign nationals in Egypt to regularize their status. This was accompanied by a rise in xenophobic and racist sentiments both online and in the media as well as statements by government officials criticizing the economic “burden” of hosting “millions” of refugees.
It has also taken place against the backdrop of increased EU cooperation with Egypt on migration and border control, despite the country’s grim human rights record and well-documented abuses against migrants and refugees.
In October 2022, the EU and Egypt signed an €80 million cooperation agreement, which included building up the capacity of Egyptian Border Guard Forces to curb irregular migration and human trafficking across Egypt’s border. The agreement purports to apply “rights-based, protection oriented and gender sensitive approaches”. Yet, Amnesty International’s new report documents the involvement of the Border Guard Forces in violations against Sudanese refugees.
A further aid and investment package, under which migration is a key pillar, was agreed in March 2024 as part of the newly announced strategic and comprehensive partnership between the EU and Egypt.
“By cooperating with Egypt in the migration field without rigorous human rights safeguards, the EU risks complicity in Egypt’s human rights violations. The EU must press Egyptian authorities to adopt concrete measures to protect refugees and migrants,” said Sara Hashash.
“The EU must also carry out rigorous human rights risk assessments before implementing any migration cooperation and put in place independent monitoring mechanisms with clear human rights benchmarks. Cooperation must be halted or suspended immediately if there are risks or reports of abuses.” Arbitrary arrests from streets and hospitals
The mass arrests have mostly taken place in Greater Cairo (encompassing Cairo and Giza) and in the border areas in the governorate of Aswan or inside Aswan city. In Cairo and Giza, police have conducted mass stops and identity checks targeting Black individuals, spreading fear within the refugee community leaving many afraid to leave their homes.
Following arrest by police in Aswan, Sudanese refugees are transferred to police stations or the Central Security Forces camp, an unofficial detention place, in Shallal region. Those arrested by Border Guard Forces in Aswan governorate are detained in makeshift detention facilities including warehouses inside a military site in Abu Simbel and a horse stable inside another military site near Nagaa Al Karur before being forced into buses and vans and driven to the Sudanese border.
Conditions in these detention facilities are cruel and inhumane, with overcrowding, lack of access to toilets and sanitation facilities, substandard and insufficient food, and denial of adequate healthcare.
Amnesty International also documented the arrest of at least 14 refugees from public hospitals in Aswan, where they were receiving treatment for serious injuries sustained during road accidents on their journeys from Sudan to Egypt. Authorities transferred them – against medical advice and before they had fully recovered – to detention, where they were forced to sleep on the ground after surgery.
Amira, a 32-year-old Sudanese woman who fled Khartoum with her mother was receiving treatment at an Aswan hospital following a car crash on 29 October 2023 that left her with fractures to the neck and the back. Nora, a relative of Amira, told the organization that the doctors told her she would need three months of medical care, but after just 18 days police transferred her to a police station in Aswan where she was forced to sleep on the ground for around 10 days. Cold and rat-infested detention facilities before collective expulsions
Amnesty International’s Evidence Lab reviewed photos and verified videos from January 2024 of women and children sitting on dirty floors amidst rubbish in a warehouse controlled by Egyptian border guards. The former detainees said the warehouses were infested by rats and pigeon nests and those detained endured cold nights with no appropriate clothing or blankets. Men’s warehouse conditions were overcrowded, with over a hundred men crammed together and limited access to overflowing toilets, forcing them to urinate in plastic bottles at night.
At least 11 children, some under the age of four, were detained with their mothers at these sites.
Israa, who has asthma, told Amnesty International that guards at the overcrowded horse stable near Nagaa Al Karur village ignored her request for an inhaler, even when she asked to buy one at her own expense.
After periods of detention ranging from a few days six weeks, police and Border Guard Forces handcuffed males and drove all detainees to the Qustul-Ashkeet border crossing and handed them to Sudanese authorities, without individualised assessment of risk of serious human rights violations if returned. None was given the opportunity to claim asylum even when they had registration appointments with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), asked to speak to UNHCR or pleaded not to be sent back. Such forced returns violate Egypt’s international obligations under human rights and refugee law, including the principle of non-refoulement.
Border Guard Forces expelled Ahmed, his wife and two-year-old child together with a group of roughly 200 detainees, on 26 February 2024, after detaining them for six days in Abu Simbel military site.
Since the conflict in Sudan began, Egyptian authorities have failed to provide statistics or acknowledge their policy of deportations.

holy fuck this is crazy okay so i’ve been thinking about studying at national and kapodistrian university of athens and i’ve been searching around the internet seeing people’s opinions on the school and i saw a post you made about studying there which is such a coincidence because we are moots! anyways i just want to ask how do you like it there? is there anything i should know before applying?
OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS!!!
Okay SO, I have a bachelor’s in classical studies and linguistics, I think Americans call that a double major? That thing was EXCRUCIATING, it was 60 subjects in 4 years, plus an internship and a thesis. My master’s, which is in computational linguistics and data analytics, has been even harder. I have too much to say about this topic, so I’ll categorise all the shit I need to speak on and hopefully this will help you!
Academics: The education is top notch. There’s a reason it’s one of the top 100 universities in the world in many lists. There’s no department that has a bad reputation. You’ll have to do a lot of individual studying, though. We’ve got well equipped libraries. The professors are really good at what they do. I’m not sure whether you wish to pursue a bachelor’s or a master’s, so keep in mind that we have almost no Bscs where the lessons are delivered in the English language and only a few Master’s, which I believe are about Medicine, Law etc. Almost always, the lessons are conducted in Greek and you’ll need a Greek language certificate to get accepted to a greek university. UNLESS OF COURSE you’re only here for Erasmus or you’ve managed to find an english delivered programme, in which case you’ll be totally fine. Just make sure you check!
Finance: All bachelors’ are free. Almost all masters’ are 100% free and if they aren’t, they don’t cost more than 2k euros for the whole duration of your studies, and even then you can apply for an exemption. Now, since everything is free, there’s no such thing as financial aid or loans for students here, so you’ll have to find a way to cover your life expenses yourself. I’d say the average person needs about 800 euros - 1k per month in order to lead a somewhat decent life in Athens without a roommate. Your uni schedule will allow you to work (if your visa allows you to) since attendance is not mandatory here, except if you have any labs. Also, as a student you’ll have major discounts almost everywhere, so make sure you ask about it everywhere you are.
Premises: Please bear in mind that the actual university buildings in Greece suck MAJOR ass. They’re old, they’re brutalist, they’re bare, they’ve got no heating or air conditioning and so on. They are horrible. Generally, the more prestigious a faculty is, the worse the condition of its establishment. Picture soviet union buildings. There are very few dorms available in Athens, so make sure to check if you meet the criteria for one or if you’ll need to arrange for accommodation yourself. Mind you, finding an apartment to rent in Athens is gonna be very challenging. The house market is so bad that it is unusual for Greeks to leave their parents’ house before getting married, usually in their 30s, so roommates ain’t really a thing here. The university does offer free breakfast, lunch and dinner every day though (there are certain financial conditions that dictate whether one is entitled to free food or not but they’re so lenient that almost everyone meets them, like your family’s annual income not being more than 100k or smth).
Administration: Now, when it comes to the administration of the university, it is quite decent. You’ll hear a lot of people complain about this, but honestly we Greeks do love to complain. The administration gets things done fast usually, as long as you make sure to have the right paperwork for your requests. We’ve also got a great career office, helped me land 2 different office jobs when I was younger.
Social life: Your peers are going to adore you. Young people here LOVE foreign students, everyone will want to be friends with you. We’ve got a bunch of different clubs you can join and nightlife in Athens is awesome. Winter kinda sucks ass, but spring and summer are totally amazing and you’ll be able to visit a shit ton of places. Greeks are generally insanely friendly and helpful. If you are a POC or obviously LGBT+ (meaning that people could clearly guess you belong in the community by glancing at you), I have to warn you that some old fucks or trashy people may glance strangely at you at the bus stop or the superkmarket, but the people you’ll actually have and want to socialise with here (fellow students, people your age etc.) will love you. The youth is very progressive here, and while old and middle aged folks can be a pain, they may scowl at you but nothing worse.
ALL IN ALL: EKPA or UOA is a great university, meaning that it is a very good place to acquire knowledge. Our facilities are kinda shit, though. You can only accept it for its inner beauty, lol. Our libraries and lessons are filled with material in the Greek language mostly. Education here is free. The university has a lot to offer and our teachers are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. You’ll almost never have homework, your grade in a lesson will usually depend 100% on your finals. You’ll have to study a lot. Athens and Greece in general are very beautiful. The people here are very loving and understanding and you’ll have an amazing time here. HOWEVER, if you’re looking for an aesthetically pleasing college life, I recommend you skip it. It’s nearly impossible to romanticise EKPA. Will you have a good and fun experience here and will you come out a very educated person? Yup. Will you have a DREAMY college life and reality you’ll long for in the years to come? Fuck no!
Please feel free to ask ANY questions, I’m more than happy to answer. And if you do decide to come here, ΚΑΛΗ ΑΡΧΗ! ❤️

It's an insane thing when Westerners act like they're unaware of this when they're EXTREMELY aware when it comes to dating someone from another country.
They know the power they hold over that person's head and they want them to be grateful. Sadly progressives are not exempt. Saying the right words and waving the right flags means nothing. Their girlfriend from another country where they're a persecuted minority breaks up with them and they're crying, "Boo hoo, she's such a bitch, I'm so great and she broke up with me when I was willing to do her the favour of sponsoring her visa." Yeah. They're such a great and generous person that she's willing to risk the possibility of going back to her country instead of marrying someone who even in trying to paint themselves as a victim portrays themselves in a position of control and superiority over her. Good on her for dodging that bullet.

DM EXCLUSIVE: Judge demands Biden's DHS must hand over Prince Harry's immigration papers so he can decide whether to release them publicly by u/Von_und_zu_
DM EXCLUSIVE: Judge demands Biden's DHS must hand over Prince Harry's immigration papers so he can decide whether to release them publicly This is a significant development in my opinion. The Judge is taking this seriously.Judge Carl Nichols has told the Department of Homeland Security he wants to look at Harry's immigration file He will review it privately before deciding whether to release it publicly The Heritage Foundation believes Harry's admitted drug use could mean he should be banned from living in the US if he lied about it on his application Judge Carl Nichols told DHS that its arguments so far were ‘insufficiently detailed’ for him to make a decision. [This sounds serious.]He asked the agency, which oversees immigration, to give him declarations explaining the ‘particular harm’ that would arise from the disclosure of the Duke of Sussex’s visa application.***In an order filed to the court in Washington, Judge Nichols stated that the Freedom of Information law authorized him to review ‘declarations and/or contested records in camera’.Doing so would help him to determine whether any exemptions preventing the documents from being made public apply.Such a review is appropriate when ‘agency affidavits are insufficiently detailed to permit meaningful review of exemption claims….when the number of withheld documents is relatively small, and when the dispute turns on the contents of the withheld documents, and not the parties’ interpretations of those documents’, the order said.Judge Nichols said: ‘Having reviewed the parties’ written submissions and heard oral argument on the motions, the court concludes that in camera review is necessary to determine whether the records in dispute come within the scope of the claimed exemptions’.Judge Nichols gave DHS until March 21 to submit declarations that detail ‘the records it is withholding and the particular harm that would arise from public disclosure of them’, his order said. The review will be conducted in camera, meaning it would be done by the judge in private.https://ift.tt/y47o8Ba to add the Order: In reading this, the Court has asked for Declarations that describe the documents withheld, but has not asked for the documents themselves. Heritage Foundation is allowed to submit more too.https://preview.redd.it/8m6ynfic3zmc1.png?width=2304&format=png&auto=webp&s=756c557ffa58d3a896311b16cad1d1480394dfd0 post link: https://ift.tt/k0fm6qS author: Von_und_zu_ submitted: March 07, 2024 at 09:24PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit Disclaimer: All views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments or reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. summary of what these new executive orders will do for those who don't feel like reading all that shit. (source: https://www.wbaltv.com/article/track-the-executive-orders-president-donald-trump-signed-on-day-1/63458999)
all of the subtitles representing each order are shortened to 2 words based on the full order's title because i originally wrote this for something with a short character limit.
RESTORING NAMES: renames the mountain of Denali to Mt Mckinley. the Gulf of Mexico becomes Gulf of America (super cringe and i am never calling them that)
DESIGNATING CARTELS: cartels and foreign gangs are classified as terror groups, trump will use "Alien Enemies Act" to deport immigrants who were born in nations the gangs are from
REFORMING THE: no more diversity/equity rules for fed hiring. new guys must uphold "ideals of our american republic"
which most likely just means they are trump dickriders and other such fascists…
ENDING RADICAL: eliminates DEI and environmental justice requirements for hiring, as well as positions related to that, as well as any money going to diversity
DEFENDING WOMEN: trans people are no longer legally recognized by the state. redefines sex and gender to exclude trans people. he wants to undo any sex change on legal documents(?) ban the gov from supporting trans people. ban trans people from using preferred and they will require prisons to forcefully detransition trans people.
ESTABLISHING AND: creates "DOGE", also known as elon musk's position in trump's white house. to make the gov more "efficient".
AMERICA FIRST: prioritize USA and Trump's interests in america's global politics and actions.
PROTECTING UNITED: stricter screening and visas for new immigrants. will possibly ban people from certain countries from attempting to immigrate at all. they will try to deport a bunch of people.
UNLEASHING ALASKA: basically revokes any previous regulations that said that you can't drill for oil and gas in environmentally protected regions in Alaska
PROTECTING AGAINST (#10): gonna be stricter on immigration laws. make it a priority to deal with illegal immigrants. additionally will create Homeland Security Task Forces in every state. They want to try to identify every unregistered immigrant and announce it. Trump wants to make detention facilities (concentration camps) for holding the people who are apprehended. he wants state and local cops to be allowed to act as immigration officers. will undo most of the biden admin's actions regarding immigration. will prohibit federal funding from going to any city/state that refuses to comply with this/acting as sanctuary for these undocumented people. ban any money from going to things that he finds to be benefitting undocumented migrants. he's also gonna be hiring a lot more immigration cops...
tl;dr for PROTECTING AGAINST… increase the police state so that they can deport or detain as many undocumented migrants in concentration camps as possible
REEVALUATING AID: all foreign aid must align with donald trump's foreign policy and it'll be paused for 90 days for him to evaluate it all.
DECLARING ENERGY: declare a national energy emergency and allow energy resource collection on federal lands. allow agencies or governors to possibly be exempt from the regulations of the endangered species act. in other words, reckless oil drilling.
RESTORING DEATH: the AG must now pursue the death penalty for all crimes that are severe enough. he wants to try to reimprison the people on death row that biden let go. attempt to overrule supreme court precedents that make it harder to execute someone.
SECURING BORDER: build a wall. try to punish those who violate immigration laws and any citizen who may aid those people. deport more people. arrest and deport more migrants.
VALUE CITIZENSHIP: no more birthright citizenship… you're not a citizen if your mom wasn't documented (or if both your parents just weren't citizens even if they were legally here) at the time of your birth.
REFUGEE ADMISSIONS: revokes biden admin rulings about refugees being allowed to seek refuge in the USA. entry via the US Refugee Admissions Program is suspended and any refugee attempting to come in will only be allowed case-by-case until homeland security says it is in the so-called national interest to allow USRAP.
AMERICAN ENERGY: no EV requirement anymore. freedom of gas stoves lmao. encourage oil drilling and other energy collection much more domestically. revokes 12 biden climate change executive orders- (good strat if we want to all die.) sigh. abolishes American Climate Corps. abolishes any agency created by the revoked executive orders.-
-yknow what? just assume if it's a climate regulation, it just got shot in the back of the head. new interstate oil pipelines. bye bye Green New Deal. aghhhhh!!!
MILITARY ROLE: have the military at the borders to seal them and prevent 'invasion' by illegal migrants.
HOLDING FORMER: 50 people have their security clearance terminated.
RESTORING ACCOUNTABILITY (20): reinstates a 1st term trump order with some amendments. basically just says he can fire people in the executive branch if they disobey him or his higher-up underlings that also have to obey him.
WITHDRAWING FROM: we are no longer part of the World Health Organization and won't follow its rules.
APPLICATION OF: TikTok must follow trump's rules about national security if it wants to not be banned in the USA.
INITIAL RESCISSIONS: he revokes 67 other biden executive orders (which trump summarizes as "radical DEI ideology")
it would just be easier to link to the document than send screenshots of the list of all 67 orders so https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/initial-rescissions-of-harmful-executive-orders-and-actions/
notable ones he revoked include "Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad" and "Promoting Access to Voting" and "Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government" or "Protecting Worker Health and Safety" as well as "Advancing Equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Individuals" because he totally really loves the working class and minorities ( :/ )
RESTORING FREEDOM: he wants to investigate the executive branch's activities during biden's term to determine if they violated the first amendment particularly about alleged censorship of protected speech on social media.
ENDING THE: trump admin appears to want to free the jan 6 rioters. the fed totally isn't allowed to go after political opponents anymore. anyway, this is going to be used to go after political opponents for supposedly violating this order during the biden admin and remedying what violations they find.
PUTTING AMERICA (26): leaving the Paris Agreement. leaving any agreements made under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. revoking the US International Climate Finance Plan. this will somehow make the US a leader in climate and energy.
