The design of the bike is very appealing with sharp lines and edges. The only downer I see is the 11 liters tank, which highly contradicts BMW’s philosophy of the GS breed being a touring bike, from which you can extract around 250 – 270 km, thus making it mandatory for you to carry jerrycans. This trade-off is nothing in comparison to the fun, this bike can be.

The bike comes with switchable ABS, which means that while riding it in the dirt, you don’t want ABS to spoil the fun by being too much poky. It can easily cruise till 120 kmph without stressing the engine. The high ground clearance on offer gives the rider the confidence to go through the rocky terrains without worrying about the base hitting the rocks. Lastly, the tubeless tires are a peace of mind, especially for solo travelers who find it easy to fix a tubeless tire puncture.

The new Dominar 2019 gets an updated 373.2 cc engine which produces 40 ps of power. Five horses more than the older version.

The exhaust is new and it looks and sounds better than the older one. Also, the instrument cluster and the suspension gets an upgrade too.

Bajaj is pitching the Dominar as the undisputed king of budget touring bikes. And it seems legit. After the launch of Royal Enfield 650 twins, Bajaj really has some tough competition.

That being said, Bajaj Dominar is widely for touring in India. It has sufficient power for highway cruising, optimum comfort and the safety net of ABS.

Honda PCX Hybrid, yup! Sebuah matic baru yang diperkenalkan oleh Honda dengan konsep lebih green alias ramah lingkungan. PCX Hybrid hadir dengan mesin dan fitur fitur baru. Namun kok sepertinya beda konsep ya dengan Versi PCX Lokal yang digadang gadang menjadi lawan Nmax di Indonesia?

Memang PCX Hybrid hadir dengan facia baru meski secara keseluruhan desain masih mirip dengan versi current. PCX Hybrid hadir dengan lampu LED pada masing masing lampunya. Headlamp model baru dan tail lights model terbaru juga. Motor ini dilengkapi dengan bagasi luas dan lebar yang membantu kamu yang doyan bawa banyak barang bisa terakomodir. Keyless ignition system pun disematkan Honda pada motor terbarunya ini. Yah kalau boleh dibilang ga terlalu banyak sih yang berubah selain mesin hybrid yqng jelas akan lebih irit. Namun sebuah bisikan memberikan sebuah pertanyaan. Apakah PCX lokal nanti akan sama plek dengan PCX Hybrid?

Melirik tail lights atau lampu belakang PCX Hybrid memang terlihat baru, tapi bisikan selanjutnya bilang “shape nya beda dengan versi lokal”. Nah lho, ternyata PCX Hybrid ini masih punya perbedaan signifikan dengan versi PCX lokal. Belum lagi saat melihat ukuran ban PCX Hybrid yang bisa dibilang masih layaknya matic biasa. Ga seperti Nmax atau aerox yang punya ukuran ban lebih lebar. Kalau masih menggunakan ban ukuran segitu sih sepertinya akan sulit bertarung dengan larisnya Nmax atau Aerox yang sedang jadi primadona saat ini.

Lagian bukan sebuah kebiasaan Honda kalau melawan pesaingnya yang sudah terjun duluan hanya menggunakan jurus seadanya. Coba deh lirik CBR250RR atau CRF150 yang bentar lagi bakal brojol semuanya punya spec diatas kompetitornya. Meski mesin Hybrid ini masih terbilang hal baru dan canggih namun sepertinya Indonesia masih pengen sebuah matic gambot yang keren secara tampilan.

Last, apakah motor yang diperkenalkan di Tokyo motor show ini yang nantinya jadi versi lokal dari PCX? Kok ane rasa engga ya, jauh panggang dari api dan sepertinya mesin hybrid masih terlalu mahal untuk rakyat Indonesia. Mau dijual berapa coba? Kalau menurutmu gimana sob?
