RadioApple Sigil

Here is a closer look at my Lucifer and Alastor Sigil that I will be using for all my Radioapple fics from here on out! Made with Canva, I had a lot of fun designing it! I want to say this would be what they would use to sign any official documents of Hell once they are together.

Got a lot of ideas for future fics involving these two. They would be supporting characters in a Book of Life AU and a Barbie Rapunzel AU. And be main characters in two original ideas, one which involves a different take on the soulmate trope and a rewrite of HH/HB that will explore the question of "What if Alastor wins at the destruction of Hell, Earth and Heaven, and comes to regret it?"

Right now, you can read Chapter 1 of my Hercules AU on Ao3 where Alastor and Lucifer are the main characters!

I’m Bored and Anxious So I Slapped Together a List of Fan Fic Writer Asks

11. Do you have specific playlists for writing fics?

My ADHD won’t let me concentrate on writing if I’m listening to something with words/lyrics, so a lot of the music I usually listen to wouldn’t work on a writing playlist.

I usually listen to instrumentals that somewhat fit the theme of the fics I’m writing: 20’s-30’s jazz/swing or electroswing for Alastor-centric fics, 40’s jazz or modern pop instrumentals for Angel, bardcore for Witcher fics.

I’ll also occasionally listen to just fireplace noises on youtube.

Also, bardcore is all fun and games as background noise, until you start recognizing the songs and then they refuse to stay in the background. (See: this post.)

Hi! My grandma recently got this as a gift and im wondering if I could get some advice to give her on how to take care of it? She has had other plants but never a succulent and I would hate for it to die, it's currently by a window and gets around two to three hours of sunlight and she has had it for five days and hasn't watered it yet. She does tell me that it has already shed a leaf. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you! Awesome blog btw!

Hi! Your grandma has an Echeveria ‘Perle von Nurnberg’, which is a very high light succulent! It’s already starting to stretch and will need much more light then it’s getting if she’d like it to stay in a compact rosette. These generally like at least 6+ hours of direct sunlight, and indoors I’ve never been able to keep a PVN from stretching unless it’s under a growlight. Her watering is fine, though, these generally only need water once every 2 weeks or so. However I AM concerned with it’s bowl. Succulents need to have a drainage hole, honestly all plants do, unless you’re experienced with the plant and how much water you’re giving it. I’m assuming there’s no drainage hole because it’s glass but I could be wrong. The leaf shedding is completely normal, they absorb and shed leaves as they grow.

helloooo!! thank you @vestadragon :D I don't make playlists when I write! I often don't listen to any music at all, but when I do it's my favorite playlists or whatever I'm into at the time. I must confess that playlists for 'angst' or 'adventure' etc, are often too distracting for me 😭 I do however have a playlist that I listen to most often when creating that I've been told is good, so if anyone is curious: here!

cold spots: where’s the scariest place you’ve ever been to?

La Casa de Aura, but mostly because it has a weird sensation to it (and a not good smell of old), in Mexico City. And the Island of the Dolls also in Mexicot City.

But here’s the thing... I wasn’t really scared of any of these places. Again, I’m a big time believer but I don’t feel fear for the Supernatural, on the contrary. I would be happy to see a ghost.

Oh boy this is a tough one. I’m not really sure, actually. But I know I’ve always wanted to be someone that makes people laugh. I’ve been trying to make it on YouTube for a while but I keep changing urls and starting over and im just playing video games so idk it’s not really working out. (though I’m graduating from college soon so i guess i’ll finally have time to actually work on the channel).

Concept art of Consort Bilbo with an outfit that fits both: dwarf- and hobbit-standards

Sheet (1):

Hair: Bilbo has an undercut and the length of the longer hair is the dwarven standard, the “undercut” itself is hobbit-length, with a bun it almost looks like bilbo doesnt have long hair, he also colored the dwarf-length hair a bit darker, he only wears thorin’s courting bead because he thinks that wearing many beads is uncomfortable, to remember his journey he therefore doesn’t wear beads but has tattoos

Shirt: padded shirt so Bilbo looks a bit more muscly

Trousers: hobbit-length trousers with a few golden elements

Cloak: dwarven standard, bc the trousers and shirt have a lot of hobbit elements already

Hands: left hand: a few golden rings and two wooden rings that represent his hobbit side (connected with a small golden chain to show he is still connected to the shire) right hand: a glove with some khuzdul runes, the glove represents garden work in the shire

Tattoo: two triangles on his chin and in the middle a simple sword, the sword represents sting and the triangles represent the growth and enlightenment he earned throughout the quest

Piercing: simple dwarven standard piercing, the long earring is a duplicate of Thorin’s earring in gold

Necklace: his acorn and a duplicate of Thorin’s key, in the acorn there’s a small keyhole, the acorn and key are important items to bilbo, and the keyhole shows that only Thorin matches to him

Crown: a flower crown made of mithril, only the roses are golden, theres a veil as well because... Actually just because i like the veil there is no deeper meaning, sry (it’s not like im writing an entire fic just about veiled Bilbo)

Feet(hair): Bilbo has his feet hair braided and secured with two beads, khuzdul runes for stealth are engraved

Ears: bilbo’s right ear represents erebor with a lot of gold and the ruby, the left ear is representing the shire with a wooden clip, the sun is attatched to it just because Hobbits love the sun, the earring is in the form of a rose, a gift from thorin
