Biography

Vincent has been in Huntsville for a little over five years now, having arrived completely accidentally from wrong turn after wrong turn, the last turn being at the fork in the road. When he first arrived he thought the people were joking with him and didn’t think much of it till dusk fell and he was pulled into a nearby building. What he saw that night was unexplainable to him and he hated that, he felt like everything had to have some sort of explanation. 

It took him a few weeks to adjust to this new lifestyle and come to terms with it as well but it was quick as he took a job as the manager at the local diner in town where he’s worked since. It’s been a good gig for him, a way to meet the folks around town and being the type to help out with bussing, taking orders, even as far as helping cook some if the help is needed.

He always tries to make people’s day in some way even if it’s cracking a joke here and there. Vincent doesn’t like talking about his life outside of Huntsville and tends to keep that to himself and while he used to not like nicknames the ones people have given him such as Vin or Vinny have grown on him and goes by Vin a majority of the time now.

There were benefits from being someone's favourite, particuarly when that man happened to be feared by many and richer then most in a place like the Wastelands. Casey had called New Vegas strip his home for some time now or perhaps more specifically the casino and he'd woo'd and seduced and dancers for plenty of patrons and had become the favourite dancer of many. But there was sort of an unwritten rule among those within the casino, don't mess with Casey Wills unless you wanted Vincenzo Romero to deal with you who just so happened to be one of the best hired guns around.

Casey knew on some level that Vincenzo was smitten with him, always lingering around where he danced and every now and then taking him out for the night when he was done keeping his distance. So here was Casey, stepping down with grace and elegance and catching the eye of the taller, gruff man. "Hmm, that depends. Are we done hiding from me Vinny?" He remarked, the nickname coming easy to him with an amused little smile and offering his hand for the man to take or kiss if he so wished. "I think first thing first you should buy this doll a drink, wouldn't you say?"

Casey wasn't any different from any of the other dancers that entertained the guests of the Gomorrah Casino. He had been plucked off the streets, rescued from a life of hardship beneath the Wasteland's cruel thumb. Unlike the other dancers who were forced to become addicted to chems, Vincenzo had stepped in to protect him. He had earned plenty of shit from the other Omertas, but Casey was his special boy. Vincenzo had known better than to get attached, but that hadn't stopped him. When he first set eyes on Casey, it was as if the entire world had stopped moving, colors blurring into one another until only his beloved remained. Mr.New Vegas went on about love, and now Vincenzo finally understood.

Only they weren't serious. Vincenzo did his part to maintain his distance, entertaining Casey with little dates here and there but never declaring any of his actual feelings. Men in his line of business rarely had happy endings, and he didn't want Casey to get hurt in the crossfire. Another man would come along to whisk him away, breaking his heart in the process, but that was a risk he was willing to take. Casey deserved better than a grizzled old gangster tangled up with one of the most dangerous families in town. "Hey there, doll." Vincenzo greets the dancer, who had just finished his shift and was stepping off of the bar. "You wanna go out tonight?"

So, the amazing @lovonne is doing emergency commissions, so ofc I had to get one of mah boi, Vinnie Romero. In the myths game I play him at, he’s the mortal vessel for the Greek god Pan, who occasionally takes over his body. Of course he gotta make some changes, so sweet Vinnie ends up a satyr for the duration.

(Which wouldn’t be so bad, except Pan never gives him warning and usually ends up wrecking his shoes. Or just straight-up stripping because clothes, ew. Or both! Vinnie’s life is hard.)

Anyway! Fantastic artist, great person, A+ do recommend getting a commission from her.

SHO did of course win via House Of Torture fuckery, which did not go over well with the crowd. Afterwards SHO declared he would change the balance of power in the juniors division. His former partner, YOH, did not get off to a great start, losing in less than 4 minutes by a weird roll from Hiromu, the presumptive ace of the division. Hiromu brought his scrapbook back too, bless him.

Many of the results went the opposite way I would have figured today. Maybe that’s a good thing for the first day of a tournament, before we settle into the expected results?

Happy 45th birthday to Hiroshi Tanahashi!

On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite (and in a video posted to Twitter before the show) it was revealed that Rocky Romero, invoking Kazuchika Okada’s name, recruited Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, Orange Cassidy, Kris Statlander and Wheeler Yuta) into CHAOS. Which Dustin and Greg pointed out they already were members, but y’know, technicalities. The practical upshot of this was Orange Cassidy seconded Rocky as he took on, and lost via Tequila Sunrise, to Bryan Danielson, but really, it opened the door to continue the feud between Orange Cassidy and Matt Hardy. With Okada apparently going to be in the USA until December, I can’t imagine Okada won’t appear on AEW programming before his own USA trip is over. Stay tuned.

Last night in San Francisco, several NJPW and NJoA stars took part in West Coast vs. The World for West Coast Pro. The featured match from all this was Tomohiro Ishii defeating Vinnie Massaro. Yuya Uemura beat Levi Shapiro, whilst the Empire’s Jeff Cobb beat Chris Dickinson of VLNCE UNLTD. Team Filthy’s West Coast Wrecking Crew fell in a 6-man match, teaming with Titus Alexander against the victors, Reno Scum & Juice Finau. Karl Fredericks defeated ROH’s Rey Horus.

What’s interesting here is two AAA wrestlers were on this show too: Black Taurus fell to West Coast Pro Heavyweight champion AJ Gray in the main event, whilst Mr. Iguana beat Steven Tresario. Even last year, this would have been scandalous for NJPW’s relationship with CMLL. Now, it seems there is nothing anyone is going to do; Cobb is going to Arena Mexico this next Friday 11/19/2021 teaming with TJP, and this doesn’t seem to be changing in light of the interaction with CMLL’s hated adversaries.

Meanwhile on FITE TV, House Of Glory ran its Born Again show, which featured Will Ospreay defeating HOG founder Amazing Red in the main event. I guess rumors of his retirement were premature. The Empire’s TJP lost the House Of Glory Crown Jewel title to Low Ki in a match that also featured Charles Mason. Rocky Romero opened the show, losing to Ken Broadway.

It’s a busy weekend of wrestling all around. GCW ran a show last night I still need to watch, and has the Nick Gage Invitational deathmatch tournament from my neck of the woods later this afternoon on FITE. AEW runs its Full Gear PPV tonight, which I will be watching. NJoA has an episode of NJPW Strong from Philly last month, featuring Minoru Suzuki v. Chris Dickinson, as well as Jay White v. Fred Yehi. Then, live from San Jose, CA, is Battle In The Valley, with Jay White v. Tomohiro Ishii for the NEVER Openweight title as its main event; Kazuchika Okada will be here as well. 

The tour continues tomorrow, with the first round of World Tag League 2021 matches.

went to high school with his ex-wife, they were deeply in love & settled down near quebec after graduating from college. 

they had a baby girl & five year old son, the only one that survived the fire was vinny since he was working third shift that night. the investigators listed the cause of the fire to be a faulty heater.

moved to ellingham in attempt to avoid reminders of his past life, turning to the bottle for a few years to numb the pain. 

took him about a decade to get off the bottle & go into therapy since he grew up with the idea that men shouldn’t seek that kind of help since they are ‘tough’.

currently living a happier, more stable life as an elementary school teacher & doggy dad of one. occasionally has a glass of wine & highly dependent on nicotine but isn’t into anything harsh or illegal.
