*kneeling at a shrine to you* please my lord, may i have some fozzer headcanons, any of them (not specific for anything jusst whatever comes to mind)

Let’s go! Quick fire Fozzer hcs:

For starters, in case you haven’t gathered already, I hc Fozzer as being from the equivalent of troll Russia, because of his namesake and way of speaking

This is also why I draw him so fuzzy, as he’s essentially a type of troll built for the cold (there are plenty of fuzzy bugs too)

I also hc him to be very tall

I’ve always headcanonned his lusus to be a mix between a bear and a moth. This is both an aesthetic choice, and a choice linked to his name origin

I think he’s very smart and well educated, he may even have a degree, but people often think he’s dumb because of his appearance

Similarly, he’s quite well read- he probably collects books too

He has a lot of mediocre talents, such as drawing, writing, singing, and sewing

I took the ‘practicing orthodox decompositionist’ bullet point from his troll call seriously and believe he had a religious upbringing (I mean, he does call the Reader a Judas), hence why I made his ancestor a priest

I also think his hive looks like a beaten up chapel

I have a very specific hc that he used to have sharp fangs, but they got snapped off

I don’t think he’s as kind as he lets on. His route suggests he’s actually pretty self-serving

He can see and hear ghosts, he just refuses to acknowledge them. I also think he has slight psychic control over metal

He’s a Page of Heart

I think his passion for burying bodies comes from a place of superstition and spirituality

He’s a tea guy and rarely touches coffee

He can play the accordion (or troll equivalent)

He’s good with children

He has an interest in ballet, though he’s too big and clumsy to do it himself

He has a serious sweet tooth

He’s very emotional (I personally see him as Autistic)

begging pleading tell me everything about marsti in this au!!!!!!!!

Everything? Okay.

So, in Warmer Hues, Marsti works at a mediculler unit (hospital) in Sector RBN-0718. She has plenty of colleagues, but she’s especially close with Chixie. Marsti got Chixie the job at the unit and, as such, feels very responsible and protective of her- which is a theme amongst most of Marsti’s relationships. Marsti specialises in emergency nursing, so she’s constantly dealing with a conveyor belt of new patients, all of varying severity and temperament. It’s stressful work, but Marsti is well-equipped for the job. She tends to use her few moments of respite between patients to clean; it’s sort of like a meditation for her. While a professional to her core, she also sometimes bypasses unit rules to help her fellow lowbloods get the most out of their care, such as informing them of financial loopholes and giving them extra care.

Marsti is in a matespritship with Skylla. They met on Alternia and it was love at first “hey, this lusus just tore a hole in my leg, please help”. Their relationship is very measured and healthy, but Skylla’s reckless behaviour and Marsti’s emotional repression sometimes causes tension. They get through it together though; they’re nothing if not diligent workers. Marsti is defined by needing someone to look after and/or dote on, but Skylla helps balance this by always being happy to cook up a nice meal for her and make her feel appreciated. To be honest, she probably needs it, because Marsti is going through it in this AU.

While Marsti has always been one to care for others (albeit very implicitly), this part of her was tripled after coming off-planet following the death of Folykl. I think it’s… unrealistic to assume that Folykl would make it off-planet- and even if she did, she would probably get culled. Regardless, Folykl’s death was traumatic to Marsti, as she blames herself for not being able to save her. Marsti also harbours a lot of guilt towards Fozzer’s situation, as she was one of the few trolls who knew him prior to his procedure and knows why he had to have it in the first place (little hint for this one: read Lost and Found, an old fic of mine. It’s unfinished, but it’s canon to Warmer Hues).

In regards to some upcoming stuff, I don’t want to spoil too much, but I will say that Marsti’s love for those around her often gets her wrapped up in stuff she didn’t sign up for. Marsti also has a pretty strong sense of justice, so even if she doesn’t want to be involved in something, she’ll follow through if it’s for the right reasons.

Hobbies? Just regular things. Knitting, scavenging missing family members, cooking– Cooking's a favorite!! Since I don't have a lot of chances to do so.

I usually cook when the humans aren't looking, so I gotta be stealthy.

Cartoons messed people up on what rabies looks like. Ppl think of a rabid animal and assume it's always snarling and frothing at the mouth and ready to attack. Rabid animals can appear really friendly because they lose human fear and they might approach you supposedly looking for food. It might look like a deer stumbling in circles and limping and falling over as if it's injured and disoriented. Might looks like a fox repeatedly trying and failing to stumble to its feet and unable to pick its head up. Their brains are melting. They might seem angry but they might also seem confused or injured or in need. But if you try to help that injured crying fox you could end up getting bit by an animal that's basically already dead and then your brain will melt too
