Ennui tickle headcanons!

1. The Reluctant Reactor

Ennui acts unimpressed by any attempts to tickle them, rolling their eyes or giving a dramatic sigh. However, despite their best efforts, they’re actually ridiculously ticklish, and their stifled giggles come out as little snorts that they try to hide.

2. Tickle Apologist

If someone manages to get them laughing, Ennui might immediately return to their usual lethargy and mutter something like, “Well, I suppose that was… mildly amusing. Don’t do it again,” even though they secretly didn’t mind.

3. Zero Effort Defense

Ennui doesn’t bother trying to escape when someone tickles them. Instead, they just flop over dramatically, as if saying, “Fine, get it over with,” while trying to keep a straight face.

4. Irony Magnet

Ennui might find themselves most ticklish in the most ironic spots, like their palms or the soles of their feet. They’d insist, “How dull,” while curling their toes to try to avoid it.

5. Accidental Tickler

Ennui might inadvertently tickle others without meaning to—like brushing their hand against someone’s side when gesturing languidly. If the other emotions react, Ennui would raise an eyebrow and say, “Was that supposed to be funny?”

6. Chaos Target

The other emotions (especially Joy and Disgust) might see Ennui as a prime target for tickling because it’s the only way to break through their indifferent demeanor. Even Sadness gets in on it sometimes, just to see the rare moment when Ennui lets out an unrestrained laugh.

7. Post-Tickle Recovery

After a tickling session, Ennui dramatically declares, “I am drained. Ruined. Forever undone,” before flopping onto a couch like a fainting Victorian character. Everyone else rolls their eyes but can’t help but laugh.
